Chapter 1: Full Moon Emissary
It was the first full moon of the month, all the creatures of the tribal lands would come together at the great open valley to celebrate the new month.
The moon glowed bright enough for it to seem like it was dusk as all the creatures gathered up in numbers, besides everything between younglings and the elders being there, there was only 1 late comer, DenDira she always was casually late for any occasion since she didn't like rules.
When DenDira had finally arived she landed right near the group with a smirk upon her face, glaring at the crowed she shifted back into her smaller anthro-form just to walk up to the elders and bowing slightly ''Excuse me for being late Lords, i had some business to attend to..'' she muttered whilst the elders just shook their heads, waving their hands with a quick gesture a large bonfire was lit and the celebrations started.
The mood changed slowly as the night went on, the party just got better and better even with so many people around some did find them selfs acting upon sexual instinct as a few just did hump in the middle of te group and some went barely into the woods to do their deeds. DenDira on the other hand just sat near the fire glaring into it before letting out a soft sigh looking up at the sky, A wolf joined her at the bonfire with a thud making her perk a ear and glare at him for a little while, if she recalled correctly he was the alpha male of the wolves around here, she nodded her head at him as he gave her a nod ''Evening lord, having fun like the others?'' she asked pointing at the exhausted people that had made the whole area smell like sexual tension, he chuckled shaking his head ''I'd rather not induldge myself in their little activities not to mention i am only here on invitation of the elders'' a awkward silence fell over the two sitting at the bonfire as both of them glared at the flames, DenDira stood up with a smirk extending her hand ''Anyways, I'm DenDira, nice to meet you Lord....?'' she tilted her head whilst locking her purple eyes with his hazel eyes, he grabbed her hand standing up giving it a gentle shake ''Just call me Shiloh and it's nice to meet you as well, i'd have to assume by your appearance that you're of the Mountain clan?'' she gave him a rather quick nod whilst spreading her wings ''Yes indeed and if i do recall correctly you're the alpha of the wolves of this area?'' he nodded before chuckling slightly, as they both sat down she sighed glaring back up at the sky.
Before long the moon started to lower itself beyond the horizon hiding itself from the suns rays, most of the clans had gone home already when she awoke, stretching as she stood up and gave a glare around the valley, the wolf alpha and the elders were gone. She gave a big yawn before shifting into her Feral form flying off to her mountains.
~Time skip: 3 months later~
A few months had passed and all the clans had been busy dealing with their own issues, DenDira whoever did not want to be involved in too much of the clan issues, she'd rather just fly of for a adventure or something.
The sun was high around midday, it was a lovely warm day when the leader of the Mountain clan came to DenDira's den, he opened the curtains and barged in ''Den!!! I know your in here, come out i have a matter to speak discuss with you'' he yelled glaring about into the darkened den, she crawled from under her blankets and glared at him ''Rovylo...nice to see you too, what's this matter?'' she muttered before yawing widely ''This is no joke Den, we need a emissary to go check in on the wolves...and honestly you've almost done none of your work as a royal guard so i am sending you'' she just glared at him with disbelieve, jumping out of her bed just to charge at him to stand as close face to face as possible ''YOU ARE DOING WHAT! I AM A MEMBER OF THE ROYAL GUARD!'' she showed her marked ear whilst staring into his eyes ''Why couldn't you pick someone els?'' she turned around to get dressed ''Due to your recest inactivity i really had no choise and if that doesn't sway you then this is a Order by your Leader...'' she turned her head to glare at him, it would be a understatment if i said that if looks could kill he'd be dead, she'd turn back around and walk just past him ''I'll remember that Rovylo...'' she whispered stepping just out of her den just to change into her feral form, she turned her head to look at him ''The pack we want you to check on is to the north of here, go past the open valley then right from the Misty lake'' she turned her back back to look over the landscape with a sigh stepping to the edge of the cliff she stopped for a second to stretch her wings as she heard Rovylo behind her whisper ''Don't be mad at me Den...I know we've known each other for a long time but i gotta play a role of a leader too...'' she jumped off and flew with the directions in mind.
30 minutes later she had flown most of the distance she could already see the Misty lake, looking around she landed just right off the shores of the lake, moving into the woods she noticed some abandoned den's and some left overs from what she assumed was from the wolves. Not long after she had entered the forest she heard growling, a few smaller wolves ran up to her but keeping their distance as she stood far higher than them, keeping her pace up knowing that the wolves were a good sign she approached a small clearing where there were multiple tents and dens building in a semi-circle, she stood near the camp glaring to see if their alpha would show just by her smell alone but no one seemed to show, the smaller wolves still alert sniffing near her. She decided to sit down after a small while not going further into the camp as she wasn't really sure if the alpha was home or not, the smaller wolves still slightly circling her one of them decided to come close and give her nip on her lower back, she jumped up turning around in a instant just to let out a deafening roar, most of the small wolves whined running off into the woods and the one who had done the deed rolled onto his back in fear whilst she just towered over it, another growl could be heard from behind her making her head turn slightly to see a bigger male wolf stand near the campfire ''What do you think you're doing to my beta?'' he said flashing his fangs at her, she turned completly around to face him ''Excuse me, your beta nipped at me for no reason so it was in self defence...anyways i am here for business, i seek the alpha'' his face formed a slight smirk ''That'd be me, Shiloh Shadowmane'' he lowered his head since he still was technically smaller than her, she lowered her head back at him ''Well we meet again then Lord Shadowmane, I've been send here as a emissary for the wolves on behalve of the mountain clan, I'm DenDira Whitefang'' he made a gesture for her to come closer to the fire and so she did sitting down near the fire as she looked at him. He glared at her slightly not sure if they had met before ''We've met before?'' he muttered, she nodded before shifting into her anthro form ''Yes we have, during the last full moon celebration'' she smiled, he recognized her now in this form just laugh slightly ''Ah now i remember, you're the casually late girl'' nodding slightly as he scratched his ear, slightly annoyed by how he had remember her, she just decided to smile and nod ''Yes and now i'm here for business...let's get that over with before we chit chat our time away'' pulling out a small parchment out of her bag and handing it to him, they would spend about an hour just talking about matter of clans, Food, hunting grounds and territorial bounds.
The sun was setting slowly as Den and Shiloh finished of their reunion ''Hm it's already getting dark, i think i should leave now, don't wanna upset your clan by hanging around'' she muttered whilst standing up to stretch ''Or you could just stay for one night, as long as i'm here the pack wouldn't dare do anything bad to a guest'' he mentioned with a slight flirty tone, she glared back at him with a subtle smirk ''I'll stay but not inside the camp, who knows what could happen..'' she teased laughing slightly as she walked out of his tent, he grabbed her arm dragging her back inside just to land a kiss on her cheek, her face flushed slightly red pushing him off of her ''Lord Shiloh Shadowmane...that was uncalled for!'' she growled glaring straight into his eyes, he just smirked lifting his hands slightly ''Oh come on, it was just a good night kiss'' he muttered opening the tent for her ''Have a good night sleep miss'' she glared at him all the way till she was outside, quickly shifting into her feral form, she flew up into a big tree for the night.
