Bound by Destiny 18 - One Wedding, One Realization

As the sun stood high in the air, the castle was at full speed with setting up the final details for the grand event that was about to happen. The head maid of the castle, Amelia, was ordering the maids around to clean off the seats, put all the glasses in proper position and offer their help if anyone else needed it. The week had been hard on everyone, mostly for Tarja and Tatsuya, who had been forced to just watch as the rest of the family planned their wedding. Being that Tarja's mother was in charge once more, they expected something equal to Tenchi's and Peridot's wedding, or even better.

As Tarja stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the jacket and her gloves, her father Jaeger stood next to her, his face filled with pride and joy over his little... well, maybe not little, but you get it... girl finally getting a worthy love of her life, "Tarja, you look amazing. You look like you came straight out of the show itself." Tarja was smiling before clapping her hands together, "Poor shame I do not know transmutation like they do. Or maybe that would be bad in case of mistakes." Jaeger and Tarja began laughing a bit before Jaeger gave Tarja a hug, "It is hard for me to really get it, even if I accepted it. My own daughter is getting married and I can see how happy she is." Tarja gave him a smile, softly hissing to tickle his cheek, making Jaeger chuckle, "At least you kept part of your teasing side." Tarja kept hissing as Jaeger kept chuckling, "Fa il solletico!"

On the other side of the castle, Akari was helping Tatsuya to get the outfit on properly. Tatsuya checked the mirror and nodded, pulling out his guns from time to time to give them a twirl in the fingers, Akari covering himself even when knowing Tatsuya didn't have them loaded. Like Tarja, Tatsuya always wanted to carry one around for safety, two just in case he felt like he could give the targets a small show. Adjusting the pants a final time, Akari nodded, "There you go, Tatsuya-kun. All ready to floor her now." Tatsuya nodded to Akari and laughed, "Thanks, bro. Maybe next time I can help you get ready for when your day comes around?" Akari laughed, "Oh, you know it. I better head out before my woman thinks I am having a secret relationship with you." Knowing that it was just a brotherly joke, Tatsuya gave Akari a hug before letting him go, "Off to your little teapot then." Akari gave him a stern look before laughing upon leaving.

The sound of a calm melody played in the garden as the wedding was beginning, every guest and family entering the area to get a seat, a few new faces and a few old ones since the family and amount of friends had grown since the last wedding. When the final one stood in their place, Sasha's voice called out, "Entering first, Tatsuya, the groom!" Tatsuya walked from behind the arch, most of the crowd whistling at his wonderful selection of clothes. Slowly making his way down the aisle, he noticed that every step he took, he left flowers and leaves behind. Lotus flowers and cherry blossoms to be exactly. He smiled as it worked so well right now, until he set foot on the altar and bowed in respect to Sasha before turning around as Sasha cleared her throat.

"And finally, lead by her own father Jaeger. We have his daughter, as well as mine, Tarja, the bride!" Jaeger nodded to Tarja as they hooked arms, and rounded the arch and walked down the aisle. The applauds for Tarja could be heard all across the realm as they cheer her on, Tarja's focus mostly being on the handsome guy standing at the altar with his jaw resting on the ground from seeing that Tarja wore her outfit with such pride. And where he had left lotus flowers and cherry blossoms, she had the wind lift them up from the ground and whirl around her before her hair got tied up like a ponytail with lotus flowers and actually cherries growing from each ribbon tied. As they drew close enough, Jaeger slowly unhooked his arm and reached his hand out to Tatsuya, shaking it before offering Tarja over to him as he then returned to his seat. The wind blowing right at the point was making it feel almost magical.

Taking in the air, Sasha looked at the two standing in front of her, "Honorable families and friends, we have gathered here today to unite these two in the holy ritual of life, called marriage. I have the honor of not only being the one performing this ritual, but also to unite my own daughter with her partner." Sasha cleared her throat again, "Since the beginning of time, the three Creators made this planet, Ca'Li'Hu, the planet of light and darkness, as their planet to nourish and take care of. We were blessed with their guidance and blessed with the wonder of living in their paradise. We also had to witness the battle between good and evil. The warrior of light and the god of destruction and darkness. As the prophecy once told of a being that would deprive from their existence, they would seek the one they were bound to and take their place. I am this defect of which the prophecy speaks, and I take no regret in my action. My action brought a future that made me the mother to many wonderful daughters, one of which I have the honor to give away to a good man. As this time is now, we shall no longer keep them waiting. If anyone wishes to object against this marriage, then let them speak now, or remain silent to never object to this in the future. I do suggest however that you don't object or you might look like a Swiss cheese." A soft laughter came from Tarja and Tatsuya as it was true, but still how Sasha said it was making it funny.

The family was silent however, except for a few tiny sniffs of pride here and there. A minute went by before Sasha continued, "As no one objects to this marriage, I will proceed with asking." She turned to Tatsuya first, "Do you, Tatsuya, take this Tarja to be your loving wife, and love her no matter what until your bonds are broken to be reforged?" Tatsuya nodded happily, "I do!" Sasha nodded before turning to Tarja next, "And do you, Tarja, take this Tatsuya to be your loving husband, and love him no matter what until your bonds are broken to be reforged?" Tarja smiled warmly, nodding to her, "With all of my heart, I indeed do." Sasha nodded before moving backwards, "Now, like last wedding, there are someone who wanted to perform again."

