Fiji Or Bust
#11 of The Amazing Race 2
On the last leg of the Amazing Race, teams traveled to New Zealand. They got to either jump of a building or jump up to capture keys. Then it was a coffee-drinking race to the finish. Thanks to the Olympians' penalty, the vegetarians won. It looked like Maxwell & Richard's games were done; but it was all non-elimination so no one went home. 12 teams are still in the world-wide race for a million bucks. Who will be left behind? Find out, because this is... the Amazing Race.

"Welcome back to Auckland, New Zealand." Toner says. "I'm in the local Starbucks where yesterday's winning team will be the first one to collect today's clue." Miles steps up to the clue box, presses the button, and reads it to Joey.
"Route Info: get on flight to Fiji." Teams will travel to an seven smaller island nation in Oceania known as Fiji. Specifically, they're going to Denarau Island where it's famous for its numerous hotels and its golf course.
"Hurry, Miles! We've gotta go!" Joey says. As the vegetarians get in a cab, the rest of the teams get their clue and travel to the airport. The flight to Fiji is about two and a half hours, which gives the teams plenty of time to rest or talk strategy.

"How are we ever going to take the Olympians down if there's basically never an elimination challenge?" Kit asks.
"Don't ask me," DeeDee says, "I thought you were the genius here."
"I have an IQ of 170, yes. But I don't know what to do."
"What do you think guys?" Kitty asks the cruise directors.
"I'm not sure." Vince says.
"Sam?"
"I don't know." Sam says. "This ain't big brother. The only way the Olympians are ever going to be eliminated is if they come in last, which they never have."
"Man, this is harder than I thought." Kit rubs her forehead and leans back in her seat. "I'm gonna rest on it. Hopefully something good will come to me."
"I'm surprised you're calm." Rachel says.
"Well, turns out it was non-elimination so, I'm just relieved either way." Tammy says. "But now, there's guaranteed to be a team going home. We need to step up our game more than ever. I will not be in the bottom three again!"
"Ok. Just glad you're starting to control your temper."
"Richard? You still ok, buddy?" Maxwell asks.
"Yeah. I'm fine." Richard says. "I'm still not over the drinking coffee for nothing fiasco."
"How were we supposed to know that it was a non-elimination leg?"
"We didn't. But it still sucks I had to do that. I just hope there's not another challenge like that again."

Teams land in Fiji at around 10:01 am. The vegetarians, the Olympians, the twins, and the mountain climbers fight for the lead... and the first clue. "Route Info: head to Hotel Sofitel." Kitty has trouble pronouncing the last word. Hotel Sofitel not only houses guests, it also acts as a resort and spa. Teams will find the next clue at the entrance.
Everyone quickly gets in cabs and starts driving off towards the Hotel. "Why are we letting DeeDee drive?" Sam asks.
"You're kidding, right?" She says. "I'm a speeding machine. I may be a Policefur, but I know how to speed in traffic and get away with it."
"She can be a bit 'determined' to put it simply." Diesel says.
"I'm still surprised the four of us can even fit back here." Kit says.
"Me too." Vince says.
"We tied with the twins yesterday," Becky says, "looking back on the whole race, they're very good competitors."
"I know." KiKi says. "But they've only ever won one leg of the race so far. And we're on round 11."
"True. But who knows how many times Kit & Kitty came close to that. Especially since they're working with the Policefurs. Them six are a strong alliance."
"What six?"
"Kit & Kitty, Diesel & DeeDee, and Vince & Sam. They are all threats." KiKi bursts out laughing when she hears that.
"Vince & Sam? A threat? You crack me up, Becky. They've came in 10th the last three days."
"Good point."

