#65 of Entropy Series

The gang wakes up to a bit of a surprise, while others are shaken awake by another.

I have to apologize (I ~always~ apologize...) for the delay in this chapter. I worked here and there, but it's been a hard month for me to stay focused or even hint at creativity. Thankfully this year wasn't as bad as the last (which is thankfully a trend), but every September I have these issues. Having your mate taken from you violently can do that to anyone. On that note, I think I'm doing alright for once. I haven't broken down a single time, and in some cases I even managed to have genuine fun. Thanks, Coonfox, for your immense support and friendship in particular.

The story is slowing down just a tad, but starting next chapter it'll ramp back up just as quickly. Think of this chapter as a sort of reprieve from the war, or a calm in the storm perhaps. Chronologically speaking I also needed some time to pass for an event in next chapter to make sense anyway, so it sort of fits. To those wondering what the next strange world will be in this odyssey, I can say you'll find out soon for sure.

As always, this story contains adult content and explicit sexual imagery. If you aren't allowed or don't wish to view such material, please stop reading immediately. To all the rest, enjoy! Comments and critiques are welcome and encouraged.

"For having the alarms go off, ~someone~ looks like she had a good night." Iolvin grinned right up until his coffee mug touched his lips, which only enticed a smirk from his twin sister. "Anything serious?"

"Yes and no. We had some debris stuck on the hull in a critical spot, but it was easy to remove." Ilaria scanned the mess area until she found a carafe of coffee, the black gold becoming her new priority. "Did Trick not shut off the alarms for a while? They were off when we got back inside."

"Oh, is ~that~ it? Tried something new last night, did you?" Yoyo chuckled and took a bite from a tray of breakfast he was sharing with Adrian, scarfing down some scrambled eggs. "So how was space parkour? Better or worse?"

"Just different." Trick entered the mess for something to eat before heading to bed, the groggy froggy drawing Ari's attention for a moment. "I... I think it's a good way to relax."

"Oh, I bet." Dee fought for the last of the eggs, then hoarfed them down with a grin. "I've always wanted to try a spacewalk. How complicated was it?"

"It was a challenge with our suit selection. Actually, we sort of need to buy new ones when we get back." Ari tapped a control panel in the counter and Prisma appeared over it. "Hey Pris, can you add whatever gear we need for... maybe four EVA suits to our next docking request?"

"Already done--two per airlock. I took the liberty of adding a taller variety for yourself, if that's alright."

"Sure. That actually--"

Mikhaila started tugging on her mother's tail until she turned her attention to the girls. <We took our own liberties, mom. In a few hours you'll have a few custom suits ready in our fabrication matrix.>

<Oh, that's great of you. That saves us a lot of hassle, girls.> Ari turned back to the AI and held up a paw. "Pris, scratch all that. My girls have the suits covered."

<No, order the normal ones still.> Michelle tapped her mother's lower spinal implant and the twins reinforced, <We're creating special suits for you and our uncles. They should perform better than the standard ones, but only you can use them.>

Ari turned back to Prisma again, but the AI held her own paw up this time. "I've got it. I can see their paws, ma'am."

"Oh, sorry. I forgot you could learn stuff like that super-quick."

"So you had suit problems while you were outside?" Yoyo suddenly stood and made his way towards his sister. "Don't you go and do something dangerous without telling me, Lulu. I'd never get ahold of myself if I found you dead like that, knowing I could have watched your tail."

"It wasn't really a problem, just an issue I fixed with my nanites." Ari smiled to herself for a moment. "I had a really good instructor watching over me in any case."

"Well... good." Yoyo watched as his sister's body language changed, the otter sporting the most cheerful mood she'd had in months. "Gods, that's it. I know that look; you've found a girl."

"I... uh..."

Yoyo leaned in and lowered his voice. "Who is it? Trick? No, that's far too easy..."

Ari finished making her coffee and took a long sip, purposefully drawing it out to waste time. "Alex is a very good friend, that's all."

"Well there aren't too many women on-board, so I'll guess pretty soon here..."

At exactly the wrong moment, Rhyme walked through the door and immediately caused Ari to blush and cower her head behind her cup. "Well you can... keep on guessing..."

