Town of Xiir'ah: Moving In

I drove hastily across the empty road at forty-five kilometers per hour. Night is approaching, and he doesn't want another night in the middle of the seemingly endless forest. There are too many woodland creatures, and yes, that includes bears and wolves. Fearing I wouldn't reach the town, I risked a fifty-five. A few weeks earlier, my boss told me that I'm assigned to a branch of our company which is remote and she gave me a map with markers. However, during my time on the road, I got delayed by faded roads, wrong signs, and the fact that I could not understand my boss's markings. Who told her this is a good idea?, I thought as my car is racing against time. Just before sunset, I arrived at the town. I looked and saw the sign say, "Welcome to the Town of Xiir'ah." Just past it, a motel is waiting. I immediately parked and headed for the doors. But before I opened it, I looked around and saw a bunch of people who look like they are wearing fursuits. They talk to each other as they looked at me. Ignoring it, I went in the motel. A woman wearing a doe suit is standing behind the counter.

"How may I help you?" she said politely. I'm surprised at how realistic is the fursuit. From the furs to the way the suit's mouth moved as she spoke, it seems like she is a doe-lady.

"Um, I want a room, please?"

"Just a second." She went and picked the nearest key she could get. "Room Three. Just go upstairs. Apparently, their town don't get a lot of visitors.

"Thanks." She smiled at me. And by that, I mean that her suit is smiling. Finding it creepy, I hastily walked upstairs and entered my room and lied in my bed. Feeling exhausted, I fell asleep. As I woke up the next day, I feel a little weird. I couldn't move my legs. And the bed seems to short because my legs is hanging over. I opened my eyes when I realized it. Last night, it's like a king-sized bed. This morning my legs are dangling over the edge. I sat up and removed my covers. And that's when I saw. My body is now covered in purple scales. My hands are now claws. My legs are gone, being replaced by a long tail. I screamed in surprised, but instead of a scream, I heard a hiss. Rolling over, I crawled to the mirror and looked at my reflection. I saw a snake with markings on my skin. My eyes are now yellow slits. Recovering, I stood up and tried to balance myself on my tail. As soon, as I managed to stand up properly, I felt natural about it. I tried to slither, and it worked! I smoothly glided to the door and went downstairs. The doe looked up and smiled at me.

"Good morning, sir. Have a nice sleep?" she asked gladly.

"Fuck sleep. What happened to me?" I angrily shouted.

"That's the nature of the town. Everyone who enters become anthropomorphic creatures and can never leave town again."

"What?"

"Don't worry, sir. Half of the people who lived here used to be foreigners. I'm sure many of them can guide you about the stuff we do."

"I was told that there is a branch of an IT shop in here."

"Oh, there is. Just outside the motel, go right, turn left after two blocks, and there you go?"

"Okay. Since I'm settling in this town, anyway, where am I going to live?"

"As for that, there is a special dormitory for people who lived here for under five years."

"I see, but what about most of my stuff? They are all for humans. What am I?"

"As for your species, you are a naga, a huge snake with arms. As for your stuff, they have been magically altered for you. Look at your outfit." I quickly looked down at my outfit and saw that even if the pants is gone, the t-shirt is retained despite the fact that I grew a few centimeters taller. "Any other questions?"

"Were you a foreigner?"

"No, I'm one of the first settlers from the nineteenth century. As you can see, this town retains our age, thus making this town kind of eternal. But don't worry, we don't run out of good stuff to do."

"Can you show me now to my apartment?"

"No, but someone will." She looked at the back room and shouted, "Hey, Biss, come out."

"Is it really necessary?" a shy female voice asked.

"Come on, you can't guide him unless he sees you."

"Fine." A silver anthropomorphic dragon came out. She looked at me with her emerald slit eyes and said, "Hi. Um... I'm Biss. Nice to... Meet you."

"She will walk you to your apartment and by tomorrow," the doe interrupted, "she is going to tour you."

"Come on!" Biss shouted.

"It's fine."

"Aw..." the white dragon walked me in the streets as a few guys tried to flirt with her. I checked her body and it was amazing. Hourglass figure, double D breasts. Pretty much the bimbo that everyone wants. But her glasses and shyness prove otherwise. We came to an apartment building just a couple of blocks away. It's not really an apartment, but more like an affordable penthouse. Biss walked me to the third floor apartment. It is a simple two bedroom apartment, but it is kinda large. The windows, by the way, has the view of the entire town.

I looked in awe when Biss spoke. "That is just a simple magic I casted around here. I wanted it to look like an actual penthouse."

"Cool," I replied. She blushed.

Then I heard a male voice shouting swears from one of the bedrooms. "Fuck you! I shot first! How the hell did that happen?!"

