My next chapter :) I think this one is considerably long, maybe my longest yet. All the legal stuff etc. Let's get to the chapter!

**

Raymond opened his eyes slowly and he smelled pinesol. He sat up and stretched and felt stitches pull at his stomach and he groaned in pain. Gideon sat up from the chair next to the bed and beamed at Raymond. "Hey hun."

Raymond smiled, "Hey sweetie."

A nurse came in and grinned at the two and asked Raymond, "Would you like to see your children."

Raymond nodded vigorously and the nurse turned around and started to take the blankets off of the two babies very gently. "What do they look like?" Raymond asked.

Gideon grinned, "They look like there mother mixed with me. You'll see. They're so beautiful."

The nurse turned around with Raymond's baby boy and girl. "Be careful." The nurse said as she placed the two in the crooks Raymond made his arms into.

Raymond stared at the two babies in his arm, "They are beautiful."

The two babies that were sleeping in Raymond's arms were small wolves that had white scales with the fur growing out of the scales and covering them up to make it seem like there weren't any scales. They had small wings that mimicked Gideon's except smaller and a wolf tail. Zandra had beautiful, deep violet eyes and Zakai had yellow eyes like Gideon's except they were wolf eyes with yellow irises.

Gideon grinned at Raymond and said, "Our children. Our children! We're parents Raymond. And you know what, Paulie just gave birth a few hours ago."

Raymond smiled at Gideon and said, "What does her child look like?"

Gideon grinned, "Her little girl is beautiful too. She looks just like her mother but she has darker fur. Dean was so excited."

"Where's your mom?" Raymond asked.

Gideon smiled, "She was at Aunt Lizzy's again. She and dad are on their way right now."

As he said that Carol came into the room quietly and smiled at Raymond. She came over to stand behind him and said, "They're beautiful. May I hold Zandra?"

Raymond nodded and she carefully took the small baby girl. Ron stood next to Raymond and Raymond asked, "Do you want to hold Zakai?"

Ron smiled and said, "I don't trust myself. I still haven't fully recovered from that heart attack."

Gideon walked over and said, "I'd like to hold him."

Gideon picked up the little boy very carefully and held him gently. Clarice walked in and glared, "Nobody wanted to tell me? Came home from my first day of college not knowing where anyone is until I see a note that's sitting at the bottom of the stairs."

Carol smiled at her, a whole hearted smile. "Do you want to hold Zandra?"

Clarice looked at Raymond a smile lighting up her features suddenly. "May I?"

Raymond nodded. Clarice walked over quietly and took Zandra from Carol. Clarice stared down at the little baby with a smile on her face, "She looks so much like you Raymond."

Zandra and Zakai woke up, their eyes opening. They started to cry loudly and Clarice and Gideon started trying to calm them down. Gideon started to hum a song that Clarice or anyone else in the room besides Raymond had ever heard before and the babies calmed down. Now they were quietly cooing at the people holding them. They passed the babies back to Raymond who took them and caressed them lovingly.

A nurse came in with two warm bottles and smiled again, "I think it's time they were fed." The nurse said.

Raymond nodded and said, "Their father and I will do so."

Gideon beamed at the word father, he still couldn't believe it. He picked up Zandra and sat down, he took one of the bottles and held it up for Zandra. She started to suckle on it and Gideon smiled down at his baby girl. Raymond was doing the same for Zakai. Soon the two babies were done and Gideon and Raymond were doing their best to burp them without hurting them.

Clarice and Carol shook their heads and said in unison, "Let me see her." Clarice said it the same except she said, "him."

Gideon unwillingly passed his beautiful baby girl to his mother and she gently burped her before passing her back. "See, it's not that hard."

Gideon wanted to glare at her but today was a wonderful day and he couldn't bring himself to do it. "August fourth 2010. Our beautiful children were born." Gideon said.

Raymond smiled, "Fourteen days after your birthday and twenty-four before mine."

Gideon grinned and sat down on the bed next to Raymond. "I think it's time we put them back in the cribs for now." Gideon said.

Raymond nodded and yawned, "Apparently being knocked out by medical means isn't as restful as normal sleep." Gideon smiled as he placed Zandra in the crib in then turned back to pick up Zakai and do the same.

