#2 of Darker Stories

A continuation of my darker story done up because of a suggestion to do so from http://www.furaffinity.net/user/damientheroo who also did a bit of proofreading of it. Also got to thank http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kyouti for going through it and picking out some grammar issues.

This story is pretty dark in comparison to my other stories but if you give it a read I hope you enjoy it, Comments are welcome.

Butch belongs to me.

The Big Bad Bear part 2

It was a typical sunny day though it still felt dreary, Arron lifted his head up and peeked through the small window he had in his prison cell the sight of the blue sky and clouds brought a bit of happiness to his day, it had been a few weeks now since his betrayal at the trial for the death of the bouncer and undercover cop. He'd gotten used to the comments from the guards and inmates though the thought that he'd be here for the rest of his life while Butch got away made him growl. He got up off his bed and let them cuff him before getting in line with the rest of the inmates. After being released to the yard he moved to take a seat on one of the benches before spotting someone not dressed like an inmate or guard approaching him.

"Your name is Arron right?" The human asked with a slight grin on his face.

"Yeah that's my name... what do you need?" Arron shifted a bit on the bench doing his best to get comfortable as the man pulled out a small booklet.

"I heard about the trial and wanted to find out a bit more about y-" he stopped talking as the black bear stood up.

"Listen buddy I've already told as many folks as I could about what happened that night." He growled lightly before noticing the man was nodding.

"I know you think everybody is out to try and twist your words for their own use but, I'd like to hear what you have to say about the events that got you here. If I believed everything I read I wouldn't be here." He said with a smile as Arron sat back onto the bench.

"Butch framed me for the death of our bouncer at the night club and the undercover cop. He told the cops that arrived to watch him strangling me that he was going to get revenge for those two.... He never gave a damn about anyone in that place but him." Arron looked down as he went over it in his head.

"Why didn't you just tell them that while at the trial?" the man asked while quirking a brow to the black bear's story.

"Do you think I didn't try that? Butch has a lot more money than you'd think and influence. All he had to do to override my word was wave a few rolls of green at folks. I watched it happen right in front of me." He nodded over to a cop "He paid that man to push him through the system as clean so he could get back to prep for things."

The human nodded and took note of the police officer. "Do you have any way to back up all of this?"

Arron held his head "T-the only thing I could think of are the bodies of the two... he ate them so he had to drop them off somewhere..."

The human smiles wide at that before looking up as an idea hit him. "Do you know where he'd put said... 'drop offs' I mean if you are truthful about all this then I-"

"He'd always get rid of them the same way, flushed down at his home away from work." Arron sighed and kept his eyes to the ground.

"How would you know of that unless..." The man shifted position a bit to get comfy again.

"Because... I was his assistant..." Arron looked around "I know I did bad by helping that bastard cover it up but I never killed any of those people." He said with a shudder.

"You know that still doesn't sound good for you... right."

"Yeah I know but him getting away with all of that pisses me off." Arron kept his paws on his head for a moment before looking up to the human that was smiling.

"If there is any truth to what you say, this story will be huge." The human paced about looking excited.

"What are you going to do?" He blinked a bit confused.

"Well, I could go check in on these claims and see if anything holds up. But if I do, you are going to give me every detail you can about Butch and all the horrible things he does." He smiled and pulled out a small booklet to jot down notes. "So where is Butch's home away from home?"

Arron held his head again as he thought it over before rattling off the address to the journalist "Listen if you are going to go snooping around you make sure you aren't found by that bear... it won't end well for you."

The human smirked "All the big stories require a bit of risk. I'll be back with what I can find and we'll see about going from there."

The black bear stood up looking to the guards overlooking the area then back to the foolish man in front of him, his only hope to escape. "You watch your back around them as well, no telling how many are under his influence." He said before watching the man take off and getting lead back through the prison to be let out.

The rest of the day and the next few after seemed to pass by rather uneventfully, Arron couldn't be bothered to keep track, and he kept to his self when they were left to do what they liked in the yard. He was starting to lose what hope he had. He waited nearly a week before requesting a chance to make a call.

