Nate Encounters Boris

Nate the Jackal has found himself in trouble, and must face off against a foe who seems strange.

Nate was walking through a small forest, not going anywhere in particular. The trees were tall and grew close enough to prevent anyone from camping in the forest. The sun's light seeped through the treetops, the trees' green leaves block a lot of sunlight; however, there was enough light for the jackal to see where he was going. He ignored the life that lurked and moved in the forest as he steered himself around the skinny, brown trees to avoid crashing into them. It was cool in the forest as a gentle breeze blew through it, the tree tops swaying. In the close distance, Nate saw buildings and headed towards it.

Nate arrived at a town when he exited the forest. The people looked extravagant as they walked, through the streets of the quaint town. He stepped on the road, which was paved with images of famous people, and it was surprisingly soft. It was as if it were made of Marshmallows. The city had no cars or light posts, but it did have carriages pulled by horses. Everyone walked in complete silence, the only sound coming from the horses and the carriages they pulled. The birds and insects themselves were keeping quiet as well, though it did not matter to Nate that everyone there kept to themselves. Nate did notice that nobody stopped to talk to each other, and they only blinked and turned to head in another direction. Nate decided he would turn directions to and head to a bar for a drink or two.

When he walked into the bar, he saw it was filled with Herculean men. They took a drink from their mugs at irregular intervals, but made no conversations with one another. The bartender, who smelled of vodka, paid no attention to his new customer. Instead, he stood behind the counter, drying off a beer mug with a towel. Nate rung a bell, which caused the bartender to side step until he was in front of the jackal. The bartender looked down at Nate, waiting for him to order his drink, and after his customer made his drink, the bartender completed it silently, handing the drink to Nate. The bar was the least place Nate would suspect to be quiet, though he was not planning on making it rowdy. He took a drink of his drink after he paid for it, when something attacked.

It was a flying creature that had three dark yellow colored eyes on its forehead. It had no legs, and its arms were as short as a twelve inch ruler. It had shot a grenade into the bar with its funnel like mouth. Nate quickly kicked the grenade outside before it exploded. The creature fired three more grenades at Nate while the patrons of the bar sat quietly, unflinching as they drank their beers in their wooden chairs. Nate ducked behind the bar as the grenades exploded. The Blue furred jackal, pulled out a handgun and quickly stood to shoot the grey creature, but it had gone as if it was never there. He saw that everyone remained in their seats as if nothing had happened, and he was beginning to think that the town was an illusion. He pointed a gun at the bartender and shot him in the head. The bartender fell backwards, dead and with a bullet in his brain. His dark, red blood shined in the light as it trickled down his head and onto the floor. The burly men still sat and drank as if nothing happened, so Nate decided to examine the dead man on the floor, but the body was gone. Not even a trail of blood was made. It was best to leave the "bar" and go elsewhere. When he went outside, he saw it.

It was the creature who had attacked him in the bar, and it was eating people. It swallowed them whole, making bulges after being swallowed, but the bulges soon disappeared. No one ran or screamed when they were devoured, but Nate was going to fight, especially since it was going after him next. It shot a grenade at the blue-eyed humanoid and missed because the dog-faced male dodged it. Nate pulled out his gun and fired at the creature, but it just shook it off, the bullet not having caused any damage. The monster shot a grenade at Nate, who kicked it back, having the idea to make it eat its grenades, but the monster dodged. The monster shot another grenade, and Nate shot the monster before kicking the grenade, thus, causing the monster to swallow it and then explode. The monster had died, and Nate was victorious; however, the people stopped, looked at him, and jeered.

Nate ignored the rude townsfolk and started to walk away from them to leave their town, but someone had stopped him. He turned around and told the guy to not touch him, but the guy refused to listen. Nate had gotten into another fight, the guy having pulled out a knife on Nate. He tried to stab the triangular-eared visitor, but nate was too fast. He broke his attacker's arm and warned him, but he didn't listen. The attacker attacked again, but Nate pulled out a gun and shot him. The attacker fell down dead, and the watchers began to circle him. Nate was about to kill more of them, but they started acting they way they were when he first came. There was one man, though, who was not behaving like them. He was watching Nate the entire time the guest had arrived.

The man had light green eyes, and his hair was brown and wavy as if it were a stream making turns. He casually approached Nate and introduced himself as as escapee. Nate asked why everyone was behaving oddly, and why the man was not behaving like the others. The man took him to a secluded area where not many people knew about, and the people who did know about it were dead. He told Nate the story of what happened and why everything was the way it was. He informed Nate the monster he killed worked for the man responsible for the curse upon the people and asked him remove or kill the one responsible for it. "It'll cost you," Nate said, answering the man, who seemed oddly un-interested in saving everyone. The man nodded and agreed to pay him. The man paid his partner in full, knowing that the two would likely never to see or hear from each other ever again. The man lead Nate to a golden castle where the evil man lived.

