#2 of Silent Hill

"What?" Draco said as he peered out across the gap in the road. "This...is just like what I read about on the net a while back...but I thought it was all fake..." He then turned around and began to slowly walk back towards the town with his paws still cuffed behind him. "Well whatever. My son is somewhere all alone in this place and he's probably scared like hell. We need to find him."

Foxx stared wide eyed as he looked down into the seemingly bottomless pit and turned towards Draco as he saw him walking back into town. "Wait just one moment. You're not off the hook yet. I'm sure there's someway out of this place, and when I find it your ass is going behind bars." He ran towards Draco and grabbed one of his arms in his paws as the two continued to walk down the foggy street. "So what does your son look like? I never really got a good view of him."

"Well, he's a cross breed between a dragon and a leopard. He is slim, but he's got a frame like mine, with a dragon shaped snout and cat whiskers.. Here. I got a picture of him in my wallet." He pulled out his wallet and took out a picture he'd kept of him and Sampson on a rollercoaster at a local theme park, the both of them looking as if they were gonna rip the restraints off. "Heh, him and I never liked coasters. But my wife dared us both to try one at least once."

Foxx took the picture and examined it carefully, before handing it back to Draco. "It seems you two are pretty tight. SO why were you beating him back there on the road?" Foxx said, before stopping and staring straight out into the road ahead of them, the ashes beginning to fall like snow from the sky. "It's the middle of June and it's snowing...? Wait.." He reached out and grabbed a piece of ash as it fell from the sky and rubbed it gently between his fingers. "This isn't snow.. What the hell is going on in this place?"

Draco stopped as well and shrugged. "I dunno. But maybe I thought wrong about the shit I read online... This place is freaking me out." He continued to walk, as Foxx began to walk with him down the street. They soon came up on an old looking gun shop. "Dude, I know you got a gun but all you have is a little pistol with limited ammunition. Maybe we should..ya know..loot the place? According to what I heard we should probably think about stocking up with weapons."

"Yea, you got your information off the internet. The same place that youtube idiots spend all their time. Come on you really think monsters just come out of thin air at random times just to tear people apart for the hell of it? Grow some brains.." He led him past the gun shop and stopped in the middle of the street. "I swear this place is like a ghost town... Where is everyone?"

"I don't know... You'd think there would be at least someone around..." Suddenly, there came the faint yet loud blaring of sirens echoing throughout the entire town, the town slowly turning completely dark. Draco blinked some and looked around the town, backing up into the middle of the street and walking towards the gun shop. "Now you gonna tell me what I've read is bullshit?" By the time he got to the gun shop, it was completely dark, and he ran into what felt like a brick wall. "Where's the door on this place?" He opened his maw and let out a small breath of flames to light his way, and blinked as he saw that the gun shop had been replaced by a brick wall. "Fuck..."

Foxx pulled out his flash light and flipped the switch, and growled. "Damn it I must have busted the bulb in this thing... How long can you keep that breath thing up?" He placed the light back in his belt and quickly ran towards Draco, grabbing his set of keys and undoing the cuffs binding his paws together. "Not for long. About a minute max, and about 30 seconds to recharge. Where'd the gun shop go???" Foxx looked up at the brick wall. "..I dunno... Looks like all we have is my pistol and a few mags of ammunition..." He pulled out his gun and loaded it with ammunition, his ears perking to an eerie sound coming from down the street.

Screech....grind...screech...grind...

"What the hell is that..." Draco looked down the street, his flame beginning to flicker some. "Maybe it's someone who can help us? Hey! What's going on in this place? And have you seen my son?" The approaching figure said nothing, just continued to slowly make its way towards them. As the figure came into view, they saw what appeared to be an athletic looking body with its head encased in a triangular metal box, holding a huge sword in its right hand. Just as it came into view, Draco's flame suddenly went out. "Crap.. Run!"

Just as Draco took off, Foxx took off after him, grabbing hold of his tail. "Wait for me! I can't see shit in this darkness..." He pulled out his gun with his other paw and continued to run right behind Draco. He could still hear the eerie grinding noise right behind them, growing closer and closer. "Come on dragon, we need light! Can you breathe fire again yet?" Draco stopped and turned around, unleashing a large breath of flames again for light as Foxx pulled his gun out and fired a few shots at the creature. "What is that thing?!" As Foxx continued to fire shot after shot at the creature, Draco quickly went in behind him and took cover.

The pyramid head grunted and fell back a few steps as its chest was penetrated by the bullets, before walking forwards again and lifting up its huge blade. It was about to swing at their heads, but suddenly let out a loud roar of pain and sunk down to one knee as Foxx shot a bullet through it's knee. He slowly stood back up again and reared his blade back, swinging it down again towards the two.

Foxx and Draco both dove to the ground, making pyramid head's blade go around and sink deep into a nearby brick wall. "Damn! What's it gonna take for this guy to fucking die?" The pyramid head pulled his blade back out and walked towards the two, raising his blade again. But before he could swing it again, he suddenly stopped and looked down at himself as his body began to deteriorate, natural light flooding the town once again. Pyramid head eventually deteriorated into dust, as Draco slowly stepped forwards again. "What the... What the hell was that?" Foxx looked around the entire town, holstering his gun and walking towards the church. "I dunno. But maybe we should head to the church. Because, you know, evil things like that usually can't get inside a church. That's what people say at least..."

The inside of the church looked like your typical old style cathedral. There was the large wooden Christian cross painted in a stained glass window that stretched from ceiling to floor just behind the preacher pulpit, wooden church pews, as well as stained glass paintings of Jesus and other more important Christian figures along the sides of the sanctuary. "Wow this place is huge. This church looks to be about...50 years old?" Draco stated as he walked down the middle between the pews. One of the first things he noticed was the fact that there was no fog or gloomy look to the inside of this church. Foxx walked in behind him and stopped, placing one of his paws on one of the pews. "Well, maybe we should run back here when the sirens go off."
