Prologue: A Recap to what has happened so Far
#1 of A Dragon's Final Song
So this is it, the Prologue to the final story for Seraphor, my first character, which, by any chance, is not original anymore, with so many crossovers.
With so many things on tow, I have a feeling that sooner or later I won't be able to keep up with uploading some more stories. I realized both 'The Dragon's Warrior' and 'Wolves' Legacy' had become stagnant. It's not like I lost interest on that particular story. I don't have any inspiration. Some of you might know that my "Draconian-in-Space" is not the best idea at all. This project is a side project and may be the start of new spin-offs.
Anyway, this story revisited my original concept of dragon fantasy with some taste of supernatural. It's supposed to be lighter in tone than the high-level violence of the previous stories, so it is like the PG-13 of the previous R. Still, expect some tone of violence for some flavor. This is but a prologue.

The Earth, the world known as the home of the dragons and other unknown mythical creatures, is a big place, with countless stories told every day. Legends, myths, news, and stories contributed to the vastness of this world and its mysteries. Yet one story remained to be the biggest story the world had ever known, as it will be recorded in the histories of all the races involved. The events, known to the dragons and the humans as the War of the Darkness, created what the world has known, as a big faction war is happening, ever since the seed of hate and anger is sown for many years ago.
The Anti-dragons, recently known as the Dragonsbane, is always in the losing side, due to the great assets the pro-dragons, led by the Order of the Dragons, have. In particular, a great young dragon, with great silver scales decorated with red stripes, known to be the greatest dragon ever lived, and the only known user of the four main elements of nature coming from the earth. His exploits during the war were extraordinary in its own rights, beginning with the defeat of the renegade dragons and the reformation of the Order of the Dragon, which had granted peace to the war-stricken Western Region of the Main continent. But then, one day, he vanished, without a trace, and it was considered as a very great loss to the pro-dragons, so great that it made everything the dragon had accomplished simply crumbled away. The Order was under siege, the old dragon city was destroyed, and for the first time ever, the Anti-dragons reformed themselves in unison, becoming what was known as the Dragonsbane.
Yet, the long wait was over, when one day, 100 years after his disappearance, did he returned, along with new allies. His return boosted the morale the dragons had long lost, and since then, the Dragonsbane became desperate, and it culminated with his capture.
Despite of his apparent defeat, the dragon was still strong, and he instilled his optimism to the dragon compound where the dragons had long lost their hopes. He helped them regained their pride and rekindled their flames. He ended the feud between two dragon tribes, gaining their trusts and allegiance. His actions in the same compound had devastated everything the dragonsbane had accomplished, which was a wicked way to force dragons to do their biddings.
Since then, the Dragonsbane was too weak to even make retaliation, and the dragons were able to live in peace, with no war, no conflicts, though there were occasional disturbances.
But then, the Region were still restless, and it was only time when peace will be disturbed, the war will happen again, and sacrifices be made.
This is the story of Seraphor, the silver red dragon who will know the first and the worst pain he will ever felt, as it will be the final song.