"What?" Yoyo followed Ari's eyes towards the tanuki, then flared open a toothy grin. "A guy? I mean, I know you'll fuck guys... but you--"

"Rhyme's a nice person..." Ari stared at the raccoon dog while she walked over to the food station, breaking eye contact when she looked back as well. "I don't know. Something just clicked in my head, like some sort of... explosion of what I was missing..."

Yoyo smothered his grin and gave his twin sister a hug. "I just want you to be happy, sis. Who you like isn't my concern, only that you do in fact have someone in your life. So is this a new thing, or something loose...?"

"It's just me, for now. It might just be a crush, too. I dunno." Ari smiled again as Rhyme walked over for some coffee of her own. "We'll see what comes of it."

"Well in that case, good luck. You deserve someone nice, Lulu."

"Thanks, lil' bro. I'm not so sure--" Ari furled her brow when she saw her father walk into the room, followed closely by her mother and Prisma's mechanical, headless body. "--what the hell they're doing here. Or ~how~ for that matter."

Yoyo turned to look and ended up waving to their mother. "Well we did land a few hours ago."

"I never authorized that!"

Carbon snuck up behind the otter and presented a portable terminal tablet with her forged signature on it. "I may have cheated that one."

"Carbon... What the fuck? We had complications last night."

"And you fixed them, so no biggie." The hybrid reeled Sydney in for a hug, then let her loose to get her breakfast. "I wanted to surprise you two. And speaking of surprises, where did these pastries come from?"

The female giraffe, Janet, poked her elongated head out of the serving counter. "Some of those cute quadruplets made them. You wouldn't believe how fun it is to watch them cook, either."

"Oh yeah, Ashe loves to bake. I guess her other selves might also." Ari nodded to her parents as they smothered Dee for a moment, taking the time to call for the blind wolves. "Ashe? Punk? Uh... What do we even call the magic one? Sparks?"

Yoyo chuckled, "Good enough for me."

"But you give everyone nicknames."

Ashe Prime found her way to the kitchen door and smiled straight forward towards nobody. "You like the tasty treats?"

Carbon grumbled her throat to redirect the vapid stare towards her. "Absolutely. I'm surprised you scrounged these up when we haven't properly stocked the kitchen."

"Ari's kids made what we needed, sort of. It's chemically the same ingredients... but they're homogeneous. Texture can be an issue, too." Ashe pulled another version of herself out of the doorway and nudged her snout towards her. "Uh... Sparks here did the pastries; she's really good with those. I'm about ready to start on the cakes though."

"Cakes?"

Ashe nodded and queried, "Yeah. We'll probably need two with the size of the crew. So what kinds of cake do you two like?"

Ari tilted her head to the side in confusion. "No, I'm asking why we're having cake..."

"For your birthdays, honeybuns!" Catherine nearly pulled her children to the floor with a strong hug from behind. "Now it may be your birthdays, but that doesn't mean you can go without giving me a hug."

"It's our...?"

Yoyo finished his sister's thought, now just as baffled. "...birthday?"

"You two always did forget, ever since you were five." Cathy gave her children two quick smooches on the snouts. "Happy birthday, kids. And thank you for setting this up, Carbon."

"It's my little gift." Carbon spied Cid and beamed out a devious smile. "And speaking of surprise gifts..."

Sydney suddenly lurched upright as a paw slid down the front of her dress slacks. "Carbon!?"

"You know the rule!"

"No! Naughty otter. Don't make me spray you with water." Cid sighed as she removed the offending paw, much to Carbon's dissatisfaction. "You may be alright with it, but I don't fully approve of that rule yet. Besides, I'm not really... built for showing off, if you get me."

"Oh, yeah..." Carbon sat down and nibbled on a cranberry tart. "Sorry, Cid. Still feeling the effects of that heat..."

"A likely excuse, but I'll take it." Cid sat next to Carbon and sipped some coffee. "So, who are the new faces?"

"I thought you knew. That fur hugging her children is Cathy, and this is--"

"Vovk! Wow. I didn't recognize him without the beard and mane."

