Walking up to gates was laughable, in my mind. I was just imagining the form, Alduin Raptormaster, POW.It was ludicrous. The only thing more ridiculous was the idea that Silverine was about to suffer the same temporary fate. It's just as well the cameras were fooled by disguises, I could just see the cameraman looking at his camera wondering how in the nine worlds he's gotten a picture resembling the upper chest of a wolf. Or how my picture had no fur, no pointed ears, and a wicked expression of mirth and evil humour.

I felt the soft sand underneath my feet, and then the solid steel of the foundations of the gate.We were led through the gates, they opened automatically on our approach, and saw hundreds of lynxes milling about. The other prisoners regarded us with interest, Silverine because he was tall, and we were led to the first building, directly in front of the gates. It was large and wooden, and looked important, because it was under constant guard.

Shaw's office was in there, and he handed us all a bracelet as we entered..

"This is your prisoner identity number. You are responsible for wearing at all times, especially during rolecall. Failure to do so will get you solitary. You will have to make your own way to beds. You are hereby prisoners of war, and thus you will behave with decorum to all officers. I understand you are all civilians, that is unfortunate.Simba, I wish to talk with you, the rest of you, dismissed."

"Simba."I said in fluent Centralite,"In the quite likely case of a break out, can you switch forms overnight, I would like a Tripod cousin."

"If you guys are intending to break out, I am most certainly going to try the Tripod form." Draco spoke over his wavelength,"I want to know why it's so popular with that human."

"And I will also." Simba replied, and me, Silverine and Winslo walked out.

Silverine immediately led us towards one of the bunk rooms.

"Seeing as we're only here for a day, don't get into any fights over bed space, I am quite happy to sleep on the floor."

"Lupogriff, they don't have a bed your size, I bet you." I replied. Winslo merely smiled. Two or three of the prisoners walked up to us.

"You are the new fellows, correct?"

Silverine nodded.

"Right," the man nodded,"I am the officer in charge of the prison block..."

"We are civilian prisoners, officer." Winslo replied firmly.

"Civilians? Here?" the officer lynx looked at us.

"Yes, we ran into Noah and his company during a firefight with our captors, we aren't military at all."

"Noah, you say? That old devil's still about then, good."

"Bit of a well known name, sir?" I asked, interested.

"Noah Chimaera is a very special lynx. While some of us are well versed in magical effects, he has a power beyond us, the ability to change form. His form is that of Chimaera, hence the last name, and his ability in that form are mighty to behold."

"Transformation, you say?" Silverine looked at me with a grin. I shrugged.

"Sounds handy."

"Well, it has it's disadvantages, but lots of good things. Magic is an art, I've always said."

The ground around Winslo frosted over with ice, spilling every which way around us like snake tendrils.

"Winslo, just because you are magical doesn't me we are." I turned to the innocent bunny, feeling my feet turn cold. The officer looked praiseful of the disguised Winslo.

"You can cast magic."

"I can cast many spells, not just with ice."

"So how did they capture you?"

"They didn't know, I'm not showing them, yet."

The officer smiled."Good chap. What about you other two, you have abilities?"

"Not particularly magical." Silverine admitted," What I am is quite enough. If we can follow this conversation privately..."

"Certainly, follow me." he led us into a bunk room, where two or three lynxes were milling about. The officer asked them politely to leave for the duration, and they did so.

Silverine looked around at the dimly lit room."Right, now don't be surprised."

They jumped, anyone would. Silverine was near brushing the roof, and the officer looked somewhat scared.

"You can change into that?"

"I am this. This is my normal body. What you saw out there was a disguise, a mere illusion. We are aliens from another world, our task to find out about this planet, and we didn't really want to have to gun down those trying to capture us at the time."

"Although times change." I looked roofwards, and the officer looked at me.

"None of you look like us, do you?"

Winslo dropped his disguise, and I changed into my Tripod form before dropping mine. The officer took it bravely, his second in commands weren't quite so staunch. I extended a tentacle, which gripped the officer's hand.