"Well, at least the birth certificates are all taken care of." Gideon said, "Now, if you want some sleep I actually wanted to go talk to Paulie."

Raymond nodded and said, "You do that."

Raymond laid his head down onto the pillow and closed his eyes. He fell asleep quickly and Gideon smiled. Gideon bent his head down and kissed Raymond's forehead. He walked out of the room pushing the rest of the people out as well. "He deserves to sleep." Gideon said.

Gideon walked down the hall to where Paulie was and knocked. He heard a faint, "Come in." and he opened the door and stepped inside quickly.

"Hi there." Gideon said as he walked over. Paulie was holding her baby girl and said, "She looks like her mother with her father's eyes and fur."

Paulie grinned and said, "What do your children look like."

Gideon smiled and said, "Oh god, they're hard to describe. They are just so beautiful. Where's Dean?"

Paulie laughed, "There's a story. He's probably in the cafeteria staring into a cup of coffee."

Gideon grinned, "I'm going to go find him."

Paulie grinned, "Slap him for me."

"Why?" Gideon asked.

"Because he didn't stay in here the whole time, I only got to break his hand for two minutes." Paulie said.

Gideon laughed and said, "I'll slap him."

He walked out and walked down to the cafeteria and sure enough Dean was sitting, staring into a cup of coffee. He walked up and slapped him and grinned. "That was from Paulie."

Dean rubbed his face and said, "Why?"

"Because you only let her break your hand for two minutes." Gideon said. He patted Dean on the back and said, "Cheer up Dean, we're fathers man."

Dean grinned and said, "I'm excited. I'm just tired."

Gideon laughed, "Take a drink of that coffee while I go get some for myself."

Gideon went to get some coffee before sitting down next to Dean. Wyatt and Troy came in and sat next to them. "Congratulations. Both of you." Wyatt said and hugged Gideon and shook Dean's hand.

"Are you excited about being an uncle Wyatt?" Gideon said.

Wyatt nodded and said, "Of course."

"Have you seen Zandra and Zakai yet?" Gideon asked.

Wyatt shook his head and Gideon stood up, "Come on Dean, I'm sure you would like to see them too."

Dean nodded, "I would like to see my friends children."

Gideon beamed, "I won't be used to being a father for a while."

"Neither will I." Dean said.

They took the elevator up to the floor and walked to Raymond's room and Gideon told them to stay quiet. They walked in silently and Gideon smiled at Raymond before moving over to the crib and looking in at his children. Dean, Wyatt, and Troy did the same and Wyatt and Troy beamed at the two babies and Dean's breath caught. "They're beautiful." Dean said, "There is just no way to describe them beyond that."

Gideon nodded, "Have you seen your child?"

Dean nodded, "She's beautiful too. My little Jasmine."

Gideon nodded and started to hum quietly. The tune continued on, a slow melody and a wonderful sound. "Are you humming?" Wyatt asked.

Gideon nodded again and said, "Yes, I'm humming my beautiful children's lullaby."

Troy said, "It's doing it's job. I'm tired now."

Gideon laughed quietly, "My music apparently has qualities that puts everyone to sleep."

"Alright, I don't want to wake Raymond up. Time to go." Gideon said, pushing the other people out in front of him.

Dean glared at him as he tripped out the door but Gideon smiled back. "Why are you smiling?"

"Because today is the happiest day of my life." Gideon said, "And I can't make a glare appear on my face if I wanted to."

Dean laughed softly and said, "Today is the happiest day of my life too, but I can't bring myself to do anything but yawn."

"You don't have to stay here ya know. Paulie will understand." Gideon said.

Dean smiled, "Will you tell her for me?"

"Why don't you do it?" Gideon asked, "She's in there with your baby girl."

"Oh, when I left the room she was asleep." Dean said. "Oh well, I'll go talk to her."

Dean walked off and Gideon, Wyatt, and Troy went to join their mother and father in the waiting room. Gideon slumped into a chair next to his mother and put his head on her shoulder. "Jeez, I'm tired."

Carol patted his back and said, "It's a big day. You can sleep if you want."

