Playground of the Serpent

The sun poked through a patchy cloud cover that blanketed Klyneth, threatening to pour rain on the tropical metropolis. It had been a long day already and Ceylon was ready to head west; his den was in the foothills of the great mountain range of Saff'Rald, and in it was his mate Leera. It may have been a long day, but he was enjoying his time in the market, purchasing food and the other amenities he'd planned to acquire during his weekly shopping excursion. His saddle bags were already filled with spices, incense, trinkets, and even a few tightly bagged whole vermin for snacking on, but he still had one last stop before he left the marketplace. He still had to get his fresh produce, and that was always a task of dire importance, for any meal needed fresh veggies to feel and taste its best.

What veggies did he want? Who would show up and eat with him? How much should he get so that it didn't go bad before eating it? What went best with the proteins he had bought? Did anything go with trapped, pre-killed vermin? So many questions, so few answers. Rather than dwell on the complexity of overlapping flavor combinations, he got the usual: two peppers of each color, three red onions, two sweet eironnè, some various smoked and fresh hot peppers, broccoli, carrots, Green Onions, kuchi root, one bag of apples, and one bag of oranges.

The usual.

However, when he was picking each of the freshest of each vegetable and fruit, he heard a familiar voice chirping from the other side of the merchant's crescent-moon of tables.

"Hey! I'm down here! Sir? Sir!"

Ceylon perked his ear up and started to pad his way around the outer rim of the merchant's stand. He knew the voice, but couldn't place it even though it was a higher pitch and very distinct. As he was trying to remember those he'd seen in the preceeding years, he heard another unrelated but similarly familiar voice - this one more of a squeak than a chirp.

"Excuse me! My friend is looking for...hey! We have coin! I'm hungry!"

Yes, those voices were definitely familiar, and the moment Ceylon saw their sources hop up onto a pile of barrels on the opposite side the merchant stand, he instinctively laid his talon over his beak, ashamed he didn't immediately recognize either of them. It was Hida and Kitnip, two tiny friends of his hat he'd met up with from time to time in the eastern nations. Though both were similar and likely enjoyed similar company, Ceylon had never seen them together and didn't know they knew each other beyond what Ceylon spoke of the other.

Hida was a tiny little dragon of blue scales and a cute, frilly neck, and was no bigger than Kitnip the goggle-wearing mouse. Both of them were hopping up and making all sorts of noise to differentiate themselves from the masses. Their tiny, shrill voices barely registered over the dull roar of the crowd.

Ceylon chuckled to himself as he watched the two of them desperately trying to get the merchant's attention so they could give him a coin or two - especially cute when the coins were half the size of them - only to be ignored and nearly stepped on or squished by people's bags on the pile of barrels. It was cute to watch, but Ceylon had to do something about it since he hated his friends getting ignored because of their diminutive stature.

He motioned for the merchant to give him the smallest mango and the smallest banana in addition to the produce he'd already purchased. He gave the coin with a silver tip as thanks and carried both over to his tiny friends.

"Ceylon!" They squeak-chirped in unison as soon as they finally saw the gryphon part the crowd.

He dropped the two pieces of fruit on the barrels next to the mouse and dragon, laughing at their unfortunate situation. "Oh you two, when will you learn it's best to get a guide when shopping in the market? Also, when did you two meet? I didn't know you knew each other."

Hida chirped a bit and kick-scratched at the underside of his frill with his hind leg before diving over to the banana, peeling the skin back and burying his muzzle in it. He chewed at it a bit and swallowed, cleaning his maw of the sticky mush before answering. "Well, sometimes I just fly places, and, yeah!" He gave a wide-mawed smile and chirped again, spreading his wings as he took another big bite, this time answering with a gullet full of banana. "I was Kit's mount! He was riding me all over! Met over in the tavern a few weeks ago, and we've been touring Klyneth together ever since!"

Kitnip stepped up to the mango and drew a tiny sword no bigger than a common steak knife to stab at it, slicing out a wedge of the red and purple flesh of the fruit. "Thanks for this!" He squeaked as he took a bite, adjusting his goggles a bit to get them out of the way of the fruit slice. "It has certainly been a bit of a mess trying to get the attention we need to succeed; little critters in the big city, and all."

"Well, you two can put your coin away. I've got you covered, but I'm on my way out of town. I'll gladly carry you to wherever you wanna go next; I don't mind going a bit out of the way for friends." Ceylon positioned his body sideways with a wing outstretched to form a bridge from shoulder to the barrels where his friends were sitting.

Hida chirped and took another few bites of the banana, forcing his head in deep to the mostly un-peeled skin to get the last of the fruit, with only his hind and and tail sticking out the end of the tube of emptied banana skin. Once he got the last of it, he pulled back out and hopped over to Ceylon's wing, cleaning himself with a smug grin on his face as he hopped over the broad feathers that were wider than he was.

Kitnip finished his slice of mango and carved himself out another one, stabbing it with the tip of his little sword before following. He had a wide grin across his face as well, his tail dancing and making shapes behind him. "And Hida's been a perfect mount for me! Flies so fast!" He made little whipping motions with his tail, imitating an erratic flight pattern.

Once the two were on Ceylon's back, they both navigated the thick feathers between his wing shoulders and up to the back of his neck to nestle in between his fluffy ears. While there, Kitnip leaned into one of the ears and jokingly asked, "Helloooo, anyone in there?"

Ceylon flicked his ear a bit, smacking Kitnip on the face and dislodging the mouse's goggles. "Be nice now." The gryphon warned.

Hida just grabbed onto some feathers with his hind talons and raised his front talons to the air, spreading his wings to catch the light gusts that zipped in between the other shoppers of the merchant's stand. "I'm flyyyinnng!"

"You could before!" Kitnip chuckled.

"Oh, you two just wait until I spread my wings. Then you'll feel the wind on your whiskers and neck frills!" Ceylon joked at them, folding his ears back against his skull and spreading his wings as far as they would go in the relatively crowded marketplace.

Both tiny riders grabbed on tight, making a worried cry in anticipation of a sudden lift off.

Ceylon just folded his wings back up and laughed, gently shaking his head. "Oh you two, I'm not going to fly. I'm heading back to my den. So, anywhere else you two want to go that I can drop you off?"

Kitnip inched forward on Ceylon's head so that he was just above his eyes, leaning over so that Ceylon could see him. "Actually, we heard about the Vore House. Some cheetah fellow said he met up with a snake there named Leera, and that she was the most wonderful predator he'd ever seen! We were gonna go see her, see if little critters like us could fill her belly!"

The azure scaled dragon had a blush spread across his cheeks as he hid behind Ceylon's ear.

"Oh, well normally I'd say no problem, but Leera's not available right now. Not for a few days, anyway." Ceylon explained, twitching his ear as Hida nuzzled against it, tickling him. "She's at home, relaxing."

"Why's that?" Kitnip squeaked. "And how do you know that?"

"Oh, she's my mate, actually! Been together for many years. She practices a lot of her predatory skills on me before introducing them to you lucky Vore House patrons! Anyway, she's out of season at the moment, so she can't safely work. Are you familiar with her cycles?"

Hida's frills extended as Ceylon told of his relation to the predator they'd come to see, but was still flustered at the question. "N-no, what do you mean?" Hida chirped, finally coming out from behind Ceylon's ear to join Kitnip looking down at the gryphon's blue eyes. "And you know Leera? I bet she's wonderful to catch the heart of a gryphon! Tell us all about her!"