"I am Alduin, this is one of my forms." I said politely, gently shaking paw. The officer grabbed my tentacle with a bit more force, and nodded to me. I let go, and changed back to my bionic form before putting my disguise back up, followed by the other two.

"So what do you want?" the lynx asked.

"Firstly, your name."

I am called Toque." the lynx replied.

"And secondly, we need to find out about this planet. Draco's party, our friends, are doing the same with Noah and three of him company who had been scouting around the camp, so we need some information too."

Draco clicked on." Hey Silverine, I've got this idea."

Silverine spoke back, a grin on his face."Does it involved Noah coming back with us to Central? If so, do you know what's he capable of doing?"

"Yes to the first, no to the second, how did you know?"

"He's apparently quite well known amongst the prisoners.Ask him to do his trick."

This was relayed, and Noah blushed.

"Well, I'm not sure, I am violent in that form."

"How so?" Draco perked up, quite happy to wrestle anything violent Noah should change into.

"Well, I am mostly homicidal when angry, a wall of defensive claws if sad, and if feeling sexual, liable to screw anything that takes my fancy."

Draco laughed, and clapped his hands."Very well, fuck me if you can."

"That's not as easy as it sounds, Noah. Draco's very, very choosy." Brendan commented. Noah flushed, and looked at the dragon.

He placed his hands together, closed his eyes, and began to morph. It looked painful, it probably was, and the single lynx began to change into a two headed mythical beast. One head was that of a panther, it's black fur clashing nicely with it's bristling white teeth. The second was that of a a dragon, golden in colour, and the two heads looked at Draco ravenously. His body was that of a long sleek panther, and the tail was long and reptilian, a small armoured club at the tip which could break a lynx's arm.His wings were reptilian too. Draco bent down.

"Wow, he's got two of those too."

WHAT!

Disbelief crossed all four of us at the prison camp. This lynx, in his chimaera form, had two members? Lucky bastard. A glance through Brendan's glasses confirmed it, one feline, one reptilian, one above the other, and both bordering on a foot in length.

"Don't tell the girls." Orion said,"We'll never get him away from them."

Everyone, including Noah and his companions, burst out laughing. Noah looked around the room with both heads, and then back at Draco. Draco flicked his hand over, and chuckled.

"Bring it on."

Noah judged the distance to the dragon, preparing to pounce, when Draco charged first.Never let the savage predator time to spring, lesson number one for Earth and anywhere else. Draco dived on the chimaera, and as Noah tried to jump back, Draco grabbed one of Noah's front paws. With a heave,he pulled Noah closer, and the chimaera fought hard, pulling the dragon back with him. Draco got onto his knees, and launched another assault, this time holding on firmly before. He got both legs with one arm, and with the other managed to grab around the upper waist, between the wings and two shoulder blades.

Noah struggled wildly, but Draco was nigh unbeatable in close combat, especially in the current position. He pushed Noah onto the ground, pulling himself forcefully behind the chimaera, and then grabbing Noah around the waist with both arms. The chimaera was lifted into the air, flailing wildly with both heads, paws and wings, but Draco fell forwards, triumphantly on top. Noah changed back to his lynx form, and whined in submission.Draco lifted his weight off the lynx, and smiled. Noah looked nervous of the dragon, and a little embarrassed.

Draco ruffled the lynx's hair.

"You fight well, Noah. You deserve some compliment for that." he reached down, and began stroking the lynx's cock, while pressing hard against the lynx's ass with his own cock. I sighed and shut off the link.Draco was right, he did fight well, and he would be good as a scout, but why does that dragon insist in having intercourse when ever possible? I turned to Toque, who was talking with his junior officers.

"Toque, do you mind if we have a cook's tour of the place. I love wide spread chaos and destruction, and it would help if I knew what to aim at."

Toque shivered, looking at me. Silverine smiled in sympathy at the officer.

