I wrote this yesterday for Halloween and then forgot to post it here, oops. Won't say much about the story, but I hope anyone who reads it enjoys! As always any comments, negative or positive, are welcome!

My Perfect Girl

People always say first impressions are important, that statement has never been more true than when you go on a blind date. Luckily the restaurant was doing a lot of the work for me and that's why I always took them here for the first meeting. It was on the fancy side, nice table cloth, the waiters dressed nice and if you went at night they lit the candles for you. Nothing makes this easier than some good mood lighting. I always find its best to start off talking about them instead of myself, asking simple questions to show them I'm interested. "What do you do for work? Oh that's interesting." or "What are your hobbies? Oh I love doing that too." things of that nature always seem to get things rolling. Unfortunately beyond the opening questions I'm never sure where to go, I think its because I get too excited, my mind races with thoughts of the night ahead. Again this is why I take them to restaurants, by the time they are telling me about how things are at their job or listing all their hobbies and how much they just love it, the food is brought to us. "So what about yourself? What do you like to do?" Those are the usual question that they ask me, sometimes you get the more eccentric ones that just want to move on from the small chit chat. "Are you happy with where you are in life? Do you have a good relationship with your parents?" Odd questions to ask, personal, but it happens sometimes and I like to be prepared with simple answers.

Tonight's conquest was lovely, she really showed that she was trying. It was obvious that she had gotten her hair done just for tonight, the dress she wore looked new too or at least not used very often. She wasn't thin, but she was far from fat as well, nice curves in nice places and her eyes a beautiful shade of green. A really beautiful shade of green, my goodness I was having trouble looking away from them, but I didn't want to get caught staring so I looked to my food instead. Pasta, I always got the pasta, it wasn't my favorite meal, but it was a food that you could eat and still hold a conversation. By the time we are both finished eating conversation feels easy, usually, there are times when the questions asked before the meal have left things awkward for after. Tonight was not one of those nights those, we were laughing together, chit chatting and sharing funny stories from our past, which I always took as a good sign. When things were going this well I liked to skip dessert, well not skip it, but go to a different place that specialized in it. There is an ice cream shop just a few places down I like to take them too when things are going this well, who doesn't like ice-cream right? There is a flavor for everyone, I suppose the lactose intolerant don't enjoy it now that I think about it, but luckily I haven't ran into that yet.

There was only one time things didn't go well after hitting the ice-cream parlor, I won't go into detail because its not an important event and I don't want to really think about it while enjoying the company of this lovely fawn. She went for the bubblegum flavor and I loved that she picked that because its my favorite as well, loved the mix of flavors, but I didn't want to seem like I was just getting what she was having so I got butter pecan. Butter pecan was my favorite growing up so its a close second to bubble-gum, why am I thinking about that right now? Anyway, things continued as usual, more chatting and more laughing. We both got our ice-cream in little cups so we could walk down the street and stare up at the stars, the city was big and bright but somehow the stars shined through that night anyway. I pointed out the few constellations I knew and she pointed out a few more before we both started to make some up, making each other laugh as we came up with back stories for each one.

The night progressed just the way I wanted it to, walking along the street at night, slowly making our way to my place. It wasn't anything fantastic, just a well furnished single bedroom apartment, small TV., cough, fridge. You know what an apartment looks like. The ice-cream was long gone and as soon as the front door was close she showed me another side of her, clothes being tossed carelessly around the room. Pants hitting the kitchen counter, shirts hitting the couch, not even sure where the underwear went but once they were off it didn't matter. She was good, great even, eager to show me what she could do with her mouth. A little too eager maybe, her mouth was still quite cold from the ice-cream and at first I wanted to pull away, but it had a nice warming effect as she continued. I couldn't help myself, I got really excited and pulled her up into my lap and from there it was just a night of giving into our more carnal desires. It was a perfect end for the perfect night, wasn't often things went that well, hell it may have never gone that well.

