Chapter One: In the Sand, Part One

Koji was a tiny shark, so to say. He was nine years old and about four and half feet tall. The orphanage kept his orange hair short and cut, barely qualifying as a bald. He was lying down on his bare stripped bed, silently reflecting on the day and hoping his life would change for the better.

The tiny shark didn't get along with the other kids, he never understood them nor why they wanted to be so violent. He hoped that one day his parents would return to him. He could vividly remember his parent's faces from four years before when Zero Hour occurred and all the other furs in the dimension were preemptively evicted out.

In the chaos of every single person on a single planet he was lost on the Golden Gate Bridge. He was picked up by the government and placed into an orphanage with the hope that his parents would find him again. However, four years later all hope seemed to be lost.

"God, Gods if you're there. If you followed us into this world, please find my parents, please help me. I feel so alone and all I want is my parents again." Koji said to his own self as he prayed to whatever gods might have been listening to him. He closed his eyes and felt like crying himself to sleep. Intercepting his eye closing, a bright golden flash suddenly brought the shark back.

Koji's mind wandered as he pondered on the flash in his window. He slowly pushed his thick covers off his body and stepped on to the floor, shivering as his feet made contact with the cold orphanage floor. He walked over to the window and pulled himself up and into the large frame of the window to look outside. He peered outside and was amazed at what had appeared.

There was an orange vortex of light and energy vastly It was spinning in the forest just outside of the orphanage's property. Koji looked down and as the light reflected in his eyes he stood amazed at what he saw. Against his best judgement he opened the window and the cool forest air blew into the room. He poked his head out of the window, wind blowing his fin around.

Using his arms Koji pushed himself out of the window and onto the metal grating that was the building's fire escape. He shivered as his bare feet touched the cold metal but being brave Koji continued on as he slowly walked down the fire escape and landed on the ground, greeted by cold dew on his feet.

Koji wobbled over to where he saw the orange light, peering into the thick forest and attempting to locate the source of the mysterious glow. In the night the tiny shark found something, a person lying stomach flat on the ground knocked out.

Ignorant as a kid, Koji started to shake the person and flipped him the other way around. On the person's neck there was a strange necklace, a shield like design with a blue gem, quite strangely it was glowing.

The ground person groaned as his body awoke. He looked as if he was filled with pain but did not know how to describe it. He stumbled as Koji silently helped him up from the ground. The mysterious stranger looked down and nodded at the tiny shark, before walking away as if to establish distance.

Koji didn't follow knowing when he wasn't needed but instead focused on the person and wondered where the orange glow originated from. Suddenly the silence between the two strangers was broken.

"It's strange you know trying to get to your world, and finding one of you here. I never thought that one of your own would survive. However, there are more dangerous things to worry about. I need to set up the dimensional barrier before it weakens in ten or so years." The stranger said dropping a crapton of information on Koji, which the shark would forget.

"What?" Koji asked with his tiny pitched voice, voicing his confusion that his nine year old mind could barely handle. He tilted his head and tried to get a better explanation from the older shark as he walked away, with a very obvious limp.

"Well I have ten years or so, so little shark, why don't we go and get some food, I have been watching this spot for a while and there's a dinner down the street just past the clearing. By the way what's your name?" The stranger asked Koji as he took the tiny shark's hand and started to guide him away from the orphanage that defined his life.

Koji walked through the forest, not noticing the cold wind on his body, the tiny shark instead focusing on the stranger taking him away. It sounded a bit strange and would have looked bad with and without context but in his heart the larger shark had no bad intention. No cars were on the road at the time and the dinner was only a bit further down the road.

"So then Koji, for some introductions my name is Twilight, but that doesn't matter right now, what's important now is that you live on, you are a part of a..." Twilight said introducing himself and piling enough information into Koji's brain cache that his attention snapped. The shark ignored the important information being sent to him as he tried to pick up the pieces of his brain that just crashed. "But don't worry you won't have to remember that for a while, because I can, your friendly neighborhood terabyte ssd. That is unless in between now and my final regenerative burst, I like hit my head or something." Koji's mind finally reassembled itself but without any context, of which there was barely in the first place, all of Twilight's words sounded big and confusing.