"He acts like this all the time, Toque. My advice, when he goes nuts tomorrow, keep your head down."

Toque looked timidly between the two of us."Which of you is in charge?"

Winslo pointed at Silverine, Silverine smirked, and pointed at me. I thought sod it, and pointed at Winslo. Toque gave a nervous laugh, while we tried not to giggle. I aimed at Silverine with my pointed digit, and he shook his head to Toque.

"I am in charge of this lot, though sometimes I wonder if that's actually the case?"

"He's commenting on my unpredictable behaviour." I said casually, leaning a bunk, looking at Toque.

Simba arrived back, and took up a seat, beginning the deep coma like trance that was required to change forms. The three of us who weren't doing this made sure we were as we had been walking in, made sure we had our discs, and then followed Toque back into the exterior.

The entire camp was based on sand, the buildings were merely concrete blocks with buildings on top. Tunnelling was damn nigh impossible on this terrain. The barbed wire and machine gun towers made sure nothing escaped above ground. It didn't surprise me that only two lynxes had escaped from this camp in three years.

Both had gotten out in carts and other forms of transport. The front line was two hours from where we had been picked up, Noah's band had been passed by, and hadn't been able to get back to their headquarters. The nearest friendly territory was the same place. Two big buildings at one end of the camp was the captor's barracks and living quarters. Then next to them was the large admin building we had gone to, and from then on it was just various prison things, bunk rooms, kitchens, washrooms, and in the centre, a small empty pitch for games.

They were playing football, kicking a soccer ball of a sort down the length of the pitch. I jogged over, now everything had been explained, and asked if I could join in.

"Sure, you're going that way, score 3-5 to us!" there was some laughter, hmm, two goals down, no problem.

I was given the ball from one of my team mates back at our goal, and I dribbled up the pitch, coming towards three lynxes of the opposition team.

As they made to tackle, I saw one of my team running down the left wing, and I made to kick right, punting it down field. I skewed it into my right foot, and the ricochet bounced over towards the winger. I darted past the opposition, and followed the winger down field. He was blocked by two lynxes, and he kicked it back to me. I spun with it, dodged a tackle, and from fifteen metres had a shot at goal.

It was a screamer of a shot. The ball kissed perfectly off my boot, curving towards the left post, and the goalie dived, just getting a hand to it and putting it into the corner.

"Watch that one, guys, he's got one hell of a power kick!" the captain of our friendly opposition shouted.

Because I had kicked it, I had to take the corner kick, and with seventeen lynxes in the box, I went with what I knew.

I took the kick at a hideous angle, and the ball curved like a banana, heading into the box. Everyone went up for it, goalie included, but the ball kept curving, and they all watched as the ball went sailing between the unguarded posts. I had done this several times, it was all a matter of what angle you connected with the ball. I saluted everyone and walked back towards the half way line, my team mates congratulating me, and the opposition looking gob smacked.

After ten minutes, their goalie complained that his arms and hands were severely bruised. I hammered solid shots in from several angles, and my runs allowed my team mates to do the same, hence all the blocking the goalie had to do.Our team scored another goal to make it level, while I almost added into the lead with a twenty metre special that brushed over the rudimentary cross bar and bounced heavily against a bunk room.

Silverine, I noticed, was watching from the side line, and by the looks of the lynxes next to him, Toque and Winslo. I waved to them, as with five minutes in the game, we got another run going. I dodged past a defender, received the ball from a nicely executed pass, and took a left foot shot that screamed off the goalie's gloves and into the air vertically. As two of my team mates rushed up, I spoke to them.

"Pick him up, you head it in!"

I grabbed one of the lynxes legs, and my team mate did also. Three metres above the ground, the lynx made contact with the ball, and the despairing and busy goalie tipped it again for another corner. We let our striker down, and he smiled.

"That almost worked." and went off to take the corner. I nodded at the other.

"Cheers. Now let's win this." he followed me until we were at twenty three metres in front of the goal. I went back another five, and he stood there, catching the corner taker's eye. I prepared to charge.

