#4 of Foresight and Luck series

As they rode to Ayden's house Zeke and Ayden began listening to a band that hapened to be another common favorite, Shinedown. This got them discussing their interests in music. They both liked the rock genre, leaning more towards the newer side, though they enjoyed keeping a variety in their music adding in techno and rap.

"So what about hobbies?" Ayden asked wanting to know more and more about his mate.

"Well football and basketball keep me pretty busy, but outside of that i try like to swim, try to write poetry, and take slow nights to just hang out," Zeke smiled over to Ayden during the last of his hobbies, making sure the road is clear first.

Ayden smiled back. "So what are your hobbies?"

"Um...well I like free running, trying to play guitar, and hanging out is something I enjoy as well," the two smiled, Zeke focusing on the road this time.

"What's free running?" Zeke raised an eyebrow, looking over at Ayden out of the corner of his eye.

"Oh, um...It's a little hard to explain. Um, it's like street gymnastics I guess only you do more than just flips and such," Ayden bit his bottom lip trying to think of a better way to explain it.

"Hm, sounds like something i'd have to see to understand," Zeke said noticing Ayden's troubles.

"Yeah, probably."

"So, what's your biggest pet-peev?" this would be the last real question asked because they were pulling into the town Ayden lived in.

"Well I guess it boils down to people beign hypocrits. I hate when people go against what they say, but it's just as bad when they try to force their beliefs on another. Well atleast in my eyes it is."

"I agree with you. So you'll have to tell me where to go," Zeke said as they pulled into town.

"Oh right, you've never been to my house. Up on this next block it'll be the third driveway on the right, the gravel one."

As they neared his house Ayden noticed something strange. His dad's silver pick-up was still in the driveway, but that was normal since it hadn't been started in a year. The strange thing was a white car in the spot of his dad's car. Jordan was there, and Ayden wasn't all too comfortable with it.

"Can I come in with you?" Zeke asked as he parked and turned off the car.

"Yeah, just be ready."

"Ready for what?" Zeke was slightly uncomfortable with that statement but held Ayden's hand as the two walked in to the old two story house.

As the two walked in Jordan jumped up from the couch and walked over to scold Ayden, "Why in the hell couldn't you answer my texts. I...," Jordan then saw Zeke walk through the door. Zeke smiled and waved but Jordan hugged him tight, catching Zeke by suprise.

"Um, hi. You must be Jordan," Zeke looked over at Ayden for some sort of support or help but only saw him giggling to himself.

Jordan let go of Zeke on to push him closer to Ayden. He then took a step back to examine the couple, "Just as I thought, you two are the cutest couple ever," Zeke smiled and wrapped an arm around Ayden's shoulders. Ayden blushed and smiled weakly wrapping his arm around Zeke's waist.

"So have you to kissed yet?" Jordan had so many questions, this one being the most innocent.

Ayden hesitated for a moment, not knowing if Zeke wanted him to tell Jordan if the had kissed or not. Ayden looked up at Zeke and Zeke smiled down at hime then gently kissed his lips. "Yes, we have." Zeke replied, causing Ayden to blush.

"Aww, that was cute. Have you two, you know..." Jordan asked his lesser innocent question with a sly grin.

"Jordan!" Ayden said in an irritated voice letting Jordan know the interrogation was over.

"Sorry, cats may be curious but they got nothing on this wolf," Jordan said smiling and holding his hands up. Zeke couldn't help but chuckle.

"I need to get some clothes real quick and...Jordan don't take this the wrong way, but why are you here?" Ayden was leading Zeke to his room but stopped to ask his question.

Jordan sat back down on the couch and resumed watching tv, "Because your dad said you would be here today and I didn't want to wait til Monday to ask some simple questions. So your dad said I could wait here til you came so I could talk to you. That and I like your house more than mine, it's quiter" that made sense considering Jordan Had three younger brothers and two younger sisters, the oldest of which was only in sixth grade.

"Okay then," Zeke was led to Ayden's fairly sized room. As they walked in the door was near the wall on the right, straight in front of them a dresser and a tv, in the back right corner a full sized bed, and in the back left corner a black couch that folded down into a bed. Ayden had hung old paintings a drawings all over his room. Zeke was particularly interested in a watercolor painting of a lighthouse on a beach during sunset.

"Wow, did you paint this?"

Ayden smiled, "Yeah a few years ago, actually I painted that in Jr. High"

Zeke walked over behind Ayden, who was searching through his dresser for clothes to wear, and hugged him from behind, "You're so talented"

Ayden blushed and stopped packing for a moment to turn and kiss Zeke's cheek, "Thank you"

Zeke walked around and looked at the rest of the artwork, "You didn't say you were into art"

Ayden picked up a bag to put his clothes in, "Well one you never asked, two i wasn't going to mention it because I still have to improve a lot before I go around and say i'm an artist."

Zeke carefully examined a pencil drawing of an anime character, studying the shading. "But you are definately an artist, better than everyone at school."