Gideon smiled and closed his eyes, his head still on her shoulder. He started to snore quietly and Carol laughed. Ron stood up and kissed Carol before kissing Gideon on the forehead. "I can't ever believe I even wanted to kick my own son out for being gay." Ron said, disgust at himself lacing his voice with an icy edge.

Carol looked at him and said, "You grew up that way, no one could blame you."

Ron sighed, "I could blame me. Oh well, it's over and done with and I can't love my son more than I do at this moment."

Carol smiled and started to run her hand through Gideon's hair. "He acts so much older than he already is."

Ron nodded and sat down on Gideon's other side. "He does. To much emotional stress."

Carol sighed and looked across the room where Troy and Wyatt were sitting, playing cards with Clarice and occasionally kissing each other. "We have five kids living with us and four are in a relationship with each other. It makes me wonder if true love isn't easier to find then we thought it was."

Ron smiled and kissed her, "We found ours and our kids found theirs."

They sat in silence as the clock ticked by. After about an hour of sitting in silence Gideon woke up and yawned. "How long did I sleep?"

"Not long enough." Carol said, "You only slept for an hour."

Gideon sighed, "Do you know when they're going to let Raymond out? Or have they not told us yet?"

Carol smiled, "They are going to let him and Zandra and Zakai out tomorrow."

Gideon yawned and said, "Great. I owe him a date anyways."

Carol laughed and said, "You might want to wait for him to fully recover first."

Gideon nodded and said, "Do you think he would want something to eat now? I could run and get something besides hospital food."

Carol smiled again and said, "He probably would."

Gideon said, "Can I borrow some money? I left my wallet at home."

Carol fished out her wallet and gave him ten bucks and he said, "Thanks." and went outside and took off, heading towards a fast food place.

Carol smiled at Ron and scooted over putting her head on his chest. Ron looked down and said, "You haven't done this in a while."

Carol laughed and said, "I'm a grandmother to three children now, I need to feel young."

Ron laughed now and said, "I'll take you out tomorrow night."

Carol grinned, "Good."

A moment later Gideon came back and Carol sat up and said, "That was fast."

Gideon grinned, "I can fly fast. Do you think he's awake?"

"Go check." Carol said.

Gideon walked out of the waiting room and down the hall to where Raymond and his children were. He opened the door and grinned when he saw Raymond sitting up in his bed. Raymond smiled when Gideon walked in and said, "Hey honey."

Gideon said, "Hey hun, brought you something to eat."

Raymond beamed when he saw the food and dug in once Gideon put it down. He ate the food quickly and said, "That was good."

Gideon kissed him and said, "So was that."

Gideon and Raymond heard the babies start to cry and Gideon walked over and picked Zakai up, carrying him to Raymond before returning for Zandra. He sat down next to Raymond and asked, "Have they been changed?"

Raymond nodded and said, "A nurse came in and did it a few minutes ago."

Gideon nodded and started to hum and smiled in satisfaction when he got the desired effect. Raymond smiled and said, "Your so good with our children."

Gideon smiled back and leaned over Zandra and kissed Raymond on the cheek before sitting down on the bed next to them and cradling his baby girl in his arms. He smiled down at her and she moved her tiny little paw and Gideon laughed softly. Zandra jumped slightly at the noise but didn't start crying again.

Gideon rubbed his muzzle through her chest fur and grinned at the small child. Carol sneaked into the room when neither of them were paying attention and took a picture using Clarice's camera. Gideon jumped slightly and so did Raymond but the babies still didn't start crying. "Our children are weird." Gideon said, smiling at Raymond.

"They know they're in good hands." Carol said. She walked up to them and turned off the flash and took another picture of each of the babies. "Now I get to brag to my friends and your aunt."

Gideon smiled at his mother and said, "Imagine what they'll look like when they're older."

Raymond smirked, "Zakai's going to be big and strong like his father, I just know it."

Gideon grinned. "Zandra is going to be beautiful."

Raymond sighed, "Let's just hope they can get friends even though they're hybrids."

"Well, there's always Jasmine for Zandra." Gideon said, "And I'm sure Zakai will make friends."

Raymond grinned, "I'm eager for school to start actually. What is it? One week until school starts?"