Vasily squinted as he analyzed Cid's features. "Oh, you seem familiar..." He held up a paw to block out all but her face, then shot his eyes open in realization. "I remember now. You're Sydn--"

"--Cid! Yes, I'm Cid." Sydney shot out a paw and offered a shake. "You were the best combat trainer I ever had at the academy, Vovk."

"Don't... uh..." The husky finally put the suit and masculine grooming together into the full picture. "I guess we can call each other whatever we'd like, right Cid?"

"Y-Yeah." She fidgeted with her paw until Vasily finally took it, carefully squeezing so it looked like Cid's shake was firm when it was actually quite dainty in his massive paw. "You're looking good. I hear you still train furs?"

"Sometimes, if there's nobody teaching a certain specialty at the base. There's not much demand for it now with the Coalition of Nations though." Vasily's nose started winking, then he outright took in a few hard breaths. "Okay, that's you. I'm done here."

Carbon tried to hold Vasily back, but he forcibly rose to his hindpaws. "Don't be like that. It's your pups' birthdays."

"You know my rules. I'm leaving until you get that taken care of, old friend."

"Wait..."

Cid tapped her lover on the shoulder. "What's wrong?"

"He refuses to show me an erection." Carbon sat down in defeat as Vasily fled the scene. "He's embarrassed to be around me when I'm in heat. I think he only wants to see me as a guy or something."

"Oh... Yeah, that could get strange I guess. Friends don't normally just have an impulse to screw each other, nor does that tend to leave them on the same field as before." Cid sighed and went for another sip of coffee. "I'd just let him and his family be for a while."

"Or we could just get it out of my system..."

Cid set her coffee mug on top of Carbon's head. "No. Bad otter."

"Please?"

"Damn, you're really wanting it." Sydney looked over to various furs in the room, then locked on the elder twins. "Fine. I'll work on something that might help, but we'll have to do it later. So play nice and clean for now?"

"As long as we can get dirty later." Carbon snuggled up against her lover. "I want to repay you for leaving you behind."

Cid threw her arm around Carbon's shoulder and held her close. "Well I can't fault you for being considerate. I love you, otter."

"I love you too, kitten."

Sydney groaned at the extremely feminine name, but let it slide since one of them was openly female at the moment. "...Meerkitten..."

Carbon lifted her mask and gave Cid's nose a lick. "Meerkitten."

coursera-64-black.png

"This is going to be the best cake ever now!" Ashe followed the sound of India as well as the taps of her cane until she reached the Rihzyet kitchen. "You've got a much better oven than those big ones on the ship, Cathy. Oh, no offense."

"None taken. I love the Starbreeze but I'm not hiding the fact that she's a bit industrial in ways that matter." Ilaria walked through the side door and smiled pleadingly towards Elliot, the otter simply rolling his eyes as he led the other Ashes over to help the first. "It's good to be back. I needed some time to think after that last... outing."

"You can say it, Ielunschra. I'm not naive as to what you're doing out there." Vasily gave his daughter a strong hug. "I know you're pushing yourself, and I'm proud of you. Both of you."

"Well we're both staying safe at least." Iolvin joined in on the hug for a second, then went back to holding Adrian's paw. "You should see her out there, though. She's like a dancer the way she moves under pressure."

"Oh, I can believe it. In fact," Vasily started, pausing long enough to shoot Carbon a knowing glance, "I've probably witnessed something similar in my day."

"Oh, yeah. Carbon's got some moves too, alright."

The hybrid found a spot on the living room couch and slumped down into it, taking Cid for the ride with a slight yip. "Actually, he's talking about your mother. She moves quick when her family and tribe is in danger."

Yoyo gawked for a moment, then stared at the otter under inspection. "Mom? You're not talking about combat, are you?"

"No, not in combat." Cat smiled reassuringly for her son and gave him a quick, tender kiss. "When we had to leave Samoa, it was right after those accidents building that first space tower. The waves that crashed ship made didn't give us much time to move, and a lot of the tribe died despite our efforts. I saved a few, though..."

"She was wonderful." Vasily pulled his wife in for a slow, deep kiss before leaving her stunned beneath his arm. "I had my eye on her since we met, but it was how she carried herself those days that made me really want her. She's selfless to a fault, and I'd have it no other way."