"Heh. Well, Leera's my mate, dear. Has been since before the Vore House was around. Did you not know that?" Ceylon smiled and laughed a bit, but explained further before they could respond. "She and Yetzer both - in fact, every naga saurossin - have a weird digestive cycle, lasts about forty-eight days. One dozen of those days, she digests normally, and she's about as safe to 'tour' as a regular snake. She also gets moody, hungry, and a bit more aggressive. The other thirty-six days her saliva and digestive fluids are flushed out and replaced with a peculiar fluid that little critters such as yourself can actually inhale into the lungs safely while keeping ya alive and comfortable."

"Yeah, I read something about that in the little flyer the green lizard was handing out at the eatery. I didn't know it was on a cycle." Kitnip mused, mostly to himself as he sat back on the gryphon's skull. "I did know about her fluids, though. I just thought it was a potion or something."

"Well how do you think she eats? She has to sustain herself somehow, or else she'd starve to death!" Ceylon chuckled again. They were still powering their way through the walkways of the north end of Klyneth, nearly out of town.

Both Hida and Kitnip sat back down between the pair of fluffy ears, huffing a bit, disappointed.

"What's wrong?" Ceylon asked. He couldn't see them from that angle, but he could hear their disapproval.

There was a bit of a pause before Kitnip squeaked his answer. "Well, we were really hoping to meet her, you know? It's why we each came to Klyneth in the first place. That green lizard was handing out flyers across the sea - same one here in the eatery - over in Urien by the brothel. Smart, but then that cheetah came around raving about it, saying he had met with the lead predator, and that it was wonderful. I Don't think he saw me, but I was sold! I have to see her!"

Hida chirped in agreement. "I actually was here, when I heard about it. Same thing, though. Definitely have to meet her. But, I guess we can wait. Might take us a while to get there, since it's so far out of town. Hey, if we start walking now, we might get there in a few days when she returns!"

"Oh no. No, that won't do! No, I'm gonna take you to go meet her!" Ceylon announced with a smile spread across his beak. "There's no way you're not coming with me to see her. Hold on tight!" Before either mouse or dragon had time to protest, Ceylon spread his wings, leaped into the air, flutter hopped for leverage, and kicked off a building before catching the slightest gust to bring him up above the city.

The wind whipping over the feathers of his head made it impossible to hear if Kitnip and Hida were speaking - be they protesting or declaring exclamations of joy - but he could feel both of them holding on tight and laying flat against his skull as he flapped his wings, gaining more and more altitude, the city spread out in all directions beneath him.

Klyneth was huge, quite possibly the biggest of all the capitol cities of Dalon, and the urban sprawl seemed to spread out in all directions beneath him. In the center of town was the six path central with the world famous Fountain of the Dieties; each of the six paths would lead to a different area of town. The westbound path was what Ceylon needed to follow. His den was just off that road once the city and farms dissipated into the trade route leading south of the Saff'Raldian Mountain range. The northeast bound route was the Urto trade route, the major roadway that the Vore House resided on. That's where Hida and Kit were going to go, but Ceylon was taking them back to his den.

Westbound he glided, letting the thermals coming off the city's many buildings keep him buoyed in the sky, barely needing to flap to keep altitude. About a half hour's worth of flight later, and he was finally hovering over the outer rim of Klyneth, where the tightly packed homes, businesses, and apartments gave way to a more sparse and spread out patchwork of farmland. Only a few more minutes before the trade route pushed westward to wrap around the southern rim of the great forest; from there, he would head north into the foothills of the mountain to find his den.

His home was hidden deep in the tropical rainforest; no paths led to the patch of land he called home. No, he didn't need people visiting or harassing him or his mate. No, he could fly and she preferred to travel with belly flat against the mossy jungle floor, where nobody could see her.

Near his home was a large rock with a special symbol carved into it with mosses and flowers adorning it; only flyers could see it, and only he knew what it meant. From there, his eyes trailed to the northeast until he saw the cave opening that would lead to his den. He angled his wing tips and dove into a spiral, plummeting to the ground before flaring out the wings to stop mere meters from getting tangled up in the dense canopy.

Once he was sure of his stability, he glided over the tree tips and made one final lurch to push through, landing on the ground next to the cave opening, skidding to a stop as his claws made rivets in the dirt.

As soon as he was safely on the ground, Hida and Kitnip both hopped from his head to land on the ground, both of them stumbling around and looking a little sick. Hida's neck feathers were ruffled and standing on end, his eyes wide.

Ceylon preened his wing feathers to re-align them after pushing through the dense canopy. "You two alright?"

Kitnip blinked and squinted up at Ceylon, slowly putting his goggles on. "I wish you would have given me more time, I could have put these on instead of holding on to your feathers for my dear little mousey life!" He pulled and let them snap again before letting them rest up on his forehead again.

"Well, I did warn you. Come on in." Ceylon nodded with a smile before stepping forward, pushing some hanging vines out of the way to invite the two critters into his den, though he was careful to not let them go in too far ahead of him. Leera may have been in a mood.

Hida happily sauntered in, head held high as he adjusted the feathers on his neck, Kitnip in next to him, both absolutely dwarfed by Ceylon. The den was nicely lit, with powerful candles and glass bulbs to amplify the light. However, both were greeted by the silken ribbon of earthy-colored scales that was Leera as she slithered her way out from a small hole in the far wall. She was flicking her tongue as she trained her eyes on the two little snacks before Ceylon stepped between her and them.

Both of the guests were wide-eyed in awe, smiles curling up on their lips, slack jawed as the large, powerful form of the snake positioned itself in front of them.

"Leera, dear, these are our guests, Kitnip and Hida! Old friends of mine!"

She lifted her body a bit to start at Ceylon, the intense green of her irises trained on the gryphon. She flicked her tongue at him as her body shifted, forming a coil behind her like she was about to strike.

Sensing she may have been in feral mood, Ceylon stepped forward to rub his beak against her snout, but she violently jerked backwards, the s-bend of her neck tight against her coils. She was definitely ready to strike, so Ceylon had only one option; he stepped towards her and laid his palm on her head, careful to not let his talons snag her scales. This way, she'd regain some of her lucidity rather than lunge at him.

Ceylon looked back at Hida and Kitnip, both were hugging each other tight, shivering in fear, having shifted from wonder to worry. It was clear this massive snake wanted to eat them like tiny little snacks. "Don't worry, she's fine now." Ceylon assured them before lifting his talon from her broad, muscular head.

She slowly lifted her head to Ceylon's eye height as she flicked her tongue again, this time slowly and pushed out to its full length. She took in a deep, long breath before blinking and smiling. "Yesss. I am fine now." She confirmed with a hissp before slipping her head and neck between Ceylon's limbs to greet her guests, offering a polite kiss by flicking her tongue out, barely touching their snouts. "Pleasure to meet you!"

Slowly, Kitnip pushed from Hida and reached out to press his tiny little mouse paw against her snout. He smiled and nodded as he blushed a bit, a nervous look washing over his visage. As she leaned into his hand, his nervousness began to fade and her chirped his approval. "Oh, pleasure to meet ya!" He got a wide smile across his face and his eyes squinted in a matching smile, giggling a bit as her tongue slapped his neck and chest, coaxing another set of gentle squeaks.

Hida crept forth on all fours, keeping his body low to the ground, belly practically dragging along the soft bark and dirt of the floor. He angled his neck up to also press his snout against Leera, apparently trying to catch a slap of the snake's forked tongue. Once he felt it on his scales, he chirped in delight and pulled back, blushing a bit as his neck feathers floofed out.

"Wait, this is Leera? The flyers I saw made her look very, very different." Kitnip pondered as he leaned in, trying to get a better view in the dimly lit den. His eyes were still adjusting, but he was clearly not blind.

