Chapter 2 of F.L.A.S.H. I'll continue to edit and upload as time goes on.

Arian ushered Sakata to a large garage filled with many cars, all were black with tinted windows. A stylish sports car's engine roared out to them as they walked. "That sounds like my car," Arian said; in no time the car drove to them. The doors flew open revealing a comfortable black interior. "Hop in," he'd say to the wolf who'd sit in the passenger seat. When Arian got in, the car began to float and took off out of the garage and off the massive island to the northeast.

"How do you feel? Excited?" Arian asked Sakata, keeping his eyes on the sky ahead. "I'm more relieved that it's done with, but uh, where're we headed now?" Arian turned on some relaxing music before speaking again, "well you need somewhere to live, right? Your group has their own home; since you work together on everything, why not share a home too?" Sakata shrugged and sat back, letting the cat fly his way to their next destination. After a couple of minutes an island stood out from the others. The darkening sky was still bright enough to show an island; one that was a slightly bigger than the others. It was a tropical area with its own beach and flowing waters that fell off the islands edge to form a majestic waterfall. Towards the islands center was a large home with dim lights glowing from the windows. Arian approached a cobbled driveway that spanned from the island's rim to the house and prepared to touchdown.

The smooth rocks of the driveway made the landing easy and the car arrived at its destination in a quiet and relaxed manner. "You're bags are here already," Arian said. " I'll check on you tomorrow to see if everything is A-Okay". The two shook paws and Sakata stepped out, letting Arian fly off into the darkening skies of Generis.

Walking to the large wooden door of the home, he'd try the polished brass door handles; the door was unlocked and would smoothly open and allow him inside. The floors were made of white marble and just ahead was a grand staircase made of the same materials. To both the left and right were archways leading to more areas in the large home. Making his way to the stairwell he'd walk around, his dress shoes making little noise as he walked along. The home was quiet and felt empty, until the wolf felt a pair of eyes following his moves. He'd turn to face behind him and could see a pair of ice blue eyes watching him. They belonged to a cat with black fur and white markings. She had a silent smile and friendly eyes. "Hey," she'd say making an approach to him, "hello," he'd reply fully turning to face him. "Looks like you finally showed up, everyone else is out, leaving me to welcome you." Sakata gave her a smile, "thank you, this is a really nice place. Better than my home." The cat chuckled and gave him her paw, "call me Frost," she'd say; "Sakata," he replied shaking her paw. "Well, might as well give you a quick tour of the house," she said turning to lead him deeper into the home.

Frost led Sakata into a large, open area with a massive television; a wide assortment of modern furniture and an open kitchen filled the rest of the room. Wide windows gave an outside view of the tropical area the house was surrounded by; the room had a calm atmosphere to it. "We all usually hang out in here together," Frost said walking into the kitchen. "If you feel like cooking go ahead, we don't have a particular order, but it'd be nice to ask before you cook. Everyone usually comes in here when they have a bit of time to rest, or whatever." Sakata looked around at the room, he seemed quite relaxed by the comfortable nature the room had. The feeling of relaxation was interrupted though as Frost would continue to show him around the house.

A quick detour brought them to the left side of the large home; she'd open a door and the very end of a hall revealing an empty garage. "This is the garage," she'd say walking in, "usually we have trucks in here, but everyone went out for the night." Sakata would look around and spot a well-worn workbench with tools of all kinds in the corner. Scrap metal was put neatly in a bin and a shelf filled with goggles and other things lingered towards the ceiling. "I'm guessing someone likes to work in here?" Sakata asked. Frost nodded, "Lars, you'll meet him tomorrow I'm guessing, along with everyone else." She'd then turn around and move to the room next door. Inside a large gym filled with all kinds of fitness equipment, some weights exceeding a couple hundred pounds. Sandbags and training dummies stood off to the side while a large portion of the room lay bare. "I shouldn't have to say what room this is..." Frost said moving onto other rooms. She'd show him washrooms, spare bathrooms, and a bar area towards the back of the home. The bar surprised the wolf; a mix of granite and wood made it as authentic as any tavern he'd ever been in; the two would stop for a moment. "So you're from Sa'ri, right?" Frost asked walking to the bar to grab a bottle of water. "Yes," Sakata said watching; his eyes would flicker to the many alcoholic beverages available. "It's mostly desert, right?" Frost asked, "I've never been..."

