I know, I know... I've missed my deadline. But I promise I've been working nonstop on these stories while balancing work and my new job. It's a lot of stuff for one little guy like me to do! I'm sorry! T_T

For real though, I feel kinda bad. I gave you a promise that I haven't exactly kept. And I know none of you are actually mad, but I still feel bad. Shut up, don't judge me! Here's a short story for fun, based on a real-life actual event.

The fox felt his heart bounce as the heavy bass boomed throughout the building. The sounds hurt his sensitive ears for several minutes, the little male wishing he had never come to this club in the first place. After some pretty hard convincing and practically being dragged against his will, Tommy was now stuck in this place while his supposed friend got himself lost on the dance floor. The fox pulled out his phone and began to tap away, trying to zone out and pass the time.

"Now what's a cute little fox doing sitting all by his lonesome over here?" came a deep voice all of the sudden.

Tommy looked up from his phone to see an arctic wolf leaned on the booth chair, supported by his broad arm. The wolf gave a smirk that gave a look of both arousal and interest, causing Tommy to blush just slightly under his also white arctic fur. "I um... I uh... Hi."

"Hi," he said as he sat himself down and glanced at Tommy with his arms folded into the tabletop. "My name's Philip."

"Tommy."

"Aww, cutie's even got a cute name." Philip chuckled. "So I couldn't help but notice... You've been here for almost three hours now and haven't drank anything or danced."

Tommy put his phone down; he was nervous and didn't really want to talk to this guy, even if he was pretty handsome, but he didn't want to come off as rude either. "I'm not really a club person."

Philip laughed. "Well hon, anybody with half an attention span could've noticed that. So what're you here for?"

"Well my friend Austin wants to help me land a guy, but he says I'll never get one unless I go to a club. So he basically tied me up and drove me here, and after only two shots he got up and went to dance and I haven't seen him since."

Philip smirked. "Tied you up, huh? And it is true that you'd find guys easier at a club or gay bar, but honestly you could be surprised where you run into a guy."

Tommy looked over Philip's toned chest and arms for a second, blushing again as he tried to maintain eye contact and not get distracted. "Well I've never had a boyfriend, so I don't even know where to start."

Philip raised a brow. "Really? A sexy little thing like you has never had a boyfriend?"

"Stop, I'm not that great..."

"As cliche as it sounds, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Personally I think you look really handsome." Philip rubbed his chin as he looked over Tommy. "Average build, rounded face, pretty eyes, and of course the prized fluffy tail. All check. Now you just need a little more exposure to social interaction and you'd have these boys eating out of your paws."

Tommy's face was red as he shyly brushed his head fur from his eyes. "You really think so? Cuz there is this one guy I saw earlier tonight... He's an arctic wolf like you."

"Oh yeah? Well let's find him, champ." He grabbed Tommy's wrist and attempted to pull.

Alex resisted, just barely. "W-Wait, I don't know where he is."

"That's why we gotta find him!" the wolf said with a chuckle.

Tommy was easily pulled up and towards the dance floor, regardless of how much he cried in protest. In a matter of seconds he was now surrounded by furs of all shapes and sizes, feeling very awkward. Even though Philip was holding his wrist, it was difficult to see anything in the flashing lights. The loud music didn't help either as he felt his ears flatten against his head in some attempt to muffle the booming. Guys started to bump into him as Philip pulled him through the seemingly endless pool of males.

Philip finally stopped and turned back towards Tommy while at the same time starting to bob to the music. "Did you see him?!" he shouted.

"How can you see anything with all these furs?"

"What?!"

"I said 'How can you see anything with all these furs?!'" Tommy practically screamed.

"You'll get used to it." Philip then looked behind Timmy for a second. "Hey, is that him?" He motioned behind the fox.

Tommy turned slowly and found the white wolf jumping and dancing almost a little too fast to be safe. He had a drink in his paw, not spilling it by some miracle, but it was pretty clear that he was well over drunk state. "Oh boy... Uh yeah, that's him."

"Well don't just stand there. Go!" He nudged the fox gently.