Gideon nodded, "And five days until your stitches dissolve."

Raymond grimaced and then smiled, "And on day six you're taking me out on a date whether you want to or not."

Gideon laughed, "Why wouldn't I?"

Raymond grinned before looking down at his baby who was staring at him with his gorgeous yellow eyes. "You know, I have a feeling this is going to be a lot harder than we thought."

Gideon nodded, "It is. But it's going to be worth it in the end."

Raymond nodded, "Of course."

The nurse came in again and smiled before saying, "It's getting late. I would recommend you get some sleep."

Raymond nodded and Gideon put the two babies back into their crib and he hummed until they both fell asleep. He turned around and almost started laughing. Raymond was asleep too. Gideon walked over and kissed Raymond on the forehead before following his mother to the car. His father was there too, apparently Clarice had taken Wyatt and Troy home. "So, Gideon, are you excited?"

Gideon nodded, "Of course I'm excited."

"Good, cause you're going to be watching your babies for a good while." Carol said, "And tomorrow night you and Raymond will only have Clarice to help because your father is taking me out."

Ron grinned and said, "Think you're up for it?"

Gideon nodded and said, "Of course I'm up for it. They are my children."

Carol pulled into the driveway, and Gideon got out and rushed up the steps. "Is the nursery set up?" Gideon asked.

Carol nodded and said, "Ready for tomorrow when those babies come home."

Gideon smiled and walked downstairs and laid down his bed. He couldn't sleep but he imagined what his children would look like as they grew up.

**

Gideon grinned at his baby girl as he brought her inside and walked upstairs to the nursery and put her in her crib. Raymond did the same for Zakai and then hugged Gideon and said, "It's good to be home."

Gideon smiled and said, "Do you want pizza for dinner?"

Raymond nodded and said, "Oh my god yes."

Gideon laughed as he walked downstairs with a baby monitor in his pocket and asked Clarice as he passed her doorway, "What kind of pizza do you want?"

Clarice laughed and said, "Pepperoni."

Gideon nodded and crossed the hall to Wyatt and Troy's room. He opened the door and asked, "What kind of pizza do you two want?"

Wyatt said, "Sausage."

Troy said, "Cheese."

Gideon shook his head, "I'm going to be spending a lot of money." He walked downstairs and ordered the pizzas and Raymond came down to join him. He sat down on the couch carefully and said, "I can't wait until I've fully recovered."

Gideon laughed, "Neither can I."

Gideon smiled at him mischievously. Raymond laughed and said, "I missed that too."

The doorbell rang and Gideon answered it. It wasn't the pizza guy like he had expected but it was Kevin and Xatrin. "What are you guys doing here?"

"We can't come see our best friend?" Kevin said.

"We wanted to see your babies." Xatrin said.

At that moment the baby monitor in Gideon's pocket went off with the sound of his babies crying and he laughed, "You came at a good time."

Gideon poked Raymond on the arm and said, "Come on, our babies are up."

Raymond smiled and rushed upstairs behind Gideon and Gideon stopped at Clarice's door and asked, "Can you come downstairs and help Raymond and I with Zandra and Zakai?"

Clarice nodded and followed Gideon and Raymond down the stairs after they had picked up and calmed down the crying babies. Kevin and Xatrin smiled at the babies in Gideon and Raymond's arms. "Where do you think Zandra got the purple eyes?" Xatrin asked.

Gideon laughed and said, "I don't know. But who cares, they just make her all the more beautiful."

Raymond sniffed and said, "Alright! They need to be changed now."

Gideon grinned as he set out a towel on the couch for them to change the babies on. "Maybe we should have thought about this before we left the room."

Raymond nodded as he took Zakai and laid him down on the blanket and took off his diaper. "Oh jeez, he definitely needed to be changed."

Kevin and Xatrin had left the room and Clarice had come back in with two bottles. Clarice laughed when she saw Gideon and Raymond changing the two babies. Gideon and Raymond finished quickly and disposed of the dirty diapers and they picked their babies back up.

They took the two bottles and smiled at Clarice as the doorbell rang, "My wallet is on the table." Gideon said as he fed Zandra.

