Gideon shook Raymond awake and Raymond groaned as he rolled onto his other side and said, "Five more minutes."

Gideon laughed and said, "We don't have five minutes. If we want to see our babies before our first day of school we have to take a shower now."

At that Raymond jumped up and said, "First day of school! Come on, let's go then!"

Gideon laughed as Raymond pulled him into the bathroom. "Excited about school?" Gideon asked as he stripped off his boxers.

Raymond nodded as he did the same. Gideon ran a finger down the scar on his stomach and Raymond laughed. "That tickles."

Gideon grinned as he tickled Raymond some more and only stopped when Raymond started gasping for breath. "I love you." Gideon said with a grin.

Raymond grinned back and said, "I love you too."

Gideon and Raymond hopped into the shower and Gideon grinned as he washed Raymond's back, going slower as he got closer to Raymond's tail hole. He grinned as Raymond shuddered and continued washing him, turning him around so he could wash his stomach and the front of his legs. "You know, I can wash myself."

Gideon nodded, "I know, I'm just not letting you."

Gideon finished up washing his body after teasing him a bit more before scrubbing his own scales clean quickly and hopping out. He threw Raymond a towel and dried himself off, paying close attention and making sure his hair is dry. "Someone wants to go to school." Raymond said.

Gideon shook his head fiercely and said, "No, I want to see our babies before we leave."

Gideon practically ran out of the bathroom and to his dresser drawer. He picked out a pair of black pants and a plain, blood red t-shirt. He picked something up out of the bottom of the drawer and grinned. He finished off his outfit with the golden wolf necklace.

He walked over to Raymond as he pulled the black t-shirt over his head and picked up the silver dragon necklace out of the top drawer. He fastened it around Raymond's neck and grinned. "It's chilly outside." Gideon said as he gave Raymond a jacket.

Raymond recognized it as his letter jacket from last year and looked at him with a puzzled look. "Why your letter jacket?"

"So everyone knows your mine." Gideon said with a grin. "Plus, I couldn't wear it if I wanted to."

Raymond smiled and put it on. They walked upstairs to the nursery and check on their babies. Gideon smiled at Zandra and Zakai when he saw them awake in their cribs, lying there without making a sound. "Our children are weird." Raymond said.

Gideon laughed, "And they need changed."

Raymond grimaced but picked Zandra up and put her on the changing table. Gideon did the same for Zakai and they quickly changed the babies before putting them back in their cribs. Gideon hummed until they fell asleep and kissed each one on the forehead before taking Raymond's arm and pulling him out of the nursery. "So, do you want to wake up Clarice or should I fly us?"

Raymond grinned, "I want to fly."

Gideon grinned back and they walked out the door. Gideon picked Raymond up and Raymond clung onto his neck tightly. Gideon took off and flew in the direction of the school. "Have you seen the new school?" Gideon asked him over the roar of the wind.

Raymond shook his head, "I was still pregnant during school registration and Carol didn't want them to see me."

Gideon nodded and said, "Well, you should be able to see it in a moment."

Raymond looked down and saw the school. His jaw dropped in amazement. The new high school was huge, it had big glass windows that were clear as crystal and the parking lot was fresh asphalt. Gideon took them down and landed in front of the school. Gideon put his arm around Raymond as Raymond's legs stopped wobbling. Gideon kissed Raymond once and said, "Your first look at our new school."

Gideon looked at his schedule and dragged Raymond towards their first class. They got stares as they walked through the halls together. They got to their first class and walked in. They spotted Dean, Xatrin, Paulie, and Kevin and sat down next to them. "This year is so much better." Gideon said as he sat down.

Xatrin grinned and said, "Of course it is."

Gideon smiled and said, "How is Jasmine?"

Paulie laughed and said, "Good, but her crying is starting to drive Dean insane."

"So your parents really did make Dean move in?" Raymond asked.

Paulie nodded as Dean grimaced, "Her parents are evil on the highest level." Dean said,

Paulie laughed, "That they are, but it's better than the option of never seeing you again. Besides, if you hadn't moved in my parents wouldn't have watched Jasmine and I would have been forced to drop out."

Dean sighed and said, "It's weird being a father but only being a sophomore."

Paulie nodded, "It's the same for being a mother."

Gideon looked at Paulie for a moment and a thought struck him, "You know, you're two years older than I am Paulie. Why are you only a sophomore?"

Paulie blushed and stammered, "W-well I uhh... I uhh failed third grade and fifth grade."

"Well," Dean said, "that's good, cause if you hadn't I never would have met you, and we wouldn't have a beautiful baby girl."

"That is true." Paulie said with a smile.

"I don't get why we have to come to Algebra 2 on the first day, all we're doing is getting our supplies list." Raymond said suddenly.''

Gideon laughed and said, "Change of subject?"

Raymond nodded, "It's a weird conversation to have during school."