"Now you have a lot of power inside of yourself, you weigh what? Maybe about 110 pounds, only one of those pounds turning completely into energy would result in 9.7 megatons of energy; everyone is a ticking time bomb." Twilight said confusing Koji even furthermore.

"Don't worry about that, you're kind rarely have to use even a fraction of their mass, but they can use others as well." Twilight said as they arrived at the dinner and to Koji's disappointment it seemed to be closed. The tiny shark vocalized his discontent with an annoyed growl.

"Oh, well then that could be a problem, well let's open the door then. The door blocked will be opened when you believe. Ha, I sound like a fortune cookie; hopefully I don't taste like one though." Twilight said as he placed his hand on the door and suddenly there was the sound of water freezing, followed by the hinges of the door creaking as it swung open. Twilight entered followed by a nervous Koji, who had never to his knowledge done any actions that evil.

"Ah, I can smell them already." Twilight said playing the pronoun game with Koji almost with a serious purpose. He laughed as the child shark gave him none of it and instead stood behind his leg silent and not caring to answer the question. "Well then you are the silent shark with you and your silly shenanigans slipping up my sentence structure."

"What?" Koji said finally speaking up when Twilight confronted him about his silence, or just pure confusion on the matter.

"Use your words little man, but you were supposed to ask about what I meant and then I would have said something along the lines of, Hamburgers, the cacolet of non-combatant reality, then you would have been confused about that and I would tell you, that you would learn about it one day. It's a lose-lose situation for you, I guess and you'd probably never learn about the cacolet, but whatever." Twilight said undeniably spitting out a string of words, with enough annunciations that he would have made a rapper jealous as Twilight fit as many words as possible into one breath.

"Now then, let's get some burgers into your system. You look famished; do they even feed you at the orphanage?" Twilight said as he walked into the empty dinner, no alarms blaring like usual. "Now then you're tall enough to enter the freezer, go pick out a nice burger while I start the grill."

Koji being the child he was took Twilight's orders and executed them. Barely managing to reach the freezer, Koji managed to open the freezer door while Twilight walked over to the other side of the dinner's kitchen and began working with the stove. Koji shivered as he entered the freezer, his toes touched the cold metal ground but he wouldn't have worried about frostbite for now.

However and perhaps quite suddenly another golden light appeared outside of the freezer door. Koji turned around as he saw Twilight's body get ripped off the stove and hit the freezer door. It slammed shut with a bang and trapped Koji on the inside. Koji realized that he was no better than he was before; he was once again alone as he realized that Twilight abandoned him. He realized that no one wanted him and that he was better off keeping to himself. The little shark began to feel the cold against his body and he realized that he would have needed a miracle to save himself.

...

Las Vegas, a city of sin and greed standing silently with in a sea of endless sand that stretches for miles and miles on end. A city built on the simple idea that the house always would win...

A man could go to a casino in the city and win a Jackpot, get a million dollars and still the house would win because of the increased attention it could cause. People would flood the casino hoping to get the machines to land on three sevens again, and the house would easily recover her losses.

Meanwhile, the man has gone off and in greed has spent all his money on one million dollar hooker or a million dollar hookers. When he returned to his town, his head shaved because he needed the monkey for a bus, no one would know nor care about what happened, because in Las Vegas, the house always wins.

Like it always seemed to Koji, a somewhat lovable shark living in the city, he seemed to be the house to Nick Ruby. Nick Ruby had somewhat of a poor life, never being around his father and then inheriting his father's massive gang empire when he was knocked off. That however, did prevent Koji from holding back when throwing the somewhat adorable wolf in a jail cell.

Nick Ruby would somehow manage to capture Koji, and take him to one of the many gang bases left in Las Vegas, buried under the sand and chain him up. Then the wolf would taunt about how he managed to capture the shark and how this time he wouldn't be able to escape. This was promptly followed by Koji escaping by exploiting something that Ruby forgot or miscalculated.