It kind of hurt to think about, in another life we could have been together, maybe even get married and have a wonderful life together. That wasn't possible though, not in this life, I had to do what I had to do and unfortunately she would never see me again. I pet through her hair gently, it was quite soft, I didn't notice it last night, she must take very good care of it. Looking over her naked form I could actually tell that she took very good care of her entire body, she definitely worked out. It was usually easier than this, but things had never gone this well, I could feel the sigh coming before I let it out around the same time I pushed the needle into her neck. She wouldn't wake for a while and she wouldn't feel what I was about to do until several hours later, I couldn't help myself when I ran my fingers through her hair again, putting the syringe on the nightstand before standing. She was light in my arms as I lifted her off the bed, carrying her from the bedroom to the kitchen, laying her down across the cleared off counter space. I kept my medical supplies in the top drawer, didn't see a reason to hide it, I was a surgeon after all so people never got suspicious. I wouldn't need many tools for what I was about to do, a scalpel was the only surgical tool I needed, but I also grabbed a marker and a spoon.

The marker was to outline where I was going to cut, I put little lines on the tops and bottoms of her eyelids, careful to make sure they were perfectly straight. The scalpel, well I'm sure you could guess what that was for, I always made sure to take new ones from my job so they were nice and sharp. I didn't like to make a mess so have a blade that could slice through skin so easily was a must. Removing eyelids was something I always found challenging, well I mean I could just cut through it but then I risk damaging my prize so I took it my time. My own eyes were on the tip of the blade, watching as it separated the eyelid from the rest of hear face, doing so three more times to get each lid removed. I set them onto a small plate I set aside, setting my scalpel with them as I take the spoon in my hand. Putting my thumb to the sclera I press the spoon against the edge of her eye socket, gently rocking and pushing the spoon while slowly applying more pressure until the spoon slipped behind the eye. From there it was easy for me to scoop the eye out, free hand reaching for the scalpel to neatly cut the optic nerve, freeing the eye to be set on the same plate as the lips. This process was repeated once more to remove her other eye, there were no complications, but I really didn't expect there to be any, removing an eye wasn't a difficult thing.

The next thing I pull out of my drawer is my sewing kit, spending a fair amount of time putting the eyelids back on before pulling out some bandages to wrap around her now empty sockets. It was around that time that the doorbell rang, I wasn't surprised or frightened by it, I knew it was my friend, my one true friend. He was more than happy to help me with my goal, always coming around my place the same time every Friday to see if I had another one for him. I lifted the fawn off my counter top and carried her to the door, carefully turning the knob before handing her off to the large rhino standing outside. "Thanks." Was what I always told him, a simple way to show my appreciation, he always gave me a smile and a nod before leaving, knowing I had work to do he didn't want to keep me from it. Now alone in my apartment with a plate of beautiful green eyes. I move to take the keys from the pants I had thrown so carelessly across the room earlier, that's right I answered the door naked, fishing into the pocket to pull out a key chain. I gave myself a smile in one of the mirrors hung up in the living room before I moved to the only door, besides the front door, that I kept locked. Opening the closet and putting my arms out I caught my love in my arms and held her tight, caressing the cold skin on her back before moving her to lay her out over the counter top. I have heard stories and seen movies where people put together their perfect girl together using magazines, mixing and matching eyes, noses, hair, and everything else till they had it the way they wanted. I did the same sort of thing, just on a bigger scale and tonight I got the final pieces I needed. It had taken a while to find the right eyes, one I could stare into all night and get lost in.

Putting the eyes back in were even easier than taking them out, pushing the eye lids open and applying a little pressure slipped them into place, with those beautiful green eyes filling the once empty sockets my perfect girl was complete and I could finally settle down. I took her from the counter top and sat her on the couch, putting a movie on the tv as I took the spot next to her. I smiled at her and took a moment admire her new eyes, they really were the perfect shade of green, before placing a kiss on her cheek. "I love you darling..." I told her before looking back to the tv. "I love you too." She replied with a grin.
