Prologue
Most people fear the afterlife and some don't even believe in one. I, for one, didn't really care at first but started to form my own opinion of the afterlife throughout my teenage years, which started only a few years ago. You see, I never got to finish my teenage years. I died when I was 17. My name is Crow...well to be honest I have many names in this place. The afterlife isn't exactly an afterlife. It's merely a continuation of the first world, Earth, in a different form, but you make of it what you wish because it is yours. Whatever you thought would happen after you died, whatever you clung to before death, well it happens. The afterlife is like an everlasting dream world and it is completely created by you. This is my world and I am going to tell you all about it. I now call the afterlife "Cicada," because it screams out to be seen. Cicada actually does interact with our first world but just on a different dimension. Since most believe in an afterlife where they are humans again, that's how they appear in their ethereal form on Earth, as for me? Well, I might have messed up just a tiny bit.