Gideon smiled, "Alright. I hope you know us having children isn't gonna be secret for long."

Raymond looked puzzled, "Why?"

"Because there were news reporters at the hospital the day they were born and unfortunately they got pictures of our children. I'm surprised they haven't put it in a headline yet." Gideon explained.

Raymond sighed, "Figures that our children are going to have a news headline before they can lift their heads."

Gideon was looking around now, glaring at eavesdroppers. "We got put in a class that's mostly juniors." Gideon said with a sigh.

"How can you tell?" Raymond asked.

"Their IDs, duh." Gideon said.

"Oh ya." Raymond said.

The teacher came in then, a black and orange tiger that was about 6' 2", and wrote his name on the board. After that he started to write all the supplies they would need for that class. A compass, pencils, paper, and a protractor. "So, what was the point in this?" Gideon asked as he turned around to talk to his friends again.

Kevin shrugged his shoulders and said, "At least it's only a half day today."

Gideon nodded, "True. But this class was still pointless."

The teacher dismissed them shortly after and they walked to their next class. "Seriously, today is so pointless. We don't need anything besides a pencil and paper in any class except math." Gideon groaned.

"We're also getting our books." Raymond said as he picked up a biology book.

"Ok, this day is still pointless." Gideon said as he flipped through the pages. "We could be at home with our babies but no, we're stuck here."

Raymond laughed, "Anxious to see our babies again?"

Gideon nodded, "Aren't you?"

Raymond nodded, "Yes, I am, I just know that your mom can take care of them while we're at school."

Gideon sighed and said, "You're right, I guess."

Raymond kissed him and said, "Of course I'm right."

They were getting stares from almost everyone in the classroom. Gideon glared around at everyone and they turned back to what they were doing. "Well, I can still scare people." Gideon said.

Raymond laughed, "You could probably beat up half the seniors in the school if you wanted to."

"He probably could." Dean said.

"You two always start having conversations without us." Paulie said, "You really need to stop that."

Gideon laughed and Raymond blushed, "We're not the only ones. Kevin and Xatrin do sometimes."

Kevin and Xatrin stopped whispering to each other then and Xatrin blushed. Kevin stuck out his tongue and said, "We can't have our own private conversations?"

"You can do that at home," Dean said, "since you two have a room to yourselves now that I was forced to move in with Paulie."

"Is it really that bad?" Paulie asked, hurt in her voice.

Dean shook his head vigorously, "Of course not, but your parents are so annoying."

Paulie grinned, "Now that, is absolutely natural."

Raymond shook his head, "Not for me. I think Carol and Ron are awesome."

"That's cause dad is never home and mom is always trying to take pictures of us with our babies." Gideon said. "We've already got a full album or two."

Raymond laughed, "Did I tell you guys about the look the pharmacist gave her when she handed them four rolls of film?"

Paulie laughed, "She went to the pharmacy for that? Normally people go to Wal Mart when they have more than one roll."

Raymond nodded, "She had to pick up some medicine any ways. But God that pharmacist glared bloody murder at her."

"I could imagine." Paulie said.

"And she has..." Gideon started but the teacher dismissing them cut him off. "She has fourteen more unused rolls to use before she gives up."

Paulie laughed as they walked out of the classroom, "I'm happy my mom isn't that psycho."

Dean took his turn to laugh and said, "Oh ya, she's totally sane." in a sarcastic voice.

Kevin, Xatrin, Gideon, and Raymond all laughed and Paulie just punched Dean on the arm. "She's not that bad."

"To you maybe." Dean said, "She might as well be my mother-in-law the way she treats me."

Paulie laughed, "I think she's planning on that."

Dean groaned, "Oh ya, she's already asked my parents, even though I refuse to talk to them."

Paulie patted him on the shoulder, "They care about you at least, it's..." she trailed off as she remembered the other people. She shot an apologetic look at Kevin had his head lowered with Xatrin having his arm around his shoulder and glaring at Paulie.

"Good job Paulie." Xatrin said sharply, the anger giving his voice an icy edge.

Kevin sighed, "She's right though. My parents couldn't care less about me."

Gideon patted Kevin on the back under Xatrin's arm, "Come on, you still have Xatrin at least."

Kevin looked up and grinned, kissing Xatrin before saying, "That I do."

Xatrin smiled at him, "Ok, so, what class do we have next?"

Gideon looked down at his schedule, "We have Web Design. Seriously, this class doesn't even need supplies."

Paulie thought for a moment, "Why did I take web design? I hate computers."

Gideon said, "I don't know, I thought it was along the lines of staying near Dean."

Paulie laughed, "Oh ya, isn't that why we all took the same classes?"

Dean nodded, "That's why I took Home Ec, I hate cooking, sewing and just about everything that that class teaches."