The Olympians and mountain climbers are the first ones to the hotel. "There's the clue box!" KiKi shouts. Becky hits the button and reads it aloud.
"Roadblock: time to... massage things up?" Whoever watched their partner drink coffee in New Zealand must now massage their partner for a full 10 minutes. Once they do, a worker (black lion) will give them the next clue.
"Let's go." Tammy says. Her and Rachel and Becky & KiKi race inside. As teams teams get the clue, some look more shocked than others.
"So, I guess I'm massaging you?" Kitty asks, thinking this is unusual.
"I guess so." Kit says.
"Joey, you're lucky I have magic paws." Miles says.
"Let's hope so." Joey says.
"What?!" DeeDee yells. "I should the one getting it! Now I have to rub you?!"
"C'mon, DeeDee, it's for a million bucks." Diesel says. Griffin & Zander, Jasper & Mitch, and Vince & Sam make it inside next.
"Ah! Go easy on my shoulders." Tammy says.
"You don't tell me what to do." Rachel says. She continues to press hard into her partner's shoulder blades.
"Zander, this is the best challenge ever." Griffin purrs. Zander is on top of him, rubbing his chest and belly, like usual.
"Glad I could do it for ya, kitty." Zander says.
"What about me?" Kitty asks.
"Oh, isn't talking to you. That's just what I call Griffin. Since he's a tiger."
"Oh. Cool."
"Kitty!" Kit says. "We still have 7 minutes."
"Sorry." Kitty goes back to rubbing her sister's back.
"I can't believe you're making me do this kind of massage." Vince says, rubbing Sam's feet.
"What?" Sam asks. "I thought you had a foot fetish."
"Foot fetish?" DeeDee snickers. "Hey, Vince! What're you gonna do? Swallow your partner's foot whole?"
"Stop it!" Diesel says. "That's one way to quickly lose an important part of your team."
"Now this would seem weird, but I'm actually ok with this." Jasper says, massaging Mitch's foot. "Maybe it's because my mom is a foot doctor and my dad's a masseuse."
"Well, my paws are killing me." KiKi says. Becky made her rub her legs. "Has it been 10 minutes yet?" Becky looks up at a timer on the ceiling. It hits zero just as she says it.
"Yep. Let's go." Becky says, hoping from the table and running to the worker (Victoria). "Route Info: get back in your cab and go to Lulu Bar Restaurant and Cafe." The mountain climbers take the lead. The Olympians finish seconds later and they head out too. At the same time, the remaining teams make it to te hotel to start to roadblock.
"Oh man." Zax says. "Just the shoulders, ok?"
"Fine with me." Milon says.
"Where do you want it?" Patricia asks.
"Legs." Zoe says. "Nothing more."
"Sweet!" Eddy says. "This will be a perfect challenge for us to bond."
"Whatever." Barbara says. "We're still in a race."
"Just lie down."
"See? Your luck's turning around." Maxwell says. "I'm giving you the massage."
"Alright." Richard lies down on the table face down.
"I know what will cheer you up. This." Maxwell carefully gets on top of his partner and slowly starts feeling up his ass, his makes Richard moan.
"Ok. That's the weirdest thing I've seen all day." Kit says. The hear a bell go off and Kitty looks up.
"Time's up! We can go!" The twins get up to get their next clue. They're soon followed by the Policefurs, vegetarians, and the fraternity brothers.

Becky & KiKi and Tammy & Rachel continue to fight for the lead. This time, Tammy reaches the clue box first. "One-Way: teams must consume the Vegetarian Samosa." A Vegetarian Samosa is made of harvested pumpkin, vegetables, potato and tamarind sauce. Once teams finish it, they must carry their empty plate outside and run 100 meters north to the checkpoint. Last team there could be cut from the race.
"Let's do this." Becky says. Her and KiKi and Tammy & Rachel are handed their own dish.
"I'm not letting foreign food get in the way of me winning the game." Tammy says. "Look, there's only 6 triangle. We can do this." Rachel starts eating alongside Tammy. Becky & KiKi remain neck and neck with them. This isn't so bad, Becky thinks, I've certainly are worse in my life. The vegetarians and twins arrive next.
"Yes!!" Joey says. "This has winner written all over it!!" Her and Miles take a seat inside and are handed the Samosa.
"You any good with vegetables, Kitty?" Kit asks. Her sister just shakes her head. Kitty are broccoli when she was 3 and... let's just say, she still vomits at the thought of the taste. "Didn't think so."

Griffin & Zander and Vince & Sam finish the massage challenge next. Another bell goes off. "Finished!" Zax says. Him and Milon get up and run out.
"C'mon!" Patricia whines. "When is it going to be our time that's up?" A bell from above them answers her question. "Never mind."
"Prepare to go, Eddy." Barbara says. She sees her and Eddy have only 5 seconds left.
"Feel better yet?" Maxwell asks.
"Maybe a little." Richard says. "Thanks for that."
"You're welcome." Two bells go off and the four of them get the clue and head to the restaurant.