He could hear it ringing "Come on... pick up." He bit his lower lip as he waited, a bit of dread taking over when he heard it picked up.

"Hello?" Butch said in a curt tone.

"Butch, it's-" He is cut off by a sigh from the big bear on the other end. A shiver ran down his spine knowing he was playing with fire.

"Arron... how is prison life? Nice and comfy huh got a bed to lay on, meals daily and some freedom out in the yard." Butch sounded agitated that he had been called.

"When are you going to get me the hell out of here? I did everything I was told to." Arron said with a light growl.

"Listen, you aren't a cub any more you know someone has to fall for this, now... If you ever call me again. There isn't a cell they can put you in that'll save you from me and I'll make you wish that they would have just gone with an execution... Who the fuck is th-"

Arron hung up quickly and looked around as a chill ran down his spine, feeling he knew exactly who Butch had seen. He looked about from where he was standing before rushing at the nearest inmate and began to punch and kick at him until they were pulled apart with him being lead towards solitary. He only stopped his flailing when he was tossed into the small cell with a double secured door. He moved to sit on the bed provided before slowly curling up tight fear gripping his heart as he tried to relax there, eventually sleep found him.

It was hours before Arron would perk his ears up to the sound of the doors far down the hallway leading to the cells that he had been taken to. He slowly sat up, the tiny sliver that served as a window failed to illuminate anything with only a star or two visible. He rubbed his eyes a bit before he'd hear a few light knocks from the solid door. "What do you want?"

"Is that how you greet old friends." Those words made him shudder as he recognized the voice and quickly moved to sit with his back against the wall trying to get as far away from the door as possible. It didn't stop the door from opening, Butch stood there at the doorway a grin on his face, a light in one paw and the other held tight to a bruised and beaten human.

"Is this a joke to you? After I made sure that they weren't going to kill you... you send this little pipsqueak after me?" Butch tossed the human in close, the journalist coughed up blood and shuddered not able to move much with his injuries.

"I-I didn't send-" His voice caught in his throat as the big grizzly stepped into the small cell. He shook, his body not responding to his wants to try and rush past the grizzly.

"He couldn't have found my place without some sort of help, help you offered. So while you may not have asked him to look into me, you did point him towards me. You do know I have to punish you for this." Butch said with a slight grin on his muzzle.

A short otter slowly peeked into the cell "Sir I don't mean to be a pain but the guard did say we could only have a few minutes and as good as my story telling is I don't think we want to push this much longer."

Arron blinked a bit at the smaller male before looking to Butch, his eyes would travel down to the beaten human.

"He has been a rather lovely replacement for you." Butch said before leaning down to grab the back of the man's head and pulled him up onto his knees before dragging him right up to Arron. "Open up your mouth."

Arron shook his head and put his arms up over his head as if to try and curl up tight enough that the grizzly couldn't get to him. He didn't get far before Butch started to punch and kick at him each blow making him gasp for his breath and hold his sides.

"Open your fucking mouth before I break your god damned jaw." Butch punctuated the sentence with a kick to Arron's groin.

The pain was immeasurable and left him gasping for air, on one of his deeper breaths the man's head was shoved into his mouth making the already hard task nigh impossible but Butch didn't stop there, before he could spit the man's head out Butch shoved the human in deeper stretching out his jaw and throat. Arron groaned and shuddered as his air way was blocked, he fought and flailed at Butch as long as he could before starting to gulp and end up helping the big grizzly with the task as the human was forced down his throat, his belly starting to swell wide, Butch smirked and shoved the fellow's feet in and clamped Arron's jaw shut to force him to keep the man swallowed.