It was somewhat a miserable experience after the fifty-second time it happened within a year and it was almost if God had decided to put him in a weekly comedy show about beating up the wolf. Koji didn't want to kill the wolf but his ability to slip through prison walls and escape like butter was more than annoying, it was becoming a hazard.

Koji was scanning his prison, chained up about four feet above the ground, each of his appendages pulled out and chained to the room. A massive pair of gauntlets around each of his fists so that Koji couldn't fire any energy waves. He had to hand it to Ruby; the sick fuck would have gotten away with it except for one detail even he couldn't control.

Thunder shook the bunker, even underground the large blasts of plasma against the ground could still be felt. Rain above the two of them, was pouring down on the casinos driving and herding more people into them like cattle. He could hear the faint strike of lighting every so often and he could feel the storm getting closer. It was one of the few times that it would rain in the city, and had Ruby picked another day, he might have gotten away.

Koji could feel the humidity and the electric ions building up around his body, all he had to do is wait out Ruby and he'd easily escape the bunker. He smiled as he felt the electricity building up around his body. He took a breath and the electric charges were absorbed into his body.

"Now then, finally I have trapped here and all my previous shortcomings have been covered up, admit it I have gotten you pretty good and there is nothing you can really do about that now." Ruby said as he walked around the main pillar of the bunker, not noticing the electric charge that had been absorbed by Koji. There was nothing in the bunker that could produce any energy; the lights were covered with a special filter that prevented them from ionizing the air.

"Ah come on speak. You must be capable of speaking, and even you must be impressed with what I did to get you here. Also you really need to check before you answer the door to pizza men, they didn't even dress for the part. I would think that dedication would change your mind about us, but you still seem so abrasive about it." Ruby said, Koji rolled his eyes as Ruby professed his love to Koji for about the thousandth time. Koji knew he could use that to his advantage but didn't want to use it as it was tainted love.

"Oh come on don't be so pashe. I know that every second I have you chained up here you want my lips on your lips, to feel my tongue enter your mouth, to feel my touch on your chest. I can sense it, so come on, on this world we're nothing but animals, so let carnal lust take over our bodies and do it right here." Ruby said as he went past Koji's comfort zone and placed his hand on the shark's chest.

"Oh, you pushed my touch button, you shouldn't have done that." Koji said finally exploding with emotion as he let electricity fly out of his body. It immediately arced off Koji's body and jumped onto Ruby's. The gang leader screamed as his body was fried with electricity. Koji's chains melted as the temperature of his hands increased and promptly melted off his wrist as Koji looked at the unconscious Ruby.

He wiped off his black coat and using his watch called the police on the watch.

He simply walked out of the bunker and into the pouring rain, he knew the police were coming and no one was stupid enough to save Ruby. The shark pressed a button on his black coat and turned off his perception filter which would replace his face in the eyes of others, and censor his name and or anything else that could reveal his identity.

He looked around and found himself on the outskirts of the city, the bright illuminating neon signs behind him. Most of the space between the streets was empty dirt waiting for development to reach the point.

Koji lived in one of the booming development complexes about five dozen blocks away and he didn't want to walk that far. Looking around there was an empty bus stop that was put in place with the development boom and as he got closer he saw the line stopped by his house.

He shook of his body as he crossed the empty street and cursed himself as he walked into a bus stop, the glass roof covering his body from rain. The shark was mad at himself for walking into a trap, almost knowing that Ruby would capture him. It was a sick kick for him, Ruby's flirting, chaining him up, almost always being able to escape. He could walk right back into the bunker and shoot Ruby right through the chest, but it wouldn't be fair in his book. He already had one chance to end Ruby's life, now he would have to deal with whatever happened because of it. He covered his head and groaned in disappointment as he heard the sound of police sirens coming to arrest the sick man and throw him into a bride well.

...