"Th-Thank you, honey..." Cathy caught her composure and gave her husband a return kiss. "I love you, Vasily."

"I love you too, Catherine."

"I haven't seen you two this sweet to each other since we were kids." Ari passed by her mother on the way to another couch, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek en route. "I don't know what changed, but keep it up. You both seem happier now."

"Well when we say you two are the greatest thing to happen to us, we really mean it." Cathy tugged her husband over to sit with her children, then gave her daughter a more passionate, but prompt, kiss. "Your father said he used to be unhappy after he settled down. I can sort of agree as well... but then the two of you brought back that spark of passion we used to have."

"Ya' dad even put down the bottle for your mum." The whole room turned to Patrick as he walked in from their bedroom. "That's a good bloke, thinkin' o' family first. You should be proud, kids."

"Oh, you did get my message!" Cat reached out a paw and demanded Patrick return a dainty shake. "It's not a family party without the ~whole~ family here. I'm glad you could make it today."

"I been 'ere since half past, actually." The squirrel nodded to the others then took a sip from a whisky in his paw, and apparently not his first by the way he wobbled about. "Figured it'd be kinder to show me face than hide in the dark. I'm not really much o' family anymore without my little girl, but it's a... celebration..."

Ari noticed the sadness in the squirrel's sloppy words and quickly rose to give him a hug. "Don't say that. You're absolutely family. You were always like a second father to me growing up." She gave Pat a few smooches on the cheek and forced a smile out of the guy. "We all miss Robyn, but we'd miss you all the same if you were gone."

"That's might kind of ya', Ari." Pat took another swig of his drink before setting it down on the coffee table. "I just miss her. After losing her mother to one war and then my little girl in a new one... I'm all on my own, now."

"No you're not. We're right here with you, dad."

The squirrel shot stiff, instantly a bit more sober from Ari's kind words. "That's... outright warm of you to say. You're good people, you lot."

Ari nodded and kissed her father-inLaw one last time on his cheek. "Well now you're better, but I'm thinking about her. Excuse me while I find me one of those drinks."

"It's not even noon, sweetie..."

"And I can't actually get drunk, so what does it matter?" Ilaria found the same single-malt Pat had sinfully left open near the edge of the kitchen bar, then calmly sought out a proper glass. "You moved some things. Where are the tumblers now?"

"Under the liquor, honey. Your father's trying to hide all traces of the stuff from himself."

"Well good for the both of you. I'm glad he's focusing more on you than other distractions now." The otter ducked beneath the counter to raid the liquor cabinets, but her mechanical arm suddenly clenched up and her fingers started squeezing into a tight fist. "Ah! Fuck!"

"Lulu!" Yoyo was on his hindpaws in what seemed like milliseconds as he responded to the cry. "What's the matter, sis!?"

"This fucki--NNG! Shit!" Ari's fist clenched so tight into itself that her blunt claws managed to draw blood from a punctured bladder. "Just get it the fuck off me!"

Yoyo wasted no time, unsnapping the main clasps and yanking the appendage free of his sister's shoulder socket. "Gods... Are you alright? Did that stop... whatever that was?"

"Yeah... Gods, that hurt way too much..." Ari panted as her heart slowed to a normal pace, her head additionally feeling a bit light from the sudden purge of blood. "My girls made a damn good replacement, but it's more fragile than the real thing. That damage from the mission still isn't all fixed."

"Well then let me have a look." Olivia poked her head in through the side door, but still stayed technically outside the house. "Mind if I join you?"

"Perfect timing." Ari didn't even bother getting herself up, instead pulling out that tumbler and awkwardly pouring a drink on the tile floor. "Liv, these are my parents. Mom and dad, this is Olivia. She's taking care of my prostheses, amongst other things."

Vasily stood to greet the ermine, initially with a strong shake but modulating his grip once the androgynous fur's preferred gender rang in his ears. "I'm Vasily and this is my wife Catherine. Always a pleasure to meet a friend of our daughter's."