Clarice went to get the pizza and pay for it. She slipped one of Gideon's five dollars bill into her pocket and Gideon yelled, "Put whatever you took back."

Clarice came into the living room and said, "How did you know I took something?"

Gideon grinned, "There was a lot more to this dragon thing than I thought."

Kevin and Xatrin were back in the room and watching over Raymond and Gideon's shoulders as they fed Zandra and Zakai. Zandra and Zakai took half the bottle before they stopped suckling on it. Gideon and Raymond burped the two babies and smiled. They laid the babies down on the towel next to them and grinned. Clarice brought them pizza and Gideon said, "That was nice of you."

Clarice grinned, "You were busy."

Gideon laughed as he took a bite of his pizza. Kevin and Xatrin came back with pizza as well and he grinned at them, "Enjoying watching Raymond and I be parents?"

Kevin and Xatrin nodded, "It's very fascinating watching two men be actual parents." Xatrin said.

"And at the age of fourteen." Kevin added.

"I'm fifteen thank you very much." Gideon said.

"And I'm only twenty-three days behind him." Raymond said.

"Have you guys talked to Dean today?" Gideon asked.

Kevin nodded and said, "Paulie's parents are literally making him move in with them so he can help take care of Jasmine."

Gideon laughed, "It's a good thing my wolf already lives with me."

Raymond kissed Gideon and then licked his lips, "Cheesy."

Gideon glared at him and said, "I was being serious."

Raymond laughed, "I meant your lips."

Gideon blushed and said, "Oh."

Kevin snickered and Xatrin held his hand up to his mouth to stifle a laugh. The babies were moving there arms back and forth and making struggling sounds. Gideon picked them both up and smiled at the two of them. They smiled back at him and they were so cute at that moment that he almost lost sense for everything around him.

He heard the clicking of a camera and he glared at Clarice, "Why do I have a feeling that I'm going to have a whole album of baby pictures of these two?"

Clarice smiled and said, "That's good. You'll never forget their baby days."

Raymond grinned, "And we'll be able to embarrass them like hell when they finally get a boyfriend or girlfriend."

Gideon laughed, "That's true."

Gideon started to hum loudly and started to rock the babies gently back and forth, smiling as he hummed them their lullaby. Their eyelids drooped and almost as one they fell asleep, their tiny chests rising and falling as they breathed. Gideon walked upstairs and put them in their crib, staring at his children with a look of happiness that could only be directed at a person's children, so innocent and beautiful.

He picked up the baby monitor and walked downstairs to sit next to Raymond. Kevin and Xatrin had left and Gideon kissed Raymond and sighed, "You ready for bed?" Raymond asked.

Gideon nodded and they walked downstairs to their bedroom and Gideon smiled as they laid down on the bed, "So, is it easier to walk now that the babies have been born?" Gideon asked.

Raymond grinned, "Yep, thank god. I'm going to be doing a lot of walking."

Gideon said, "Yep, our new school is huge."

Raymond grinned, "At least we have all our classes together."

Gideon nodded and said, "Yep."

Raymond was silent for a moment as he put his head onto Gideon's chest. "Night honey."

Gideon kissed the top of Raymond's head and said, "I love you."

Raymond moved his head slightly and closed his eyes. He fell asleep and dreamt about his beautiful babies.

Gideon fell asleep shortly after, caressing his mate's head lovingly.

**

It had been six days since Raymond had come home with his and Gideon's babies and Raymond was getting ready for his and Gideon's date. Gideon grinned as he looked over Raymond. "You look great hun."

"I know I do." Raymond said, "Now, let's go."

Gideon grinned as he followed Raymond up the stairs, "Thanks for watching Zakai and Zandra mom."

Carol grinned, "No problem. Is Clarice driving you guys?"

Gideon nodded, "Raymond's not going to let me fly because of how long he spent on fixing his fur. He's such a girl."

Raymond grinned, "Sorry for wanting to look nice."

Gideon laughed, "Oh well, we're going to a fancy restaurant. We need to look nice."

Clarice came down the stairs and looked over Gideon and Raymond. "You both look gorgeous."

