Nathaniel woke three hours later, gasping for air on the bathroom floor. He shot straight up, but hit his forehead on Jack's nose. He groaned lightly and laid back down.

"Ow." The wolf sighed and looked at the wolf who murdered an entire school. His eyes held such disappointment. They flashed and glimmered. "How could you Nathaniel?" Nathaniel had a temper at some times, yet he was a sweet and caring being. It shouldn't of taken some words from a snot nosed girl to set him off.

Nathaniel looked away as tears began to brim in his eyes. " I couldn't leave you if I wanted. W-What she said, I j-just couldn't take it." In truth, he had imagined and dreamt about leaving Jack, or dying in his arms. Or the other way around.

"Still no excuse for what you did. Be lucky that I erased the memories. Or tried to. All i could do was alter it so that someone else made the fire. Even if it had worked, the gym was still burned." He pointed out. Jack was wondering something though. Maybe what she said was a trigger word or something. All he knew was that Nathaniel was put off by it. He wished he knew what was going on in that mind of his.

"I-I know that. I-I just can't live without you." Tear after tear spilled from Nathaniel's deep hazel eyes.

"Shh love. It's alright." He picked up the wolf and cradled him as Nathaniel sobbed in his chest. Jack sighed and hugged Nathaniel close to his body. "Don't worry. Everything is going to be fine."

The red wolf put a paw on his lover's chest while he sobbed. He squeezed lightly and Jack looked down and smiled sadly.

"We need to get to class. You can't miss any more time, and I keep telling you, make an appointment with the school therapist!" He gently set down Nathaniel and steadied him.

I-I know. I'm sorry." In truth, he really did need to make an appointment, but he was scared to because he didn't want to relive it more than he needed to. He was just scared that's all. Nathaniel stood up and wobbled a little bit. Jack put a paw on Nathaniel's back slightly to steady him.

"You good now?" Jack smiled warmly and slowly retracted his paw. Nathaniel nodded and breathed.

"I think so. Y-You need to go. How long has it been?" He asked. The talent show started in the morning, at nine am sharp. And that little attack must of lasted a good twenty minutes.

"Three hours love." Jack would have had Speech and Debate, while Nathaniel had an acting and playwriting class.

Nathaniel nodded and looked around. "So then you need to go. Your favorite class is now, and you have to argue about how King Tut died. You had an entire ten page paper on it. You know, how you think he died of genetics and not a hunting accident?"

Jack gave Nathaniel a look of confusion and stared. "Um what? Which paper?"

The other wolf rolled his eyes and sighed. "The one where you had written down almost every argument and counterargument. You know that one?"

Jack went wide eyed and gasped. "Oh shit, that one! Damn it! Sorry love, I need to go." He gave Nathaniel a quick kiss on the cheek and ran out of the restroom they resided in.

Nathaniel blushed and smiled. "You goof." He muttered to himself. He turned around and took a step forward. His abdomen exploded in pain, and he crumpled to the ground. He curled inwardly and painfully as he groaned."A-Anybody? P-Please help." His ocarina buzzed and hummed with energy as the pain coursed through his body. He closed his eyes and fell into a chasm full of never ending pain.

Jack perked his ears as he felt a specific hum of magical energy. He shook his head and read on. "King Tut couldn't of died from a hunting accident because he had a rare geneti-" The humming grew louder and stronger and he flinched. Was something happening to him? He bolted out of the room, his papers fluttering from the wind he created. He followed the humming and it led him to the bathroom where Nathaniel resided. What he found was the wolf curled up, his left ear bleeding as he clutched his abdomen. "P-Please help me. It hurts." He croaked.

Jack fell to his knees and pulled out his phone. "Nathaniel, you're going to be fine." He dialed the emergency number. They picked up swiftly. "Hello, this is the emergency number for Halifax. What's your emergency?" Jack sputtered out. "Please hurry! My boyfriend is having trouble! I don't know what's wrong, but he's in pain! Please hurry! Dalhousie School!" The pleasant voice replied and hung up.

