Chapter 9, Chapter 10 will possibly be posted later.

SO glad im able to come up with new material. So this chapter does not have any kind of yiff, or mature content in it. It may be a bit boring as well. Just bear with me here, more of it is filler so I can properly set up when that content comes into play. But hopefully you like the chapter, and more will come soon.

We had exited the hospital, and after about spending 15 minutes looking for our car in the parking garage, made our way back to my home. Passing through the busy entertainment district and narrowly avoiding dumb drivers at their finest we had finally made it. We pulled up to my house, Bruce instantly jumping out of his car and gazing upon my home, while Nokia and Spade slowly got out of the car and stood in awe of the house. My house wasn't big by any standards, slightly more than normal though. I had bought it from my parents and as soon as I did, customized it to reflect my style. To me, it still looked like the same old house I grew up in, but to the others, it looked like a lap of luxury. "You live here?" Questioned Bruce as he continued to stare at the house. "Mhm, this was the house my parents raised me in, and I bought it from them when they decided to retire and live somewhere smaller. It has only 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and such like that." Spade: "Only? That's actually quite a bit of room for a first house; my first house was about a fourth of the size of this." We walked into the house, it smelling of a cool mint, and the cleanliness shining in the sunlight pouring through the windows. Spade and Nokia went to one side of the house, and me and Bruce went to the other. I showed him three of the bedrooms, one for me, one for guests, and one I custom built as a "Music Studio" for recordings and producing. I heard Spade and Nokia go out to the backyard, and we walked over to the garage. In there sat three cars, one covered by a giant blackout curtain, and the other two with dust on them as they sat. "So, why do you have three cars in here? What about the one you drive around?" "That one is my everyday car, these ones go to car shows and events, especially the one covered up over there. I turned on the lights, the florescent bulbs whining a bit before engulfing the room in bright light. The first car's electric green color slightly blinded me as I walked by it, the car next to it was a dark purple/blue with gold leafing shining from it. The green one was a Chevy SS, and the purple/blue one was a Scion FRS. I pulled the covers off of the third car, revealing underneath to be a 1969 Chevy Camaro, colored a darker baby blue with black outline stripes, and two purple racing stripes going down the middle. The interior was Baby blue, with black outlines on the trim of the seats and dashboard. The radio was a modern day touch screen interface, and the speakers were LED Bose speakers. Overall, a classic car with a modern twist. "Holy shit ray, did you build this? "Nah, had it customized by an expert, I just chose the colors and helped build it. Saved about half of the money it cost by helping out.

The other two cars were ones I customized myself. The green one you see here is my dedication to Minecraft, the paint being the bright green with a bioluminescent creeper logo on the hood. You can't really see it right now because of the fluorescent lights." I opened up the door to the car to show him the inside. "The inside is black fabric seating with bright green trim and all of the modern options. The engine is a scaled down V6 engine for the gas mileage. Cost about $15,000 to do all of the work but it was worth it. The second one you see here was given to me, another friend of mine couldn't afford the car anymore because of the engine issues and how much he drove it. So he handed it to me. The inside is orange with purple trim all throughout. This car however, has black light LEDs under the seats and dashboard, making the interior glow bright while they are on. And all of the modern stuff as well. I took out the engine and converted it to a more natural based system." "And what would that be?" Asked Bruce as he looked very confused. "Have you ever heard of car engines being converted to vegetable oil engines?" He nodded at me. "That's exactly what this car has. It runs off of vegetable oil and or any cooking grease from any kind of restaurant. Wasn't that cheap but well worth it. Thing gets like 45 MPG on just oil." I pushed a button on the wall and the garage doors opened up. The floors beneath the cars shifted a bit and all three cars moved out of the garage, sitting outside when the platforms ran out of track. "That feature makes it easy to get them out without the risk of hitting anything." The sun shone on all the cars and the first cars hood lit up with the creeper logo almost instantly. I went back into the garage and pulled out three keyless entry remotes. Throwing one to Bruce, and the others to Spade and Nokia running out of the house. "These remotes I just handed y'all have keyless startup, it's the button on the bottom. Start 'em up if you wish to."