Nate entered the castle and looked around. At the opposite end of the room, there were stairs that went to the second floor. The carpet he stood on was soft and a bright red, embroidered at the edges with golden thread. It had two doors to the left and the right on the first floor. On the second floor, there were two doors as well. The rest of the castle had many corridors, and rooms, and one of them was bound to have the owner of the castle in it, though Nate wasn't sure how to get to it. He would have to just make his way up and explore the castle.

As Nate walked to the center of the room, the iron doors to the castle slammed shut. Nate didn't jump or show any kind of fear. He was more concerned on whether or not to kill any other monsters on his way to the master. He looked at each of the doors on the first floor and then looked up at the door across the staircase on the second floor. He thought he should go up, and only kill monsters if they got in his way. He went up the stairs, moving quickly to avoid wasting any time. He took a deep breath and opened the door, preparing himself for what might be ahead.

It was just a corridor, a passageway that lead deeper into the castle. He followed it until he came to a silver door. He opened it and entered a room that had suits of armor that stood in each of the four corners. They each reflected light from the chandelier that hung from the middle of the ceiling, and they each held a different weapon, but Nate eyed the sword. After looking around the room, he went through more corridors, making his way ever closer to his target, he had hoped. As he pushed forward, he had found a little door that was covered in fancy decoration. When he opened the door, he was happy and repulsed by what he saw.

It was Boris who was practicing yoga while naked. He looked at Nate and frowned. "You could have knocked, you know," he said before standing up. Nate chose to ignore the fact that Boris was naked. "Why did you put a spell on the people from town?" Nate asked in a demanding tone of voice. He walked towards Boris, who smiled sadistically. "They were being mean and abused my friends when we came to visit," Boris said. It was a lie. The reason why he placed a spell on the townsfolk was because he wanted to. "Don't lie to me," Nate said. "Darn, and it took me three hours to come up with it." Boris had lied yet again. He began to stretch, still naked. Nate looked at Boris, who had muscles, but not very large ones. "Remove the spell, now," Nate demanded. Boris then sat in the air with his legs crossed, smirking at the intruder. "What will you do if I don't?" he asked, floating in the air. "I'll kill you," he said as he pulled out a gun. Boris stopped sitting in the air and stood on the ground. "Let's have at it then," he said.

Nate fired a few rounds on Boris, but the Blue pointy eared man seemed unphased by Nate's attack. "That hurts, you know, but it's not enough to kill me," Boris said. He pulled back his arm and tried to hit Nate, but the male, dodged the attack and countered with a flip. Boris ended up on his back after being flipped, but he quickly managed to get to his feet. Nate went to go for an attack, but Boris disappeared. He reappeared behind Nate and kicked him in the butt, and it annoyed him. "Fight me like a man, and stop hiding!" He ordered, and black smoke came from the walls and gathered in the center of the room. They swirled until Boris was standing in place of the smoke. The evil deity was going in for a quick attack, and just as he was about to come into contact, he disappeared again. Nate looked around, even more annoyed.

"It's tea time," Boris said as he reappeared wearing a white dress. The dress was poofy at the shoulders, and he had silver gloves, which were soft and went passed his elbows to his braichiarm. He had a clear tea pot that had a pale yellow liquid and some stuff floating around in it in one hand, and in another, a tea strainer.A table slowly rose from the ground in back of him, and the table had a brown straw basket full of blueberry muffins in the center of it, and on two end, white tea cups. Boris twirled around, and walked around the table. "want some tea?" he asked seductively to Nate. Nate stood in disbelief at what he was seeing. Boris was in white, high heeled shoes and pouring to into the tea strainer, which allowed the tea to flow into the tea cup without the solid substance. "Well?" Boris asked, waiting for an answer from Nate. "You're fucking kidding me!" Nate exclaimed. He wanted to attack Boris, but he was dumbfounded either by Boris' idiocy or disregard of the situation at hand. He couldn't believe at how stupid Boris was for taking a break in the middle of a death match to have some tea. "I'll take that silence as a no," he said as he stopped pouring the tea and placed the tea pot next to the muffins. "I usually have scones, but I decided to go for muffins instead," Boris explained as he sat down. Nate scowled at Boris, but was unable to make himself move. He face palmed himself. Never had he fought against anyone who took a break from a death fight, but now Boris was the first. He was unable to contemplate how stupid Boris is. "You don't fucking stop in the middle of a death fight, you stupid piece cunt!" Nate yelled, now forcing himself to walk towards the table. He pounded his fist on the table while Boris calmly and quietly drank his tea. It then occurred to him that the tea was poisoned, and that Boris was trying to kill him with poison. "You fucking idiot. What the hell are you doing poison for?" he asked calmly. "It's not poison. It's white tea, and I am immune to poison," Boris said, sitting his cup down and grabbing a muffin. He bit into it and chewed on the muffin blissfully, savoring the flavor. "I made these better than last time," he said. after swallowing the piece of muffin in his mouth. He then consumed the rest of the muffin slowly while drinking the tea. After he was finished, he stood up. "You should have had some," he said making the table, tea set, and muffins disappear. Boris was ready to fight again, now that tea time was over. The two began to battle again once more.

