"Okay Kitt, the fleet will hold one light-year outside the early warning systems, once they're blind it'll take us roughly four minutes to close the distance and jump to normal space. You'll just have to hold out." Tarn explained to Kitt and Alec as they sat on the bridge of the Whiterunner.

"Confirmed, we'll be out of communications as soon as we jump so make your run on the scheduled time and this'll work. See you in two hours. Kitt out." The communication channel closed and Kitt looked about his mate and the other crew members. "Well it's been nice working with all of you, I couldn't have asked for a better crew. Now let's get the job done."

The Whiterunner's engines fired as it shifted to the outer ridge of the asteroid belt. "Sam bring the ID drive online, Drek charge the hull plating." Kitt commanded. As the sleek ship cleared the cluster of floating rocks the light metallic blue hull begins to glow as a faint electrical field crackled around it.

"Hull plating charged and stable." Drek reported.

"Sam, set co-ordinates for the Lion home world and engage." Kitt again ordered.

The Whiterunner bucks and shook as its skin glows brighter and brighter, then a white disc of light appears in front of the ship. The disc whipped over the Whiterunner and it disappeared.

With a bright screeching flash in space the Whiterunner was tossed out in low orbit around the light tan and blue ball of the Lion home world. "Systems check!" Alec belted out.

"All systems report green Alec I don't think they detected us either." Shar reported quickly.

"Sweet, proceed with landing protocol." Kitt ordered standing up.

Kitt and Alec flew barely a foot off the ground along the heavy dry savannah grass lands toward the towering capitol city with the pyramidal shaped capitol building standing over the entire place.

Setting down on the small hill with a set of large trees, Alec pulled out a set of binoculars surveying the main highway into the city. "Pretty heavily guarded down there, we still need to take it out to cut off reinforcements."

Kitt nodded looking at the same thing through his own binoculars. "Yeah, we'll need a distraction."

"Think you could collapse that central support pillar?" Alec asked.

Kitt smiled and in the blink of an eye he disappeared, phasing in and out of sight due to his speed closes the half kilometer distance under the raised super road way. Kitt scaled silently up the embankment, seeing the heavy tanks and a multitude of foot soldiers. The dark furred wolf slipped between the chassis of the tanks up behind of an unaware soldier and grabbed him by the throat, tossing him helplessly into the side of the tank. Kitt then knelt, placing a paw to the asphalt and growled, generating a heavy seismic shockwave shaking then quickly cracking and crumbling the concrete; within a second the bridge collapsed and falls in on itself taking with it the tanks and troops buried in the heavy debris.

Quickly Kitt and Alec soar up the side of a skyscraper to the roof watching the emergency units converge on the roadway. "That'll keep them occupied for a little while." Kitt said.

Darting along the close knitted roof tops Kitt and Alec came as far as they could get to the sloping side of the three hundred stories tall capitol building.

"So how are we going to play this? We've got twenty minutes." Alec anxiously asked.

Kitt smirked a bit. "What about walking right through the main gates?"

Alec looked at Kitt and nodded. "Guess it's my turn..."

The heavily fortified gate, a twenty five foot tall dark armored steel wall with rows of tanks and foot soldiers along the main road way, from down the street they spotted a lupine figure walking straight up towards them, the lowering sun at his back and his thigh length black coat fluttering in the breeze.

"Unidentified person, stop where you are!" one of the tank commanders yelled out through the PA system.

Alec just continued walking as the tanks and soldier's gun all pointing at him. "This is your last warning!"

In unison they all began firing, covering Alec in a fury of high explosive rounds, a billow of fire and smoke. The soldiers cease fire and wait a moment as the smoke cleared seeing the white wolf still walking, unscathed towards them.

Alec strode right up into the middle of the group as rifle bullets pinged off an energy sphere around him. Alec raised his paws out to his sides and growled, launching two thick energy streams into the sides of two tanks flipping them on their sides and blowing them to bits. His senses abruptly go off causing him to leap into the air as a red energy sphere explodes right where he was standing. He growled as two jackal super soldiers rushed at him, Alec dodged the incoming fire from the regular troops while deflecting the blows from the jackals. Alec caught the paw of one of the jackals and used him as a bat to crush the other through the side of a building.

