Out to Sea for Leroy by Draconicon

Boating was a frequent hobby for Leroy and his orca friend, Janmar. Despite the latter's ability to outswim the small craft that they shared, the two of them still enjoyed taking time out of the day and heading out to sea during the long college months leading up to summer vacation. It was always enjoyable, particularly for the human, and it let him de-stress in a way that almost nothing else could.

But with the college time coming to an end, there was another issue, which was family. Leroy sighed as he pulled on the sails of the boat as they were coming back in to dock, thinking of how there would be the inevitable invitation when he got back to the dorms, and how this would stop before long.

He was about to make the last turn to bring the craft towards the dock when Janmar reached out and tapped him on the shoulder.

"You okay, man?"

"Yeah, just...just thinking of how family is gonna be."

"What, taking you inland again?"

As he nodded, Janmar grumbled. The orca often did, when Leroy wasn't going to be around, and definitely when one of the two of them was unhappy. But things were the way they were; it wasn't like he had an alternative.

Still, he was grateful when the orca reached out and pulled the helm, turning them back out towards the water. He went along with it, though he looked back with a questioning eyebrow.

"Something the matter?"

"Take us back out for a bit. I wanna talk for a little while."

"Okay."

Considering that it was already pretty late, there weren't too many other boats out. The few that were floated in place, and he could sail around them. Probably some couples that were enjoying the last bits of spring before it got too hot, enjoying some cuddle time, or romantic dinners. Boats were good for that, though it wasn't something that he'd ever felt the need for. Or had the time for, if it came down to that.

Soon, the shoreline was a distant thing, barely visible on the horizon. Throwing a pair of anchors over each side of the boat, Leroy secured the mast before sitting down and looking over at his friend again.

Janmar was quiet as the boat rocked back and forth, the orca obviously thinking about something. It wasn't an unusual thing to see, admittedly, and Leroy knew better than to interrupt. Besides, it wasn't like they had anywhere to go.

After a few minutes, the orca stood up, adjusting his swim trunks a bit before walking to the edge of the ship. He looked out at the water, and then turned to look over his shoulder.

"How would you like to spend the summer at sea with me?"

The question caught him by surprise, and Leroy raised an eyebrow in response. Janmar grunted, looking back out at the sea.

"It's got plenty of room, you know. And it's not like there's anything your family can do if they're trying to find a feral orca out there."

"Wait...you mean, actually in the sea...like, like you?"

"Yeah."

Considering Janmar's reputation, Leroy was stunned at the offer. Yeah, they were friends, but it was something that they kept to the boat trips and stuff around college. He knew that Janmar wasn't exactly normal, and could become feral if he wanted and swim around in the sea, but there'd always been this weird sense of pride about it, as if it was something he was reluctant to share. To have it offered now, when he needed an escape most...well, he was honored.

Leroy smiled as he slowly stood up, walking up behind the orca and laying a hand on his shoulder. Janmar looked away a bit, but the human just smiled.

"I'd be happy to stay in the ocean during the summer."

"Yeah, great. Let's, uh, get in the water."

"Good idea; wouldn't really be able to get out of the boat after we transformed, huh?"

"No kidding."

While Leroy locked down the rest of his boat, even putting down a small note saying that he would be back to claim it after a few months, Janmar had already leaped off of the deck and was floating in the water. His swim trunks, however, were nowhere to be seen, and only the ripples of the waves kept the human from seeing what was probably hanging out.

Blushing, he supposed that he'd need to be naked as well. He pulled off his pants - all too conscious of the way that Janmar was looking back - and folded them up before throwing them into the inner part of the sailboat. After making a quick call to the coast guard, he threw the phone in with the rest of it, and pinned down the note on the main deck before leaping overboard, diving into the water with practiced ease.

Of course, less practiced was his tolerance of the cold. Usually, they were swimming in shallower waters, and Leroy immediately started shivering. He treaded water as best he could, but it was still hard to focus on swimming, let alone anything else, when the water was cold enough to immediately give him goosebumps.

"H-how do you...deal with this?!"

"Well, the blubber helps."

"Well, if you're g-gonna t-transform me, c-c-could you g-g-get started b-before I f-f-freeze to d-death?"

"Heh, sure. Hold your breath."