"There we go be a good little fat bear, can you feel him shifting and squirming his last moments away. How does it feel hm?"Butch leaned in close getting down on a knee to get a bit more snug to the shivering bear. "Your meal today was supplied by a nosy human and a guard who likes the green stuff and let us in. So don't waste it." He said with a smirk before taking his paw off of Arron's muzzle and giving the smaller black bear a bear hug, Arron squirmed and groaned as he was squeezed tight fearful his body wasn't going to take it much more before the sounds of breaking bones could be heard from Arron's gut. "Didn't want you thinking you'd be able to save him." Butch said before letting the smaller bear go. "Let's go there is only one loose end to this problem now." Butch said with a chuckle as he stepped out of the cell, the otter giving one last peek in at the winded and bruised black bear before locking the door back up.

All Arron could bring himself to do is cry as he laid back on the floor of his cell, it really hadn't been any trouble for that monster to find himself a way to him. He shuddered and held his gut as it gurgled and groaned over the broken body of the man inside his one ally in all of this. Everything hurt and was painful to move, his breathing alone making him wince. He laid there on his side and closed his eyes praying it'd all go away. An achy painful sleep soon found him.

The next few days were rather lonesome guards barely came by if at all only to toss in a bit of food and water at him. He slowly transferred himself to his bed while his belly slowly processed the poor human who had come to him and wanted to help. Using the bathroom was painful for many reasons but each time a bone slide out and clacked into the bowl he shuddered a bit before flushing it away. It was on one of these days a guard delivered him a letter. The contents simply read "Do you want to take down Butch?" with checkboxes next to yes and no. He quirked a brow to the question before borrowing the guard's pen to fill in the Yes box and sent it back with him.

Only hours after sending the note back he was made to leave the cell and was led to room to meet with whomever it was that had asked him. The guards left as the otter from that night walked in in a business suit. "You!? Is this some sort of sick j-"

The otter waved off his comment "Listen I've only been in your shoes for a while now and I can tell you Butch is unstable as all hell. But if I bring up the details that'll get him put in jail it'll be my words and evidence against his influence, I need some back up in case he gets to some of the folks in there."

"Is that it? You are just going to go to trial with him and try to put that monster away? I'm sure you have tons of evidence as his new assistant, so why do you need me!?" Arron asked already feeling a bit off about all of this.

"I figured you'd like to be free from here is all. That and..." the otter got out a few legal documents "You technically still own a small part of that nightclub that Butch runs, and I own none of it... If you will hand over control of that small frozen asset of yours, I get you out, a hefty amount of cash to get your life together and we both get Butch locked away... I'd say that is wins all the way around."

Arron was dumbfounded by the otter's take on things before sighing as he looked over the documents "Where do I have to sign." He said before taking a deep breath, the otter pointed at the few lines he had to sign which he did with a bit of speed. "Now when can I plan to get out of here?"

"All in due time Arron. But expect to be ready to spill all the details you have in a day or so. Alright?" The otter grins and stows the document away.

Arron smiled slightly as he was brought back to his cell, things finally looking up for a change. As the days passed by he thought over all the folks that Butch had disposed of and all the folks he had blackmailed or paid off.

The day he was pulled from the jail to the courthouse he was smiling, when he was led into the room, at first he looked confused seeing the otter standing next to Butch, a moment later he is led to a spot to sit as the otter moves to stand opposite of Butch.

The trial took ages as the two went back and forth the otter bringing up the altered footage of the prison, the eaten guard along with more than a few digestion cases and of folks disappearing from the nightclub with pictures and other evidence to add proof. When Arron was brought forward to explain the other horrible things Butch had done along with where the evidence could be found he watched as Butch's face went from a light amusement to annoyed and angry.

The judge took it all in and the jury had been given a chance to take a break. Arron didn't know what to expect but when the verdict was guilty he wanted to jump up and dance as Butch was quickly pinned cuffed when he lunged at him only to be led away while his own were taken off thanks to the otter's input, he ran up to hug the otter tight the two smiling at their victory.

"Thank you for getting me out of there." Arron said after settling down at the bar of the otter's new nightclub.

"Hehe it was the least I could do, I get to keep the joint here." The otter handed him a small cell phone and a roll of money "The phone has my number in it already in case you want to chat or maybe want a job here, not like the one you had before."