"We only just met, really. I've been busy helping in the engine room for a while." Liv pointed a paw to the door and inquired, "What about the others, Ari? Are we just leaving the lander for a while?"

"We're going to make a return ferry whenever the rolling leave switches. Just have everyone back when their leave is up in the morning." Ari replaced the whisky bottle, then paused before taking a sip of her drink. "Is R&B in the first set, by any chance? A short tanuki guy, probably in his uniform still?"

"Yeah, you mean the guy in the bodysuit? Huh... I thought he was a raccoon."

"He gets that a lot."

Liv stepped barely outside again and called for the tanuki before slipping her head around the door like before. "Yeah, he's here. Want me to take your arm and scoot, or...?"

"Nah, join the fun if you'd like. Our home is your home. Same goes for any of the crew." Ari took her now-unpowered arm from her brother and placed it on the bar top. "Forget about the arm for now. You can take a look at it when you're back on duty."

"Actually, I find that sort of thing relaxing to be honest." Liv stepped back inside, then walked over to make herself a drink. "I heard it was your birthday. Maybe this could be a good gift?"

"No, a better one would be seeing you relax by the pool. I don't like stealing people's free time." Ari put her glass on the bar and held up her paw, the ermine then struggling to lift her to her hindpaws. "Thanks. Now if only I could get tipsy without drinking this whole cabinet..."

"A captain shouldn't show that side of herself to her men." Rhyme walked into the house and shut the door behind her. "You needed me, ma'am?"

"Just wanted you to join our fun. I owe you for fixing my ship." Ari walked over and threw her only arm around Rhyme's shoulders, meanwhile expertly keeping her drink contained to its glass. "Guys, this is Rhyme. Without him, we wouldn't have been able to land the Starbreeze today and start this fun."

"Oh. Yeah, nice to meet you folks." The tanuki gave the otter hanging from her a questioning look, then asked the whole family what was on her mind. "So is this some kind of party? I see drinks and all..."

"That's just a few drunkards, but yes." Vasily offered a paw once more, this time clamping down with full force. "Today's our kids' birthdays, so we're just getting together for a while. You're welcome to join us."

"Oh, more than that, dear." Cathy rose to greet Rhyme as well, gifting her with a welcoming hug. "This young man brought our whelps home. He deserves at least a hot meal and a drink for that."

"I'm not sure--"

"Then it's settled! Rhyme's staying for dinner and cake." Ari grinned as she answered for the tanuki. "We'll have a blast. And don't worry about leave time; I'll give you extra to make up for it."

"Oh, well in that case," Rhyme snatched Ari's whisky and took a hefty draw of the amber liquid before continuing, "let the party begin."

coursera-64-black.png

"So you just walked into a nuclear reactor?" Rhyme started laughing at the notion. "Sorry, but that's too crazy to be true!"

"Nope. It definitely happened." Ilaria smiled as she pulled her top down a bit to give the tanuki a clearer view of the power core embedded in her chest, amongst other things. "How else do you think I started glowing?"

"Oh gods." Iolvin shook his head as he finished choking on some cake. "Don't listen to her. She's a ~horrible~ liar."

"Well I'd almost believe it!" Rhyme swayed a little as she found her glass of bourbon, then struggled to keep from spilling it. "You guys are pretty crazy now that I'm hearing all these stories."

Carbon chuckled as she watched the raccoon dog take a hefty gulp of her booze. "What's crazy is how much liquor you can put down, Rhyme."

"Years of pract--" Rhyme stalled a moment as she recovered from nearly dropping her tumbler on the ground, "--practice. But hey! Why the fuck am I the only one dr-drinking so much? Y'all are just lightweights!"

Vasily snorted a nasal chortle as he cuddled his passed-out wife in his arms. "Or maybe you're aiming for the wrong division."

"No, that's all wrong." Ari feigned clearing her throat to emphasize as she poured out the remaining contents of a bottle into her glass. "That's the second bottle of the night, just for me. We just can't get drunk."

"Now you're ~obviously~ lying," remarked the tanuki.

"Wrong again, Rhy." Yoyo tapped his sister's chest implant rather than his, giving himself an excuse to lean against her only breast. "Those things in us take all the fun out of drinking."

