The Lighthouse
A epic battle from a role play I made.
*Nirad was out on a nice sunshiny day. He and his 2 android robots went out to inspect the Moon Crystal with the help of Crest the Great Sage and Linn his Apprentice. The 5 of them rose to the top of the Light House Tower where they went up to see how the Moon Crystal was doing. A dark blue crystal of pure shining light was piercing out over the ocean to direct the ships. Crest opened up his magical book he carried and started speaking words of enchantment as a means of talking to the crystal. The 4 of them watched as the crystal shined a dark blue light down on Crest as he chanted the words from his book. And just when everything appeared to be fine, a flying air ship appeared in the sky.* "That's Gaspard's ship! What in blazes is he doing here?" *Nirad asked as the background music started.* https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttGfZKX54Mo *Botman and Shadow Bot both Raise their guns to prepare to fight the air ship.*
*On board the Air ship. Gaspard and his his second in command named Dr. Jamming both prepare the weapons.* "There it is. That's the Moon Crystal eh? The thing that will one day shine light throughout the entire planet. Even though all there is in the future is nothing but darkness and disrepair." *Griffon said with a smug look to his face.* "What should I do sir?" *Dr. Jamming asked Gaspard.* "Destroy it! Those are Emperor Griffon's orders!" *He said as he walked out to the edge of the ship toward the side where the Crystal was facing the ship.* "Yes sir." *Dr. Jamming replied as he ported inside the ship and turned the cannons to open fire on the Light House.*
*Nirad and his robots both watched as the ships main guns fired their heavy cannons at the Light house.* "NOT ON MY WATCH YOU DON'T!!!!!!" *Nirad screamed as he threw out his rainbow top hat. He sucked up both cannon shots and fired them right back at the large battle air ship.* "GAH!!!! Cursid little DEVILS!!!" *Gaspard growled in anger.* *The ship's secondary weapons open fire shooting Gatling guns at the 4 of them. Botman raised his light sword and blocked most of the shots around them. Shadow Bot hovered up in the air and started blasting small holes in the air ship's lower half.* "We'll never let you take this light house!" *Shadow Bot declared and used the full power of his laser blaster on the air ship.*
*The Flying battleship fired it's main heavy cannons again blasting directly at the Moon Crystal. Crest the Great Sage held up a shield around the Moon Crystal using the Moon Crystal's magical powers of light energy. He then charged up dark orbs of blue power and blasted the ship with them multipal times. The ship shook with each heavy hit. The ship started shooting bombs at them in an arched hellfire trying to destroy the structure of the light house. Nirad grabbed his deck of playing cards from his pocket and struck each bomb before it could make contact with the structure of the light house.* "Gonna have to try harder than that!" *Nirad sneered at the ship.*
*Botman, Shadow Bot, and Crest the Great Sage all fired energy blasts at the ship returning a hellfire of their own. The ship was shaking really bad and its main engines was starting to fail. Gaspard growled.* "GAAAAAH!!! HOW DARE YOU TAKE DOWN MY SHIP!!!" *Dr. Jamming ported to the top deck worried.* "It's no good! The ship is going down!" *Gaspard shook his fist.* "Were' not gonna loose to a wizard, a cat, and 2 robots!"
*Gaspard ported to the lower portion of the ship and had his men do repairs on the ships engines. He had his crew working double time to get the ships main engines back to full working order while Dr. Jamming ordered his men to open a hellfire back on the light house. The Gatling guns, heavy cannons, and firing bombs all pounded at the Light house. Crest put up a shield again to protect the light house from the range of bombs. The Wizards spells was getting weaker and weaker the more the ship continued to pound at the shields. The Wizards shields cracked and the entire shield shattered like broken glass as it came crumbling to the ground.*
"The light house is unguarded! FINISH IT OFF NOW!!!" *Dr. Jamming ordered as the ship was ready to fire again. Botman and SHadow bot both aimed their guns at the ship's heavy cannons and blasted the heavy cannons with a full charged shot from both of their laser blasters. The cannons dropped and exploded right off the ship's main deck. Hearing the explosions, Gaspard returned to the main deck to find out what happened.* "What the heck is going on out here? I can't turn my back for a second before my ship gets something blown off of it. ........... is that? Who I think it is?" *He said looking down over the edge of the flying ship to see his rivals, Max and Monica with Nireeda leading them toward the Light house.* "What is she doing here?" *He said as the 3 of them rose up to the top of the Light house as well.*
*Nireeda walked forward looking up at the Light house.* "We finally made it. We had to take the long way, but where finally here. Hope were not to late." *Nireeda said as Monica walked past Nireeda.* "Nope, looks like were right on time." *She said as she dashed as hard as she could and jumped on board the flying ship with her sword extended out at Gaspard.* "You MURDERED MY FATHER!!! AND TORE MY KINGDOM TO BITS! NOW YOU'RE GONNA PAY!!! GET READY GASPARD!!!"
*Monica jumped forward clashing her sword with Gaspard. Gaspard blocked her attack jumping backwards as Monica slashed her sword through the air twice. She charged up her magic and blasted it at Gaspard. Gaspard blocked it with his sword and lunged forward clashing his sword to hers. He knocked her backwards. She leaped into the air over his head and tried bashing him in the back. He spun around and clashed swords before she could make contact.*
*As they were fighting. The Ship started to spin around for it's other 2 main heavy cannons. The ship opened fire as Crest the Great Sage leaped up into the line of fire. The blasts was aimed directly at the Moon Crystal. Crest took the blows as they exploded onto his body. The company gasped at the terrible heroic fate of the wizard.* "That does it!" *Nireeda said as she extended her paw. Rays of light shined in her paw making a sword of pure light.* "Let the powers of the past send you into the brink of destruction!!!" *She said as she aimed her light sword right at the ship and fired a single beam of light right at the ship. It was so powerful it ripped the walls of the ship and blew up one of the main engines that keeps it in the air. The explosion made Monica realize the battle between her and Gaspard would have to wait another day. She ran off the edge of the ship as it was headed to fall. She leaped back to the light house and turned back around watching it sink to the ground.*
*Gaspard growled in defeat. Dr. Jamming ported back to the main deck.* "It's no good sir. Ship's main engines can't handle another attack like that. Were going down!" *Gaspard shook his fist.* "Get us out of here! I'm sick of looking at that light house anyway." *Dr. Jamming nods his head.* "Yes sir." *He said as he ordered a large portal around the ship and then in a flash of light. The ship vanished.*
*Linn was holding her Master in her arms.* "Master? Master Crest? What you did was so stupid and so brave." *Crest looked up at Linn.* "Linn, you do it. See that the Moon Crystal will be safe. I want you to do that for me." *He said as he started to close his eyes.* "Master? MASTER!!!!??? NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" *The party closed their eyes watching Crest die right in front of them.*
"We couldn't .... save him." *Max said in a low tone. Monica shook her head.* "I guess not." *Linn shook her head.* "You're wrong. I will become the Legendary sage my master wanted me to be. I will guard the Moon Crystal. And one day. It will illuminate the entire planet." *Nirad smiled.* "Well, that's great Linn."