Suddenly a rather upbeat song was beginning to play and most of the guests could feel their bodies wanting to dance to it as above them in the sky flew not one, but three serpentine dragons, the middle one having a shark girl riding on its back. Soon the sound of her voice joined the music, "I'm feeling free in the wind, in the wind. Free to be loved in the wind, in the wind. What would it feel like to be always lonely, never know if it is love or hate. Watch as it passes by, the emotions test you, but they just ain't enough. Into the free, into the me, into the ever knowing. Felt so full of hate, felt so full of pain, but now I'm breaking out and..."

At this point the dragons flew down and landed as the shark girl jumped off and soon Alexander, Yin and Yang stood next to her while singing along, "I'm feeling free in the wind, in the wind. Free to be loved in the wind, in the wind." Yin and Yang took the next part, "Tears, hate, blood, emotions create a flood, and that's no exaggeration. Forgive, joy, or love, you're free as a dove, of which is very certain. Into the free, into the me, into the ever knowing. Felt so full of hate, felt so full of pain, but now I'm breaking out and..."

Once again they all sang the chorus together, "I'm falling into the love, to the love. Free to be me I am loved, I am loved. I am loved, loved!" At the final loved, they kicked it up a pitch until continuing once more, "I am feeling free in the wind, in the wind. Free to beloved in the wind, in the wind." Alexander stepped forward with a warm smile, "What would it take for you to make, a simple love transition. Into the know, from the unknown, and feed your love temptation. Into the free, been starving me, into the ever knowing. Felt so full of pain, felt so full of tears, but now I'm breaking out and..." As the final part was coming up, the shark girl took the first part alone, "I'm living in, in the free, in the free. Free to be me, I am free, I am free." Next was Yin and Yang, "I'm feeling free in the wind, in the wind. Free to feel loved in the wind, in the wind." Alexander finally taking the last chorus, "I'm feeling warm in the wind, in the wind. Warm by the love in the wind, in the wind." And as it seemed to be done, all four joined into one final shout, "I'm free!"

At the point when the music died off, everyone were standing up and applauding as Sasha called out, "That was Alexander, Lyra, Yin and Yang everyone!" As they took their seats after the performance, Sasha cleared her throat to get the attention back to her, "And now I want to hear the couple's speeches."

Tatsuya and Tarja faced each other as Tatsuya begun, "Tarja, the first time I saw you in Kyoto, it felt like I had some connection to you, but once I went with instinct, I knew I made the right decision. Your family took me in and gave me all the benefits that a proud male could wish for, but the greatest thing they did, was to allow me this chance today to make you mine. I love you, Tarja, and I won't ever cease to feel this way for you." Tarja smiled before taking a deep breath, "Tatsuya, the day I met you, it was a simple trip to help out my sister to choose her wedding outfit, but once you approached me... I do not know why, but like you said, it felt so right. I always declines offers because I was afraid of breaking them like twigs, but you were the right one for me. If this is paradise like my mom says, then you may be seen as the snake tempting me to bite into the apple, but to me you are my Adam, and I am your Eve. And I love you, Tatsuya."

During the reading of their speeches, Ocarina was sitting in her seat, looking at them as she placed a hand on her chest, feeling the pain before a soft nose poked her cheek, "Hey? You okay? You seem a bit down. Aren't you happy that your sister is getting married?" Ocarina looked at the bunny sitting next to her, nodding, "I am happy for her, no denial there. I just... I am not as lucky as her. No one likes me. They are all scared of me due to what I was before it was removed from me." Melody was leaning closer again, "Why not enjoy the wedding and then we talk about it later?" Ocarina nodded before looking forward, soon feeling her right arm being lifted and the bunny moving closer to her.

Sasha was surprised by what Tatsuya and Tarja had just said, but quickly remembered she had something more to do, "Oh sorry, I spaced out there for a moment. I want the page-girl to come with the rings now." Sapphire got up and walked over to both Tarja and Tatsuya, who were looking confused as all she had with her was a chunk of metal. Soon she clapped her hands together, transmuting forth two gold rings with the family sigil made of cut amethyst before holding them out with a warm smile, "As by Wichan custom, I hereby offer the rings of which to bind you in the holy ritual of marriage." Tatsuya and Tarja took the rings before Sasha was looking once more at Tatsuya, "Repeat after me. I, Tatsuya, take you Tarja to be my lawful wife and love you forever, as promised by this ring." Tatsuya repeated after her and soon slowly slid the ring onto Tarja's finger before Tarja had her turn, "I, Tarja, take you Tatsuya to be my lawful husband and love you forever, as promised by this ring." It was then dawning for them. Tatsuya had cybernetic arms, but Sapphire smiled before clapping her hands together to make a gold chain appear around the ring, Tarja smiling before she put it around Tatsuya's neck before Sasha's voice rang loudly, "Hear me, Ca'Li'Hu! Today, we celebrate the marriage of Tatsuya and Tarja. May their life be fruitful and their future bright!"

She then lowered her head before giving everyone a smile, "By the power as the goddess of darkness and destruction, I hereby pronunce you married by the divine guidance and blessing. Now you mat call yourselves Tarja and Tatsuya Grimsnake. And seal it, by kissing the bride." Tatsuya sweeped Tarja's feet away, catching her before placing a deep kiss on her maw, Tarja seeming not surprised, but rather amused when she returned the kiss under a sea of loud applauds for the new couple. It was then that a yelp broke the tranquility, "Oh my gods, SHE IS GOING INTO LABOR!"
