Finally done with this documentary of another genus of the Netherbeasts.

This time something most of you enjoy instead of furs or scales: Fishmen!!

Hope you enjoy this one, even though I'm not very proud of this one.

I was also thinking of making the same documentaries, but with a.....interesting section if you know what I mean.

Now before I leave you to read on, the usual reminder: if there is anything else you want to know about the Deep Ones or the other Netherbeastian genera, just ask in the comments or PM me directly and will try to answer as much as I can.

Adventurers of the deep and collectors of forgotten treasures.

Them being underwater creatures, they are only affiliated with water or water related magic or abilities.

Traditions:-

The Deep Ones have a yearly festival of sorts.

Most of the Deep Ones, if not all of them, are professional treasure hunters.

The 'festival' is more like an offering ritual, where the other Deep Ones travel throughout the realm to look for treasures to offer to the king/emperor.

And the one who brings him the most treasures or the most beautiful and precious relic or artifact, will get their son's hand(if there was a son) in marriage. Which is to them, the greatest honor in their lives.

Appearance:-

The Deep Ones, like their name, are fish-like in appearance, mixed in with other creatures.

Species:-

***************************

Undines:-

Royal mermen of the sea.

Are affiliated with all water related spells, as well as the natural ability of telepathy, which other Deep Ones have to learn in order to use.

There power and royal like appearance both earned them the place of emperors.

Appearance:-

Undines vary between royal fish types in appearance, like: gold fish or koi.

They have long thick tails with thin fin tip, it's mostly for looks than any certain function.

They vary from wolves to horses and on rare occasions: humans.

Clothes:-

They mostly like all Deep Ones, prefer going naked when underwater.

But when they have land visitors, their land equipment consist of: plastic shirts , shorts, and long coats with an ocean like design.

Their accessories include: coral and shell necklaces, bracelets made from shells and ocean stones and for the king: a crown designed with a mixture of all the above.

Traditions:-

Undines tend to hold the Royal Treasure Hunt. Which as mentioned above is where all the other Deep Ones gather treasure.

At the end of the event which is yearly and one month long, the king appraises what the treasure hunters gather and the one who brings the most treasures or the most precious single artifact or relic, will be allowed to take one of the king's sons(if any) hand in marriage.

Para-Strippers:-

Despite their.....interesting name: they are quite the force to be reckoned with.

They are the only ones who have the ability to control electricity underwater, paralyzing their enemy and prey alike.

Appearance:-

Both vary from squids, octopi, jellyfish and other kinds of marine life with paralyzing abilities.

They can have an octopus' or a jellyfish's bodies for heads, or have the tentacles grow out of their backs or as tails.

Clothing:-

They prefer going shirtless when the wear clothes, with a waist cloak with a large shell as a belt buckle.

Accessories include: Piercings or rings for their tentacles, shoulder pads made from a mixture of shells and stones and conducting materials for their electric abilities.

Traditions:-

They don't have a certain tradition.

But they tend to travel a lot between realms, and indulging into the traditions and cultures of the realm they visit, including those besides the Nether Realm

********************************

Sireins:-

Actors of the deep sea and singers of the wide ocean.

The Sireins are masters of disguise and are capable of changing their voice to mimic anyone or anything they think of.

Also are able to control the water pressure around them in a certain but wide radius.

There melodic singing can mesmerize almost anyone and can soothe any beast. Or their voices can destroy the very being of one.

Ironically: their name was given to them by a mortal sailor/fisherman, who was looking for the original sirens, but found them instead. After a while the mortal actually fell in love with one, mesmerized by his beautiful voice, making sure his route took him through the said Sirein's lair at the time, and always going alone.

Eventually the sailor and Sirein 'tied the knot' as they say, and sired children.

Last the people heard of either, was that the mortal was given a slight portion of immortality so that they would live together forever. And they both were living on a seaside house in Ireland or Scotland.