"Some furs like the taste, thank you very much." Ari rolled her eyes as Yoyo 'lost balance' and got himself a pawful of her tit. "But my idiot brother here is right. They sap the alcohol right from the stuff. Took the whole night just to get a tingly buzz."

"Boo. That's not fun, or fair."

Adrian pulled his man away from his twin sister before his lechery went any further. "Well like it or not, that's how we are now."

Suddenly all three of the otters' phones vibrated with a message. <We may be able to change that behavior, if only for a small window of time.>

Ari looked around for Sprite, eventually finding her children across the room using their tentacles to play with the slimeball. "Mik? Chelle? Could we speak with Sprite a moment, please?"

<We were talking with her about your problem.>

<Oh. Well ~some~ furs happen to like the taste of liquor ~without~ acting like fools.> Ari looked around to her present company and admitted, <But maybe the occasional wild party would be nice. What did you guys have in mind?>

<Sprite can interface with your implants and temporarily reprogram your nanites' upkeep routines.>

Iolvin shot forward in his seat at that news. <Great! When can we start?>

"Gods... ~You~ can give that a try whenever you like. I'm about to pass out without the help of booze." Ari stood and offered a paw to Rhyme. "You look like you could use a break too. Care to see the rest of the house?"

"Oh... Well, sure." The tanuki tried to stand on her own, but finally relied on that paw to maintain her balance. "Woah. Somewhere with a place to sit, please."

"Well in that case, maybe I'll bring you upstairs for a bit. Awesome view of the stars from my window." Ilaria led Rhyme slowly towards the stairs, then struggled with keeping both her own and the tanuki's balance as they slowly climbed. "You really did put 'em down for a small guy."

"Eh, he's young. Earns him some leeway." Yoyo smiled, a hint of knowing in his eyes, as his sister reached the top of the exposed stairwell. "You calling it a night, Lulu?"

"Not sure. Probably soon." Rhyme let go of her paw, causing Ari to fret over the drunken fur until she found a doorframe to grab. "If I don't come back then have a good night, Yoyo. Oh, and happy birthday, lil' bro."

"Happy birthday, big sis." Yoyo turned his attention back to the kids and Sprite but paused to warn, "He better not end up passed out on ~my~ bed, by the way."

"You and Dee will have all the cozy bed you'd like tonight; don't worry." Ari walked over to her door and helped Rhyme slip through it, only to fall on her bed. "It'll be just my luck that it all starts hitting you hard the minute I move you."

"I'm fine. I just need some water or something." Rhyme looked around for the bathroom and tried to reach Ari's sink, but fell back onto the bed instead. "Could you...?"

Ari reached below her desk for a few seconds, eventually finding her own personal stash of bottled water. "You wouldn't want to drink from the sink. There's a taste--"

"Who's this?"

Ari's eyes flared open as a loose set of drunken paws held up a glass-framed photo of herself, Yoyo, and Robyn back in high school. She nearly tripped on her bad leg as she quickly snatched the photo and set it back on her nightstand. "Don't worry about it. Drink some water."

"Why's she not here? Did you two have a fight?"

Ari spotted Rhyme staring at the photo, so she flipped it face-down. "You don't want to hear about all that. Look, you really can see the stars well from here..."

"But you guys look so happy together." Rhyme sighed and took the bottle, chugging its contents in mere seconds. "You said you'd be there if I needed to talk, so now I'm here for you too. So talk."

"I'd really rather not ruin a good day with my mood." Ari laid back on her bed, then out of habit removed her leg with a particular swishing motion. "I'll... I'll take you up on that offer later, maybe tomorrow. But for now, let's just enjoy ourselves. Alright?"

"That bad, huh?" Rhyme laid back as well, crossing her arms behind her head. "Don't worry about it. We'll chat 'n stuff however you like, birthday girl. Oh, how old are you anyway?"

"A lady never tells, and a ~gentleman~ never asks." Ari tried to playfully punch Rhyme on the shoulder, but only ended up rolling over with half her body missing to keep balance. "Twenty-nine. I'm probably sounding like your mother right now, eh?"

"Not at all. I'm thirty-something."