Spade and Nokia looked at me confused, while Bruce raised the remote in the car and brought the creeper car to life. It sputtered for a second but then revved hard as it started up, making the ground vibrate as it idled. Spade ran over to the car as I opened the hood, staring at the massive motor running in the car. "Shit, man, this thing is loud as hell. What kind of engine is in it?" "Oh, it's just a supercharged V6 motor standard to the car, it's only loud because of the amount of gas and oil that gets shot into the engine. It usually quiets down to almost a Prius in a few minutes. These cars haven't been run in about a year." Nokia started the other car up, and the black lights shined brightly and the engine hissed a bit before quietly purring. The car started booming from the inside, and I opened the door, turning the radio down. "All of these cars have Bose 5.1 Sound Systems installed with touch screen in dash systems for everything. My other secret car has Soundfreaq Custom systems." "And what would your secret car be?" asked Bruce as he looked very curiously at me. "A Tesla Roadster S, amazing car even though it costs 75 Grand. Only paid about half of that because of friend of mine with inheritance thought he owed me a lot because of what I've done for him. I even refused it and he pestered me for about a year, I finally gave in and told him he could. But I still paid for some of the customizations."

I shut the cars off one by one and pushed the button to retreat them back into the garage. I shut the garage door and walked inside, the three others following behind. We walked into the kitchen, one of the only places in the house overly updated. Had the white modern cabinets, high quality chef's kitchen stainless appliances, what more could you need? "So, is anybody hungry? I was about to whip something up if y'all were." "What did you have in mind?" Asked Spade as he slowly lingered into the living room. "I can make anything Italian food wise, Pizza, Pasta, such like that. I also specialize in making stir-fry and Mongolian food." "Everybody looked at me hungrily as soon as I said stir-fry. "I guess I'm making stir-fry then."

"Hey, do you have enough for like 4 or 5 more people?" Bruce asked as he looked up from his phone. "Let's just say you wouldn't believe the amount of food I have, I could run my own buffet if I wanted to. You want to invite some friends over do ya?" He nodded a bit as he typed on his phone. "It's fine with me, I might invite a friend or two over as well. If that's all right with you two." Looking over to Spade and Nokia, Nokia blushed a little bit. Spade shrugged his shoulders, "It's not like we have anything to do." I pulled out my phone and dialed a number. "A voice picked up on the other side, 'hello?'" "Hey, it's me." "Ray? Its been a while, how ya feeling?" "Pretty good, have some friends over here, was wondering if you wanted to stop by or something. Making a shit ton of food." "Sounds good, I'll be over there in about 20." "Alright, see you then."

He hung up the phone and I dialed another number. One I haven't called in a while.

"Hello?" "Who is this?" I asked as I didn't recognize the voice on the other side. The other person asked the same question. "My name is Skye, I was looking for Felix." "Oh, well this is his roommate Zach. He isn't here right now." "DO you know where he is?" "Mhm, hes on the floor below helping somebody out. You want me to tell him you called?" "Sure, just tell him that if he is up for it, he can come over to my place for a bit, just tell him I invited him over." "Alright, I'll make sure to tell him as soon as he gets back." "Thanks, bye" "Bye."

And with that, the call was ended.

I walked back into the kitchen, gathering some spices and setting them on the counter. I pulled out a long rack from one of the thin cabinets, bottles of different mixes, condiments, and marinades. Setting the heavy rack on the counter, I walked over to the stove shutting it on slowly and pulling off the top grill surface, putting it away in the racks above, and pulling out a flat top, used mostly for Mongolian foods and such like this. Snapping it into the countertop, I began greasing the flat top and waiting for it to warm up. Bruce stood next to me while I prepared the grill, the oil already starting to sizzle from the intense heat and evaporate.

I pulled out to cutting boards from the counters, and set the condiment rack on the first one. I walked over to the walk-in freezer, and opened the door, a blast of frigid cold air coming out. I walked in and grabbed 6 different types of meat. Steak, Chicken, Lamb, Turkey, Salami, and Pepperoni. Carrying the meats in my arms I set them down on the second cutting board, filling it up about halfway.

I went over to the counter, pulling out another large cutting board and setting the steak on it. I grabbed a large knife and cut that fat off, leaving the meat, and chopping it into thin strips. After about 5 steaks, I put the rest to the side and washed off the cutting board, drying it off with a paper towel and putting the chicken on it. I did the same process with the other meats while Nokia and Bruce watched me. Spade went walking around the house.