His observations were correct. Leera's colors were different from the flyers that they put out for the Vore House. Her patterns were much darker, and a bit more earthy but with more stark differences between the chocolate brown and the autumn leaf yellow.

Ceylon stepped over Leera as she spun her head to look at him. "You wanna front that question, dear? I think you'd say it better."

She turned back to look down at Kitnip and Hida, offering a warm grin to contrast the intense stare of her sparkling emerald green eyes. "You are correct, my mousey friend. The colors on the flyers we send out for advertisement are me in my work skin. I can change color, and those colors as well as the symbol on my back are for branding. Distinct colors and patterns are easy to remember. But as you can see, I'm not a bright green, I don't have red spots or blue lines. I don't have arms, and I don't have that peculiar pattern on my back. No, I'm much more boring than that. My natural colors are brown, lighter brown, and yellow. I wasn't born with arms, Ceylon taught me that trick. And the pattern on my back was also a transformation driven change. Not natural. It's all branding, you see."

Hida pushed forward past Kitnip and nuzzled at her snout, his tiny little muzzle easily fitting into the largest of her heat-sensing pits. "Oh, you're not boring! These colors are so pretty!" Hida assured her, feathers splaying out to tickle at her lips.

Kitnip stayed back, playing with his tail, barely able to look up at Leera's piercing slitted eyes. He was blushing and breathing heavy, lower lip trembling as a gentle wave of squeaks escaped his lips every time he exhaled.

Leera quickly picked up on this thanks to her heat-sensitive pits. "Oh, Little Kitnip, don't be so shy. Come on, hop on my snout, we're gonna go get more comfortable."

There was a bit of hesitation before the mouse finally got the confidence to hop up onto her broad snout, nestling in between her eyes, Hida following in tow.

The massive snake slithered her way across the soft bark on the floor with the tiny dragon and mouse on her snout. She was slow and her head steady, so she didn't shake them off or make them fall, since she didn't have any fur or feathers for them to grab onto. Hida was laying flat, his belly against her snout and tail dragging down in front of her maw so her tongue could bat at it with each curious flick. He giggled every time.

Ceylon turned and went to the kitchen and pantry areas to take off his saddle bags and put the food away. He had special slots for fruits, vegetables, and all other produce like spices and seasonings. He gathered some fruit and veggies and put them on a plate, chopping them up finely while also quick-roasting little cubes of beef with some of his magic. Once he was sure that the food would be enough for his guests, he hung the saddle bags up on a hook next to the door and returned to the main room of the den and couldn't help but laugh at what he saw.

Leera was coiled up next to the dinner table with a wide smile, tongue flicking out as Hida and Kitnip were having a fake fight. Kitnip had a dinner knife in his hand, wielding it like a two-handed broadsword, while Hida held a spoon in his maw, using it to defend against the mouse's fake, exaggerated attacks.

"Who's winning?" Ceylon asked as he placed the tray of cubed meat, veggies, fruits, and dips on the table, sidling up next to Leera as the two tiny critters put down their 'weapons'.

"Oh, nobody winning, just playing." Kitnip explained, only to jump a bit when he felt Leera's tongue slip between his legs, slapping at the underside of his tail before being slurped back up into her maw, effectively smell-tasting him. He paused and spun to look at her, but she had an intense look on her face, almost like she'd reverted to feral mode. The look on the mouse's face was one of fear and excitement, but he was quickly scooped up by Ceylon to stand next to the plate of food.

"Here, have something to nom. I'll be right back." Ceylon insisted before returning to the kitchen. He wanted something simple to eat, so he lit a fire in the oven and put in a roast. It would take a while before it was cooked, but that was fine. First and foremost, he wanted his guests to be happy.

Leera had started playing with the two of them by the second time Ceylon returned. She was poking her snout out at them, faking bites, and pretending to be a dragon they were slaying, until Hida's tail swept around as he tried to bap her on the nose with the spoon, tripping Kitnip. As though he was gravely offended, Kit hopped back to his feet and raised his knife (sword) to challenge him to another duel.

Rather than have them get busy attacking each other, Ceylon pushed the plate towards them, insisting they eat first. "Hey, I made some seasoned beef for you. Have some!"

The two stopped to glance at one another then up to Leera, then back to each other before dropping their weapons to go and sit next to the platter, each taking a bite of the tiny, cubed beef, happily munching on it as Leera looked down at them.

"Cute." She said as she rested her chin on the table. "So what are you having, dear?" She looked up to Ceylon, who was sitting on his hindquarters, one talon up on the table.

"I put a roast in the oven. Cut these pieces off for these two, but I'll have the rest later. No big deal. I'm a little hungry, but I think these two need to be fattened up a bit first."

Kitnip dropped his piece of meat before slowly glancing up to Leera. "F-fattened up? Why?" his expression was the same as before, a little anxious, but also excited.

Hida was a bit more transparent. His eyes went wide as he blushed, trying his hardest to hide the smile that was spreading across his maw. Then, he looked up to see Leera's green eyes staring down at him and he covered his face under his wing shoulders, too shy to imagine what the snake was going to do to him.

Leera leaned in and nudged at Hida's rump, flicking her tongue at him, the purple highlights of her cherry pink maw flesh glinting in the dancing candle light. "Don't worry, little dragon. He's being silly, I'm not gonna eat you until my cycle restarts. Plenty of time to fatten you up!"

Kitnip squeaked as he flicked his ears, playing with his tail.

Hida chirped and let his lower jaw tremble as his neck feathers trilled gently.

"Awww, I think you got them excited!" Ceylon joked as he nuzzled his beak against Hida's tiny snout. "Now eat up, we're all friends, here."

There was a sense of nervousness as Hida reached out over the lip of the plate to snag another small chunk of beef, occasionally glancing up to catch a glimpse of Leera's intense eyes. His body language kept shifting between cute, chipper, and eager with a more dire nervousness, like he was worried about her more feral side. It was kind of clear that the danger excited him a bit, even if he refused to outwardly acknowledge it.

Kitnip fared no better. He was a bit more bold than Hida, but he still seemed to harbor a deep seated worry when catching the eye of the massive snake that was hovering just above them over the table. She was pleasant, she was kind, but those eyes were intense, and it was clear by the way Ceylon referred to her that she had a bit of a problem controlling herself.

Ceylon could tell that both of them were growing more and more nervous, so he did what he always did when people were too shy to jump in: he pushed. With one fluid motion, he scooped both Hida and Kitnip up in his talon, the long claws caging them in as he hopped around the table to drop them both into the writhing mass of scales and flesh that was Leera's coiled up body.

The little dragon tried to flap his wings to maintain control, but still landed with a soft thud on the vast expanse that was Leera's muscled form. He quickly got to all fours and re-situated himself so that he could look up over her body to see her glowing green eyes staring down at him. He let out a high pitched, nervous chirp as he flattened himself against her body, making himself as small as he could and ensured his belly was flat against her sleek scales. He was delighted to feel her soft scales shifting and rubbing against his belly, but he was still worried, acting like a mouse thrown into a snake tank.

More like a mouse in a snake tank was Kitnip, who lacked the wings to right himself. He landed a few coils over, right in a crack between two segments of her body that were rubbing together, scales sliding in opposite directions under his feet. He had to get to all fours just to keep steady. "Hida?" He called, unable to see his dragon friend over one of Leera's coils.

"I'm over here!" Hida responded before flutter-hopping up onto Leera's highest curved body segment. He giggled a bit and danced from foot to foot as her scales shifted beneath him, her muscles twitching and contracting in waves.

Leera smiled and turned from the two of them to rest her head back on the table next to Ceylon. "Why'd you do that? Now they're just gonna be all nervous and scared!" She accused with a broad smile and a flick of her tongue.

