The Sun rose over the land slowly, bringing warmth over the freezing wasteland, it was getting colder and colder by the moment, every plant dying slowly while the grass stopped it's growing slowly over time. these times were depressing for Onyx, he hated it all, so he remained asleep for so long each day.

Jade lay at the edge of the cliff, watching the forest below, the leaves falling from the trees and floating about the area before they settled down against the ground. to jade, this time of year was relaxing, winter was fast approaching their land, and most animals gave up on taking other's territories, while others seemed a bit more aggressive, but luckily for her, this meant no more pesky dragons intruding her land...well, except for that black drake who had claimed her as his. he had no right to do so, but she had no power to stop him in the first place.

Her long tail swayed slowly while she waited for Onyx to wake. but he seemed to just lay in the den, not bothering to get up. she knew he hated winter, but she never knew he hated it so much as to not even want to eat cooked deer. his meal laid beside the fire, which she had put up that morning. it was the best thing towards warmth until the sun rose fully.

She remained quiet for only a few more moments before she decided to try and get the cub up and out to go do something other then sit and be lazy all day, especially since they would have plenty of time to do that when full on winter hit

She got up and turned to walk over to the den, her tail sliding along the stone slowly before it lifted a bit and swayed around behind herself. She stopped beside the cute little sleeping gryphon, and nudged his side, getting a few uncomfortable squawks from the Avian

"Leave...Go somewhere else...please?"

"You know I can't do that, darling. now rise and eat your meal, unless you want to die of the cold, I am not keeping your food warm so you can waste energy and lay on the cold stone."

"Says the one who took me hostage...it's your fault you have to worry about me..."

Jade groaned, her tail lashing around and smacking against the ground roughly, she watched him, her eyes staring right into his, and she hissed lightly

"If you want me to be hostile, I will."

"Oh, yeah sure, you also said I would hunt, but you are doing all the hunting around here, not me."

"ahh, I see how it is..." Without hesitation, Jade picked the gryphon up with her teeth, holding him lightly by the scruff, and carried him to the edge of the cliff, before she dropped off and went down to land on the forest ground below. there, she dropped the cub down onto the ground, and huffed lightly, his tail flicking around uncomfortably while he turned to face the dragon.

"So, you are punishing me?"

"Yes, I am. you will hunt all day, and live on your own, without the use of your wings. good luck little one, if you can succeed, then I will allow you to do whatever you'd like, whenever you'd like, for a day."

"Fine...but what if I get hurt?"

"You'll figure out something." With that, Jade took off to the sky and flew back to the top of the cliff, her not caring to look back down at the gryphon. he just sat there, watching as she left, and after he couldn't see her anymore, he got up and started to walk through the gloomy forest, his tail swaying about slowly while his pointy ears lay flat aginst his head. he wasn't sure what he was doing, or where he was going, but he could easily manage to live one day by himself, especially because he was already good at hunting.

He walked for what seemed to be hours before he finally settled down in a small burrow like spot underneath a huge tree. it wasn't as sheltered as he wanted, but the roots of the tree did give some sort of protection from the weather.

He laid down, curling up into a ball, while he watched the area around himself, his ears flat against his head, and his tail tucked up against his side while he remained silent, trying to find some sort of animal that he could take his meal, even though the chances of him catching something to eat was slim.

Not too long after waiting, he heard some rustling around his general area, and slowly emerged from his covering. he scanned the area carefully, although saw nothing, he didn't even see the bushes that were making the noises, only heard them. he gulped lightly, lowering himself to the ground, and listened...nothing, the sound stopped altogether, like whatever was making the noise had stopped moving entirely, froze, or just vanished. he sat up lightly, and huffed his relief, he turned around to look back at his shelter and was suddenly tackled by a rough body of some sort. the other creature rammed itself into his chest, and sent him over and onto his back, getting a large hiss from Onyx, as he reinjured his wing.

"Got you!" A young lFemale gryphon shouted into Onyx's ear while she rubbed her beak into the male's neck, her cooing delightfully ontop of Onyx while her long, Leopard tail swayed slowly behind herself. "I knew I had your delightful scent, so charming, so fresh...so enticing...I got track of you from such a long ways away~"

"E-excuse me?"

"Oh, don't play dumb! I know you can smell my fertile scent, I am in heat, and you are the lucky male I have chosen to satisfy my needs!"

Onyx almost whimpered at what he had just heard, his ears flicking and twitching while his tail flicked and smacked against her own tail "wait...but, your so much older!"

"Oh please! Age has nothing to do with readiness, would you have this Fertile scent of your own if you weren't ready? I think not!"

Onyx groaned, as the female slowly lowered herself, and started to nibble along his stomach fur, breathing her warm, delightful breath against his sensitive stomach, his hind legs stiffening while his talons flexed

"Aww yes, you are very ready, almost as ready as I am..." The female cooed happily, continuing to move slowly down towards the other's groyne. he was in heaven, being treated like that by such a beautiful gryphon, he wanted to go through with it, what she wanted him to do, but...he just couldn't, not after all that has happened, and plus, he was so much younger than she was! so what he could produce semen, that doesn't mean he's ready for such actions.

He hoisted himself upwards suddenly, and pushed her off of himself, before he shook the dirt from his fur and feathers, and sat down on his haunches. "I'm sorry, but, I just can't go through with this, forgive me..."

She didn't seem to mind, she just looked more sad "Really? but, I'm all wet, and you have just what I need, won't you help a fellow gryphon?"

"Just...no, okay?"

"Fine, but when you change your mind, come and find me," Before she left, she walked over, and rubbed along the male's side like a feline, before she turned, lifted her tail, and smeared her sex's liquids onto the gryphon's side, making sure to put plenty y of it on him, before she giggled, and started to walk off without saying another word.

He was just sexually marked by a female...he immediately pushed his nostrils into his side fur, inhaling her scent deeply, it was wonderful, it made him feel so giddy, so happy...He couldn't help but get aroused, his shaft soon poking from its sheath, although he ignored it, he just returned to his little shelter, laid down, and pressed his exposed tip into the leaves below, which was rather uncomfortable, but he bared it.

He couldn't think straight, his head spun with random thoughts, while his body was mixed with emotions he'd never felt before, he just closed his eyes, laid his head down, and ignored everything around himself, soon falling into a light, peaceful sleep, thinking about what he should do when he awoke later that day.