Meanwhile on the other side of Las Vegas, a different kind of investigative activity was happening, the less subtle kind. On a lone abandoned road, an elderly woman was carefully crossing the road as she did a single sports car pulled up to the intersection. As she finished crossing the road, she took a look at the drive in the sports car and she had quite the shock. A large dragon driving the car, with folded wings. The woman was shocked, as only draconic had existed in this world, draconic had no wings.

The sports car drove away at full speed, and the woman was sure that she had seen wings on the dragon. Quite quickly a large black van pulled up to the curb and rolled down its window. An orca stuck his head out of the window as he approached the elderly woman.

"Umm, excuse me but have you happened to see a draconic with wings driving a sports car coming past here?" The orca asked as the woman pointed her hand onto the direction and the van quickly sped away. The elderly woman made a sour face as the van drove away.

"Fucking Outsiders." The elder said as she walked away from the curb, hoping to get inside from the rain.

"Hey careful there Eric, you almost took my head off on the lamp post." The same orca said as he pulled his head into the van. His name was Jackson and he was the leader of the Las Vegas Division of the Outsiders, a government funded group for young adults with superpowers.

"I don't even know why we stopped, I have his DNA signature and I can track him, plus he is in a sports car. Also you might want to speed up, our dragon friend here has the ability to copy and paste his code onto anyone else's, but otherwise nice droving Eric." Their computer manager, and by that meaning she was the one with a free lap, Molly said to the other occupants of the car. She was a bright toucan in both senses of the word.

"Thanks, what's the dragon's name when we get there... so you know I can taunt him and such." Eric, a wolf and their agent said as he avoided a parked car and continued to chase the sports car down the road.

"It's a DNA scanner, not an identity theft machine; oh no wait there is a tab for that. His name is Bright, strange, but anyway would you like to know his school, his mother's maiden name or the last four digits of his social security number?" Molly asked surprising the other two in the car.

"No, but where the hell is Koji, we did tell him to meet up with us right?" Jackson asked Molly, wondering where the shark agent went. Suddenly the van swerved to the left and pulled over. "Eric, use the breaks!" Jackson yelled as the car came to a stop.

"Oh don't pretend you don't my reckless driving, also one sports car and a broken door, so I do believe that we are certainly here." Eric said as he turned off the van off and opened the door. He walked outside and closed the door. The rain didn't seem to be letting up and thunder was striking down in the distance.

"Don't feel bad Eric, I thought that was an excellent maneuver, Jackson is just a shit head." Molly said as she opened the side door and left the van herself. Jackson exited and face palmed himself.

"It's okay, Jackson doesn't like any fun, or at least he won't admit it. I guess that's why they say opposites attract. But come on Molly, we got an asshole to deal with." Eric said as he reaches down to his holster and grabbed his pistol. He pulled the slide and got ready. Eric was the only formally trained member, Molly and Jackson both got their training through powers, Eric was only chosen because of his connections.

Molly was a basic level telepath and could do with all that enabled. She could create energy spheres where emotions were blown up and personalities underwent flanderization. She could barely feel emotions but she could float tiny half pound objects.

Jackson, the leader of the outsiders, he could increase his reaction time and to himself slow down time. He was good with figuring out where objects would travel and could react accordingly. This would be all demonstrated when they entered the building.

Eric entered first, carefully aiming his weapon forward as he passed through the doorframe. He scanned the area carefully; making sure the dragon was in the house. That was pretty much confirmed when he heard the sound of a woman screaming further in the house. He waved his hand behind him, giving his friends the signal to come in.

All three entered the house and as they turned the corner, they found the situation. Bright was holding a gun against a woman's head; she clearly had nothing to do with Bright and was obviously a hostage. Eric pointed his gun forward towards Bright's head.

Molly ran into the room and began to attend another woman that was knocked against the ground and bleeding. Bright, Eric and Jackson all knew what was at stake and who had a gun pointed at each other.