"Oh, I'm sure they'll be fine." Ceylon assured her before returning to the kitchen to check on the roast and baste it a bit. He heard the chirping of the dragon and squeaking of the mouse both awkwardly balancing on his mate's shifting, tightly coiled body.

The mouse pattered about, twitching his whiskers nervously as he crawled on all fours, trying his best to keep from getting stuck between two coils. He felt his paw and tail occasionally get pinched between two walls of scales, forcing him to tug gently to free it from her body.

Hida was doing a bit better, having started to use his wings to flutter-hop up over her coils, playing and jumping over her form, occasionally stopping to press his body down against her scaled. He seemed to love it, and the chittering chirps he had escaping his gullet from under his breath sounded like a cat's purr. He was enjoying himself immensely until two of Leera's coils parted, exposing the base of her tail.

The little dragon focused his eyes in the dim light of the candles, watching with intent as her body shifted and rotated beneath him. He was shocked to see the narrow slit of pink flesh that was the opening of her vent, and he immediately looked up and gulped, glancing up at Leera to see if she noticed. She was still talking to Ceylon, but Ceylon was side-eyeing him, smiling an off-beak smirk.

He had to hold in another nervous chirp as he hopped over the coils to meet back up with Kitnip, who was still on all fours, trying his best to keep steady amidst the writhing mass of snake body.

"Awww, it's so cute, watching them hop over your body!" Ceylon mused as he glanced past Leera to keep en eye on the two critters that were on her, dwarfed by her body size.

"Oh, leave them be, I'm sure they'll get used to it!" She giggled and moved her body again, a powerful lurch of one of her coils pushing both Hida and Kitnip down onto her belly scales next to her opening. She knew they were there, but pretended she didn't feel their paws against the ventral scale next to her slit.

Ceylon offered her a knowing wink and a grin, but could no longer see them, so he leaned over and tried his best to catch little glimpses of the two of them lost in her tangle of coils.

Kitnip was blushing and doing his best to cover his mouth, holding back a squeak. Her ventral opening was right next to him, with Hida laying flat against the under side of her tail. He reached up as though he was about to call out to Ceylon to get him way from here, but instead balled his tiny paw up into a fist as he gingerly stepped his toes forward, closer to the moist, pink opening. Testing the waters, as it were.

Hida leaned in and looked down at her vent, unable to take his eyes off it. He did whisper to Kitnip in a very quiet voice that he hoped that Ceylon couldn't hear. "Do you think she knows we're here?"

Kitnip shook his head nervously, carefully re-adjusting his goggles to ensure her moving body didn't rub it off his head as one of her coils slid over them. "I don't think so. I'm pretty sure she'd-"

He was interrupted as Hida leaned forward with a single talon, gently poking at the soft, moist flesh of her vent, giving a rub before backing away, still laid flat against the under side of her tail. All the body around them seemed to tighten up in response to the touch, squeezing them against her soft scales.

The little mouse found Leera's powerful body pressing against him, holding him tight between her tail and a coil, squeezing his snout against her slit, the force and pressure holding him in place; all he could do was move his head a bit, nuzzling deeper into her opening. To his delight, he felt her flesh part and the pressure of her undulating muscles forced his snout to slip in; he felt his whiskers tickled as he wiggled his nose, smearing her fluids all over his muzzle. He shifted his body around until all he could feel was her flesh slide over his face, flattening his ears to his skull. Her vent was so large and him so small that his entire form fell into her soft, tender confines in a quick lurch, leaving only the tip of his tail poking out from her ventral scales as his feet kicked at the pink that smothered him.

Her lips and cloaca walls were smothering him on all sides, but there was no pressure squeezing him any more. If felt like he was floating in her fluids, gently caressed by her muscles as the world went dark. The little mouse was tiny compared to her passage, but her flesh still pressed against him, holding him in place amidst the fluids that filled in the cracks. He squirmed a bit, feeling her soft flesh rubbing against his forearms and paws. Her fluids gummed up his ears and the slits between his fingers. He smiled and let himself float in her nethers, ignoring the fact that he'd literally just been pushed up into her birth canal.

Hida was confused about what happened when Leera's body parted again, letting a single ray of light sparkle down between her coils. All he could see was the reflection glistening off the now-moist belly scales around her vent, and the tiniest hint of the mouse's tail sticking out from between her ventral scales.

His eyes went wide as his neck feathers splayed out, another deep blush forming on his cheeks; he was nervous and didn't know what to do, so he grabbed a hold of the mouse's tail and went to pull, digging his talons into the scales on the under side of her tail, but then stopped when he realized that....Leera wasn't responding negatively. She wasn't squeezing, she wasn't spasming in refusal to allow Kitnip to disappear into her. Instead, she was gently undulating her form in waves, indicating she was actually enjoying it, or at the least indifferent since Kitnip was so small compared to her.

Curious and with a hint of deviousness, Hida reached forward and pressed one of his talons against the soft flesh of one of her lips, peeling it back to expose Kitnip's feet, which were writhing and squirming in what seemed to be pleasure.

Hida glanced up, still nervous about what Leera might do, but only saw Ceylon smiling down at him from the opening between Leera's coils. The gryphon winked, and that gave the little dragon all the courage he needed to scramble forward, nuzzling his snout up into the soft flesh that was smothering Kitnip, using his talons and the leverage he had from the scales on the under side of Leera's tail to force himself in deeper, keeping his wings tight against his back to not have the claws on the tips snag at her tender flesh.

Ceylon continued to watch as Hida's form slowly disappeared, his torso snaking its way into Leera's vent, spine and tail moving in waves to push against her opening until all that could be seen was the very tip of his tail sticking out the end, twitching in delight as a tiny little bulge shifted a few belly scales up from her opening.

They were together, trapped in the abyss with only the faintest hint of light illuminating each other's forms. Kitnip was leaning into Hida, nuzzling into the dragon's neck as Hida's wings and tail wrapped around the two of them. Leera's incredibly soft, tender flesh smothered them from all angles, her fluids filling up the gaps between her folds and their limbs. It was as though they were being squished by brand new, lube-covered silk pillows full of the softest down.

Having finally run out of air from the deep inhalation he took before being forced between her ventral scales, Kitnip's body instinctively gasped for air, sucking the viscous fluid into his maw and nostrils, creating a violent and painful pressure in his chest for a moment before balancing out and giving him a warm feeling throughout.

Despite all that evolution had taught the mouse about the senses of drowning, the sensation actually felt pleasant, like adrenaline flowing through his chest, only warm and gentle rather than cold and sharp. He felt like he was instantly nodding off into a dreamlike state as he gulped and tried to squeak, only to have the fluid steal the sound from him.

Hida could glance gently at the form of Kitnip's gaping maw in the dark pink of the birth canal they were resting in, and it made him panic a bit. He, too, became painfully aware that he was still holding his breath and followed suit, his diaphragm sucking in as much air as it could, only to fill his lungs with Leera's fluid. Like Kitnip, he gasped and felt that familiar pressure in his chest before having it dissipate as his mind lapsed into a dream-like state.

Neither were particularly lucid, but they held tight to one another, nuzzling and nipping at each other as their bodies adapted to the peculiar environment of Leera's elongated birth canal and the breathable liquid that her soft, tender walls were secreting.

To them, it felt like they were floating, their bodies swaying gently in her depths, the copious samplings of the serpent's lubrication a slick layer of slime between them and the flesh that was pressing on them and held them in place. The silky walls were so soft on them that they felt only the gentlest massage rubbing them as the muscles squeezed and her passage contracted in peristaltic waves.