Gideon blushed. He was wearing his black sports coat with the silver dragons again. Raymond was wearing new clothes that Gideon had bought him specifically for this occasion. The shirt was a plain, black silk shirt and the pants were regular jeans but he still looked amazing.

Clarice grinned as she pushed them out the door and they climbed into the car and she drove them to the restaurant. She pulled into the Red Lobster's parking lot and they got out. "I'll call you when we're done eating."

Raymond and Gideon walked into the restaurant and they were seated when Gideon told them his name. Their waiter gave them disgusted looks but took their orders and brought them their food. Raymond grinned at Gideon as he took the first bite, "This is delicious."

Gideon smiled at Raymond and leaned over the table to kiss him. They continued eating and finished quickly, "You know, this food goes by awfully fast." Raymond said as he kissed Gideon again. Gideon grinned and asked for the check. He paid and called Clarice.

"You know, our dates always go by way to fast." Raymond said.

Gideon laughed and said, "At least the food is always good, and it's normally romantic."

"Except for the time that you took me to the bowling alley for a date." Raymond said.

Gideon grinned, "You know you loved having me behind you teaching you how to throw the ball."

Raymond laughed, "That I did."

Clarice pulled into the parking lot and Raymond and Gideon climbed into the car. "That was fast."

"I was anxious to get home to our babies." Raymond said.

Gideon laughed and said, "Me too. I love you, you're such a good mother."

Raymond grinned at him and kissed him as Clarice started to drive towards home. Raymond and Gideon kissed practically the whole ride home. They pulled into the driveway and Raymond and Gideon ran up the steps and grinned at Gideon's mother as they came inside. The babies were crying on the couch next to her and she couldn't calm them down.

Gideon started to hum and the babies calmed down. "Ok, playing music for the baby while they're in the womb, good idea." Gideon said.

"You really need to record that so I can calm them down when I watch them." Carol said.

Gideon laughed, "I'll do that as soon as I'm not as lazy as I am now."

Carol glared but smiled as she looked down at her grand children. Gideon picked up Zakai and kissed him gently on the forehead before passing him to Raymond and picking up Zandra. He kissed her on the forehead and grinned, "Daddy's little girl."

Zandra smiled and cooed, kicking her legs. Gideon's smile widened. "I love my baby girl."

Raymond grinned at him and said, "Don't you love both of them."

"Of course I do. I love my little Zakai and my little Zandra." Gideon said, "They're just perfect."

"That they are." Raymond said as he sat next to Gideon.

They just sat and smiled at their babies, feeding them or changing them when they cried, until a knock came at the door. Gideon stood up with Zandra in one arm and opened the door. He grinned when he saw Alec, Charlie, and a small dragon hiding behind Alec's leg. "Hey Alec, Charlie. Who is this little one?" Gideon asked as he bent down, holding Zandra carefully.

Alec smiled, "We decided to adopt a child."

Gideon smiled at the small green dragon, "Why in the world would any parent put a green dragon son up for adoption?"

Green dragons had a reputation for becoming famous and they were always nice and smart. "I don't know, but he seems to be really abused. His name is Alex."

Gideon smiled at Alex and said, "Hi Alex, I'm Gideon."

Gideon held out his paw and Alex took it hesitantly. "Hi."

Gideon smiled at Alex again and stood up, still holding Zandra. "I'm guessing you came over to see Zandra and Zakai?"

Alec and Charlie nodded, "And to introduce Alex."

Gideon started to walk into the living room, "How old is he anyways?"

"He's five." Alec said.

Gideon nodded and said, "Hey mom, look what the cat dragged in."

"I didn't drag anything in." Troy said with a grin.

"Stop being a smart butt." Gideon said, making sure not to say any curses around the little ones.

"Hey Alec." Clarice said happily as she hugged him and Charlie. Gideon gave Zandra to Carol and grinned at Raymond.

He bent down in front of Alex and asked, "Would you like some juice?"

Alex nodded and said, "Yes please."

Carol noticed Alex for the first time and asked, "Who's this?"

Alec smiled, "It's Alex, we adopted him about a week ago."

"And you weren't going to tell me?" Carol said.

"Well, you didn't tell Charlie and I about Raymond having his children."

