starting a story before ending another... wonder how this will work

I am planing on making this the longest story I make... EVER!!!

I had some time to spend home after discovering a rare amber sample... About a week ago a mine called us and said they found something that was... odd, like some fossil and wanted us to professionally remove it. There was indeed a fossil, the remains of a young triceratops.

While removing the rock around the trike I found the amber, I was asked to take it out, polish it and find a person that wants it.

I now have most of the rock and can almost see trough it, there is a dark spot in the center. Two hours later I had all of the rock off and polished enough to see some kind of bug in there. I think this amber will be worth a lot for an amber, it is so clear and this bug is adds a hundred bucks or so more.

I can now tell that it is a mosquito in the amber. I am using sandpaper grit sizes most people never even herd of... This is the smallest grit size I have 1000 grit sandpaper, such a small grit you would hardly even know you are touching sandpaper!

I take a picture of the finished amber and send it to a friend, she too is a paleontologist. When I said "us" and "we" a moment ago I meant me, Gena (the friend just mentioned) and frank. Along with the picture, I texted "look at the amber we found! what do you think, G?"

She texted back "WOW! awesome polish job there Jake! and is that a mosquito, J?"

I texted "Yeah, thats a mosquito!"

She texted "thats awesome!... gtg battery getting low. Good luck getting a buyer"

I texted "bye" and got no response.

She wished me luck because even with a awesome amber like this, not many museums want amber, they want cool, odd, different, weird, good condition or unique fossils. I could always sell it to a amateur collector. something I don't like doing because it is often for there eyes only or a gift for some kid that will break it or try to eat it or something.

But I have worked something out. A month ago the first dinosaur to ever set foot on planet earth in over 65 million years was hatched by me, in front of my investors. It was just a modified chicken egg, so it will be born with teeth, a tail, arms and claws. They where amazed by this dinosaur and started funding us.

Only a few hundred miles from the cost of Cuba, I own a island. 100 miles wide at its widest and 150 from tip to tip, it's almost shaped like a triangle.

I have a reinforced chicken coop for my first creation and the two other ones I made. the first one is almost blonde the other ones are brown. they have all grown to the size of there mother... And while I consider myself to be the mom, I mean the biological mom. And they are only a month old!

They seem to be omnivorous, eating chicken feed, bugs, eggs and scraps of meat I toss in from KFC, mcdonalds and other places. They also appear to be smarter as they have tried to escape the cage, so I put cement for the walls as tall as they are... Stopped them pretty quick.

I have started to modify two ostrich eggs and make two dinosaurs out of that. I expect them to hatch in a week and two days.

I have the enclosure almost finished, it goes three feet into the ground, has a three foot wall of cement and four feet of chain link fence on top of that, this enclosure goes 100 feet by 100 feet in a perfect square. enough room for two normal ostriches.

My investors have been helping me come up with a name for my little... uh, park. Jurassic Park and Jurassic World gets tossed in quite a bit... We plan on opening a month from when the ostrich-saurus hatch, so we need a park name idea.

A week later, Gena comes to visit my little island and watch the ostrich-saurus hatch. That morning, before she arrives I look in a mirror to work down my wild fur. Once thats done, I look like a average, calm, tame wolf with fur completely grey all over. But I am anything but tame, LOOK AT THESE DINOSAURS!! that enough proof that I ain't tame!

Gena arrives on my island by boat, I completely covered the trip cost. She knocks on the door. I open the door to see Gena, a arctic fox with her fur ruffled by the strong wind today. I say "Hi Gena"

She said "Hi Jake! how are you?"

I said "I'm doing fantastic! and you?"

She said "I'm good, very excited for the hatching"

I said "no investors this time, just a camera" she nodded. I said "We where expecting them to hatch in two days time... But they look like they are ready to hatch in only a few hours!"

She asked "how can you tell?"

I said "we can take ultrasounds and x-rays to guess when they are ready to hatch" she nodded. I said "uh... we where going for a gallimimus look from the ostrich, so we never gave it teeth, we just elongated the beak into the right shape"

We took a seat next to the eggs in the incubator and watched. Some time passed and a little alarm went off, it was my i-pod, it told me egg one was ready to hatch soon. I said "Its time" and the alarm for egg two was ready to hatch.

The first egg cracked almost the entire way around the egg and the top started to push up, this half started to crack even more, it was getting covered in cracks and the second egg started to crack the same as the first one. The first eggs top shattered and exposed the baby ostrich-saurus, it stuck its head up and made a little peep sound.

The second egg cracked open and did the same, they both kicked the inside of the egg to break it enough to step out on very wobbly legs and fell over and started peeping quickly. I said "lets get these guys over to the containment incubator" and picked one up, Gena picked one up and I led the way.

The containment incubator is just that, a incubator that contains young birds and keep them warm until they can stand and produce there own body heat enough that they don't freeze to death.

We put the baby ostrich-saurus in the incubator. I said "I got to get there first meal... keep a eye on them" and I walked into the "kitchen"

Seeds, leaves, vegetables and some dried bugs is what these guys get to eat, when they get older we will see what they like best and what they need. I put the food in the incubator and sit down to watch them peck the mix. they do look like ostriches, except there tail and clawed arms, they look very much like a gallimimus with soft downy feathers.

A few day pass and Gena has to leave, we are at the door and I ask "any ideas for the park name?"

She thought long and hard. Than said "how about... uh... Dinosaurs: Recreated"

I said " sounds more like a documentary"

She than said "how about... *GASP* cretce... no... how about... OH! Mesozoic Park!"

I say "you know... thats good... thats a awesome name!"

She said "thanks... I owe you one for the free trip"

I said "the name is all the pay I needed" she blushed. I said "I have plans for the amber"

She asked "what?"

I said "If I can get dinosaur DNA than I could make more dinosaur than bird creations"

We said our good byes and Gena left for the boat.
