So I"ll post a few more writings here. I'm proudest of this story I'm editing; after that I'll be happy to say it's done.

Going with my Generis Intro, the World of Generis has quite the military presence. This story centers around a soldier and his transition into one wild and high octane life.

"Sir, wake up you have little time to prepare" A computerized voice told a sleeping fox-wolf as he slept. He awoke, sitting up and stretching his arms before letting out a tired yawn; he had stayed up to early the previous night. "Agency Escorts will be here in 15 minutes you should really get ready," the voice told Sakata. He fully arose from bed and made his way to the bathroom; he'd prepare a hot shower and run his paw under the water until it felt just right. He took off the under garments he was wearing and looked at himself in the mirror; his snow-white fur, and midnight blue markings (which covered his chest, and abdomen area) were stained with blood. His lean, yet muscular build showed he was at the peak of physical fitness. His midnight blue eyes burned with the lack of sleep and his face stung from a deep cut on his left cheek. "Where the hell did this come from...?" He thought aloud touching the cut slightly. A flashback from the night before passed his mind, he had hit his face trying to get in bed. "Oh yeah...that happened," he stated absentmindedly turning away from the bathroom mirror, and climbing into the shower he had prepared for himself. The hot water hitting his fur removed all signs of sleepiness from him, and made him shiver with new vigor. He washed himself thoroughly making sure to use shampoo to rid the bloodstains on his fur.

When he finished he dried himself off, and began the task of finding his uniform. A black dress coat with matching pants and shoes were pressed and clean along with his military ribbons and bright white dress shirt set on the side. He'd quickly put his uniform on and fix his hair and fur; his shoes were last to be put on and he could only grin as he looked at himself in the mirror. A knock could then be heard from the door then and he casually walked to and opened it; a mouse with pale gray fur, and a black suit stood waiting for him. "Are you ready sir?" He asked Sakata, who nodded, and walked out the room and into the hallway. The mouse put his hand on Sakata's shoulder and with a slight grunt the two vanished, only to appear in front of the hotel where a line of ten Agency personnel waited by an armored car. "Well..." Sakata mouthed as the mouse signaled for him to follow. The doors to the car were opened and he got in; the car's interior was comfortably big...but empty.

The car began to move as a convoy of small patrol crafts carrying large multi-barreled plasma guns floated into place in front and behind the car; the convoy soon picked up speed as it took to main streets. A large amount of furs could be seen waiting behind barricades watching happily as the convoy passed; the windows were too tinted on the outside leaving Sakata to only watch as they passed by. The cars wheels soon retracted and were replaced by exhaust nozzles that ignited and lifted the car into the air, sending it on its way to the beautiful Isle of Fire; the center of the Sunset Isles. Sakata looked out the windows as the car floated over the clouds, the sky was a clear tint of blue. "Wow, never thought I'd ever be up this high," Sakata said to himself. He looked around at small specks in the distance, which were only small floating isles. He sighed as he sat back and thought of how his humble life patrolling the deserts, changed to him being selected to be part of an elite fighting force. As he closed his eyes to remember his past, the convoy sped up and ascended further, looking outside, he could see a massive body of earth supporting a series of rustic towers, a large waterfall roared loudly as it fell to Lake Sapphire, thousands of feet below. The convoy landed on a runway, and pulled into a vehicle hangar where a large group of Agency workers were waiting, along with soldiers dressed in full dress uniform

As Sakata emerged from the car, he looked around at the many he would soon be re-assigned with; a very skinny black cat dressed in a navy blue suit walked towards him, a long tuft of silvery fur was slicked back on his head to keep it out of his pale green eyes. "Hello, Mr. Sakata," the cat said with a wide smile, he extended his paw, Sakata shook his hand and gave the cat a smile. "My name is Arian Koteph, I am Co-Chairman of Agency Affairs." Arian let go of his hand and beckoned Sakata to follow his lead, the two walked through the small parting made by the soldiers. As they walked out of the hangar, they were bypassed through security when Arian showed a badge with the Agency Crest to a security overseer (the crest was a book, and quill). Past the checkpoint was a plaza; in the center the Agency crest was carved into a rounded marble slab. "This is High Point Plaza," Arian said as Sakata looked around at the many furs walking from place to place. He'd observe that many had come to get a look at him before hurrying off to their offices to continue their secretive jobs. "Where exactly are we headed?" Sakata asked looking up at a few buildings, which towered rather high, casting large shadows over the Plaza. "Starlight Rotunda," Arian said pointing to the center building, which happened to be the largest; its domed top was covered in regally decorated glass.

The two walked to the building idly chatting on the way; upon entering the building Sakata whistled audibly at the sheer beauty of the building's interior. Shiny white marble floors were adorned with plush royal blue carpets, and large gold statues of many of Sky Council's presidents over the years. Arian and Sakata walked toward the north of this wonderful hall as Arian explained the room's history. "This, is Leader Hall, you can see every leader ever in charge of Sky Council. From the great Carex Lyres, our founder, to the current Baron Ovenheart." The two stopped where elevator pods awaited them. Sakata was quite amazed, never had he seem anything like this, and he'd never thought he see this kind of thing in his life, especially in such quick succession. The elevator darted up quickly, Sakata watched through transparent glass as Leader Hall got farther and farther away until they reached the next floor which was about a good 300 feet above. "Come with me to my office," Arian said walking into a hallway with more soft blue carpet; a few thick wooden doors could be seen, but Arian went to the last one on the right; he'd open the door and went in with Sakata right behind him.

