The next morning, I woke up to find Leo still sound asleep with his arm still around my waist. Just looking at his sleeping face I couldn't help but smile, he just looks so cute. He had that cute innocent little baby face while he sleeps. Suddenly flashbacks of last night started replaying in my head, causing me to blush. Throughout the 3 years that I've been living here, I never dreamed that my relationship with Leonardo the leader of the Hamato clan would reach new heights. Unknowingly, I caressed Leo's cheek and before I knew he started to wake up. In a panic, I snatched my hand away and laid back pretending I was still asleep.
"Mmm... Good morning Vixen." Leo said with a yawn softly rubbing his eyes.
"Hmm... Oh good morning Leo." I responded acting like I just woke up. "How did you sleep?"
But before Leo could answer, there was a sudden knock at my door, like a playful beat of a song. And judging from it from that certain beat it was Michelangelo. He's the only one amongst the guys that like to do to wake me up in the morning.
"Hey Vixen you awake? May I come in?" The orange-band turtle asked.
In a flash, Leo quickly hid himself under my bed just before Mikey came strolling in.
"Hey V... Ummm h-how are you feeling?" Mikey asked shyly."
"Yeah Mikey, I'm feeling alot better.:" I said with a smile hoping he doesn't notice anything strange.
"Oh... Well great... I was super worried about you."
"R-really... Y-you were worried about me?"
"W-well yeah... But I'm glad you're feeling a lot better though."
Hearing that MIkey was worried about me really caught me off guard. I mean sure Mikey always tried to flirt with me, trying to act all tough to impress me but I never actually seen him look so worried before. And to be honest, it was kinda cute.
"Just promise me one thing V..." Mikey interrupted breaking me out of my thoughts
"Huh? Oh... What's that Mikey?"
"Promise me you'll never do something like that ever again."
"I promise." I said with a innocent smile
"By the way... Have you seen Leo? He's usually the first one up before us?"
"Uhhh... N-no... But you know he always goes on his morning runs through the sewers."
"Yeah you're probably right... Sooo... I'll uhhh... See you later."
"Yeah sure Mikey"
Once Mikey was gone, Leo came out from under the bed looking at me with a serious look.
"What's wrong Leo?"
"Seems like Mikey really likes you Vixen." Leo said as he sat down on the bed.
"Yeah... I-I guess so." I responded back as I continued to stare at the door.
"Almost sounds like he's in love with you from the looks of it"
"W-w-what? You can't be serious?"
"I don't know... I mean did you see the way he was looking at you and the way he was acting."
"W-well... Now that you mention it... He was acting a little shy and he was blushing a bit."
"See he's in love with you... Now the question is how do you feel about him?"
When Leo asked me that, I honestly didn't know how to respond. I mean I am flattered that MIkey was really worried and wanted to know if I was doing alright. But to learn that he might be in love with me... That's a totally different story.
"Honestly Leo... I'm not sure how to feel about that. But... Right now, I just wanna focus on us and our relationship."
"I see... I guess figuring that Mikey might be in love with you is a bit of a shock. I suppose we'll cross that bridge when we come to it." Leo said wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
"Speaking of... What are we gonna do about the others? Eventually they're gonna find out and we might have to tell them about us." I asked changing the subject.
"Oh yeah... I almost forgot. Well... What do you think?"
"Well... I think we shouldn't tell them until we see how things work out between us first."
"I understand... Well no matter what your decision is, I'm gonna stand by you."
Hearing that Leo will always be there for me no matter what I decide to do made me extremely happy. Its starting to make me think that this relationship could really work out. But only time will tell.