He barely had a chance to suck in a lungful of air before he was pulled beneath the surface of the water, and even then, Leroy didn't think he'd be able to hold it for very long. The water's chill was making it hard to keep focused, even as he felt Janmar's hands rubbing him and the orca's chest against...his...back...

Some heat returned to his cheeks as he blushed, feeling the orca's hands rubbing around his hips and then over his groin. A soft tingle started to spread where the hands touched, beyond simple arousal, and as he looked down at his skin, he saw it darkening rapidly as Janmar's hands rubbed down his body.

Underwater, there was no way to ask how it was done, but Leroy didn't really care. The feeling of his body changing, the way that his skin was turning into something else, something smooth and slick, was only for the better. Even the feeling of a growing shaft between his ass cheeks wasn't too bad - and even rather warm - as he was changed, as he was taken from human to something much more fun.

He managed to hold his breath long enough for his skin to be turned black and white between his neck and his knees, but then he had to go back to the surface. Leroy tapped Janmar on the arm, and the orca let him go. The human broke the surface, sucked in another breath, and dropped back down.

Of course, Janmar was already floating further down than before, and his talented hands grabbed hold of the human's legs. Leroy smiled as he watched the changes occur, the black and white smoothness running down his legs and over his feet. They changed from pale skin to orca patterns, smooth and subtle curves to the colors leaving him looking similar, but slightly different, to Janmar.

The change didn't stop there. He watched as his legs were pushed together, and shivered at the feeling of his legs melting together. The strange sensation went from his hips all the way down to his ankles, and he was helpless but to watch as his legs gradually knitted together, the skin reaching out in strands to connect his legs together. His feet turned outwards, toes pointed away from each other and heels together, and slowly thickened into a big tail fluke. Months of watching Janmar had shown him how powerful it was, and he didn't dare move.

Still, he couldn't help but grin as the orca's transformative hands rubbed up his tail. It thinned slightly just at the ankles, but the rest of his legs thickened enormously. He could feel his new, massive bulk pulling him down in the water a little bit, but trusted his friend to keep him safe. As it was, his upper body wasn't strong enough to keep him treading water, and it was only the powerful hands rubbing along the backs of his legs that kept him from sinking deeper.

Janmar turned him over, and Leroy bit back a moan - and saved precious air - as his tail was completed and those hands wrapped around his shaft. While not under-endowed as a human, he didn't even have to look to know that he was getting positively huge. Feral orcas were massive, and he knew that he would be no exception.

While his shaft was still twisting out of his thickening body, getting thicker at the base and thinner at the tip, those hands were rubbing up along his belly. Muscle and fat and blubber grew at an enormous rate, making his skinny body bunch outwards, even as it felt like he was being stretched longer as well. He groaned, bubbles slipping from his still-human mouth and nose, and he waved an arm - that was even then slowly becoming a flipper - to get his friend's attention. Thankfully, he understood the message immediately, and up they went to the surface once more.

It was a close call, as he gasped for breath as they broke the water. He couldn't support himself, at least not yet. Janmar had to hold him up, and Leroy could tell that it wasn't easy for him. He took a couple of deep breaths, and on the third, nodded to be submerged once more.

As soon as they were below the water, the changes continued. Leroy wasn't quite sure how much bigger his body was compared to its former size, but he knew that he had to be at least three times heavier, if not much more. His bulk was massive, and as his arms were pulled out to the sides, he was able to watch them flatten out into big black flippers. His back ached for a moment as his fin pushed out, and it almost felt like there was a small drill in the back of his head. It took him a moment to recognize it as his new blowhole, and when he did, he had to fight the temptation to puff out of it.

All that was left was his head, and Leroy chuckled as Janmar circled around him, smiling at the anthro orca treading water in front of him. He'd always been the smaller of the pair of them, so being the bigger one now was a surprising - and rather nice - change.

Those hands pressed to his head, and this time, he could feel every change as his cheeks and scalp were stroked. His hair disappearing, his teeth sharpening, his mouth turning into a soft, rubbery beak; he felt it all as his face distorted, elongated, widened. His eyes rolled more to the sides of his head, but still kept enough forward facing direction to let him see Janmar in front of him.

Soon, his head was completely orca, and his brain - while still Leroy - had new instincts. He puffed, nodding at Janmar, and started swimming out towards the sea. He knew that his friend would change and follow after, but he wanted to keep moving.

The sea was vast, after all, and he only had a few months to see as much of it as possible.

The End
