#1 of Silent Hill

Prologue "...I don't know why they did this to me. I didn't do anything to the people who lived in this town. I was a good little boy, yet some of the people who lived here believed me to be evil incarnate for some reason. This group of Baptist Christians, the same ones who speak of a loving god, showed me nothing but hate. They bound me by my arms and legs and burned me as if I was a witch, and succeeded in killing the small amount of evil inside me, the same evil and darkness that everyone has somewhere in their hearts. But during the process, they left me with full body 3rd and 4th degree burns. For once I wanted nothing more than to watch these people suffer for their crimes against me, and for their blaspheming against God..."

"Nnngh!!" Sampson suddenly shot up out of bed, panting hard, his red and black mane matted down with sweat. He slowly rose back up and switched on the light, before looking back at his bed. His covers and sheets were now in a tangled mess at the foot of his bed, and his pillow was soaked with sweat. "That's the 7th time in a row I've had that...that dream..." He sighed as he plopped back down on the bed, rethinking the various sights he had seen in his nightmares. "Silent Hill..." His head filled with images from his dreams. Images of a huge church building, of horrible creatures that lurked in darkness. His head still rang with the screams of agony that haunted his dreams, visions of fire and ash, and a vision of himself as well, or at least what he perceived to be himself. Suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted by Draco knocking on his door. "Come in dad.." Draco opened the door and walked inside, wearing nothing but a small pair of boxers and puffing on a cigarette. "Let me guess. You had that dream again?" He walked into his room and sat down on the bed, wrapping an arm around his sons back and pulling him in close. "Ya know, I've heard some pretty fucked up stories about that place. Maybe we should do some googling later? Maybe there's a reason for all these dreams." Sampson perked his ears and nuzzled some into Draco's chest. "Mmm.. Maybe. I keep seeing a clone of myself running through the town, and this huge church in the middle of the town. But every time the siren goes off, every thing goes dark and I wake up screaming..." He said with a loud sigh, before standing up and sliding into a pair of shorts. He walked out of his dimly lit room and into the hallway, sluggishly dragging his footpaws across the carpeted floor. "And it's the same thing every night. I'm beginning to wonder... What's going on?" Draco followed him close behind and walked into the kitchen, starting a pot of coffee for himself and leaning up against the counter. "I dunno. According to what I heard though, there was this group of extremist Christians there, and this boy about your age. They thought the boy to be Satan incarnate for some reason and burned him at the stake like a witch. They killed the evil part of him, and the good part was left in the boys burnt body which was rescued before he died. Then one night, while the boy was in the hospital, they say his evil part came back and made a deal with him. It promised him revenge on the people of that town. It promised him that it would turn the entire town of Silent Hill into a living hell for its inhabitants. I dunno if I believe in all that, but I do think it's a bit weird that all that's ever found of people who enter the town are the cars they drove in with. No bodies are found, no other belongings, nothing." Sampson walked into the kitchen and prepared his own breakfast, a bowl of Frootloops and a package of poptarts. "....Really? It....it sounds awfully similar to my dream.." He sat down with his breakfast and ate quietly, mulling over things in his mind. "Hey.. Dad.. How about you and I visit Silent Hill for a bit? Just to see what is going on... We don't have to stay long.. Just for a bit. I need to find out something. He quickly finished his breakfast and stood up, brushing himself off. Draco poured himself a mug of coffee and shrugged some, taking a sip. "Sure. I don't believe in that ghost story BS, but if it'll make you feel any better, I don't see why not.." He walked into the living room and sat down infront of the tv with his coffee, as Sampson sat down on the couch with him. "Just let me finish my coffee and get ready, and we'll leave allright?" He slowly drank down the rest of his coffee and stood up from his seat, setting the mug down on the end table and walking into his room. "I'm sure it's nothing though. Maybe it's just your regular bad dream?" He threw on a quick t shirt and pair of boxers, before walking back out of his room again and walking into the living room. "I mean, sometimes people have bad dreams because of stuff that they see or experience in real life. Is there something going on? Like at school?" He grabbed his car keys and tucked them inside his pocket. "No.. Nothing unusual..." Sampson stood up and walked out the door of the house, before walking up to his dads white truck and climbing in the passengers seat and buckling his belt. Draco walked out as well and hopped in the drivers seat, before fastening his belt as well and starting the engine. He slowly backed out onto the road and started off down the street. "Well, it's gotta be something. To be honest, that ghost story crap sounds like the biggest load of BS I've ever heard." He stopped at a red light, then continued once the light was green. "Yea same here...but...it seemed so real..." He looked out the window at the