It's Howlereen.....in November. Eh, at least Cloricia had fun.

November 1, 2015: Howlereen

Whoa!!!! The strike is over. Thank god. I thought I would lose my freakin' mind, but now I can go back to training camp, I can work with my team, I can see Josh.....I mean my team....still, I can go back to playing basketball. Heck yea. I'm going straight back to Huntsville and....oh wait, ....Teresa, or my "assistant". Man, why did I agree to this. This is an important year. My last year on contract. I can't have her mess this up.....I'm sure I have nothing to worry about. Hey, on the bright side, they're bringing back Howlereen and Wendy is playing. So, I decided to get some tickets to that and bring Teresa. I gave her her first job as my....assistant....man that sounds weird. Anyway, I gave her some money to go get some costumes when we get to Montana.

She slept during the whole flight. I was just spending some time watching movies. Once we finally got to the hotel, she was like a 5 year old.

"Oh my god. Girl?....I've never been in Montana in my life and now I'm here to go a basketball game and sit right behind the players!" She said as we walked into our room.

"Alright, alright, calm down." I said. "It's not that big a deal. I just want to support my teammate and then we gotta go back to Huntsville."

"Alright. Cálmate." She said. "Come on Tex, it's okay to have a little fun."

"Yea, not sure you're the best person to use those words."

"Fine then." She then sat down on the bed and let her suitcase fall to the floor.

"Uh, you gonna unpack?" I asked.

"I will later. I'm trying to get mentally ready for this awesome game."

"Oh yea, You still need to get us costumes. Get some good ones okay?" I said as I put some money next to her.

She looked at it for a moment and said. "50 bucks? I might need more than that."

"Girl just get us good costumes that won't cost me my whole contract." I said.

She laughed and then got up from the bed. She then nudged me playfully and said.

"Can I have 100?"

"100?" I said in utter shock. "Para qué?"

"Just trust me okay?"

She gave this innocent look and had her tail between her legs. I groaned, but I guess I had to trust her. I gave her 50 more bucks. She wagged her tail happily and said.

"Gracias! See you in an hour!" She then rushed out the door.

That crazy Coyote better not waste my money. I guess this is a good first test for her. Let's see if my 'assistant' can get the job done.

The hour went by pretty smoothly and sure enough, Teresa was banging on the door with her paw, calling my name.

"Oh miss Cloriciaaaaaaa!" She said. "Come on, it's game time!"

I got up and opened the door and I was in total shock from what I saw. This crazy coyote is in a witch costume, with a big smile on her face. She got the hat and everything. She then tried to do a witch's laugh and said:

"Ha ha ha! Guess what we're gonna be?" She then revealed a bag that she hid behind her.

"You needed a hundred dollars for these two witch costumes?" I said as I grabbed the bag.

"Nah. The costumes were only 50."

"Okayyyy....so where is the rest of the money?"

"With Steve"

"Who the hell is Steve?"

"Our driver for the day."

I was shocked again. "You got us a driver?"

"Yea" She said excitedly. She then handed me my witch hat. "I met him when I left the store. A very nice wolf. I told him about you and it turns out that he's a Mayors fan."

"Really?"

"Yea, he said that he would love to drive us to the game and he'll even take us to the airport tomorrow for free."

My ears perked up. I couldn't believe what I had just heard.

"You got him to take us for free?" I said.

"Girls, You act surprised. I already told you. I'm good at negotiating. Now put on that witch hat and let's go to Howlerween!"

I laughed and quickly changed into my witch costume. Teresa and I took some pictures and made some scary faces and then we headed for the stadium. A drive to the game, a drive to the airport, cool costumes. For her first day, Teresa was just an awesome assistant....no, an awesome friend. Hermanas de por vida. Sisters for life.

The game was awesome too. I talked to Wendy before the game. She didn't seem too excited about the game, but she told me that she was still happy to play again. This was not the best game for her, but it did go to overtime. Me and Teresa were going crazy in our seats the whole game too. There was this new kid, his name was Sterling blingsting....or bernstein....I don't remember his last name, but for a rookie, he did really good. Gonna have to watch him this season. Anyways, after the close game, Wendy's team still won and me and Teresa went out that night as two crazy witches looking for a good time, ha!