Ari gawked at the drunken tanuki, hoping that was the booze talking. "Did you say thirty? You look closer to twenty."

"Nope. Not sure exactly how old I am, but some doctors guessed I was about seven or eight when I was rescued." Rhyme sighed as she remembered her childhood, then shook her head and snapped out of her drunken stupor. "Almost thirty years to the day, actually--uh... three more to be exact. If I was seven then, I'm thirty-seven now."

"There's no way." Ari suddenly reminded herself of Carbon's apparent situation and suddenly changed her mind. "Fuck, you really must be like Carbon. Maybe not as extreme, but damn."

"Really? How old is she?"

"Probably going on a century by the stories she's told." Ilaria held her paw up to her gaze, then looked down to her missing limbs a bit more saddened. "My brother, Dee, and I are sort of in the same boat too. Sprite says we'll go on several hundred more years."

"Wow. That made me go from feeling strange to... less of that." A silent tension arose in the room, but Rhyme tried to break it. "So you call that guy 'Dee' then? And your brother is 'Yoyo' too. Any other names I should know about?"

"Elliot goes by 'Ellie', and Rob--" Ari stopped herself before she could even consciously contemplate her own words. "Uh, yeah. Just Ellie. And what about you? 'R&B' doesn't match with Rhyme."

"That's because my caretaker at the orphanage, Mister Bleu, was an evil idiot. He called me Rhythm Rhyme Bleu. Thought it was cute or something." Rhyme closed her eyes and rolled over, alcohol-induced sleepiness clouding her mind. "I always got teased for 'R&B' or stuff like 'no rhyme or reason' by the other kids. Then the military dredged up my name again in training, so it only started up again. Less ill intent the second time around though."

"Well I'll call you whatever you'd like, so don't worry there. Well, I do sort of like my brother's nickname a little, though maybe with a small change." Ari chuckled to herself before voicing out her own variant. "What do you think about that, ~RhyRhy~?"

The only response that came from Rhyme was a faint murmur and a satisfied coo as she rolled up against Ari in sound sleep.

"Bored you to death, huh?" Ari checked that she'd closed her door before wrestling down Rhyme's bodysuit. "Guess we should both get some sleep here. Can't exactly have you sharing the couch with someone with that secret of yours."

"...Courtney... stop..." Ari paused a moment until she she pieced together that Rhyme was talking in her sleep. "...like it warm..."

"You won't like my bed with this on, hon. Thick fur." Ilaria smiled as she worked the form-fitting suit free of the tanuki's hindpaws then primitively folded it and placed it on her nightstand, all with just one arm. "And ~of course~ you wear guy shorts under that thing, heeeee... Sleep tight, Rhyme."

"...'Night, Courtney... 'Night, Will..."

"Friends of yours?" Ari shoved the covers from beneath Rhyme and then looped them over the both of them. "Good night, Rhyme."

"...Love you both..."

"You...?" Ari just blinked at Rhyme for a few seconds, then rolled over to face away in unwarranted embarrassment. "Oh, your parents. Right. Well have fun in your dreams, Rhyme."

coursera-64-black.png

"Lu~lu~..." Iolvin creaked open his sister's door to sneak inside. "I have a pre~sent for you~..."

Zoë followed closely behind, though with much more protest in every careful step. "Iolvin, we shouldn't... You're not yourself."

"What, I can't give my own twin sister a birthday gift? Do I have to remind you what... gods... what you..."

Zoe stopped in her tracks, her presence in the room being enough to satisfy her bond with her patron. "I know my place, mi'lord. I just didn't think you cared."

"Don't call me that. You know I hate that." Yoyo staggered across the room, the drunken otter apparently not fully registering the point of the human's words. "Lulu, it's still our birthday so..." He slid beneath the covers and cradled the warmth beneath. "I thought I'd give you a birthday fuck bef--hyuck--fore it's to late."

"Iolvin, maybe we should let her sleep. She's under a lot of stress."

"And sex is the best medicine! She's reeking o' heat." Yoyo didn't even attempt to be civil or follow ceremony, simply pulling out his growing manhood and reaching for his sister's hips. "Boxers? When'd you start with those?"