"Well then Outsiders are you willing to lose a life to prevent the transformation of millions, but then again can you pull the trigger quicker than me?" Bright asked, carefully forming each word and enunciating each syllable knowing how they would influence the other two. However, it would be Jackson that had the upper hand.

Once the confrontation reached a certain point, he had slowed time down to a point that he could see everything happening and react accordingly. He waited for Eric to react and pull the trigger, he needed to make sure the battle went off without a hitch and he would need to correct Eric's mistakes.

Then Eric acted, he quickly pulled back his trigger finger and a chain of motions was set in place. The bullet flew out of the gun with flames from the muzzle flash quickly disappearing as the bullet travelled forward in slow motion.

Jackson knew what he had to do; he scanned the area and found Molly looking at him and Eric with a worried face that he knew Eric must have missed. He took a look at Bright and saw his trigger finger slightly twitching, he knew that the Dragon would be able to react perhaps quicker than a normal mortal and Jackson knew that he had to act.

He aimed his gun forward and lined it up with Eric's bullet's future path. Using his eyesight and his head he made a very educated guess and fired his bullet. He stopped his powers and as time returned to normal the situation played out.

Eric's and Jackson's bullets collided in the center of the room, their metal fusing and splitting in two different directions. The first flew through Bright's head and his brain, knocking him out.

At the same time the second bullet travelled at his gun and as it approached it traveled right into the muzzle. Bright's hand gave out just after he pulled the trigger and the gun flew out of his hand.

Everything stopped as Bright flew over with a hole in his head and a bullet flew out of his gun right behind the woman's head. She screamed and ran over to the other woman and began blurting gibberish as Molly, Jackson and Eric took a look at Bright's body.

"Well then Bright, looks like you're not getting away, changing the entire population of Las Vegas into dragons and blowing up a nuclear station, at least that's what I would do, but I don't know he looks more like he would be a shark." Eric said as he grabbed the dead body and slung it over his shoulder.

"Why would a shark be able to turn a person into dragons that sounds stupid almost as stupid as going to Mexico City to get shark DNA and turning your enemy into a cyborg because he has self-worth issues, but that's just me." Molly said as she walked out of the door followed by Jackson.

"I don't, why would that even, I give up. Well then how about a celebration dinner, maybe at this diner I know, I hear they make good burgers." Jackson said to Eric as he placed Bright's body in a body bag, in the van.

"Well, I can feel your intentions, so just drop me off and enjoy." Molly said as she got back into the back seat of the van and continued looking on the computer. Eric this time got intake the passenger seat and let Jackson drive off into the rainy moonrise in the distance.

...

Koji arrived home and by the way he felt, could tell that it would be an early night. With a Huge Slurp Soda in his hand and his recliner all the way out, he was ready to pass out on the sofa again. As he watched the television periodically taking a slip of his drink and slowly losing attention in his show.

Around ten o'clock he was almost asleep, the television and the lamp were interruptions and Koji was ready to fall asleep. As he got ready to fall asleep, there was suddenly a bright orange flash to his left. The shark woke up to a jolt and suddenly another shark had appeared within his house.

"Hello again, Koji. Why are you running at me?" The shark said as Koji jumped off the couch and tackled the mysterious shark, learning never to trust strange people that suddenly appear. Both of the sharks fell to the floor as Koji trapped the shark on the floor keeping both of his hands separated. He looked at the shark trying to figure out why the strange shark did look familiar.

"Yeah, I wasn't expecting a good reception but surely you must remember me, Twilight?" Twilight said as he tried to remind Koji who he was. The shark interest looked like it was peaked, but Koji couldn't seem to put the dots together. "Sorry about this." Twilight thrusted his body forward and slammed his head into Koji's.

Koji screamed with pain as his body was filled with memories from the moment, all flooding back into head and reminding him of Twilight and what he did to Koji. Koji got off of Twilight and stood up, letting the other shark stand up.

"Sorry about that, I didn't mean to barge in here but I don't have many other opti...", At that point Koji, pulled his fist back and punched Twilight right in the face

Knocking him back on the floor. "I deserved that, I abandoned you in a freezer, but think about how worse your life would be if I didn't."