The corner was taken, and the ball went hard and fast to the lynx in question. I charged as everyone began moving, and he stepped away as I hefted the the ball with a full right boot. The ball flashed through a suddenly widening gap of players, and even the goal keeper couldn't stop it from sailing through the goal, through the air, into the bunkroom and into a pair of lynxes before bouncing back.

I stumbled to a stop next to the prone goalie, and watched the ball bounce back out the door, and one lynx arrive at the door rubbing his arm. He looked at us for a second, and then kicked the ball back to us and then firmly closed the door.

"I was wrong, he's got an insane power kick." the goalie replied as he got off the ground. I helped him to his feet, and brushed the sand off him.

"Good game, mate." I slapped him comradely on the shoulder, and he smiled.

"Where did you learn to play like that?"

"I have several friends who play, we had endless games." I replied, as the final whistle blew. The captain of our team, the same guy who had trapped the ball, was called Sergeant Liga, and the goalie of their team was simply known as Spike.

Spike and Liga led me to a new bunk room, where a good seven or eight others were talking around laughing. I was boosted up onto a bunk, and Liga sat beside me. He was handsome looking lynx, his fur a muscular gold, where as most were slightly darker, or even a lot darker. I was introduced as Alduin, the striker, and everyone took notice of me. I was of interest because I was a good player, and they were apparently delighted by my courteous behaviour. I said nothing about my plans for tomorrow to these lynxes. Silverine had suggested to Toque that we would make it seem as though we were attacking everyone.Every lynx would be for himself, or so it would appear.

Winslo and Silverine turned up, and we spoke in Centralite about this plan. During morning roll count, we would get down somewhere hard to spot, and Winslo would cast his meteor spell around us, making sure none of the intense lights landed on us, and as the smoke rose, we'd put down a scanner and retrieve Draco. Silverine and Winslo would go back to Noah's base, and let us three Tripods run rampant. Draco was most approving of this plan. We were told to destroy the buildings and the fences, the towers had to be dealt with but not in a way that killed the gunners, and caused a stampede of guards and prisoners alike. We'd herd them all out through the main gate side.

None of the lynxes were on this plan, not even Toque was informed of hows. We just told him to keep his head down and run. The other advantage of doing it during roll count was that everyone would be outside, so we could nuke all the buildings with our ray on max. I was yet to see what happened to a building when confronted with a setting nine blast from our heat ray. Toque had thoughtfully set up accommodation for us, and we whiled the afternoon away, while Noah and Bruno's company told Draco and the remainder of the scouts what we needed to know.

I noticed several of the males around of us were looking rather ravenous, and also deprived. They were feeling in great need of sexual relief, and food. Liga, when I spotted him doing so, looked at me in a manner I could only call savage, he wanted to fuck someone, but his rank and status prevented him from saying or doing anything. I casually placed a tracker in his jacket pocket, and shotgunned him for after the battle tomorrow. I would follow into the jungle, and as they all spread out and ran, I would take him somewhere quiet and do what he wanted. Silverine laughed when I suggested this, and replied in Centralite that I was starting too late, he was going to get it tonight knowing some of the looks he was getting. Simba still hadn't come out of his deep yoga sleep, and didn't until late evening.

Winslo created some food to relieve some of the lynxes hunger, but it was not much, his creations being slightly quenching, but magical food is not that filling. Toque and one of his bodyguards promptly drew him away, and in the empty bunk room for him and his bodyguards, entered sex as well. Silverine went over there to either a: break it up or b: join in, and my X-ray showed him and Winslo with the two lynxes, in varying states of sex. I smiled through the X-ray view, and conversed with Simba on our plan. He agreed it was definitely a good idea, and made small refinements to the plan.