It felt like they were slipping in deeper, farther and farther away from the slit opening that they had been pushed and pulled into. The muscles kept squeezing from their tails to their heads, but the softness of the walls make them feel like they were floating in place, still gently rocking and bobbing in the naga's lubricating fluids with each gently movement of the snake's long, powerful body.

There was a powerful lurch of the body around them as the muscles contracted and the passage bent beneath them, only to extend and then shift them again in the other direction. It wasn't hard at all to tell that Leera was moving, her body bending and extending to slither across the soft bark floors of her and Ceylon's den.

Kitnip hugged Hida tight, nuzzling into his companion as the two travelled deeper and deeper through Leera's birth canal, eventually resting within what felt like a roomier, more generous chamber with even softer, silkier walls and much, much more fluid between them and the snug confines that encapsulated them. Only when one tried to kick or move did it feel like they really were snugly held inside, rather than being free to swim around.

Snug, cozy, and comforting. The womb felt like a warm bed on a cool morning, only much warmer, and much gooier. Yet, the longer they stayed curled up in each other's arms, the more comfortable they felt, and the less distracted they were by the deep discomfort of breathing the fluids into their lungs. Their minds were dancing as their bodies were rocking in the thin fluid that was coating their bodies and the walls around them.

Together, they found each other's comfort as dreams overtook them. As the muscles continued to contract, shifting their collective form deeper and deeper. Her womb must have been elongated, same as the rest of her body.

What seemed like hours passed as they pawed and nuzzled at one another, occasionally turning to nuzzle at the soft pillows of Leera's walls - the same mounds of tender, silky flesh that held them snug in place.

Hida dreamed of soft, snake maws and the tight confines of two friends from the south that he got to play around in during a particularly intense lovemaking session. He nuzzled up between two of the pillows of flesh as he remembered the time he was sat on by Ceylon, the gryph's rump cheeks and tender vulva smothering him before he got her attention. All of his memories of the various gullets he'd travelled down and the nether region's he'd been used to please came to swirl into his dreamscape all at once, mixing and matching scenarios before each converged into Leera's body, an internal vision of the two of them curled up in her snug, cozy pouch.

Kitnip was having a similar hallucination. It wasn't a dream, he wasn't asleep, since he was still acutely aware of the muscle contractions and the soft, rhythmic thudding of the pumping heart and the blood vessels that carried her blood throughout her form. He could feel her warmth, her fluids, and her body contracting, yet every new deep breath yielded yet another glimpse of a mare's rump, lips parted and tail lifted or the rump of a gryphon on their back. Gaping maws rushed toward him and slid over him, the soft walls of the gullet passing around him but never quite touching before he descended into darkness. Eventually, there'd be a light as the back end of the creature let him go only to have him fall into another gaping maw - this time a beak.

Time jumbled into a mess of lucidity and hallucination, seeming to pass all at once and slow as could be. Dozens of thoughts passed in rapid succession until a powerful, rough talon wrapped around them, the powerful claws trapping them in a cage before jerking them from their dream-like state all at once.

They were still wrapped around each other, Kitnip hugging Hida's torso while the tiny dragon's wings protected the mouse. Both hacked and coughed up the fluid from Leera'd depths before blinking in the dim orange glow of the den, regaining their composure.

"Wake up, little ones!" a soft feminine voice boomed as two forms - one of snake and one of gryphon - loomed over them.

Leera let out a moaning hiss as she sighed in pleasure. "I was wondering when they'd finally see my invitation." She leaned into Ceylon, who was still intently watching the soft pink opening that the two had disappeared into. She nuzzled up to his neck and gave him a kiss as she shifted her form, tensing her muscles under her tail to suck them up deeper and deeper until they were lost somewhere in her womb.

"Well, that was cute." Ceylon mused as he watched the last of Hida's tail slip into Leera's vent. He was towering over his mate, both front legs resting most of his weight on her body. He gently poked at her opening, only to have her entire body shift so that she could hide her tail under her mass of coils.

"Excuse me, I don't think that's fair. Let them have their fun!" Leera lectured, using her snout to gently bap Ceylon's beak.

"But...but..." he protested, laying down on her body, nuzzling at one of her random coils. He used the hook of his beak to tug at the underside of a scale before standing up and hopping off, shaking off the bits of bark that were clinging to his wings and fur. "Okay, fine, I'll give them a few minutes, but I'm gonna go eat, okay?" He spun and held his head high, tail raised to expose his lips, chest puffed out with pride and tailtip curled up over his shoulder.

He left Leera alone in the den to return to her specially-carved divot that she laid in when they were housing guests, that way she didn't have to chose a seat or curl herself around Ceylon's mini-nest that he had cultivated.

The roast was coming along well, the Aqua-Teal ademane groove in the oven ignited with a green-blue flame that was crisping the fat of the roast up quite well. He poked at it with a talon, testing its firmness before using a ladle to baste it a bit and a grinder to season it. He liked his meat rare - especially the red meats - so it was already almost done.

After closing up the oven, he hopped his way back into the common room of their den, sure to puff his chest out to show pride again. To his surprise, Leera was coiled up tight in her divot, pressing her snout against one of her coils. Curious, Ceylon briskly walked to her, tail flicking. "What's up?" He asked.

She was still nuzzling and prodding at her own body, occasionally flicking her tongue out before nuzzling again. Suddenly, all at once, her entire body clenched, every muscle contracting at once as she writhed. It lasted only a few seconds but seemed to drain her. When she relaxed, she spun her head to look at him, smiling. "I can feel them, still. Both of them, curled up. I can feel them shifting around, and it's....a lot nicer than I'd expect a creature so small to make me feel." She let out a long, drawn out hiss as she closed her eyes, once again resting her chin on her coil.

"Well they can't stay in there forever." Ceylon advised. "Too long and the shell will form. You know the rules about that, no encapsulation without permission. They get no more than an hour, or I'll get in there, myself, and get them out." He was stern but he really had to be. If they got trapped in an egg together, it would be weeks, maybe even months before they could be safely hatched.

"Okay, fine. Whatever you sssssayyyyy!" Leera let out a long, drawn out whine in her signature hissp, accenting the 's-sounds'. It was clear she didn't want to let them go, but she knew the rules. Plus it would impact her ability to go back to work in the following days. People at the Vore House relied on her as their most versatile and malleable pred, and she couldn't completely block off her womb as a viable destination for her guests.

"Don't give me that attitude, dear. And don't talk back at me. I know you're thinking about striking me, but if you do, you'll regret it." He glared at her, eyes narrowed to show how serious he was. Leera had done that before, and he had to deal with the repercussions. "Promise me?"

She flopped her head back onto her body, entire length shifting beneath her as she sighed again. "I promissse. But, you have to get them out." She flicked her tongue and shifted her form again, exposing her vent, and even though she wasn't looking at Ceylon, it was clear she was smiling her deviant, defiant-but-complacent grin.

Much as Ceylon needed to be the voice of reason when Leera's hormones and instincts got the better of him, it was immensely difficult for him to hold back when she would slyly expose herself to him. She'd flex her muscle to pull the ventral scale back, exposing her moist and often-dripping cloaca, the folds of soft vaginal tissue protruding out a bit, engorged with heat. It was even worse that, ever since Ceylon taught her the subtlety of tissue alteration, she'd learned to turn her heat off and on at will. She wasn't scheduled to go into season for another month and a half, yet her engorged vent was exposed, ready for all the attention it was capable of entertaining.

Ceylon shook his head and stood tall next to her, his own nether region swelling a bit thanks to the pheromones that were wafting up from her flesh. He glared at her and crossed his hind legs, trying his best to minimize the arousal that was welling up in him. He loved her, sure, but he wasn't sure he was prepared to do any heavy mating with her while her womb was occupied. Though he was not sporting male genitals, he was in his more natural form with a set of pouty lips under his tail, a genital canal resembling typical female parts. He certainly wouldn't object to a wandering tail tip.