"Whatever, go to hell." Koji said obviously peeved about what had happened years ago and what that led to. He had his shoulder folded and was giving Twilight a mean face and tried to ignore what he was saying.

"Well I was kind of in hell for the last seven years, and now that I've escaped I give it twenty seconds until Afternoon takes advantage of this and uses it as a reason to start Earth occupation." Twilight said to Koji as he walked over to the front door and peaked outside.

"Does that matter to us?" Koji asked as he leaned over to see what Twilight was looking at. Suddenly there was a loud roar outside of the house, Koji looked out and saw a large green beast standing and marching towards the house. He was shocked and in awe as he saw the large beast. "What, who!"

"Well, if I'm right, I am pretty sure that might just be one of your friends. So come on you escaped from the freezer, let's see your powers in action." Twilight said as he opened the door, a large roar was blasted out pit flying into the house and blowing Twilight's clothes back. "Well shit, come on Koji."

...

"So Twilight you're trying to escape again, save the human race. Just one more lost cause, I thought you might have learned but as it seems, you never do." Afternoon said, he was a Kagen God, a long lost race trapped in a parallel dimension looking down on Earth. "The walls between the worlds are weak; my powers can work in the human world for now."

And thus as Twilight made his journey to Earth, Afternoon looked down into a small diner in Las Vegas. He saw two characters, an Orca and a Wolf, both eating and conversing over a meal. Perhaps due to the fact that he was a wolf, Afternoon took pity on the one of his own race and decided to make him his own bringer of doom. Afternoon raised his hand, glowing with green energy and prepared to complete the deed.

"Now this is a quality burger, this is how you should always make a burger." Jackson said speaking to Eric as they sat down in the lonely diner, no one but them, the waitress in the back leaving the two alone. Eric quite bored with Jackson's circular conversation was engaging in his own circle by spinning around.

"Come on, we're better than this. I mean did you see that shot we made, that was our shot. A one-two take down, then again you could have just fired at his gun, you like doing trick shots don't you? And you never told me." Eric said as he assembled the puzzle pieces before him and made a conclusion. Jackson stopped chewing on his burger and gulped the rest of it down.

"No, my shot wouldn't have reached him in time, but I slowed down your bullet. I could have done it different ways though I guess. So yes I guess you can say I like trick shots." Jackson said as he looked into Eric's eyes, before ducking in and giving him a kiss on the check.

"Ah, well then maybe we could go out to the range. Eric and Jackson, the magnificent trick shot team." Eric said with stars in his eyes as he imagined the two at the range. Suddenly he felt a wave of nausea on his body, burger felt out of his mouth as he stood up off his seat, Jackson coming and helping his lover.

Eric pushed Jackson away as his body rumbled with energy.

Eric felt his muscles bulging and groaning as they demanded more oxygen from the blood. The first change started as his muscles excreted adrenaline into his blood, the adrenaline rushed to his head and increased his heart rate, sending floods of blood towards all his muscles. Eric groaned in pain and discomfort as his skin and fur became blushed, sweat rushing out trying to cool himself.

His fur started to gray and mat on his skin before suddenly falling out in clumps around the dinner floor. Before his plain skin could be shown, green scales started to form and plate over his skin as his body started to increase in size and grow. Beneath his scales, his biceps, triceps, every muscle in his arm started to grow reaching a gargantuan size before it spread to his chest.

Eric screamed out in pure pain, Jackson watching, burning that he couldn't help him. In his chest there was the sound of bones breaking and resealing as his ribcage and spine elongated. His heart and other vital organs grew to fit their new home, and suddenly his newly grown bones started to go into overdrive producing more blood for his larger body.

Eric's shirt, jacket and pants ripped, scales forming over his crotch to protect his most valuable parts and his decency. His legs grew out, new bones forming and getting attached to bones in order to deal with the large weight they would have to hold. Eric's height increased to at least nine foot. Next, his shoes ripped and at that point large and sharp nails grew out of his feet and hands.

