I am getting sick of having to re upload some of my new stories because it isn't showing up....

Jayce let out a deep sigh as he stretched out a bit in the bed of furs with Isabelle laying next to him asleep on her side. The fox shifted some and took a deep breathe but remained asleep while he got up and walked out of the hut into the early morning sun. He groaned and rubbed his eyes some, letting out a large yawn before shaking his head again. From a hut only a few feet away from his emerged Jasmine, his daughter. When she saw him she perked up and ran to him, hugging him tightly and wagging her tail while murring happily. By now Jasmine was about 18 years old and looked much like her mother, the markings she had been born with long since faded into a faint off set color on her fur. Jayce stood his ears up and hugged her in return, smiling and gently petting her head while looking down at her since she had been short like her mother. "Good morning baby girl." Jasmine smiled as she looked up at him, her ears twitching while he ran his fingers through her hair slowly before kissing her forehead. "Morning daddy." Jasmine was very close with Jayce and almost always by his side. Daniel emerged from the hut a few minutes later with a large dagger in his hand, yawning and shaking his head. He was tall like his father but very laid back and happy. Daniel walked over to them and smiled to his father.

"Ready to go hunt dad?" Daniel looked to Jayce who smiled and nodded some. "Go on with the others. I will join you all soon." Daniel nodded, ruffling his sisters hair before he headed off with three or four of the other males in the hunting group. Jasmine pouted a bit as she looked up to Jayce. "Daddy...you promised we would go to the lake!" Jayce sighed and gently bumped his nose to his daughters, making her murr even though she was pouting. "Relax Jasmine. We will still go when I come back. Go relax with your mother for a while." Jasmine sighed and hugged him softly before letting him go and watching him leave the village with Daniel and the others before she turned and walked into his hut, laying down beside her mother as Isabelle woke up.

"Someone looks a bit grumpy." Isabelle smiled as she looked at Jasmine who smiled back after a moment and nodded some. "Daddy promised we would go to the lake...but he and Daniel went hunting with the others." Jasmine sighed and stretched out a bit while Isabelle reached over and gently pet her head, shushing her gently. "Relax Jassy...he will keep his promise unless something comes up that prevents him from doing so." Jasmine murred and nodded a bit then relaxed with her mother for a while before they got up and headed out of the hut to join the village with the daily chores and jobs they usually did. About mid day Jayce and Daniel returned with the others dragging one or two large stags, some rabbits and ground birds they had trapped. By then Jasmine had gone off to the lake on her own after getting fed up with waiting on Jayce to return.

Jayce decided to leave her be after Isabelle told him where she was. He knew he wouldn't have time to join her even though he wanted to since he had to help break down the kills. He would have to make it up to Jasmine another time. While all that was going on Jasmine was laid out in the soft grass along the shore of the lake, enjoying the small gentle breeze that blew through her fur. She stretched out some with a soft groan coming from her, not noticing the rustling sounds coming from some near by bushes, a pair of bright golden yellow eyes watching her as she sat up with her fingers running through her hair. The male watching her looked over the curves of Jasmines body as well as the coloring of her fur, taking in the fact it was jet black with the faded swirl patterns from when she had been born. The male shifted a bit and waited a moment longer before lunging from the bushes and catching Jasmine off guard, knocking her into the shallows of the lake.

Jasmine let out a cry of shock that was cut off when she hit the water. When she emerged she slapped and clawed at the male who had jumped her, getting a hand full of mane that belong to the male. When she opened her eyes and looked to see who had attacked her she felt her heart almost stop for a few seconds as she stared up at a large male lion with bright white fur with red markings on him. The lion pulled her hand from his mane and stared back at her, his golden eyes locking on her pink ones. Jasmine was breathing heavily as she stared at this male in silence for a moment or so before she finally spoke. "Who the fuck are you?! And what in the hell did you just attack me?!" The male stood up in the water, pulling her to stand as well. He let go of her hand and smiled some. "Sorry...I didn't mean to be that rough with the impact...you just looked soft and squishy so I thought I would....pounce." Jasmine blinked a few times and stared at him before folding her ears back and rolling her eyes as she moved out of the water, shaking it from her fur with a huff. "Not a good enough reason to jump someone like that. You coulda hurt me big time doing that."

The male chuckled as he watched her while crossing his arms. "Someone is a stick in the mud then! I thought you were someone who was playful from the looks of you. Guess not." Jasmine whipped around and looked at him with a growl coming from her. " I am not a stick in the mud you over grown cub!" The male grinned and looked at her with his head tilted to the side some, holding his arms out a bit now as he used his fingers to beckon her to him. "Oh? Then prove it little fox." Jasmine snarled and lunged at him, hitting him with more force then he expected from someone of her size. She knocked him back into the water, not realizing he had wrapped his arms around her until the two of the emerge to get a breathe of air. He twitched his ears with some of his mane hanging over his eyes while she panted some before smacking his arm a bit. "Jerk." He laughed and pushed some of his mane out of his eyes, looking at her with his head tilted to the side a bit. "Hey now this time your the one who tackled me...not the other way around fox." She folded her ears back and narrowed her eyes as she looked at him. "My name isn't 'fox.' It is Jasmine!" He grinned and tilted his head to the side a bit. "Well then Jasmine...I am Daryl..." Jasmine blushed ab it as she stared at him for a moment before pulling back and moving back to the shallows of the lake, mumbling under her breathe as she did.

Daryl twitched his ears and joined her in the shallows, laughing softly before shaking as much of the water from his fur and mane as he could before settling down and relaxing. Jasmine shook her own fur clean before sighing softly and glancing over to him. "What are you doing out here anyway? I didn't think felines were allowed this close to my village." Daryl shifted a bit and looked to her before shaking his head some. "We aren't...but I kinda went to far in search of prey and ended up here when I spotted you..." Jasmine blushed a bit and looked away from him as she stood up and moved onto shore, sitting in a patch of sunlight to get her fur dry. "You better get out of here then in case my dad shows up...he doesn't like felines that much." Daryl stood his ears up and watched her in silence before getting up and moving to sit in front of her, watching her in silence before he nodded some. " I know he doesn't. All feline cubs get told that story of what happened with your dad and mom with the feline tribe..." Jasmine lowered her ears a bit, twitching her tail around some while Daryl grinned a bit. When Jasmine looked back to him she let out a muffled gasp as he leaned in and pressed his lips to hers.

Jasmine was floored by the kiss. Daryl slowly pulled back and looked at her with a small purr coming from him. "What's the matter? Never been kissed by a feline before?" Jasmine gulped and shook her head before she managed to speak to him. "N..never been kissed before at all." Daryl stood his ears up and stared at her a bit stunned. "Surely a pretty little fox like you has had some attention from the males in your tribe?" Jasmine blushed even more and shook her head again. Daryl grinned and leaned in again. He kissed her once more, growling softly when Jasmine actually returned the kiss while he moved a bit closer to her, his tongue pushing into her mouth slowly and rubbing against her own for a moment. Daryl would have moved even further but the sound of Jayce calling for Jasmine made him stop. He growled a bit and pulled back from her while she looked at him with a bit of a floored look on her face. "I will have to come see you again foxy." Daryl licked her cheek gently before getting up and rushing off into the forest. A few minutes later Jayce appeared and looked at Jasmine with a smile. "Come on Jasmine...it is time to come home." Jasmine stood her ears up and looked to her father before giving a small nod and standing up. She moved to him, taking his hand into her own before moving to walk with him back to the village after glancing back behind them long enough to see Daryl reappear and wave to her before he left for the night.
