As I spent some time in room 269, I got to know Tyler and Jast better. Tyler was 13, but his transformation began when he was only 11. Jast was 14 and transformed when she was 13, and had changed her name after her change. Meanwhile, I was the same person, just with more patches of fur appearing each day. My knees kept hurting, so my roommates were nice enough to bring me stuff from the cafeteria. One day, I was laying in bed and was eating some soft tacos for dinner, then my legs hurt more than usual. When the throbbing finally stopped, I saw that my legs were now facing the other way, in a canine fashion. A few days later, a muzzle grew from my face. In a matter of 2 weeks since my arrival, I had transformed.

Basically, to describe what I look like, picture an Umbreon. Now add a Glaceon's head-tail things. Then a Glaceon's tail. Add gold rings in the diamonds. Then add the diamonds from a Glaceon on my back, colored gold. The diamonds on my head-tails and tail were a lighter color than the rest of my fur, still midnight black. Then I realized that I needed to head to classes. I took a look at my schedule and went to the class. I saw cross-species everywhere. Mightyena and Charizard, Skarmory and Persian, Typhlosion and Tropius, and many more. I looked at the teacher, a strange combination of Zoroark and Eevee. He introduced himself as Mr. Smith, and immediately said, "So, how much practice do you have?" I stammered, "Umm, zero." He smiled and reassured me, "Don't worry. You're gonna do great. But let's see what you got." He blew his whistle loudly and yelled, "LINE UP!" All of the students did so, almost with a frightened look in their eyes. Mr. Smith then announced, "This is Sam. He's a newbie, and as tradition, he's gonna perform his four moves. Now, criticism is to be kept to yourself, unless you wish to start running laps. Alright, let's do this!"

I gulped and took my place in front of 4 wooden dummies. And by some instinct, my head reared back and a black beam shot one of the dummies into the wall. The class clapped, and I recognized the attack - Dark Pulse. I then tried a different, my head still reared back, but a bluish-white beam froze one of the targets. It wasn't exactly hard to guess that I had just used Ice Beam. I tried again, and the ring on my forehead glowed brightly, then a dummy blasted into the wall without anything else happened. I realized that I had used Psychic, and I smiled at that. A good counter to my now 4X weakness to Fighting. And for my fourth move, I looked upwards and closed my eyes, feeling pretty good with some strange light around me. I noticed that it was a silver light, and determined that it was Moonlight. At least I knew my movepool - Dark Pulse, Ice Beam, Psychic, Moonlight. A bell rang, and I went to my next class, English. I met my teacher, a Houndoom called Mrs. Phillips. I surprisingly could write with a pen just as well as I could before the life-changer. Then I went to the cafeteria, where I met up with my roommates. I then went in line and got my food, a bacon cheeseburger, home cut fries, and a lemonade. I had never tasted something so good. I chatted with Tyler and Jast until the bell rang. I put up my tray and went to my Pokéumans History class. Learning about the history of my kind was boring and interesting at the same time. The teacher was a Zangoose name Mr. Long. And then I went to my last class, Algebra. I hadn't been too good at it before, but I did okay. Especially with some tips from the teacher, Ms. Williams, a Raichu. I immediately went to the room and grabbed the remote. I put on Top Gear and laid on the couch. Jast and Tyler came in and watched, with some commentary from Tyler. Me and Jast had the same idea and Ice Beamed the Servine's mouth shut. He looked at us with a look that practically screamed, "What did I do?!" Jast and I smirked and watched, although a bit distracted with Tyler trying to get the ice off of his mouth. It took awhile, but he eventually did. Right as he did, an announcement on the intercom said that dinner was served. I turned off the TV and walked to the cafeteria with my roommates. Who knew that pulled pork could taste so good? We then went back and argued about what to watch for the time until lights out. I then realized that I needed something else to do for my spare time, but I would decide that for another day.