They walked into the classroom and the teacher came in, grumbling about having to work today even though he didn't have to do anything, told them to do whatever they wanted. Gideon just turned to Raymond and said, "At least this is the last class."

Raymond nodded, "The classes we actually don't know what supplies we need are the classes we didn't have today."

Gideon grinned, "I can guess at what we need."

Raymond nodded, "The supplies are obvious but still. We should have had those classes today."

"I'm actually starting to wonder why they stopped just giving us a supplies list like they used to." Gideon said, "It saved us all this trouble."

Raymond nodded, "I never got a supplies list, where I used to live we did this every year."

"Where did you live before here any ways?" Gideon said, "The question never occurred to me before."

Raymond groaned, "It's a question I would have preferred you didn't ask."

"Why?" Gideon asked.

"Because, I hate where I used to live and I don't even want to remember it." Raymond said.

"Alright, if you don't want to talk about it I won't ask the question." Gideon said, "I don't want to make my wolf uncomfortable."

People were staring at him as he said that and he glared at them. "Jeez, I can't believe there are so many new kids." Raymond said.

Gideon laughed and said, "The school is three different cities now."

Raymond nodded, "There are still way to many kids here."

Gideon grinned, "Just more fights I'll end up breaking up by the end of the year. There are going to be tons."

"I don't think they can really be called fights." Raymond said, "Normally its a group of jocks picking on one kid."

"Ok fine, but I don't know what to call them besides fights." Gideon said, "But what I do know, is that I'll break up everyone I see."

Raymond grinned, "Yes, yes you will." Raymond looked at the clock and started tapping his foot, "Jeez, ten minutes and we get to go home and see our children."

Gideon laughed, "Now who's anxious?"

"I am, but you can't blame me." Raymond said, "You were almost as anxious as I am."

Gideon nodded, "I still am. I just don't show it."

"You did two classes ago." Raymond said, "And I was the patient one."

Gideon laughed again as the teacher dismissed them. "Come on, let's go." Gideon said, dragging Raymond.

They were practically running down the hall towards the stairs and Gideon tripped over his feet at the last moment, letting go of Raymond's hand so Raymond didn't go with him. Raymond cried out in surprise and rushed down the stairs to where Gideon was now lying unconscious. "Shit!" Raymond yelled when he saw that Gideon was unconscious.

There was a crowd at the top of the stairs as they debated to come down or not. A teacher came out the door and started to ask why they were all standing around and then came down the stairs to kneel next to Gideon, "We need to call an ambulance."

Raymond dug into Gideon's pockets and did just that, then sat waiting for what felt like hours. Finally he heard the annoying wailing from the ambulance, which seemed more like a beautiful song to Raymond, pull into the parking lot. People were standing all around Gideon before Raymond knew it and they were putting him on a stretcher, taking him to the ambulance.

Raymond had asked if he could ride along with the ambulance but they had denied, saying that the ambulance would already be cramped with all of the people there working. Raymond started to tear up as he dialed Carol's number on the cell phone he had in his hand. "H-hey Carol, can you c-come pick me up?" Raymond asked, tears rolling down his muzzle.

"Sure, why?" Carol asked.

"G-gideon f-fell down the stairs, h-he's on his way to the h-hospital." Raymond said, sobs making his shoulders rise and fall.

"Oh god I'll be there right away." Carol said as she hung up.

Raymond just sat on a bench and waited, still crying. Kids walked around him and he continued to wait until there were almost no kids there. Carol finally pulled into the parking lot and he rushed to her car and asked, "What took so long?"

"I'm sorry, no one else was home. I had to bring the babies." Carol said.

Raymond looked in the back and sure enough behind each seat were one of their car seats. He sneaked back between them and a smile came to his lips as he buckled the seat belt and kissed each of them on the forehead.

Carol was driving pretty quickly, heading towards the hospital. "What exactly happened?" Carol asked about halfway there.

"We were just running down the hall and Gideon tripped over his feet." Raymond said.

Carol sighed and said, "We're almost to the hospital."

Raymond started muttering to himself until they pulled into the parking lot. He jumped into the front seat and got out. He unbuckled one of the car seats and smiled at Zandra. Carol unbuckled Zakai's car seat, to slow for Raymond's liking of course, and they walked inside the hospital.

Raymond was still crying so Carol asked, "What room is Gideon Restin in?"

The nurse looked up and asked, "Relations?"

Carol sighed and said, "I'm his mother, this is his boyfriend, and these are his children."

The nurse told them what room Gideon was in and they quickly walked to it. Raymond was humming the babies' lullaby as best as he could, mostly to keep himself calm but also to stop the two babies from crying.

They got to Gideon's room and walked in, Raymond's frown turned into a smile when he saw Gideon sitting up and talking to a doctor. Raymond put Zandra down and walked over to Gideon, "Hey hun."

Gideon looked at him, confusion on his face, and asked, "Who are you?"
