Odd jobs and Langauges?
Here we are now. Almost there. Half way through. And learning how to use what we've been given.
The monks and locals pointed me towards a way to get to Seer Ewan again, apparently he doesn't just live here like I thought he did. He's agreed to take me on his next trip to the Institute of War. I couldn't be more grateful to him for everything he's done for me in the past three years. Teaching me to use my magic, and now he's taking me to the Institute. I'll tell write more, apparently it's time to get ready to go. Back on the road after four years. This will be quite the journey for me.
The travel here was rather uneventful, I don't completely get this whole need for an Institute of War. If people want to fight they should, although it does get a bit questionable at times. Like, who really is the enemy in the Freljord. Ashe, Sejuani or Lissandra? I guess it's all subject to opinion. For me it has to be Lissandra. Forcing people to do inhumane things that nobody should ever have to witness, although, maybe no one in my former pack knew what was going on. I can only hope that they're so blissfully unaware.
We're inside the city now, its big here. Big enough to fit a ton of people. Oh, and Ewan told me I could speak my natural tongue here as well, that all summoners could understand me whether or not they could speak the actual language. I guess it's more of that magic this place was used to contained. He told me about a lot of the history outside the Freljord and in return I told him about some of the things that happened in Lissandra's court. It's... Refreshing to have someone to talk to about things like this. Oh, oh, something's happening. Ewan's asking me to follow him somewhere I can only wonder where he's taking me!
Apparently they're going to be teaching me seven more languages or something like that. I hope its not all seven. Demacian, Noxian and Piltovan is all I need hopefully. I start my classes tomorrow, they also say they'll be teaching me more advanced techniques with ice magic. I'm a bit excited for those.
Wow... It's been two years since I've written in here. I'm proficient in the three previously mentioned languages, not the best. Still pretty jittery. But, on the other hand it appears I wont need it because I'll be going away to do some scouting in Shurima. Apparently I've been hired by the IoW to head all the way to Shurima to do some exploration while Ezreal is busy in the Plague Jungles. I can only hope it goes off without a hitch. I can now also create objects with my ice magic, so I wont need to carry my sword and shield anymore. But, I'm going too anyway. Never know when you wont have any water nearby. And from what I've been told, there's not a lot of it in Shurima. I'll write more when I get to Shurima.