"So what are we gonna do about this?" Leera asked before yawning, faking being fatigued so that she didn't have to actively push out the temporary womb inhabitants.

Ceylon took note that her flesh was a strange fade, pink around her gums and jaws fading to a deep purple the closer it got to her gullet. Her cycle was nearly complete and about to start again, it wouldn't be long before she flushed out her natural digestive fluids and replaced them with the breathable liquid that her womb and vaginal walls always secreted. "Well, I'll have to...dive right in!" He pounced on her, landing heavy on her coils with haunches up in the air, rump waving high as he pawed at her form, trying to get a hold of the base of her tail so he could have access to it.

She wasn't her normal, monstrous size, so she was large but not massive - she could not have swallowed Ceylon at this size, but her sex was certainly malleable to accommodate more than the mouse and dragon.

He shot her a glance as she whipped her head around, muscles tensing throughout her length before she relaxed again, ventral scale loosening and peeling back to expose her engorged lips. She hissed appreciation at him as she shifted again, curling her body around Ceylon's hind legs before returning her head to her own tail, nipping playfully at Ceylon's plumage.

"Look what you made me do, dear. I can't help myself!" Ceylon chastised before thrusting his beak down, using the crest of it to pry back her lips and smear her fluids all over his face. He nuzzled and prodded and pushed until her flesh stretched in just the right way, peeling back her ventral scale to expose her opening. He slipped both top and bottom beak in, churring as the flesh slid over his hard beak, using the leverage to open his mouth, gaping her from within and prod at her inner folds with his tongue.

The taste was elegant, sharp but sweet at the same time. The fluids her female parts concocted were delicious, a delicacy to her avian mate. Ceylon would lap at her flesh and gulp down every drop that her nether region had to offer, happily letting it smother him, the pheromone rich aroma billowing around him for hours afterward, keeping him aroused long after she lost interest in that type of physical affection.

Much as he absolutely loved to have her flesh swallow him, malleable belly scales sliding over his beak and the rest of his skull when he got overzealous, he was really only playing along to grasp at the two deep inside her. Problem was, her womb was pretty deep in her, and there was no way his talons would reach without some help.

He used the leverage from his beak already being inside her to push a bit deeper, one fore-talon grabbing at the lip of her opening to spread her wide, the other plunging in ahead of his head, plunging through her depths and feeling around, hoping to have caught them before her contractions had pushed them up into her womb. Nothing. Nothing at all.

Leera wrapped her head up around Ceylon's wings, resting her chin between his shoulders as he dug his hid paws into her body, still pushing with one fore-talon grabbing and pulling her lips wide open.

Though quite visibly aroused, Ceylon was able to turn his focus to the critters lost in his mate's womb. Under normal circumstances, he'd have happily used his whole form to please her, forming a distinct gryphon-shaped bulge in her back end, but this time she wasn't quite stretching enough for any more than his beak and arm to disappear into her tender depths.

To his delight, he felt her spine bend and compress a bit, allowing his extended talon to push through her cervix, his palm finally pressing against a tiny dragon-shaped ball. He clenched his fist tight around them, using his claws to trap them without actually squeezing as he wiggled his rump and used what leverage he had to pull them out with him.

Her malleable flesh slid over his clenched fist and every bit of his ebony-fleshed forearm as he pulled his entire body out, leaving her ventral scale distended and her cloaca gaping open, a visible trail of vaginal fluid dribbling over her tail and other coils. She sighed and shifted until her vent was hidden amidst her coils again.

Ceylon dropped the two critters on her body, far away from her and began licking at himself, cleaning himself of the lubrication that her sex had coated him with. He was able to quite quickly tongue bath himself of mos tof it, leaving only the goopy mess in his neck-feathers and between his ears. He was okay with this, the faint aroma would be gently tickling his nares until it dried up, and that could be hours.

After tending to himself, he looked down at Kitnip and Hida, who were both blinking and writhing slowly, gradually returning to a proper, lucid state. "Wake up, little ones." He cooed at them as both he and Leera hovered over them.

Before the two could respond, Ceylon offered a tongue to Kitnip, gently lapping at the fur on his back, belly, and limbs before cheekily tickling between the mouse's legs with the tip of it, making Kitnip blush and use his tail to hide himself. Leera was doing the same to Hida, flicking her tongue in and out against him, lapping at her own fluids and darting in between his limbs to get at the little cracks in his crotch. She even prodded at the underside of his tail, but stopped when she realized that the little dragon may have not been alert enough to appreciate her affections.

After only a few minutes, both were laying flat on Leera's spine, hugging each other, tiny little blushes on both of them. They seemed a little embarrassed, but Ceylon had to assure them they were fine, and had no reason to be embarrassed.

"Have fun?" Ceylon asked, offering a talon for them to hop onto. They both happily obliged and he took them back over to the table where the beef cubes were still on the plate.

Kitnip took in a few deep breaths and finally managed to squeak out a question. "H-how long were we in there?" He asked, idly fondling his tail, too shy to bother with the food.

"Like, four days, man." Ceylon told him, face completely straight even though he was completely full of nonsense. Leera shot a glance to him, but then softened her look when she decided to play along with the ruse.

"F-four days?" Hida chirped. "Does that mean Leera is going to be returning to the Vore House now?" He was hopping up and fluttering his wings, glancing back and forth between Leera and Ceylon, both of which were hovering over the two of them on either side of the table.

That certainly wasn't the response Ceylon was expecting to hear. He was expecting existential dread at the lost time, but instead the little dragon was full of optimism and excitement, a mentality he wished more of his friends shared. Sadly, he couldn't keep up the ruse, or he'd feel dishonest. A joke was one thing, but falsely getting one's hopes up was just cruel. "No, sorry. I was being silly. You guys were in there maybe half an hour, maybe less. Leera is still very unsafe to traverse. See?" He pointed to Leera, who gaped open her maw, showing the cherry pink gums and lips that faded to a violet the deeper into her maw it got.

"Yeah, until that purple is gone, she's still not safe."

Kitnip kept playing with his tail, looking straight forward, seemingly ignoring the scene around him as he remained slumped on his rump. His mind was racing with the reinvigorated memories of the full pouty mare lips and gaping snake maws.

Hida stepped to him and nuzzled the mouse, trying to coax him from his trance, chirping gently to get his attention.

"Sorry!" The mouse squeaked in surprise as he shook his head, still holding his tail tight to his chest. His goggles were all gummy, but he didn't care. "I'm here, I'm here. I just..." he flopped onto his back, sighing and smiling a broad grin across his maw. He gently flicked his ears, trying his best to get some of Leera's fluid out of them so he could hear better, since the juices were making everything sound muddled.

Ceylon nodded slowly before excusing himself. "Gonna go get that roast, I'm hungry. I don't know if Leera is, but if so, you two better watch out!"

She stuck her tongue out and licked her lips, eyeing both the critters.

Hida shuddered with the fantasy of disappearing into that gullet, only to have his adrenaline surge when he remembered how unsafe that would be. His body was in a chemical roller-coaster, alternating between excitement and anxiety, anticipation and worry.

The four of them enjoyed the rest of their meal in passivity. Ceylon cut up chunks of the roast and ate them one at a time, like steaks, while Leera kept her eyes trained on both Hida and Kitnip, her belly clearly in need of some sustenance.