Tommy gulped hard, timidly walking closer towards the wolf. The bigger male wasn't even dancing with anyone, but was whooping and cheering louder than Tommy had ever seen before. Even still, the fox found himself blushing and smiling as he got closer. The wolf was tall, well-muscled, had a very positive personality, a wicked smile, and even a nice butt curving under that white bushy tail. In what felt like long hours, Tommy was finally close enough to the wolf to grab his hand, and he did so to grab the wolf's attention.

"Austin! Can I talk to you?"

The wolf looked at his paw at first and then up to Tommy in a slow moving gaze. Then he smirked goofily. "Hey, dude! How's it going?!"

Tommy kept his grip firm. "I-I need to tell you something." The fix felt his nervous heart rate increasing.

"Tommy, I can't hear anything you're saying!"

"Come back to the table with me!"

"Hack the Maple with you? What does that even mean?"

Tommy growled deeply and felt a sudden furious surge of energy rush through him. He placed his hands on Austin's cheeks and pulled him in for a long, deep, passionate kiss that seemed to last an eternity. Their two bodies slowly rubbed together during the event, but neither of them made a noise until it was finally over. "I love you, you idiot!" The fox screamed just as the song dropped and it was quiet for less than two seconds. Even then it was still enough of a gap to have nearly everyone on the dance floor turn towards the two of them. In one brief moment it was awkward stares, and then another it was cheering and clapping as the next song began.

Austin was silent as he stared at Tommy, mouth agate. His intoxicated mind was shelved for that moment of time as millions of things rushed through his head.

The fox blushed deeply as he looked at how many furs were now staring at the two of them. He felt anxious and scared and turned to run in some direction; anywhere but there.

"Tommy, wait!" Austin called out as he tried to reach for the fox and missed, nearly stumbling over. He chased after him. The alcohol in his system seemed to kick back in, and he lost Tommy somewhere in his blurry vision of the crowd. Austin was persistent though and pushed the crowd aside until he was off the dance floor. He looked around slowly, scanning the booths and tables but not finding his little fox friend. "Maybe the bathroom..."

Tommy shook as he tried to fight the tears from embarrassment. He made himself look like an idiot in front of those strangers, but most importantly in front of his best friend. With his right paw he turned on the warm water from the sink and splashed his face a few times, then stared at his own reflection in the mirror. He sighed deeply, quietly, then padded to the paper towel rack to try his face. "I have to get out of here..." He opened the bathroom door and, against all luck, Austin was waiting on the other side.

"Hey..." the wolf said.

"Austin, I... I need to go home," Tommy replied, too afraid to look into the wolf's eyes now.

"It's late, I guess. Do you mind taking me home too?"

Tommy sighed. Austin probably had a few too many drinks, and even though Tommy wanted to keep himself distant, he still wanted to make sure his friend was safe. "Yeah, sure..."

The two of them walked slowly, silently, all the way outside and to Tommy's car. The drive was awkward the entire way, neither one of them exchanging words or thoughts. One would randomly look at the other with momentary sideways glances, struggling to make any sort of comment of thought. Even the radio was off the entire time, and after ten minutes it started to rain. At last they reached Austin's house. Tommy parked the car and looked down at his lap.

"You're free to stay the night, you know," the wolf said quietly. "I know you don't like driving in the rain."

Tommy looked at Austin for a good minute before responding. "Thanks..."

They both got out of the car, Austin reaching for his keys to unlock the door. They both moved quickly to try and avoid as much rain as possible. Once they got inside, Austin turned on a few lights while Tommy made his way upstairs to the rooms. The fox placed his things down on top of the nightstand and sat on the bed, his mind still racing.

Austin walked in and sat down on the bed too. "So um... I thought about it."

Tommy looked at him with a raised brow. "Thought about what?"

"About what you said," the wolf replied, turning to look at his friend with a gentle smile. "That you love me."

Tommy frowned. "Austin, that was an accident. I didn't mean to say that..."

Austin raised a brow curiously this time. "Really? Well that's a shame," he said as he then wrapped his arm around Tommy's waist and then pulled him in for a deep kiss, causing the fox to gasp sharply. They kissed for quite some time before Austin released and then pressed their foreheads together. "Because I love you too."