His idea was dividing and conquering. Because of the size of the camp, Simba and Draco would take a side of the camp, and systematically destroy all buildings, fences, towers and such in their way. I would go straight down the middle, blasting stuff out of my way, and herd them to the main gate. By then the gates should have been opened, and while we finished wrecking the camp, they would get into the jungle. Then we would break up, and do various things. Simba himself wanted to catch up with Toque and Shaw and coerce them into working together. Draco wanted to raze the place to the ground, and burn anything else that came into my mind. I wanted to give Liga and possibly Spike the sexual relief they wanted.

And then Abigail rang up, and changed the plan again.

"You guys are declaring war, tomorrow, is that correct?"

"Yes, why?"

"I'm bringing the Scorpion."

Oooh, evil shiver. The idea of the sixty eight ton battle tank charging around gave me the heebie jeebies, and with Abigail, well she'd give any of us a run for our money. She was ordered to target buildings in the centre, while Draco and Simba would work the towers and fencing. We didn't want lynxes getting killed.

Abigail had no problem with this again, and I made a mental note for someone to keep a recording eye on Abby and anything she fired at. I wanted to see one of these buildings when confronted with a high explosive round from the Halo game tank.

She hadn't made any other high weaponry vehicles, yet, and the helicopter wouldn't be much good in the current field.

Silverine volunteered to gun, leaving Winslo, Orion, Javid, Landon and Brendan to get Noah and Bruno's team out of there and back to their own lines by teleport, and then take Noah back to Central. I left a message on my glasses to scare Noah the same way I did to Nord. That was O.K., there wasn't one of those five that I wouldn't trust with my life. All of them were exceptionally intelligent, provided in Brendan's case that you kept him away from sugar, but even he was devious, and his strength was impressive.

Silverine would be in the gunner's seat, but he would be 'buttoned', making sure he was unable to be seen by any of the lynxes. His job was cover fire, helping me with my herding and shooting near any lynxes who ran the wrong way. The plan was refined to perfection, and me and Simba went back to Toque's quarters for sleep. He had his own four bed room, of which two were taken by his guards.

As we walked in, Toque was on his back, his legs in the air above him, and receiving Silverine deeply in his ass. Silverine was still looking like a lynx. Meanwhile Winslo was fucking the other officer against the wall. I jumped into the top bunk, along with Silverine once he had finished, and Simba shared with Toque.

"I've got a lion as a bed mate, this hasn't happened before." he commented, as Winslo and the guard shared the third bunk, which meant the other body guard got his bed to himself. We were all disguised, but Toque could feel the lion's differences as they slept brushing against one another. Silverine embraced me, and we went to sleep in a tight hug.

I woke fast in the morning. It was early morning by their reckoning, and still about an hour until they called roll call. I was unable to shift myself without waking Silverine, but he didn't mind. Simba was woken, as was Winslo, and the four of us got up and headed towards the back of the camp. We went mostly unnoticed at this early hour, the sun was still rising, and Simba used a disguising device to make our little corner a mere extension of the building, and so we hid inside this disguise, waiting for the appropriate moment. The way the teleport went, the tank would land in the place that wouldn't harm anyone or anything, so that would be straight in the middle of the path between two bunk rooms.

Thus we waited. Winslo chanted to boost his magical powers, while I placed down a scanner.Draco appeared in our ill lit disguised room, for while it was a disguise, we had it rigged to make it slightly dark, and the dragon stretched his wings. Winslo stayed. The majority of his comet spells would land on the building, and he was chanting in advance, placing each one individually to topple the building and cause a smoke screen. Abigail announced that the tank was ready and that so was she. Brendan announced that Noah and Bruno were back at their home base now, they had moved early, which wouldn't have made a lot of difference. They had set a scanner for Winslo when he teleported.

I asked how people were reacting to their presence, and Brendan commented the entire head quarters had initially panicked, but they were now being treated as heroes for bringing back Noah. They hadn't mentioned our attack, and furthermore all of them were disguised as lynxes. The officer had assumed the Brendan's gang were a tactically special forces group, like freelancers in a game of Halo, and that they had befriended Noah's group. Noah and Bruno had been sworn to secrecy by Draco before he had left.