"The central area of the continent is." "That's a lot of sand... "You get used to it. Where're you from?" "The Sunset Isles...I'm a military kid."

"Fun," Sakata would say, scratching his chin before giving off a tired yawn. "Tired, I see," Frost said; Sakata would nod in response. "Well I'm a bit tired myself, so why don't I show you to your room? You can meet everyone else tomorrow." Sakata liked this idea and would let her lead the way once more. Up the large staircase, Frost led him to the right where a hallway filled with tasteful paintings and photos led the two past three doors. The fourth door they encountered was different, being made of solid, oak wood. Frost opened the door, revealing a room that was simple in design. A large, cozy looking bed sat next to a window covered by black velvet curtains. A nightstand, dresser and desk made of ebony filled the large room out; the desk housed a computer monitor and tower, pencils, notebooks and a few other things. She'd dim the lights and looked round.

"Your clothes and bags are all in the closet," Frost said as Sakata walked on the cream colored carpet of his new room. As he sat on the bed, she couldn't help but give a playful smile. "Do you like it?" She'd ask him. "Yep," He'd reply feeling the soft bliss that was his bed. "Well, this concludes our tour then, " she'd say before taking a sip of her water; the lukewarm bottle seemed to slowly glaze over with a thin layer of ice. "I'm heading off to bed, see you in the morning." She'd say with a slight purr as she left; the door closed quietly behind her.

Sakata walked to the closet and opened it; his bags were neatly stacked in the corner of the large walk-in closet. He opened one, pulled out a pair of night clothes, and began to undress. Once he was dressed for bed, he'd make his way to the immaculate beauty that was his new bed; he'd bundle up under the blankets and fall into a deep sleep quite quickly..

The next day Sakata woke up to the sounds of small wyverns chirping outside. He'd walk to the bathroom and groom himself for the day. After putting on clothes, he'd walk down the large stairwell; he could hear voices in the kitchen, and smell fresh coffee. His entrance into the living area was silent and he could see that three new faces were up and about. Frost was sitting in a chair and noticed Sakata's arrival, "good morning," she'd say to him. Sakata smiled, "good morning everyone...sorry if I'm up a bit late..." One of the furs, a massively built, snow leopard, gave a friendly chuckle, "No on blames you," he said in a thick accent. Sakata smiled and sat down. "So," Frost said looking to him, "let's officially introduce ourselves...we've already met, so I think this is more for you and them." Sakata nodded and would go first, "well, my name is Sakata, I don't have a last name, and I'm from Sa'ri. Before I came here I was a part of Desert Patrol in the Sa'ri Army, I'm good at recon, guerilla warfare, and infantry." The large snow leopard stuck out his paw, "nice to meet you, friend." He'd say, Sakata shook his paw, though the large snow leopard pulled him into a friendly bear hug. "I am Holland Skovhol, I come from the northern regions of Stonewharf, Vezmaak. Though I'm far from home, I find myself at home here...I even cook most of the time, but I wouldn't mind some help. I've been here the longest and I usually handle any big weapons." Sakata was intrigued at the mention of his tenure. Before he could ask though a white wolf of average build would speak next. "Like Holland said, it's great to meet you, I'm Larson Axel...but I insist you call me Lars. I'm from the beautiful Haven Province of Pagodia...which isn't too far from the Isles...anyway I do mechanical work and infantry tactics." Sakata smiled, "nice to meet you," he'd say, Lars would return the smile with his own, the last to speak was a golden furred fox girl, she gave Sakata a warm smile, "Hello," she'd begin, "I'm Aya Poppy, I'm also from Pagodia, but I'm from Thistle Creek Province...which I think is better than Haven Province." She looked at Lars who rolled his eyes; she'd grin devilishly before continuing, "I specialize in strategy, and intelligence."