landscape as it passed by and sighed softly to himself, his eyes slowly closing as they went out of town and down the road. Pretty soon, Sampson slowly drifted back off to sleep. Draco continued to drive down the road for around an hour or so, spotting a sign that read "Silent Hill: 10 Miles." "Finally.." He said to himself, turning up the radio. Sampson groaned softly in his sleep as his nightmares began to return. "N.. No... No!!!! Please stop!! Please!!" He suddenly began to thrash around in his seat, struggling against the seat belt as if it were binding him to a wooden steak. Draco jerked his head around towards his direction and blinked. "Son? Sampson? Dude wake up!" He reached over and gently nudged him on the shoulder, yet Sampson still continued to thrash and scream out in terror. Draco quickly stopped the vehicle and climbed out, running around to the other side of the truck and pulling Sampson out, before raising a hand and slapping him hard across the head. "Wake up! Wake up!" He growled loudly as he began to shake him hard. Finally Sampsons crying stopped, and he slowly looked back up at his father with terror filling his eyes. "I.. I had a dream again... It was worse... They.. They were burning me at the steak and calling me demon... It felt so real, I felt every flame against my skin..." He sighed some and leaned into his fathers chest, wrapping his arms around his back, starting to feel safe once again. "Daddy this is starting to scare me so much... It's too weird to be a coincidence..." Draco was beginning to wonder as well, but he didn't say anything, just kept his son held close and slowly rubbed his back. "Well whatever it is, I promise we'll find out and do something about it allright?" Meanwhile, another one who had been driving behind them down the road slowed down and gasped as he saw Draco slapping and violently shaking his son. Foxx, or Officer Foxx to be more specific stopped his police bike behind the truck and hopped off. "Step away from the boy sir. You're under arrest." He pulled out his cuffs and proceeded to walk towards the dragon. Draco looked up at Foxx and waved his hands out in defense. "No, it's not what it looks like. You see my son was having a bad dream and it was the only way I could get him to wake up..." Foxx didn't listen to a word he said. "Yea yea, tell it to the judge. I know what I saw..." "I'm telling you I didn't' mean any harm.." Draco pushed Foxx back away and set Sampson back in the passenger seat of the truck, before running around the front and hopping in the drivers seat. Draco sped down the road towards the turn labeled "Silent Hill" and veered off towards that turn, making his way as fast as he could across the side of the mountain. Foxx sighed to himself and hopped back on his bike, soon in quick pursuit of the white truck. "This is Officer Foxx. I'm in pursuit of a white Chevrolet pickup truck, license plate number CHZ-2697. I caught the suspect beating a younger kid, who he claims was his son. As they sped along the road, Draco kept checking his rear view mirror and growled some as he saw Officer Foxx on his police bike gaining on them pretty quickly. "If he wants to catch me he will catch me in Silent Hill.." He floored the throttle and sped off faster down the road, towards an older bridge with a metal gate blocking the way. "Ain't nothing for a Chevy." He said as they blew past the gate and continued down the road. "DAD! Look out!" Draco gasped as a rough looking young boy passed by the road right infront of them. He slammed on his brakes and veered off into the left lane, the pickup truck skidding sideways and beginning to spin out of control. Sampson curled up and screamed, planning his feet on the dash of the truck and grabbing on to the door handle as the truck finaly came to an abrupt stop, forcing Draco to hit his head hard up against the side of the door. "...Mmmm... Huh...?" Draco slowly stirred back awake again and rubbed his throbbing head. His head felt like it got hit head on by a locomotive. "Fuck.. Where am I..Sampson?" He looked over at the passenger seat, seeing an empty seat and an open door where Sampson should have been. "Sampson!!" He called out, stepping out of the truck and looking around. That's when he saw Officer Foxx laying on the ground on top of his wrecked bike, right behind his trick which had a huge dent in the tailgate. "Ouch.. Hey you ok officer?" He walked up towards him and gently nudged his shoulder. Foxx slowly stirred awake and looked up at him. "Yea I'm ok..and you're still under arrest....where's the kid? What did you do with him?" Foxx stood up and walked around to the passenger seat of the truck, surprised he didn't see any real signs of a struggle, or rape either. "I don't know, I'm serious.." Draco said, rubbing the back of his head. "I got ko'ed in that accident, and when I came too Sampson was gone and the door was open... I promise I'm telling the truth. We got to find him." Foxx rolled his eyes and pulled out his cuffs, cuffing Draco' paws behind his back. "Yea whatever, we'll find your kid ok? So don't worry. Anyways, I'm gonna call for a cop car and have you taken down town. Now come." Foxx led him down the road and pulled out his radio. "This is Officer Foxx. I have apprehended aforementioned suspect, though I have also wrecked my bike. I need a cop car here asap." All he got back, however, was a loud static sound as if the radio was busted. "Must have busted the radio during the..." His words were cut off as he came to a huge gap in the road, covered in fog. "What the...where'd the road go..?"