Jackson took one last look at his boyfriend's face before his humanity left. Suddenly Eric's muzzle grew larger and his teeth flatter and sharper. His eyes changed types as his pupils changed to silt. His nose became a part of his scales and only two silts remained. His hair fell out and left him bald. Finally the changes hit his brain as his instincts and loyalties changed.

The massive were-crocodile roared out and ran out of the dinner leaving a large hole in the door frame. Jackson half destroyed knew he had to follow and turned on his jacket's perception filter as he ran out the door and after his boyfriend who was running towards Las Vegas.

...

"Eric?" Koji said as he poked his head out of his door, before walking outside and turning on his perception filter. He saw Jackson running down the street towards them trying to catch up to the crocodile. He could see some of Eric in the crocodile and with the wolf not running with the orca, he could put the pieces together quickly.

Suddenly Twilight was knocked into the ground by a strong punch, the were-crocodile showing of his muscles and newfound power.

"Were-Croc, smart one Afternoon." Twilight whispered to himself as he stood up and presented himself to the were-crocodile. "So then, I've been here for five minutes might as well show off my powers." Twilight spread his arms out and bowed before bringing himself back up and raising his arms up into the air. The manhole covers along the street rumbling as Twilight's hands glowed blue with water like energy.

The were-crocodile laughed at this, giving Jackson relief as it seemed that Eric didn't fully give in to the beast inside. However, that meant Eric had given into the evil or was being controlled. Jackson took a breath and walked behind Twilight as the shaking of manhole cover increased rapidly. Twilight didn't seem to be strained as his powers activated, he appeared to be perfectly comfortable.

The first manhole cover shot up as a torrent of water blasted up and knocked the manhole cover out of place. Second, third and fourth manhole covers blasted up alone with water blasts as they reached the peak of their height, the water was redirected downwards and each towards the were-crocodile. Twilight dragged his hands together, slightly struggling to do so as if his arms were connected to the water streams.

Each of the water streams hit the ground short of the were-crocodile and keep him in place, as the water swelled around the beast and slowly enveloped him as it rose up to nine feet tall. Twilight brought his fingers together, touching them together. Suddenly all the ice from the sewer started to freeze, quickly approaching the large beast. The were-crocodile trying to run out as the freeze hit the beast and froze him in the water, only his arm exiting the ice.

"Stand right their shark, I'm trapping you both." Jackson said as he pulled out a silver cube from his pocket. Before Twilight or the frozen were-crocodile could react, the cube was thrown above them and expanded out forming a large square plate above them and firing sixteen lasers into the ground, trapping the two inside.

"Who's the shark, does he have anything to do with Eric here. I don't think he's bad, but still we need everyone here." Jackson said as he conversed with Koji pulling him away from the cage and Twilight.

"Twi. Twilight is his name." Koji said before the sound of ice breaking turned their attention. The laser beams radiating heat started to melt the were-crocodile's ice. Koji and Jackson ran over the cage as Eric escaped and roared loudly. The large beast ran over to Twilight and grabbed him on his waist hoisting him up into the air.

"Hey there, let go!" Koji yelled as he tried to get Eric's attention, but failed to do so as the Were-crocodile walked towards the edge of the cage. Twilight struggled and tried to escape his bonds as his evacuation approached. He screamed as Eric thrusted him forward, pushing his body right against the laser beams.

The were-crocodile seemingly got what he wanted and threw Twilight off to the side, bouncing him off another set of laser beams and into the ground. Twilight groaned as his body started to emit a yellow glowing fire-like energy. He stood up and looked at his hands.

"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine, just getting aw...ayyy!" Twilight's words turned into screams as he raised his arms up and his entire body was engulfed in the energy. It blasted away from his arms and head, pushing back the were-crocodile. Twilight's entire body was engulfed in energy and Koji was pushed back against the ground as he viewed the explosion of energy.