Kitt silently stalked down a corridor in the capitol building, turning a corner only to be met by five heavily armed hyenas and in the center the Omega Tiger super solider. Kitt grinned "Hey guys!" and without skipping a beat the trench coat clad wolf lunged at the group, their bullets whizzing by as Kitt drew in slow motion his two silver vicious looking pistols, capping two of the soldiers in the face; then flinging the guns into the faces of the other two leaping into the air kicking the tiger straight along the muzzle, catching the pistols as they bounced off the soldiers faces.

Kitt landed over the tiger smirking down on him. "Little faster than you expected huh? Where's Caster?"

"Go to hell." the tiger grunted through his broken muzzle.

Kitt pointed his pistols at the tiger. "Last chance."

"Fuck you..."

"No thanks...you're not my type." Kitt shifted down, hitting the tiger with his elbow, knocking him unconscious. "Alec..." Kitt said telepathically to his mate. "How're you doing?"

Alec rocketed up the side of a building as ki balls explode around him." Jut fine sweetheart, I'll be with you in a minute."

"Better hurry, we've got twenty minutes until the fleet makes its move."

"Don't worry, just tell Shar to start their run." Alec panted out.

The steel doors glide open into the defense system control center, the room near thirty meters in diameter covered in computer panels and holographic displays. Kitt walked in cautiously, seeing absolutely no one there. "Caster! You can come out now, let's stop playing games." Kitt called out, the silvery white furred fox steps into the room from an adjacent door.

"Here we are again Kitt." Caster said in his usual smug tone.

"Yeap...question for you; if you know were so close to ascending why would you limit yourself but having that monstrosity put into you?" Kitt asked as the pair pace around the room.

"A short cut basically, you unlike you I never had the opportunity to attain that one pure emotion to trigger my ascension."

"Figures, I've read your file, just a spoiled little rich kid, given an opportunity but you were too high on yourself to really deal with it."

"Silence!" Caster barked out.

"Why? Ringing all too true, your family was one of the richest in the universe. You probably never had to do a days work in your life, no wonder you couldn't ascend." Kitt pushed. "Just one more thing. You won't be living past today."

Caster snarled and whipped out two handguns beginning to exchange fire with Kitt as they ducked up and down along the computer stations.

"Kitt, I'm at the control dish, I need you to shut down the barrier around this thing!" Alec said into Kitt's mind.

"Hang on, little busy!" Kitt barked back as he snapped off several more shots at the fox.

"Five minutes to go!" Alec yelled.

Kitt growled and hurled himself at Caster, throwing his guns to the side and tackling the fox through the bay window then raising his paw to the control room as he plummeted away and fires a concentrated energy blast inside, a huge explosion rocks the side of the building followed by a plume of fire and smoke.

Kitt turned to Caster as he lifted his gun, but it was too late to react, the bullet had already left the chamber and struck Kitt in the ribs. Both Kitt and Caster slam into the side of the sloped outer wall of the capitol building, crashing hard into a ledge about half way down the twelve hundred story structure.

Alec stood before the twenty meter tall dish which controls the defense satellites when he saw the explosion Kitt caused then his mate skidding down the building. "Kitt!!!" he cried out as the pair hammer motionlessly into the ledge. Alec wanted to just tear up to Kitt but holds back his anger and went to work at the controls of the dish, feeling that the fleets have already engaged in orbit.

Kitt lies lifeless on the steel for a moment then turned over, holding his side where the bullet from Caster's gun ripped into his body; seeing his vulpine adversary lying a few feet away. Kitt quickly got to his feet going to kick Caster off the side only to have his legs tripped out from under him; Kitt braced against the steel. "Still kicking I see." Kitt snarled

"Didn't think a fall like that would be enough to knock me out" Caster replied. "Although you don't look up to this anymore." he gestured to the growing blood stain on Kitt's trench coat.

Kitt winced a bit. "Don't worry about me I'll live long enough to kick the shit out of you." Kitt said sharply before launching himself at the fox.