The sun rose over the building, and we saw early risers walking around. Toque stormed past, speaking to several sergeants, Liga among them. Toque wanted to know where we had gone, and none of them knew. Toque didn't discuss our plans with anyone, he had been sworn to secrecy with what he knew, and they walked off, discussing various things. The minutes towards the roll call went down, until five minutes before roll call, we heard a large bell, tolling in a funeral like way, and lynxes began flooding out of buildings, heading towards the pitch where we had played soccer.

There was an awful amount of shuffling amongst them, so our quiet conversations went without anyone finding out. Winslo began preparing the spell, Abigail had calculated the amount of time it would take to arrive here, and so was exactly thirty seven seconds ahead of us. The remaining quarter of a minute was for Winslo to dump his spell and hare off. Draco, Simba and I changed into our Tripod forms with only two minutes to go, and Silverine whispered that we looked creepy.

The light was pretty good by now outside, the sun did rise quickly, and we heard a stentorian voice echo, that of the prison leader, Mr Shaw. He was not going to like what was happening next, hell, none of the lynxes were going to like this. He spoke firmly and loudly as Abigail teleported.

"Right, by the left, attention!" there was some shuffling, and then Winslo began casting the spell for proper.

"Form your lines!" twenty seconds to go.

"Now, newcomers, step forwards, to be assigned into your lines!"

There was silence, fifteen seconds to go.

"I repeat...."

What happened next needs to be explained very carefully. Winslo let go the spell with a gesture of his arms, and as we looked up, twelve little comets of light came whistling down, hammering down into the building next to us. The rafters shattered, the walls collapsed, and the entire building crumpled up like a deck of cards. Silverine ducked down as splinters went absolutely everywhere, along with the odd bit of metal from the hinges and such.

A huge cloud of dust enveloped the square, and Winslo grabbed our disguised wall, our scanner, and waited for Abigail to arrive. She did, the tank suddenly right next to us, and the bunny vanished with a brushing of his teleporter. The dust slowly began to dissipate, although the wind was practically non existent. I engaged my thermo briefly, and saw Silverine jump into the tank with Abigail, and that everyone over by the square, all the lynxes had stopped and were looking at the dust cloud.

The dust hung for at least thirty seconds, while we set our heat rays to the acceptable levels. Abigail had got her tank loading automatically, and Silverine had set his machine gun from his vanished position. She started the tank up, and it's engine must have caused some of the lynxes to worry.Well, technically speaking they had a lot to worry about fifteen seconds, but the engine of the tank was very throaty and deep, suggesting bigness. Then we began to turn around and walk across the ruin of the building.

The pneumatic thumps of our feet would have added more confusion and horror, and what was worse for them was whenever we walked across lengths of wood, there was a series of almighty cracking noises, as the wood splintered underneath the slamming of our robotic feet. Abigail selected first gear, and began moving to our left, but we were spotted first by the lynxes as the dust settled suddenly.

Like a magic trick we arrived out of the dust, three glittering Tripods, machines of metal. Our heat rays, underneath our glowing red eyes, crackled with electricity, and as we slammed to a halt just off the concrete of the no longer intact building, I noticed the slight uneven heights between the three of us. Draco was approaching ten feet in height, he was bigger than me, although Simba was much the same as me. The dust would not stick to us, our alloy was coating in a special solution that was non stick.

Then I paid attention to what we were supposed to be fighting. The lynxes were staring in fear and horror, Shaw was only ten metres away from us, and Toque only three metres behind that. All of them, every single lynx whether it was captor or prisoner looked in mind numbing fear at these three weird machines, and then they saw the Scorpion. The tank turned it's barrel to face the throng, and I pitched a high note, and then screamed it through my metallic filters.

The noise, so eerily distorted, rang back and forth across every ear. The nearer lynxes flinched in terror, and the further took steps away. Then everything happened at once, almost as soon as the sound died away.