Tommy's face was deep red as he looked at Austin with shock and disbelief. His body felt numb and incapable of moving, except for his face that formed a big smile. "Y-You do?..."

Austin took in a deep breath through his nose, absorbing the fox's scent and letting out a happy sigh. "I have for so long, baby. I just didn't think I was your type since you never led me to believe you were that interested."

Austin's breath reeked of alcohol, but for once Tommy didn't mind. All he could do was smile as he kissed his lover sweetly. "Philip was right. I should've just gone for it so long ago."

"Philip?"

Tommy chuckled, running a paw across the muscular wolf's chest. "I met him at the club and he convinced me to finally tell you how I felt. Well, more like he dragged me against my will to the dance floor to find you. In fact, he looked exactly like you. Weird, huh?"

Austin blinked and looked at Tommy dumbfounded. "... Why was my brother at a gay bar?"

"I... couldn't tell you. I didn't even know you had a brother," Tommy replied, just as confused.

"How did he?..." He shook his head and grabbed Tommy by the waist and then brought him down to lay face to face on the bed. "Never mind, it doesn't matter right now." He leaned forward to kiss his fox again, both of them letting out gentle moans as they explored each other's mouths with their tongues. After a few minutes, Austin pushed Tommy directly onto his back and crawled over him.

Tommy whimpered, both in submission and a hint of fear. "W-Wait," he said as he held Austin back by pressing on his chest. "I... I don't think I'm ready to, um..." His ears drooped down and he turned his head away.

Austin watched for a minute, thinking for a long time as he looked over Tommy's face and body. Thankfully he was lucky to have a pretty rapid drinking recovery, so it didn't take long to put two and two together. He leaned down and gently licked Tommy's ear to comfort him. "You're a virgin, aren't you?"

Tommy whined and flipped over, hiding his face inside the pillow.

Austin then rubbed the fox's back gently and licked his ear again. "Hey, we were all virgins once before. It's okay."

Tommy didn't respond aside from another whine.

Austin rubbed his chin for a second as he looked over the pouty fox. The two of them had these interactions before; where Tommy would act like a little brat and stay quiet, most commonly after losing a game of some kind. The wolf knew the one and only way to get the fox out of his rut.

Tickling!

Straddling himself over the fox, Austin dug his paws into Tommy's sides and wiggled his fingers in a fierce tickle.

Tommy flinched upon touch, letting out a suppressed gasp as he tried his best to not laugh. Though with the continued assault, he soon failed and bust out into laughing. "No. No, stop it! Stop it!"

Austin grinned devilishly, continuing his tickling tactics regardless of Tommy's wishes. He spun the fox around to go for his stomach, the true weak spot.

"No no nooooo!" Tommy howled, trying to push the bigger male off him. He continued to laugh and twitch in an almost tortured way. He gripped Austin by the wrists and pried his hands away, taking a moment to breathe.

Austin smiled and leaned down, catching his lover off-guard with another deep kiss. The two of them stayed that way for a long time, enjoying each other's warmth and closeness they have to one another. Austin nuzzled Tommy gently after the kiss was done. "Look at what you've done to me," he said with a chuckle. "But God, I'm so happy right now. I love you, Tommy."

Tommy blushed deeply and nuzzled back. "I love you too... Even if you are a jerk sometimes."

The wolf moved behind Tommy and became big spoon, reaching around to pull the fox as close to his body as possible. "You're a jerk, not me."

"How so?"

"Um, by not telling me you've loved me for awhile? Clearly you're an asshole." He snickered and rubbed Tommy's chest.

"I was terrified of what you'd say. I'm still a little terrified this could just be a dream..."

Austin squeezed the fox hard. "It's not a dream, I promise. I'm gonna be right here when you wake up in the morning."

Tommy groaned. "You mean we can't sleep in?"

Austin chuckled, nuzzling the fox's neck. "Afternoon, then."

"Perfect..."

Cute ending, right? I love stories like these. Just fluff and stupidness and conflict and resolve and romance all packed in one swift punch. Let me know what you think?