"It's wonderful to meet all of you," Sakata said, he would have continued speaking, but the ringing of the doorbell took his train of thought, and attention away. "I got it," Frost said getting up. Holland offered Sakata coffee, which he'd gladly accept. When Frost came back, Arian followed behind her, he had an electronic tablet in his paws. "Morning everyone!" Arian said cheerfully, taking his suit coat off. "It's warm outside...a bit warmer than usual. How's everyone doing?" Lars spoke up, "I think we're doing okay, right guys?" Everyone agreed and Arian smiled; "wonderful," he'd say tapping away at the tablet screen. "Well, while I was coming to check on Sakata, the General decided I'd be his errand boy too." He'd hand the tablet to Frost who quietly observed the tablet screen. "Well, well, well... looks like he wants us to visit in a few hours. We have a training mission."

"About damn time!" Lars said hopping up happily. "Indeed," Frost said standing up, "well, might as well get going, thirty minutes to prepare is enough...right?" Everyone would nod and would head upstairs to get dressed. Sakata would rummage through his bags and pull out his utility uniform; after changing into it, he'd roll the sleeves up tightly and grab his uniform cover and headed downstairs. Lars was waiting downstairs wearing his own uniform with Arian, the three would chat while they waited for everyone else. "Do you like movies?" Lars would ask Sakata, "yeah, though it's been a while since I've seen one..." Lars grinned, "dude, we need to go to the movies soon..." Arian sighed, "I wish I wasn't busy, I never get to go..." Lars patted his back, "one of these days," he'd say.

Everyone would soon trickle down soon enough, Arian stood up and grabbed his suit coat, "Since everyone is here, I'm gonna go, I have a lot of paperwork," he'd say, "Sakata, a package will be in your room when you come back...it's some stuff you'll need." Sakata nodded and Arian headed to the front door. Frost would walk him out while Lars led the rest to the garage. "I'm driving!" Lars said, hopping into the front seat of one of the three trucks in the garage. The truck he chose had an extended truck bed and two seats. Holland would walk to the passenger seat and got in, leaving Sakata and Aya to hop into the truck bed. Frost would soon join them and the garage opened up; the truck turned on and Lars drove out of the garage onto the cobbled driveway. "Hold onto your seats!" Lars said as his foot slammed onto the accelerator. A quick flip of a switch and the truck began to float, sending it off into the sky; Lars was smiling as the wind blew in his fur. Arian trailed behind them as they flew through the clear skies to the Isle of Fire.

After touching down, Lars would drive toward a checkpoint where a grizzled old bear stood with his arms crossed. After showing his I.D. to the bear they drove onward to a parking lot and curtly parked in an open space. Sakata followed his teammates as they walked through the Isle of Fire's Military Base. After another I.D. check they'd find themselves in a more secure area of the base. A quick turn put them in a small room. They'd sit at a table and wait until another fur walked in. The fur was a stocky badger with black fur, though he was greying slightly he was still very strong. His dress uniform was decorated with ribbons and medals from many years of service.

"Good morning," the badger would say calmly, "first I'd like to introduce myself officially to our new member here." He'd shake paws with Sakata, "I'm General Graphite of the Generis Unified Armed Forces, nice to meet you." Sakata smiled, "it's nice to meet you too, sir," Sakata said in return. "You'll all be going to the Bio-Dome today," he said returning to business, "The assignment is mainly a test at how well you will all work together. I won't question what you do, as you all are skilled enough to make your own calls but the gist is this is a capture mission. We'll have everything set up upon your arrival; get to the tram and get yourselves whatever you need. With that being said I'll see you there. With an exchange of salutes, Holland would lead everyone outside the barracks to an area filled with transport pods.

During the ride they had time to talk as they'd approach an island with a glass dome, another waterfall well down to the lake below, they were headed right for it. "I can't get over how beautiful these islands are..." Sakata said as he looked out at the Bio-Dome. "Yeah, it's pretty nice," Aya said watching a few small wyverns fly past their pod. Passing through the roaring waters, a cave with a huge metal door was where they landed. The damp cave had a few soldiers, all armed with rifles and body armor. Another I.D. checkpoint ensured who they were before the metal door swung open; Sakata followed his teammates through the door into a massive room filled with weapons of almost every kind. "Let's meet in the back when we're done," Frost said; they'd all agree and went their own ways to load up for their newest mission.