"Well we have a small school. If we went to a bigger town I would not be anywhere near the best artist. I take too long to get my art done, I don't have much diversity in the materials I use or the type of art I do, and it's too amateur." Ayden explained as he grabbed some deodorant spray and his fur comb. Then zipped his bag shut.

Zeke looked over the rest of the artwork, "I still think you are better than you give yourself credit for," Zeke then walked over to Ayden, "Done?"

Ayden looked around to make sure he got everything then nodded, "Yeah".

Zeke grabbed Ayden's hand, "Okay then, let's go."

"Don't forget to shut everthing off and close the door behind you when you leave," Ayden instructed Jordan as they left.

"Yeah yeah, have fun and what not," Jordan waved Ayden off as he continued to watch tv.

Zeke opened and closed Ayden's door before he got in. After fastening their seatbelts the two started heading back to Zeke's house driving a little faster than before, "Why are you in such a hurry?"

"I sort of promised some friends I'd play some video games online with them so I have to log on and tell them I can't today," Zeke explained.

"Because of me?" Zeke nodded, "You can play, i'll watch."

"No, you are my guest I should keep you entertained."

"It's fine, you already promised them. Besides i'll be happy just being with you," Zeke looked over at Ayden, the two smiling at each other, while the road was clear.

"You sure?" Ayden nodded, "Okay then just tell me if you want to do something else though."

"Okay," Ayden replied as they pulled into Zeke's driveway. Again insisting on being Chivalrous, Zeke opened and closed the car and front door for Ayden. "Thanks," Ayden said thankful for Zeke's consideration.

Zeke led Ayden to the living room where they had to enter through a six foot archway. Directly in front of the arch way the southernly facing wall was completely covered in glass windows and doors, the exception of three feet from the corners of the room, and giant black and white curtains draped from the top and winding down the sides. On the wall to the left was a 60 inch flat screen high definition tv. Amongst the stero system control, dvd player, and another gaming system Zeke turned on the X-box 360.

Five feet from the tv was a black leather couch that couch that could easily hold 10 people. "You can go ahead and take a seat, i'll be over in a minute," Zeke said as he grabbed a few things for his game.

Ayden sat in the near middle waiting for Zeke to join him. Zeke walked over and put a speaker on the coffee table in front the couch. Then he clipped a microphone on his shirt, "It's my modified headset," Zeke explained noticing Ayden's confusion, "Instead of a head phone I have the speaker to hear what they say and this microphone to talk back."

"Ah, okay," Ayden replied now understading what the equipment was for.

As Zeke started playing his paintball game with his friends he rest his feet on the coffee table. After a half hour Ayden had begun to rest his head on Zeke's shoulder as he play. This made Zeke wrap his arm around Ayden and pull him close at the first break he got.

After another half hour of Zeke playing and talking to his friends, kissing Ayden's forehead when he got the chance as well, Ayden found himself fighting against his eyelids. *No no no, stay awake stay awa...* It was no use, he had fallen asleep. He was so comfortable in Zeke's gentle but tight hold it was near impossible for him to stay awake.

"Ayden..Ayden.." Ayden could faintly hear someone saying his name and gently rubbing his shoulder, "Ayden, come on hun time to wake up."

"Mm? I'm awake," Ayden said though he had still not opened his eyes and not close to being fully awake.

Zeke chuckled softly and hugged Ayden, "Come on, I have something planned for us tonight."

Ayden stretched his legs out and opened his eyes slowly to see Zeke smiling down at him, "Oh?"

Zeke nodded, "Yeah so let's go get changed."

"Changed? What's wrong with what we're wearing?" Ayden asked as the two got up, Zeke supporting Ayden who is still sleepy.

"It's not proper for the occasion. Did you bring any dress clothes? Or something close?"

Ayden nodded as they went up to Zekes room to get changed, "Why do we need dress clothes?"

"You'll see," Zeke replied as he opened his door for Ayden.

Ayden was dressed in his favorite holed white jeans, the ones he happened to wear at the bad party, and black compression shorts underneath to cover up everything the holes left in plain sight. He wore an untucked white button up shirt with a four button black and dark grey pinstripe vest over top. His sleeves rolled up to his elbows.

Zeke dressed himself in dark blue jeans that faded into a lighter blue towards the center of his legs, front and back. He wore a black button up shirt only buttoned half way up showing a white tank top undershirt below. His cuffs rolled back over his wrists.

As they saw each other, Ayden and Zeke had the same response, "You look amazing!" They smiled at each other then leaned in for a passionate kiss. Ayden, now over the shyness that would've previously consumed him, probbed Zeke's mouth with his tounge. This caused Zeke to blush but he continued their passionate kiss, sucking on Ayden's tounge.

After holding their kiss for five minutes, then Zeke gently and reluctantly broke the kiss to check the time, "5:30, we better get going if we are going to make it on time,"

"Make it where on time?" Ayden asked as Zeke took his hand and led him downstairs.

"You'll see when we get there," Zeke said as he opened the front door for Ayden.