Inside was a large corner office that had a perfect view of far off islands and cloud formations below. "This is my office..." Arian said sitting in his leather chair behind his desk. "It's pretty high up from the planet itself, and surprisingly well made. You're probably wondering why you haven't felt sick from the change in elevation." Sakata shook his head, the thought didn't occur to him. "Huh..." Arian thought aloud, his ears flicked and he continued. "The Isle of Fire is named for it's connection with our guiding star, Majora. The plants get all the light and water they need from the air and Majora, and thus oxygen flows regularly here just like the rest of the planet."

"So if that's the case that's the only reason why the other islands look...barren?" Sakata said looking out at far off floating specks. "I'm no scientist, so I don't know," Arian replied sitting back, his silvery tuft gave off a slight glimmer. "Now about you're official swearing in," Arian sprang up from his seat; he'd change the subject quite quickly. "Tonight, you will be brought to the Chamber of Stars where the Council Cabinet will swear you into F.L.A.S.H. It shouldn't take long...but you have a rough trip into the future. You ready for this?" Sakata looked at him and gave him a smile, "Of course, Desert Patrol definitely prepared me for a lot. I'll prove my worth, thousand fold if I have to." Arian heard this and smiled. "I can tell you're gonna do wonderful," he said. Sakata thought for a second, "When will everything really start?" He asked Arian who had gotten a bottle of water from a small machine in his office. The cat looked at him with confusion, "What do you mean by that?" Arian asked him sipping from the bottle. "Missions, assignments, patrolling...that kind of thing."

Arian thought for a second before he continued. "Can't tell you for sure...though you're being completely reassigned the idea should be the same in my mind...just different leaders. Most orders will be coming from the Colonel, General Graphite the leader of the Generis' Armed Forces, or myself. These will be any number of things; protecting Agency Officials in dangerous circumstances, performing recon for high priority objectives and any maneuver that we couldn't send anyone else in. Probably planet security, or anything too big for any other force to stop." Sakata nodded, it made sense and with the kind of things he'd have to do, he'd probably have to keep his wits sharp.

A few moments after this the phone on Arian's desk rang; he picked it up. "Hello?" Arian said, after this he went quiet for a minute or so before saying "Yes sir," before hanging up. "Looks like they moved the ceremony to now, c'mon we'd better hurry. Arain pressed a button on the phone and the wall to his left opened up, it had an elevator pod in it. Arian beckoned for Sakata to follow, and the two got into the pod. The pod was smaller and made of mostly metal; it zoomed up at high speed, until it slowed down to a halt. The door opened and the two walked into and down a metal hallway, it was lit by a few lights every ten steps or so. The hallway led to a small door with a paw scanner. Arain placed his paw on the scanner and after a short analysis the door unlocked and swung open. On the other side the room was humongous and circular, the domed top was adorned with fine glass, and the room itself was painted in an astounding blue with gold accents. The floor tiles were large slabs of shiny white marble and polished wooden stands sat high and filled with important Agency members, the seat in the center and the one that sat higher than the rest held a dragon with deep red scales, and golden markings, he was rather old, and had small spiked horns that lined his jaw as ifbthey were a beard. "That's Ovenheart?" Sakata said looking at Arain. He nodded and led Sakata to the center of the room, Agency and press alike were along the room's perimeters, some had recording devices, and some had cameras.

As the rest came, a pedistal rose from the ground in front of Sakata, it had a paw analyzer, a black book and a small box. His tail swished in curiosity as he looked at the box; an elderly hound sitting to the right of Ovenheart stood up and put a small earpiece into his ear. Everyone quieted down, and turned to listen to this elder speak. "I've overseen years of projects, and have worked to keep our world for the better. F.L.A.S.H is a very important part of our military that has led us through this period of peace with assurance and confidence. Recently, one of our elite have fallen, and though we've lost him, we had to continue and find yet another of strong stock. I've heard of the elite Desert Patrol of Sa'ri's National Army; though I've never heard of such ability. A mission of great importance came along one day and during it a large group of enemies attacked quite mercilessly."

" Normally this would have ended in men lost in our forces...good men; this young wolf we see before us happened to be patrolling the area, and with quick precision only the best could achieve, he easily neutralized the threat. With such skill and ease we I say we can safely put our trust in this young fur; and I believe our future of excellence can be preserved well with him helping guide us through peace." Sakata smiled at the thought of the old hound speaking such words. "With this said," He'd speak again, a smile could be seen on the old hound's face, "Sakata, place your left paw on the black book before you." Sakata obeyed placing his paw onto the book, it's leather was nice and soft. "Hold your right up, and repeat after me."

His right paw lifted up, and his navy blue eyes met with the old gray orbs of the hound.

"By taking this oath, I Sakata, swear loyalty to our unified military, and Sui Generis as a whole. I will uphold excellence and justice before anything else, and be fearless in the face of any danger. I will use sound judgment to ensure the most successful outcome of assignments given; if I should fail, I will accept failure, and show no excuse but my own shortcomings. Blessed be the people, blessed be servicemen, and blessed be Sui Generis!"

Sakata repeated this oath and as he finished Arian walked to him and opened the box, containing a pin and a ribbon; the pin had the Agency seal engraved in gold while the ribbon was black, blue and gold and held a small gilded dragon under it's length. He pinned both onto Sakata's uniform, and adjusted it to look perfect. Arian put Sakata's right paw onto the analyzer, it registered him to Agency systems, and beeped when it finished. "Sakata," the hound said with a smile on his face, "Congratulations, and good fortune to you." Sakata's tail wagged a mile a minute, the stands were filled with applause, and Ovenheart, gave a small smirk. Arian smiled and shook his hand. "Well, you've done it," he'd say cheerfully, "welcome to your new home, I think you're gonna love it here."
