#1 of The Moonweaver Chronicles

You all may have read these already, but I'm uploading them anyway :3

It would be really nice, though probably not very feasible, if there was a mass upload for stories >_>;

There was a title rewrite at this point... But everything else should be as you expect :3

As always...

The ordeal that I had just gone through with the phoenix had been a tiresome one. There was nowhere around us for miles by the look and smell of things which suited me just fine. This place was lightly forested and Raptyr had settled down for a nap in a tree. Mazurek laying on my chest and snuggling with me as I scratched his head.

The air had wonderful fragrances that made me feel at peace and I was really enjoying things. I had made sure not to leave behind anything the phoenix could use. We would be quite safe here for a while to chill so that Mazurek could lay his eggs.

I don't know how long it normally took him to lay them but it seems that he was about to soon. We need to jump one more time at the very least to make sure that phoenix wont catch up with us, by the time he tracks this location we cant still be here.

Just as expected, suddenly Mazurek tensed up, clutching his belly. The eggs were coming. He was quite resilient and didn't need much assistance during the birthing process. I had a few spells on standby in case he needed them. There were quite a few of them but only 11 or so seemed viable, I sensed no potential for life in the rest. I would have left them, but if the bird got a hold of them he'd be able to track us. I quickly woke up Raptyr and told him we were leaving. I created two containers, one for the eleven viable eggs which I instructed him to place the eggs in, The other, a sack of flammable material, was for the mass of eggs.

I created a fire so hot that it incinerated the sack and eggs inside on contact, not a trace was left. For good measure, I overturned the soil to make it harder to notice that a flame was on it.

Finally, it was time to move on, I made the portal for us to leave through to the next plane. I couldn't pick one too far without draining too much energy. I picked a nearby plane and we entered through the portal.

I checked to make sure the eggs were safe before we set out, they were, all nine of them.