Alec worked frantically at the console to the array. "Whiterunner, are you in position?"

"Confirmed Alec, holding steady outside of the defense net control station" Shar responded.

"Alright, take it down and get the hell back here Kitt's in trouble." Alec exclaimed as he deactivates the deflector shields, instantly sending the Whiterunner into action firing a heavy deluge of missiles and particle beams down on a range of microwave dishes and command buildings, blasting them to dust.

"Sir, planetary defense grid just dropped offline, the satellites are offline!" One of the bridge officers aboard the Hun-Son shouted out.

Tarn smiled and yelled out "Yeah Kitt! All ships, the defense net is down, let's give'em hell."

Kitt and Caster dance carefully in combat along the narrow ledge, Kitt stepped up along the sloped wall flipping over the fox and delivers a hard elbow strike to the back of his head, stumbling Caster nearly over the edge.

"Not as easy this time is it?" Kitt lightly panted.

"I'm just playing still..." Caster responded.

"I doubt it. You know it's got to eat you up inside, when you found out that you could have ascended and you fucked it up by having that shit put in your body." Kitt pushed.

"I don't know what you're talking about..."

"You do...I know how that system works, as soon as you got enhanced it capped your ki levels, you'll never get stronger, where here I am already surpassing you." Kitt laughed. "You're pathetic!"

Caster growled fiercely balling up his fists. "Shut up! I am the most powerful warrior in the universe!!"

Kitt grinned and raised a single paw to the pissed off fox. "Then come get some."

The white fox lunged at Kitt, attacking him viciously.

Alec stepped aboard the bridge of the Whiterunner. "Alec, the defense net is down and our fleet is gaining the upper paw." Shar reported.

"I know...good job guys. Where's Kitt?" Alec said quickly

The forward viewer shifted, showing Kitt and Caster as they whipped up to the rooftop of the capitol building, then Kitt being getting batted across it. Kitt flipped to his feet as Caster rushed up both locked together in a graceful almost dance like battle, neither over taking the other.

"What is Kitt doing? Why hasn't he put that fucker on his knees yet?" Drek exclaimed.

"I don't know..." Alec solemnly said knowing something is wrong.

Kitt snagged Caster's wrist, twisting it behind his back then slamming his open palm into his spine, sending Caster skipping across the steel plated roof top. "What's wrong Cas...loosing your composure?"

Caster stood, his neck fur standing on end with snarling panting breaths.

"And I haven't even ascended yet!" Kitt said thrusting his body out of the path of Caster's fists.

Caster spun around back fisting Kitt across the muzzle, knocking him back a few feet and giving him enough time to latch his paw right on over Kitt's bullet wound causing Kitt to howl out in pain. "How do you like that bitch!"

Kitt yelped as felt the paw tighten, trying to knock it away.

"Aww, are we now loosing our composure." Caster evilly laughed, batting away Kitt's attempts to release the grip on him.

Caster swung his arm back, sending a crushing uppercut to Kitt's jaw, the pure power of the strike sending out a concussion wave that dented the steel below them and launched the black furred wolf near all the way across the half kilometer expanse of the roof.

Kitt shakily got to his feet. "Is that the best you got?!" he bellowed out.

Caster huffed and panted, a faint purple glow surrounding his body.

"He's trying to get him to ascend!" Alec exclaimed on the bridge of the Whiterunner.

"What? Why?!" Shar asked back nervously.

"Kitt knows he can't beat Caster if he was in control, if he ascends it'll over load the Supersolider system and Caster won't be able to focus." Alec answered equally nervous. "I hope..."

Kitt came down at Caster with his knee, planting it across his muzzle, collapsing the white fox to the roof then belted him in the ribs, tossing him over on his back. "So I gotta wonder Caster...why would the Dominion choose you as their number one? I mean fuck you're getting beat down like a second rate whore." Kitt chuckled. Caster gritted his teeth and vaulted to his feet right at Kitt, throwing his fists out, desperately trying to hit the mocking wolf.

"Ha! You punch like one too. How could your parents have survived knowing their son was such a little bitch, oh wait they didn't have to, they sent you packing when you were seven-teen."