In spite of Leera and Ceylon both assuring them that their trip through the serpent's reproductive system was a short lived journey, both Hida and Kitnip felt absolutely drained, like they had just woken from a week-long coma. They were so tired that their normal chipper and eternally cheerful attitude was thoroughly exhausted. All they could do for the duration of the evening was relax, threatening to nod off into sleep as their host ate his meal and told stories of his past lives and encounters.

When the sun finally fell, leaving them only with the fire-borne light of the lanterns strewn throughout the den, Kitnip decided to do the most reasonable thing and offer to leave Ceylon and his mate alone for the evening rather than intrude.

Hida gave a distraught glance, knowing that Klyneth was incredibly far from here, and would be too much distance to pass overnight, even if his little wings were flapping with great vigor. It was even harder to fly at night; without the thermals to buoy him in the air, he was little more than a morsel to the predators of the night.

Luckily for both, Ceylon insisted they stay. The gryphon knew the energy cost of Leera's fluids on whichever being ended up smothered in them. The experience was truly grand, a transcendent waking dream come true, but it also completely sapped one's energy afterwards. No, Hida and Kitnip both would be better off staying the night.

However, since there was no spare bedroom, they all shared the same nesting den. Leera laid flat against the ground, many of her coils pressed tight against the floor that seemed to be naturally heated, absorbing the energy while Leera laid on top of her to offer his body heat to the parts of her that weren't touching the ground. Kitnip and Hida both curled up on Ceylon's back, the mouse wrapped in the dragon's tail and wings.

Sleep came fast to all four inhabitants of the den. Leera could practically turn sleep off and on at will, due to her cold blood and biological adaptations that helped her conserve energy. Ceylon had a busy day and was ready to sleep. And, of course, Hida and Kitnip both were doing all they could to hold off sleep to not be rude to their hosts, so when the offer was laid before them, they both took it and were enjoying the rest within minutes.

The dreams that night were quite vivid, especially for Hida. His encounter that day had been quite a dream come true, so now he had a real-world experience fresh in his mind to help increase the realism of his fantasy.

Kitnip also shared Hida's passion, his tiny little paws were constantly rubbing and clawing at his dragon companion's chest, just like they had been while in Leera's womb, squishing her fluids and lubrication between skin and fur.

In the middle of a most delicious scene of Hida's dream, he was woken by the stirring of the gryphon feathers that he and Kitnip were cuddling in. As soon as he regained his composure and lucidity, he realized how excited his dream had made him. He blushed and curled his tail up between his legs to ensure that Kitnip's paws never touched him there. His maw gaped open in a lackluster yawn as he looked around, blinking the sleep that had gummed his eyes shut. What he saw when his vision cleared made him think he was still dreaming.

Directly in front of him was a massive open maw, with multiple lines of sharp glistening teeth and soft ridges of cherry pink flesh. He tenses up immediately, but soon realized it was just Leera, yawning to realign her jaw. Her piercing emerald green eyes were open but unfocused; she was asleep, but naturally in defensive mode.

Hida stared into the abyss that was her gullet, noticing that the telltale purple flesh that Ceylon had mentioned before had turned a bright, cherry pink, which apparently indicated that her cycle had restarted and she could once again be safely explored. After a few brief moments, she closed her maw again and took in a deep, drawn in breath before gaping open again, another deep yawn with her maw pointed directly at the little dragon. He was still excited, but was doing his best to hold back from expressing that excitement as a series of scenarios flashed through his mind.

Was Leera awake and teasing him? Was she reverting back to her feral ways that Ceylon had warned about? Was she just really tired? Was she instinctively preparing to strike at the two little critters that were very obviously food to such a massive, voracious serpent?

Hida had plenty of time to contemplate what was happening as she continued tilt her head, yawn, re-adjust her neck, yawn again, and flick her tongue intermittently, like she was just stretching or working out a kink in her spine and jaws. As she continued her yawn, Hida used his wing to idly poke at Kitnip's shoulder, waking the mouse as he kept his eyes trained on the fleshy maw exposing itself before him.

Leera's maw closed again just as the mouse stirred awake. "Squeak?" He spoke, confused.

Hida simply pointed at Leera, her head still hovering and bobbing above her coils as her tongue flickered in and out, indicating another yawn was coming.

"What?" Kitnip demanded, a little frustrated that Hida would wake him from such a deep slumber.

"Keep watching, she'll yawn again, and you'll get a good look."

The mouse's ears perked up as he rolled over on Ceylon's back, waiting to see Leera expose her pink again. Sure enough, she craned her neck, angled her maw, and gaped open one more time in another long, drawn out snake yawn. "Squeeeeak!" Kitnip approved, speaking the word in a hushed whisper than actually squeaking or doing any other thing that might wake her.

"What do you think she'd do if we hopped right in there while she yawned?" Hida suggested, still staring dead forward to Leera's glistening maw flesh.

Kitnip actually squeaked a bit. "I don't know, probably swallow without thinking, or wake up and spit us out." His breathing was quickening as he imagined her clamping down on him, jaw moving back and forth to force him deeper until all he had to hold on was the slick walls of her gullet and the tightening muscles of her throat swallowing him. "But wait, didn't Ceylon say she was in the digestive part of her cycle?"

Hida nuzzled at Kitnip's cheek and chirred a bit. "He did, yes, but he also sais that her cycle could be read by the color of her flesh. Purple means she's digesting. Pink means she's in her other state. The holding period, I think he called it. Do you see any purple flesh?"

Both waited with bated breath for her to yawn again, when they did they leaned in and paid close attention. Lo and behold not a single patch or faded segment of anything resembling the purple that they'd seen near the epicenter of the abyss that was her gullet. It was clear she was as pink in her maw as her nether region.

"N-no!" Kitnip squeaked, his tail waving gently behind him.

"Let's go!" Hida urged, playfully hopping over his friend and down over the side of Ceylon's shoulder, landing heavily on Leera's spine somewhere midway down her length. Kitnip landed beside him, careful to not dig his claws into her scales for fear of waking her.

The two of them hurriedly walked up her spine in circles around her coils like she was a pathway, eventually making it the back of her head where her skull connected to her spine. They were both quite careful to not do anything drastic or alert her, but it was hard not to.

Hida leaned in real close to Kitnips ear and whispered as quiet as he could, since they were so close to the snake's ear holes. "So what now, just...up by the snout, then dive in?"

Kitnip shook his head and lifted a single finger to his lips in a universal 'shh' indicator. He lightly padded his way down her snout, between her eyes and over her muzzle so that he was resting between her nostrils. He spun and lowered his tail to lightly prod at her heat pits, giving her something to detect while also tickling her just enough to irritate.

She jerked her head back, nearly knocking both off her snout. She flicked her tail around and accidentally slapped Kitnip in the rump, making him squeak before yanking his tail out from her heat pits.

Hida tiptoed forward on her massive snout, getting to his mouse companion right as Leera's head reared back, arching her neck and spine so that she was looking directly to the ceiling of the nesting den. Both had to scramble and claw, grabbing at the corners of the heat pits and nostrils to keep from sliding and falling off. They ended up both standing directly on her lips as her tongue darted out between Kitnip's hind legs, the forks wrapping around either side of the base of his tail.

The little blue dragon was about to make a joke at the expense of Kitnip's bashfulness, but Leera's lips parted in a yawn, her maw gaped wide open before them. The gape split them, with Kitnip daintily hanging onto the snake's bottom lip, Hida's wings spread and claws grabbing tight on her upper lip. Between and beneath them was Leera's soft, pulsating, juicy mounds of maw flesh and teeth with a black abyss in the middle.

Kitnip stared down with eyes wide, tail flicking eagerly as the snake's tongue continued to squeeze and twitch between his legs, undulating against his inner thighs, messing with his head. After a few moments, he let out a soft whimper and looked across the chasm of her gullet to see that Hida was also staring down, transfixed by the scene before them.