Boris used an attack the cause Nate to fly through the door and down the corridor. It seemed that Boris was weak against quick, physical attacks, so Nate was thinking of a plan. He ran away from Boris, who was roller skating behind him to catch up. Boris held his dress up all around so the wheels wouldn't catch onto the dress and trip him. Nate needed to get the jump on Boris as soon as possible to get some hits on him. Boris was catching up to Nate, and that was when he had an idea. He continued to run as fast as he could as soon as if he were trying to escape wile Boris was ever so closer. "I'm catching up to you," the blue elfish man called out to Nate. As soon as Boris was close enough, Nate quickly jumped back, knocking Boris down. Nate fell down too, but he knew he would fall down with him. He kept hitting Boris in the face, but Boris sunk into the floor, causing the wolf faced man to hit the hard floor. Nate got up and rubbed his elbow, but then, he heard rumbling. He looked up to see part of the ceiling coming down to crush him, so he ran. He leaped and dove to safety as the ceiling came down. It had fallen through the floor, making a hole in it. Nate then heard singing and saw Boris performing ballet in a pink ballerina outfit, complete with a pink tu-tu. Nate went to attack him, but found the Boris he had attacked was not solid and was fake. He turned around in time to see a foot in a pink ballerina shoe hit him in the eye. It hurt Nate, but he went to push through it because his life was dependant on it. Boris began to sing a song, now wearing the white clothes he wore during tea time, only this time, he had an umbrella.

Boris pointed the umbrella at Nate. The evil man began to be pulled by the umbrella towards Nate, his toes touching the ground, but his heels off of it. Nate pulled out again and fired at Boris, but Boris opened his umbrella. The umbrella protected Boris, but as the bulls vanished, the umbrella began to have black burn marks. Boris was pulled faster towards his strong opponent, and a blade began to protrude from the white umbrella. Soon, other blades popped out of the umbrella, which Boris began to spin quickly. Nate turned and ran to keep a distance between him and his foe, whom he had no idea how to defeat. The blades returned into the umbrella, and Boris began to dance and sing. Boris took the time to fire at his foe while Boris danced his way to Nate. Nate ran out of bullets, so he threw the gun at boris who turned the umbrella into a baseball bat and hit the gun. The gun turned into a giant boulder and began to roll towards Nate, who turned around and ran from it to avoid being crushed to death. He was running out of breath; fortunately he found he had three paths. One went right, one went left, and one went right. Nate chose to go right because if he had gone any other way, he would have been crushed to death. Nate found a door that was boarded up, and a sign outside that said "DO NOT OPEN!" Nate went to open it anyways. When Boris arrived, the evil man began to panic. "Don't open the door!" Boris said frantically. He dropped the umbrella and waved his hands side to side and shook his head no. Nate id not listen, and seeing Boris reaction, what lay behind the door could help him. Then he thought of when Nate lied to him. He took the chance of the danger behind the door, and broke of the boards. Monsters arrived to aid Boris, but when they saw Nate break the boards off, they ran. Boris ran away as well when the door broke open and a bunch of hammers came flooding out.

The door was soon pushed up and Nate began to stand up and kept his balance on the door to keep it from sinking into the hammers. He saw Boris running away, scared, and Nate smirked at him. He carefully picked up a hammer and threw it in front of Boris, who tripped over it and got swept away with the hammers as they engulfed him. He began to get his, and soon got a bruised and hurt. He was suffering a lot from the hammers. The bullets were nowhere as painful as the hammers. He had never felt this much pain in his life except when a hammer fell on him. After the hammers stopped moving, Nate fell down onto the ground. He went back to Boris and found that only his hand was unburied by all the hammers. "Remove the spell on the townsfolk," he ordered. After several seconds, Boris lifted his middle finger to Nate before going limp again.

Nate turned and left the castle after Boris' hand went limp. He returned to the town and saw that everyone walked and talked to each other. The people laughed and cried and yelled. It was all as it should be, all because of Nate forcing Boris to He went to his secret weapon vault and wrote "STock up on hammers too," on a wall. He then left the secret vault and went to get something to eat. He had not eaten at all ever since he woke up that morning.