"Iolvin, please don't..."

Yoyo pulled down those shorts and leaned forward to smell his sister's hair, not realizing he had to lean a bit further than normal to reach her neck. "Plenty of time until midnight, sis. We can take our time if you'd like."

Zoë noticed the odd positioning of her patron and walked closer for a better look. "Iolvin, wait... I don't think that's--"

"Heeeee!" Yoyo squeaked as he sank his spire of flesh deep into the soaked pussy ahead of him. "You're tighter than normal, Lulu. Damn."

Zoë reeled her hands to her mouth when she heard a purposefully muffled whimper from beneath the blankets. She hushedly coughed out, "Iolvin, stop!"

"She might be sleeping but she ~loves~ it in her dreams. Trust me." Yoyo shoved himself as deep as he could manage, before tapping his tip to the end of the line. "I don't think I can knot you like this, sis. ~Fuck~ you get tight when you're in heat."

"Ah!..."

Yoyo smirked as he took the subdued cry for an approval. "Awake and dying for it bad, huh? Hits you like a ton of bricks?" Yoyo tried to wedge his manhood deeper, but a sudden yipe froze him in place. "Sorry, sis. I'll... go easier then. I'd never hurt you, Lulu."

Zoë moved to the side of the bed, but hesitated from acting any further. "Iolvin, just... be gentle with her."

"Of course. I love her."

Iolvin started the true act, done with testing and prodding. That scent in the air only left one goal in his head, and he greedily intended to achieve it as soon as possible now. He pistoned faster and faster into that warm and wet love-pocket until eventually the light sound of slapping fur and flesh permeated the covers. Every so often a quiet whimper or groan made itself known, but still far below the grunts and slurps of the deed at paw.

"I think... I'm gonna cum, sis..." Yoyo tried to press the rest of his cock deeper one last time, but the folds around his flesh coiled impossibly tight in protest. "Really? If I'm gonna blow, you don't want the knot? In heat? Do you want me to... finish on your face or something?"

A lone paw frantically slid down and kneaded on Iolvin's quivering balls in response.

"Ah, just no knot then. Sure thing, Lulu." Yoyo resumed his onslaught, his muscles hitching as they pumped their last painful draws. "I'm... Gods, I'm cumming, Lulu!"

Yoyo crammed his manhood into the small, tight wonder of a pussy so his tip could twitch against the deepest parts. His cock tensed and swelled, then his balls pulled in close as they opened the floodgates. Without the knot to hold anything back, close to a quart of liquid otter overflowed in a massive torrent onto the bed. The flow kept up for a full minute but the pent-up otter eventually ran his balls to satisfying levels of depletion. Then his cock only haphazardly squirted out the occasional bit of excess as it started to deflate back to normal.

"Fuck, sis... That was perfect." Yoyo leaned forward and planted a loving kiss on his sister's neck. "Want to try again in a few? Maybe go for a tie and make sure that flame goes out?"

"No! Uh...!" Zoë lunged forward onto the bed, then surprised her patron by straddling him over the covers. "Could I maybe... have some of that?"

"Oh, really now?" Yoyo grabbed Zoë's hips, rolled onto his back, and ground his flaccid manhood unto her. "And you said we shouldn't disturb her. Change of mind?"

Zoë looked over as Rhyme shifted beneath the covers, barely noticing she was quietly crying. "M-Maybe... we should find your bed then?" She rose by her knees and nudged her nose towards the bathroom, doing her best to distract her patron. "I'm sure Adrian would... maybe like to join us."

"And here I thought you didn't like the idea of two men in one bed." Yoyo sat up and gave Zoë a quick kiss. "Thank you for being so understanding, kiddo. Let's go then, before I pass out."

"Y-Yeah..." The human slipped off of her patron, then offered a hand to help him slip out of bed. "Let's go make sure you do pass out, from pleasure. ~I'm~ your gift tonight."

"Sounds great, Zoë. Oh, but wait..." The human nearly lost it when Yoyo turned around and gave his sister another kiss, but thankfully Rhyme had clambered over Ilaria to sob on the far side of the bed. "Happy birthday, Lulu."