"I have to eat that?" DeeDee asks when she and Diesel get their Samosa.
"Yes. Now start chowing woman! We're falling behind!" Diesel says.
"Dude, I've seen something like this on your birthday." Mitch says as he eats. "Except I think that was a quesadilla."
"You're right." Jasper says. "The shape's the same so I see why you'd think that." Vince & Sam and Griffin & Zander arrive to the One-Way challenge next.
"Oh crud. Not another eating challenge." Vince says.
"Yes! Another eating challenge!" Griffin says. The two teams get seated and are given the dish they need to eat. Of course, Griffin starts eatin' away while Zander only nibbles on some.
"Done!" KiKi says, holding up their empty plate.
"Finished!" Tammy says. The two of them glare at each other and then dash towards the door. As they leave, Milon & Zax and Zoe & Patricia enter. They see Toner and the checkpoint rug up ahead and run for it. Becky & KiKi, though, start running a little faster than even they though they could.
"And first place goes to..." Toner starts out. One team manages to outrun the other and they step onto the rug. "... Becky & KiKi."
"Alright!!" KiKi says, hugging her partner.
"That's awesome." Becky says. The Olympians then step on.
"If we have another penalty again..." Tammy starts out, coldly.
"Relax. You don't." Toner rolls his eyes. "Olympians in second place."
"Finished!" Miles says. Him and Joey get up and start running out the door.
"Sis, we've gotta hurry!" Kitty says.
"I'm already done." Kit says, showing the empty plate.
"Oh."
"We're done too." DeeDee says. "Let's move!" The Policefurs and twins leave the restaurant and start running to the checkpoint.
"Miles & Joey, you're in third place." Toner says.
"Yay!" Joey squeals, hugging her partner. The Crew makes it to the rug before any other team leaves the place.
"Policefurs, you're in fourth. Twins, you've come in fifth." The four of them hi5 each other and step off the rug.
Griffin & Zander- 6th place
Jasper & Mitch- 7th place
Vince & Sam- 8th place
Milon & Zax- 9th place
Barbara & Eddy and Maxwell & Richard enter the restaurant and quickly sit down. The publishers are almost done with their meal so they're in a race for last place.
"We've got to hurry." Richard says.
"I know." Maxwell says. "The rest of the teams must have checked in already."
"Luckily you're a fast eater." Barbara says.
"I'm not as fast as Griffin." Eddy says.
"You're fast enough." The last two teams get their Samosa and start downing it as fast as they can.
"Done!" Zoe says. She and Patricia run out and turn the other direction towards the checkpoint. 10th.
Maxwell manages to get one triangle consumed. Two. Three. Richard looks at the critics. "We've got to hurry." Richard says. "One more and they're done."
"I know." He says. Richard quickly swallows and immediately shoves the last one in, whole, into his muzzle.
"Almost..." Eddy says, chewing and swallowing the last one. "Finished!" When Richard hears that, he quickly chews and downs his last piece.
"Run!" Richard says. Him and Maxwell and Barbara & Eddy run out of the restaurant and make a beeline for the checkpoint.
"Crap!" Eddy says. "We're gonna lose!"
"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Barbara quickly picks up Eddy and hurls him towards the checkpoint. He lands on the rug and turn around.
"What the heck?" Maxwell asks. "Was that Eddy?"
"Yep." Barbara says as she passes them. "So long, losers!"
"No!" Richard says. Barbara reunites with Eddy on the rug and she helps him up.
"Sorry I threw you like that. I just didn't want us to get last again."
"That's fine." Eddy says.
"Speaking of fine," Toner says, "you two are in 11th place. You're still in this." Barbara & Eddy hug each other and then step off the rug. That's when a disappointed Richard and an exhausted Maxwell step on. "Mall hooker & customer, once again you're in last place, but today that means you're done."
"Yeah. We figured that." Richard says. Maxwell puts an arm around him.
"C'mon, honey. Let's go home." They hand Toner their empty plate and then walk the other direction. "Don't know about you, but I had fun during this race."
"I guess you're right. Egypt was pretty fun. And I guess we could always go back to Paris sometime soon."
"This race has shown that that even a hooker can do pretty awesome in an epic challenge like this. Though, we're probably gonna have to explain this to your parents when we get home."
"Oh man, they're gonna explode." Richard and Maxwell share a laugh as they walk away.