Carol stuck out her tongue. "Can he have apple juice?" Gideon asked.

Alec nodded, "He loves apple juice."

Gideon walked into the kitchen and poured a small cup of apple juice and came back into the living room with it. "Here ya go." He said, handing the juice to Alex.

"Thank you Gideon." Alex said before taking a drink.

Gideon ruffled the little boy's hair before standing up and taking Zandra back. "Hey Alex," Carol said, smiling at the small child. "I'm your new grandma."

Alex smiled at her but still hid behind Alex's leg. "Do you know why he's so shy?" Clarice asked quietly.

Alec sighed, "According to the orphanage he was abused by his real parents."

Wyatt came down the stairs and Alex looked over at him and looked excited, "Hey Wyatt!"

Wyatt looked at Alex confused before looking at Alec and he guessed at why Alex was here. "Hey Alex."

Wyatt grinned at the small dragon as he carefully put the apple juice down and ran over to hug Wyatt.

Carol looked confused, "Did you two know each other in the orphanage."

Wyatt nodded and said, "I played with Alex often."

Wyatt ruffled the little dragon's hair and whispered so quietly only Gideon and Alex could hear. "These are nice people, they won't hurt you."

Alex nodded and said, "Ok."

Gideon felt a pang of sympathy for the small dragon as he walked up to Carol and hugged her. Carol smiled at the small dragon and hugged him back. Alex walked back over to Alec and picked his apple juice back up before sitting on the floor and taking another drink. Wyatt smiled as he joined the small dragon, Troy sitting behind him.

Alex smiled at Wyatt as he pulled a deck of cards out of his pocket. "Do you want to play some 'Go Fish' Alex?" Wyatt asked.

Alex nodded and smiled at Wyatt. Gideon smiled at the two boys sitting on the floor before saying, "Do you want hold Zandra, Alec?"

Alec nodded and sat down next to Gideon. Gideon smiled at his baby before placing her carefully in the crook of Alec's arm. Alec smiled at his niece, "I still can't believe I'm an uncle to a daughter and a son from my fifteen year old brother."

Gideon grinned, "And my boyfriend."

"And his boyfriend." Alec said, nodding his head.

Charlie sat down next to Alec and looked at Zandra over his shoulder. "Jeez, she looks so much like both of you."

The baby girl in Alec's arms smiled and kicked her legs again. Alec laughed softly and she started to cry. Alec started to frown and Gideon took her back hurriedly, humming to her quietly. It took a while but she finally calmed down.

Alec patted Gideon's shoulder and said, "Jeez, I don't think I could handle taking care of children."

"Haha." Raymond said, "It's not that hard."

Raymond was gently rocking Zakai back and forth in his arms and making cooing sounds at the small baby which was returned by a smile and a very faint gurgling noise. Raymond was smiling a smile that went from ear to ear. Gideon looked at the clock and sighed, "Ugh, it's time for bed."

Raymond groaned but followed Gideon upstairs to the nursery. Gideon and Raymond put the babies into their cribs and Gideon grabbed his violin from the closet. He tuned it quickly and played their lullaby. Gideon watched as the two babies' tiny eyelids started to droop and then close, their tiny chests rising and falling in the rhythm of sleep.

"Since when did you play the violin?" Raymond asked.

Gideon laughed, "I play plenty of instruments, Bass, Drums, Guitar, Violin, Flute, Cello, Clarinet."

Raymond grinned, "Hopefully our children take that much interest in music."

"It's still awkward saying our children isn't it?" Gideon asked.

Raymond nodded, "We'll get used to it."

"Eventually." Gideon said.

They walked downstairs and Gideon gave Carol the baby monitor, "We do have to go to school tomorrow." Gideon said grinning at her.

Gideon and Raymond walked downstairs to the basement and got undressed and climbed into their bed. "I love you." Gideon whispered as he hugged Raymond to his stomach.

"I love you more." Raymond said, kissing Gideon.

Gideon started to hum and Raymond's eyes drooped and then closed. The last thing Raymond heard was, "I love you more."

Gideon kissed the top of Raymond's head and closed his eyes. He fell asleep thinking of all the benefits of parenthood.