Caster's eyes light up with blinding furry, the faint glow turning into a full gale blaze, his muscles twitching and bulging with the surging power.

"That's right. Fuck, I'm a cock sucking fag and my family still welcomed me back!" Kitt howled out vocally and telepathically right into the fox's mind.

Caster's energy boiled over and he threw massive golden stream of energy at Kitt, whom barely got his paws up in time to block it and is thrust right to the edge of the rooftop.

The blast ended, Caster heaving body glistening in sweat, his purple aura, shifting back and forth to gold.

"Shit, Kitt's energy is down, he needs time to build up and ascend. Sam get us up there!" Alec shouted out.

Kitt dropped down to one knee, the blast was more powerful than he'd expected, his bullet would dripping heavily upon the steel.

Caster slowly stalked up towards the exhausted wolf, his energy bowing and warping the metal of the roof top. "I think you underestimated me Kitt and now you're pathetic Alliance will be destroyed."

A deafening rumble shook the capitol building as Caster raised his paw to Kitt. Caster look up seeing the bulk the of the Whiterunner rise up.

Caster grinned and moved his paw to the ship, but too late. The Whiterunner's guns charged up and unleashed a devastating volley down upon the fox, carving out massive holes in the roof, completely enveloping Caster in fire.

"Kitt! C'mon sweetheart. Do it!" Alec telepathically said to Kitt as he tensed his paws, shaking his trench coat off as his power spiked, his tank top wearing form hardening, muscles tensing. Kitt's hair shifting into fiery red with golden fur.

Kitt thrust himself to his feet, his golden aura flaring outwards. "Get out of here now!" Kitt telepathically told Alec. The Whiterunner ceased fire and blasted off to join the fleet battle in orbit.

The cloud of smoke and fire explodes with Caster at the center, unscathed with a golden aura of his own and shimmering yellow hair.

"Let's get it on." Kitt growled and flashed right up to the fox igniting a sphere of energy right on his chest, flinging him off the side of the building.

Caster grunted and stopped his flight, trapping the golden ball in his paws, whipping it back at Kitt, who quickly leapt over it as it detonated, taking a chunk of the roof with it. Kitt cleared the distance between himself and the fox in the blink of an eye, siding kicking Caster in the ribs following up with a spin kick that put the ascended fox deep into the side of the capitol building.

The sides of the capitol building flashed over and over again as explosions rocked the city. The side of the building bulged and rippled as it was blasted away and Kitt is flung out.

Still relatively unmarked Kitt remained in his fighting stance as Caster jets out through what's left of the roof top, his body trembling from the power.

"Why can't I beat you!?" Caster belted out.

"You could have before Caster, but you let yourself become angry and because of it, you've overloaded the super solider system. You've lost, give up!" Kitt responded confidently floating down across from the fox.

Caster grinned and changed back to his normal form letting his stance down. "I don't think so you see I don't leave things to chance. It's amazing what you can find out in other dimensions."

Kitt snarled. "Like what?"

"We knew you'd by-pass the Lupine home world. So we left a little surprise. A bio-genetic plague we discovered, it was released the moment your fleet entered orbit. Oh and that bullet in your side contained the same thing only slightly less potent, you get to live long enough to watch your entire home die, then you die. Look's like we're playing my favorite game, it's called I win!" Caster smugly explained.

Kitt stepped back knowing his not lying. "You piece of shit!"

"Yeah maybe I am. Now, you will escort me off world and watch me get away."

Kitt growled and powered down, beaten. "I will have your head for this."

Caster grinned and walked right passed Kitt. "You and your home world have four years to survive. Have fun..."

Kitt stood next to Alec and Tarn as they stare at the remnants of the Dominion fleet disappear into a portal.

"The doctors report everything Caster said. It's some sort of disease we've never seen and it'll take about four years to basically break down every cell in the infected body. The Lupine home world has been quarantined." Alec explained.

"What are we going to do?" Tarn quietly said.

"The only thing we can do, track down Caster and beat the cure out of him." Kitt growled.

"How? We don't know where he went."

"Some one has got to have heard about this plague and who made it, it's our home's only chance..."