After making sure all the lights were off Zeke closed the front door then locked it before leading Ayden to his car. Arms hooked together as they walked. Zeke again opened and closed the door for Ayden before getting in himself.

The two drove off, listening to yet another common favorite band, Flyleaf. *What's going on? Where are we going and why won't he tell me?* Ayden had so many questions in his head but decided it best to just wait and find out what Zeke had planned.

After a twenty minute drive they pulled into the town that Ayden's mom lived in. They turned down a road onto a back road, then into a restaurant parking lot. It was a restaurant that Ayden had been to only once before. It was built near a cliff hang off that looked out to the river that ran through a good part of the town. Ayden finally started to understand what was going on, *A date?*

As they walked into the restaurant the host, a near 20 year old stag, simply nodded to Zeke and said, "Your table is already set, just as you requested."

"Thank you Joshua," Zeke led Ayden to the elevator letting Ayden in first. He then pressed the up button, the elevator doors closed and began climbing upwards.

"My family built this restaurant before we even moved here. It was one of the things that made them decide to move here," Zeke explained as he smiled to Ayden.

"Wow. I never knew."

"Yeah, our classmates that work here don't even know. I made sure none of them were scheduled to work here tonight, just in case you didn't want to make our relationship public yet."

"Aww," Ayden kissed Zeke's lips gently, "You are so sweet and considerate."

Zeke blushed and smiled, the blush causing Ayden to giggle softly. As they reached the balcony the doors opened revealing a large room with maroon carpet, complete windows around the room instead of walls, and one single table to seat the two of them. The room was lit purely by candles in the chandelier that hung above the table.

Zeke led Ayden to the table, their arms hooked together as they walked, "The windows are tinted for privacy and we have our own personal waitor that will only be coming up when we want. Zeke motioned to what looked like a pager.

The table had a red silk table cloth and a single red rose in the center of the table. The silverware and plates were already set.

"It's, it's, it's so romantic," Ayden said tearing up slightly, gently kissing Zeke's lips.

Zeke kissed back for a moment, then broke the kiss only moving his muzzle half an inch away from Aydens, "It's all for you hun," Zeke said as he wiped away Ayden's tears.

Zeke pulled Ayden's chair out for him, then gently pushed the chair in before he sat down. Zeke presse the pager button once and a minute later a waitor, a teenage husky that Ayden had seen once or twice before when he visited his mom. He carried a tray holding two plates of salad and two glasses of water. He gave one plate and one glass to each of them.

"Will that be all for now?" The husky asked, holding his hands behind his back

"Yes, thank you Brent. I'll think we will be having the main course next." The Husky nodded then went to the elevator and left.

"Do you know everyone's name?" Ayden asked after taking a drink of water.

"Yeah, I kinda have to. My parents made me manager when I was 16." Zeke explained, then took a bite of his salad.

The two ate their salads, smiling at each other the whole time. When they finished Zeke pushed the pager button once more. One minute later Brent came back up, this time his tray held two plates of chicken parmesean and a pitcher of water to refill their glasses. The husky quickly filled the glasses then set the pitcher on his tray along with the dirty saldad dishes.

"Will that be all for now?"

"Yes thank you, and desert will be next." Brent nodded and walked of with his hands crossed behind his back. The two smiled at each other as the elevator doors.

Ayden looked down at his plate, it was chicken parmesean. It looked like it was about to be judged at a cook off. the spaghetti noodles were perfectly golden-yellow and toped with marinara sauce that thinned towards the edges, the chicken on top of the sauce was breaded and dark brown darkened enough to bring out all the seasonings without burns, and on the center of the piece of chicken was melted parmesean.

"It looks delicious" Ayden said as his mouth watered slightly.

"Well this isn't on our menu, but if you like it my parents will consider it. But you have to give your honest oppinion," Zeke said as he smiled at Ayden.

Ayden nodded then cut off one of the edges of the chicken and scooped up some noodles with it. He blew the steam away before he took a bite, Zeke watching anxious of Ayden's reaction. "Mm, it tastes as good as it looks,"

Zeke smiled, "That's good," Zeke then began eating along with Ayden. The two were enjoying their dinner, taking drinks of water as needed. When they had finished Zeke pushed the pager button one more time. And exactly one minute later Brent was back.

On his try this time were two plate of creme brule and the pitcher of water. He replaced the desert with the dishes from the main course and refilled the water glasses. "Thank you Brent. That will be all for tonight."

Brent nodded and walked to the elevator. "Thank you" Ayden said as Brent waited for the elevator doors to re-open. Brent nodded then walked in the elevator.

"This is another new Item for us so suggestions are appreciated." Ayden nodded in response.

He took a bite, "Again it's as good as it looks," Zeke smiled and the two ate their desserts.

When the two finished Zeke got up and pulled out Ayden's chair for him to get up.

As the two walked out Ayden realized they were the only ones left. Zeke and Joshua nodded at each other.

The two were now pulling out of town, "Tonight was wonderful, thank you Zeke,"

"You are welcome. But our night isn't over yet," Zeke said with a smile...