"Oh, I forgot to mention to you... Um... that you got a roommate." The dragon shyly said. She went and knocked at the door.

"Just wait a minute guys. Who is it?" the voice asked.

"It's me, Biss." She blushed more.

"Biss? Weren't you male yesterday?"

"Yeah, it's her again."

"I see. So what's up?"

"You got a new roommate."

"I thought the apartment's for two only?"

"Well, with me being female, I have to move downstairs and live with her." She shivered in fear. Whoever this woman is, she is quite scary.

"Well, that's a bummer. So who's the new one?"

"Name's Crola, a naga."

"Naga. That's interesting." I heard the door click and open. A 170-centimeter black-furred wolf came out. "He's even purple! Man, I love this town."

"Um... Crola, Hethro. Hethro, Crola," Biss introduced us quietly.

"Wow," the only thing I managed to say as I shaked his hand. I mean, look at that body. It's toned like Terminator. And the hotness of his fur is absolute. But before I get indulged, I released his hand.

Hethro chuckled. "That's kind of an effect. People who touch me gets attracted immediately." He winked at me. I shivered as I thought of gay moments with this guy. "So, anyways, I got to get back to my gaming session." He went back to his room and continued playing.

"So, I got to get packing now." A few minutes later, Biss moved downstairs with "her", whoever she is. I woke up in the middle of the night to get some Dew, but instead of that, I saw Mountain Goo. On it, a sticky note is attached: "For the new guy." Then there's a smiley face on it. I went on and opened it. But just like a shaked soda can, the liquid burst on my face. What I didn't know was that is rubber goo. I struggled to get free, but to no avail. I struggled as the melted rubber went inside me. As the goo covered me, my scales became latex. As my body is becoming latex, the excess gathered on my back. Then two lumps rose from my back and became wings. I quickly slithered to the mirror and saw a latex snake with arms and wings.

"Nice body, huh?" an unknown, yet familiar female voice asked. I looked around to see who it is. The voice is from someone from high school. She used to be one of my best pals, until she committed suicide on Christmas. I saw a female fox. Her figure is the same as my friend's, only with orange fur and a tail. Her face has a snout nowand her hair changed from black to red, but her eyes are still the same. After all these years, I left it behind. But now that I see her, I was pulled back to that moment, the moment she died.

With a whisper, I spoke, "Em?"

"Yo," she greeted me, "Nice to see you walking." She still have that jokes. "I own this place. You get to live with me. Do you have any questions?"

"How are you alive?"

"Well, it's a long story."

"We have until morning." My scales squeaked as I slithered and sat at the couch.

But Em refused. "You must be tired. Sleep. The goo will vanish after a good night's sleep." She bade goodbye and headed downstairs. She is much different than before, I thought as I got up and tried to sleep squeakily. By tomorrow, the rubber is now gone and I'm a flesh naga once more. After breakfast, Biss toured me around the town. The town faces the ocean at the east, the grass fields in the north, the forest in the south, and a desert by the west. All of these parts of the town are inhabited. After two hours of touring, we sat down at a diner.

"May I take your order?" a rabbit asked.

"I'll have meat. Bite-sized," I replied.

"I'll have it too," Biss answered.

"Thank you for your order," the rabbit bowed and went for the kitchen. Biss looked at me and asked, "So, um... You like this town?"

"Man, it is amazing," I said, "I mean, this town is huge. And the fact that magic and future technologies are gathered in this town. All of the people here are nice and--" I was interrupted when scaly lips contacted with mine. Oh my God, a dragon is kissing me. But instantly, Biss pulled away.

"I'm sorry about that," Biss said. She is red as a tomato. "I have been having feelings since we first met."

I blushed, but then I quickly asked her, "It's only been a day."

"Not here, I mean from college." I'm taken aback. I never met someone like her.

"Who are you?"

"It's me, Vince."

"Vince?" I am surprised that my fat male dude is now a hot dragon girl.

"How?"

"Do you know when we lost contact at graduation? Well, I headed for here, looking for vacation. Then I got stuck here. The town made me a tiger, but then Em did some potions, now I'm a dragon." She blushed more. But she shook her head and her eyes filled with determination, she said, "Let's date."

"I don't know. I mean, I never dated anyone."

"We're just gonna hang out and eat dinner."

"Okay, then. We're gonna date." She laughed while I smiled. "How about a movie?"

That night, I was giddy and Hethro noticed while we're playing at the console.

"Bro, you're acting weird."

"Oh, it's nothing," I said, "Biss and I are dating."

"That bitch! She used to be faster than me. Now, she still is faster, even when female."

"It's okay, I used to have her in college."

"So, anyways, you're got a date next week?"

"Yep."

"Good luck, then." I cheered as I won against him. As I went to bed, I smiled. It's because my new life is about to begin.