"Thank you... Mr.?" Arron asked feeling a bit odd that he had never learned the otter's name before all this had gone down.

"My name is Sam, it's been a pleasure working with you Arron, I hope you find a good spot to start up a new life of your own." He said with a smile and patted the bear's shoulder.

Arron then slowly stood up from the bar "I'll see you around Sam, might just take you up on that offer." He said with a sigh before heading out of town to a rather simple motel and booked himself a room for the night, he unpacked his clothes the few books he had and sat back on the bed, he flopped back doing his best to take it all in, things were better.

It was starting to get dark before he slowly sat up and turned on the TV and began flipping through the channels before coming up on an urgent news story the reporter on screen seemed frantic.

"We are reporting from the local prison where just a few moments ago we got a report that most of the guards were missing and the inmates are running loose throughout the building." She said into the mic while the camera took a panning shot of what few police officers were available were helping to get the inmates back inside. One of the officers walked up and spoke with her a moment. "This just in, Inmate Butch is nowhere to be seen, be on the lookout and report to your local police office if he is spotted." A picture of Butch was posted to the screen before he quickly shut it off and grabbed up the cell phone he got and called Sam.

"Hello?" Sam sounded a bit confused, there was a bit of music playing but the room otherwise sounded quiet.

"Listen to me! Butch got out!" He held his chest a bit doing his best to keep from panicking.

"What do yo-"

"Just turn on the TV if you don't believe me, lock the doors do whatever-" he was cut off by a loud snapping sound as the door was kicked in.

"What the hell!" was all that Sam got out of his mouth before Arron could hear the otter gasping for air, acking softly as he was kept quiet

Arron quickly ended the call and tried to call the police only to get a busy line. He almost wanted to cry again as he closed the phone only to yelp as he started to get a call from Sam's phone. He hesitantly accepted and lifted the phone to his ear only to cringe and slam the phone shut when he was greeted by the muffled screams and gurgling noise of the otter in Butch's gut. He panted and curled up a bit on the bed before he tossed the phone hard at the wall to shatter it to keep from being called again. He put his paws to his face crying into them, he slowly pulled the blanket up over him and prayed that Butch wouldn't find where he was. Troubled sleep slowly followed.

A loud knock at the front door woke him up, Arron slowly scooted away from the door towards the edge of the bed, only to hear the wood bend and snap a bit before that door slammed open his jaw dropped as he looked over the large grizzly standing at the doorway, the big bear's stare sent a shiver down his spine. He couldn't even bring himself to speak as Butch slowly stepped inside.

"So, did you think I was going to let this little... transgression... slip by?" Butch said with a deep growl as he neared the bed.

Arron's eyes watered as the bear closed in on him, this was it, even if he could get out and around the bear there was no way he'd out run the grizzly or his methods. Butch lunged at him and it all went black.

Butch smiled as he sat back in his office chair, the familiar sounds of loud music drifted up from the floor boards. The trip across the sea and the new freedom was worth every penny. He shifted about in his seat and pulled out a small photo of him and Arron back at the old club before hearing the door open to his office.

"Uh sir, we seem to have a problem guest down at the bar." The female polar bear said while peeking inside.

"I know what that is like." Butch slowly got up and headed to the door to wrap his arms around his new assistant in a gentle hug "You know how to handle a problem like an unruly customer, don't you?" He asked with a grin on his face.

She smiled and hugged him back before leaning up to kiss him on the lips. "Yes I do, but I didn't want to take action before consulting you first." She rumbled softly as she pulled back.

"Just remember to take what remains when you are done and deposit them elsewhere." He smirked and gave her rump a playful swat.

"Oh!" she blushed at the swat before poking his nose "Careful what you play with sir." She said with a grin before heading back downstairs.

Butch smiled and sat back down at his desk. "You see Arron; if you had just been a little more into it everything would have been fine." He gave a few pats to his big belly. "But hey at least you added to something so good looking." He said with a smirk before rubbing over his doughy gut.