Jack started to sob and touched Nathaniel's shoulder. He recoiled when the other wolf started to thrash about. "Nathaniel! Calm down please!"

Nathaniel didn't reply and a dark shadowy aura enveloped him. He thrashed about some more, letting loose a strangled yelp.

Jack's tears fell as he tried to calm down the wolf. "Please love, calm down." He held him down as paramedics came rushing into the room. He let go of the thrashing wolf as three people, two were male, one female. One was a large beaver, his belly jiggling as he walked, a petite lioness with an agile build and golden eyes that shone under the florescent lights. The last one was a large panda, bigger than the beaver. He seemed to have a kind face and a permanent smile creeping on his face.

Jack sighed in relief and kissed Nathaniel's forehead. The lioness scoffed and turned away. She whispered to the panda, but Jack still heard it.

"Fucking fags. Let him die, he's gonna go to hell anyway." The lioness seemed to purr that out.

"Enough Finway." The panda huffed. The panda and beaver went up to Nathaniel. They tried to lay a paw on him, to calm him, but the wolf let loose a guttural scream.

Once he screamed the stall immediately plunged into an inky darkness. Everyone screamed and shouted. "What the hell?" It seemed to be the lioness yelling. There was a long grunt, it could've been either of the two males.

A soft silvery light chased a small bit of the darkness away. It enveloped Nathaniel and grew bigger, silver flames dancing against the wall. The darkness seeped into the walls, but the silver light remained. It gave of a soft warm heat, much like a hearth on christmas day. Nathaniel thrashed and made a sound like he was being strangled.

Jack was unable to process all of his. He just knelt there, his face frozen in a gasp. "L-Love?" He whispered. "A-Are you alright? Nathaniel? Nathaniel?!" He shook and stuttered frantically.

The soft light faded away as a trickling sound was heard and and the floor suddenly became wet. The lights came back on, and the others saw what was happening.

What they saw was that Nathaniel had became completely encased in a sphere of water. He was floating and his muzzle was open. Bubbles slowly rose to the surface, popping.

The ground cracked and split, green vines encircling and wrapping around Nathaniel in a snug embrace.

The others stared in horror as the vines squeezed and lowered to the ground, with the unconscious wolf in tow. The water evaporated into steam and rose to the ceiling.

Jack scrambled to his feet and leapt towards Nathaniel. A vine whipped and struck Jack in the chest, sending him sailing towards the wall. He crumpled to the ground and groaned.

Nathaniel gasped and his eyes flew open, his usual glassy purple eyes that seemed to gaze into another dimension, was a golden color. Much like how when blacksmiths poured liquid gold into a mold, and his eyes were that mold. "J-Jack? Where are you? Love? Where are you?!" He wailed.

It hurt Jack to hear his boyfriend wail, but he couldn' do anything about it. He hadn't seen the eye change, but he was terrified nonetheless.

The vines pulled him down, his body sinking into the tiled floor. There was one final scream and Jack howled. "Love!"

Jack screamed and pounded the floor with his fist. The paramedics stared in disbelief.

"W-What the h-hell just happened"? The lioness said, shocked. They all stared, trying to process what had happened.

Jack was unable to answer, but another rumble was heard. Through the hole Nathaniel made, a bone white skeleton crawled through the hole.

"That soul is damned to hell, but Hades wishes to test your love. Travel through Tartarus, and you'll find him. He hasn't seen a good sport in awhile. I trust that you won't disappoint him." He sank through the floor, with his sunbleached grin burning in Jack's mind.

Jack screamed and darted to the now closing hole that was left gaping in the restroom floor. The large beaver held him back, his his glistening with fear.

"T-That's hell! Y-Your gonna go to hell for your boyfriend?" He stuttered frantically.

Jack screamed and fought, wrenching away from the beaver. He dove in, the hole closing.