An overwhelming desire washed over Kitnip as a fantasy came to life before him. His body was shaking as he re-positioned himself so he was sitting on her lip, feet resting inside her maw and squishing her saliva between his toes, tail splayed out behind him. He grabbed at her gums, trying hard to avoid the sharp teeth that lined them. "Join me?" He offered Hida before letting go, sliding foot first down her maw, off to the side of her wind pipe to land in a squish at the crook of her maw.

Her flesh was massaging him, secreting saliva that smothered him and soaked his fur as the soff mounds of pulsating muscle shifted and slid beneath him, ensuring his foot paws couldn't get any grip. One powerful gulp later and his form shifted, feet disappearing between the soft walls of flesh as he slid deeper, the slick velvety pillows smothering his face as he smiled, one thumb up to Hida.

Hida's maw was agape as he watched Kitnip's form get smothered by her shifting throat muscles. His brain was completely scrambled to the point he didn't even stop to think why Leera would keep her maw open this long if she was just yawning. Instead, he hopped off her lip and did a cannonball, aiming directly at the soft abyss.

The very moment he felt his tail slap against her maw flesh, she immediately closed her jaws, smothering him before he even disappared down her gullet. He felt her teeth pressing in a line against his form as her muscles and bone shifted, the pressure and slickness forcing him in deeper and deeper until the teeth were above him and out of reach.

He looked up to her maw, seeing only a slit of light narrow as the soft flesh of her throat closed up above him, the muscles contracting in waves, forcing him down.

Her soft walls slid over him with ease, gravity helping just as much as the pressure and lubrication. Before long, he caught up to Kitnip, his tail wrapping around a mucked up, furry creature a few centimeters deeper in her esophagus.

Kitnip reached up and grabbed at the dragon's tail, puling himself up until both were hugging each other closely. The mouse thought about putting on his goggles, but decided against it, knowing it would do him no good. Rather, he was happy to cuddle up with Hida as the peristaltic muscular waves passed over them.

Unlike last time, in her nether region, there was an element of fear for the two as they descended down her gullet. They imaged her as being quite safe due to the color of her maw, but it didn't occur to either of them that the cycle was passing through her, much like they were, and may not be as safe a meter or two down her throat on the way to her belly.

With that revelation in Hida's mind, he kept his breath held as he wrapped arms and wings around Kitnip, relishing in the sensation of slick velvet passing over his wing membranes. Both nuzzled into each other as the flesh continued to slide them deeper and deeper, the walls closing in and growing tighter and more snug with every gentle motion.

"What are you doing?" Ceylon grumbled as he used his wrist to wipe some sleep from his eye. The motion of Leera's swaying upper body had roused him from rest just as Hida had launched off her snout to land in her gullet.

She closed her maw most of the way and offered a meek smile to her mate. "N-nothing?" she squeaked, saliva dribbling out over her lips to splatter in little pools amidst her coils. She had a nervous smile as she looked across her body to Ceylon.

"Doesn't look like nothing." The gryphon flicked his ear to see that his friends were no longer nestling on his head and glared at her. "Where are Hida and Kitnip?"

Leera swallowed nervously, her throat muscles clenching and forcing the critters deeper down her gullet.

"No, you spit them out right now. You still have a couple days before you're safe, all the way through." He got on all fours and leaned into her, hissing. These were his friends, not some fools he'd picked up in town.

Leera sighed. "It's fine, I promise I'm safe. Used a bit of magic to accelerate the process for them." She explained, rolling her eyes and smiling deviously.

Ceylon was about to throw another accusation at her, but then came to his senses to realize that, yeah, Leera was exactly the kind of snake to do that, and would never hurt anyone, especially not Ceylon's friends. "Okay, okay. But for my state of mind, could you spit 'em back up anyway?" he leaned into her and nuzzled his beak against her cheek, a gentle churring rumbling in his throat.

She flicked her tongue out with a sly smirk. "Well, I just wanted them to have fun. I was prying into their dreams and saw just how much they wanted it, so I wanted to give them something special. But okay, I guess I'll do it for you. Still promise it was fine." She grumped and arched her neck, gaping her maw open again as her body tensed in waves from her belly to jaws, squeezing both Hida and Kitnip from tail end to head, forcing them out with one quick motion.

They slid with ease through her gullet, suddenly rocking back up towards the entrance in one another's arms until both of their heads poked out from between the soft flesh of her upper and lower maw.

She contracted the muscles of her jaw to retract her teeth as she leaned over and made a gagging sound, spitting both up in a gooey pink pile of slime and scales and wings and tails and fur. Both looked both intensely happy and a little disappointed at the same time.

"AGAIN!" Hida chirped as he jumped to all fours and shook off the gooey saliva from his extremities. "I wanna go for another slide!"

Kitnip just rocked back and forth with a wide grin across his snout, gentle squeaks slipping out as he laughed, his chest heaving like he had hiccups. "Yesss! Again!" He agreed before hopping up and wiping his fur of the slime that was pooling beneath him on Leera's scales.

"Sssee? Told you they were fine." Leera hissped as she turned and laid her head on her coils next to them, flicking her tongue out to lap at Kitnip's backside, making the little mouse blush and lean into her tongue flicks, then hug her snout with his little mousey paws.

Ceylon reached over and smeared a talon against her scales where the pink-tinted saliva was pooling, capturing some for a taste test. He smacked his beak as he sampled it and agreed. "Okay, okay, fine, I trust you, but...warn me next time?"

She nuzzled into Kitnip hard enough to knock him off his feet, but so that she was also nuzzling Hida. "Well, it would have ruined the allure! They thought I was asleep!" She continued to nuzzle into the two of them as they hugged at her snout.

Hida even tried to slip his tail in between his lips to get her to open her maw so he could jump in again.

"Okay, okay, fine!" Ceylon agreed with an eager coo. "Go ahead, they can sleep in you tonight, as long as you can assure me they will be safe!"

Leera nodded enthusiastically and brought her tail around to draw a cross on her belly scales just below her chin. "Cross my heart, hun! You know I'd never hurt anyone!"

Ceylon scooped both Hida and Kitnip in his talons and leaned back on his haunches as Leera moved her head away with her jaws spread, like an eager puppy. "Catch!" Ceylon grabbed Kitnip and tossed him to Leera, who struck at him in the air half way between the two of them.

Her soft skin snapped shut on the little mouse, her muscles holding him in place as her flesh quivered and throbbed around him. He was trying to situate himself, since being tossed had him quite disoriented, but he couldn't do so before her maw opened up again, awaiting another treat.

"Last one tonight." Ceylon joked as he grabbed hida by the tail and dangled him over Leera's head.

She gaped her maw open as wide as it would go, Kitnip still disoriented and resting in between the soft pillows of her gullet flesh, legs squirming in her throat.

Before Hida could hesitate, he was dropped from Ceylon's talon to land in Leera's maw, the whole world going black as she gave one final gulp. Her flesh passed over him as he once again reunited with Kitnip, the contracting muscles forcing him down, down, down until he stopped moving. He was suspended alongside Kitnip in a chamber of fluid, the flesh only barely sliding over him due to how much roomier it was.

He smiled and pulled his friend close, knowing that, at least for the night, they'd be happily contained in this serpent's belly, floating with each other, powerful snake muscles and scales holding them in place.

Much like her womb, he took a minute before gaining the courage to let his body inhale, sucking her slick, viscous fluid into his lungs, giving him the same, euphoric state of mind that he felt when in her womb, the mind altering feeling that left him in an eternal dream.