Appearance:-

They look like either sea dragons or as wolves. With some actually have fish lower bodies instead of legs.

They have large ear fins, that can be used to intercept long distance sounds.

And large back fins, two for the wolf shaped, and three for the dragons, with a middle one being larger.

Large and long thin but malleable scales coming from their backs from just below the shoulders, that can emit colorful light effects when they come in contact with light.

Clothes:-

They prefer wearing silk thin clothing. With shirts that have holes in the back for their 'wing' scales.

Accessories include: rings, necklaces, fin braces for the 'mers' and piercings for their head and ear fins.

Traditions:-

Sireins tend to visit the oceans of other realms, singing for the amusement of sailors who go through their temporary habitats.

And unlike the original sirens, who use their mesmerizing voice to prank sailors and lead them to their death, the Sireins use their singing to lead the lost sailors into safety.

That was actually how the certain sailor and Sirein met each other.

Deep Shells:-

Treasure guardians and keepers of ancient knowledge.

They are more affiliated with protection magic.

Appearance:-

They look like a mix between sea dragons and turtles, with their shells built from many kinds of powerful metals found in their realm.

Their skin color varies between different shades of green and blue. Manes which vary from white to blue in colors.

Their bodies all vary from many kinds of body builds, all ranging from chubby or muscle gutted to thick and buff.

Their shells only cover their backs, no front covering, not that they need them considering that they are Netherbeasts.

Clothing:-

The Deep Shells prefer only to wear pants or loincloths with varying designs.

For the upper body most if not all prefer to wear their shells.

Accessories includes necklaces and bracelets made of shells and corals.

Some precious stones embedded into their shells, but those are only worn on occasions.

Traditions:-

Deep Shells have no traditions whatsoever.

During mating season, they leave their shells off for the duration of the season, to show off their bodies.

Oxadines:- (spelled oxa-deens)

Pretty much the only Deep Ones who can breathe both on land and underwater without the use of special equipment. Which is why most tend to live on the islands above.

Though they don't have an affiliation with any kind of magic, their name came to them from both being able to breathe on land and the ability to control the oxygen around them, but at a certain radius that can increase with training and experience.

With the rare ability to control pressure around them.

Appearance:-

Oxadines look more like the normal everyday large fish, like: sharks, dolphins, whales or orcas, with their skin color having different patterns and colors from the originals.

But the difference are the tribal markings that are literally carved on their bodies upon reaching puberty, which vary in shape and design.

Also all have a few sharp blade shaped bones sticking out off their arms, heels and below the shoulder blades, but those blades can be softened to allow proper movement.

Clothes:-

Oxadines like the Deep Shells wear only bottoms.

Accessories include necklaces, bracelets and ankle bracers made off pearls and deep sea stones.

Traditions:-

The Oxadines join the traditional royal treasure hunt, as guides or obstacles that give the challengers some rare treasure if they overcame the test. These challenges are called Ordeals.

During mating season, they tend to keep for themselves, preferring the lone wolf kind of life style, but when they do find someone they shower them with gifts, love and praise, going as far as going on long expeditions to the seas of other realms to get any kind of gift or souvenir for their mates or children if there are any.

Lurkers:-

Like the Voidwalker Creepers, the Lurkers are the lowest ranking specie of the Deep Ones. And just like the Creepers they have no affiliation to any kind of magic or any special abilities.

They prefer to live inside underwater caves or tunnels that have formed throughout the years.

Appearance:-

Some Lurkers are more crustacean in appearance, resembling crabs, lobsters and shrimps.

While others resembling the deep water creatures like anglers and viper fishes.

The deep fish look-alikes have a whole fish's body for a head, with a almost dehydrated human's body attached to it.

Clothes:-

Lurkers wear nothing at all and are not interested in accessories.

Traditions:-

Lurkers instead of gathering the treasures they find and offer them to the royal family, they stash it away in one of their caves or tunnels only to hinder the event if nothing else.