(Zach POV)

I heard the door open and saw Felix walk in. He looked to be a bit tired, but not enough to be concerning. "How was downstairs?" "Eh, it was fine. They need help moving some new furniture around, otherwise, nothing too bad." "Someone called for you a few minutes ago, someone you've told me about." "Hmm, I don't remember telling you about anybody besides some of my friends, and they don't usually call my landline." "They said their name was Skye." I heard Felix scoff a bit and come over to me. "What did he want?" "He said that if you were up for it, he invited you over to his place or something like that." "He invited me over? Did he say what he was doing?" "No, not really. But from the background noise it sounded like he was cooking food or something." Felix sighed heavily, and looked at me with a worried look. "I didn't think he would ever call me. Especially not after the way I reacted to him." "What did you do anyway? You said you two got into a big argument and that was it." Felix sighed as he went on, "We had a big fight. We were dating each other and I lashed out at him because he put himself and a friend in the hospital." "How did he get into the hospital?" "He had gotten electrocuted along with his friend. They were in the middle of intense sex when it happened." "SO he has a thing for BDSM?" "Well, in a sense yes. He told me he only uses electricity to get more of a feeling, but he ended up pushing it too far and almost killed himself. I ended up retaliating at him for doing so. We got into a big argument and I told him that I didn't want to be with him if he was going to risk his life for a little pleasure like that. I don't really know what happened later on. But I know he dropped out of school and went into a depressive state. We ended up running into each other again a few weeks later. He kept asking me over and over about what had happened, and I had had enough of it. I drove out of the school with him in my car, and he ended up smacking me for not answering him. I ended up stopping at a friend's place and throwing him into one of the guest rooms and walked out. Haven't talked to him since." I just stared at him, he had hidden this from me, yet he told me that Skye was the reason we broke up. I could fell my anger rising, and I walked over and planted a punch into his muzzle. "Dude, what the fuck was that for!?" "For one thing it was hiding it from me, but two, blaming him for actions you did?! You're the one at fault here. He made one little mistake and you fucking ruined something great with it. You need to go over there and apologize to him. I also wanna hear his side of the story." "Are you coming with me?" "If it means helping the two of you out a bit, then yes. I don't want this to affect both of your futures. He won't mind will he?" "Not at all. He is the kind of person to accommodate others." "It's not the food I care about, it that you one apologize for what you did and two, that you make sure you can at least salvage something out of this relationship." "DO I have to?" "You either apologize to him or you won't live here anymore." "But what if he doesn't accept the apology?" "Then at least you tried. But he doesn't sound like the kind of person to hold it against you."

And with that, we made our way over there.

Skye POV

I heard the doorbell ring, and Bruce opened the door, Crowley springing in and running straight to me, embracing him in a hug as Bruce shut the door. "Its been a while, how you been Skye?" "Well, because of Bruce there, I've been really great." "That's good to hear." "How have YOU been?" "Besides work being a bitch, I've been good. I've mostly been worried about you. I'm glad you found someone who really cares about you." He walked over to Bruce and hugged him tightly. "Bruce, I'm glad you found him. Before you did, he was a mess, and you brought him out of it. Just know if there is anything you need, don't be afraid to ask." "I'll be sure to remember that. Thanks." "Its not a problem, anyone that cares for Skye like me is someone I can trust." I walked over and clapped my hands at them, "Now that were done with this heartfelt conversation, anyone wanna help me with the food?" Bruce nodded as well as Crowley, each of them walking to opposite sides of the kitchen, each grabbing different tools and helping with the preparations. Bruce was prepping the meats while Crowley was chopping up the greens and seasoning them up. I took a spatula out and scooped a bit of steak up, throwing it down onto the hot flat grill, it sizzling loudly as the juices started simmering out of it. I was already felling really hungry, right after the scent came out from the steak. I took another scoop of steak and flung it into the grill, it simmering loudly as I pressed it down. I flung the meat around, lightly seasoning it over and over as it cooked on the flat surface. I heard a car door shut outside, and right afterwards I heard the doorbell ring, and asked Bruce to take over. He walked over to where I was and mixed everything around. I wiped off my hands and answered the door, being blinded by a bright light, but when my vision finally cleared, I couldn't believe who it was
