Ugh, well sorry for the schedule slip with this. I have been bedridden for the last few weeks and needed a few repairs done on the system. If anyhing besides this you aren't going to be waiting any longer as I have six chapters written foward. So enjoy this and beware the vampires.

Chapter Four: Rise of the Vampires

"Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello, My name is Robotic Jimmy Carr and welcome to a special edition of Celebrity Who's Line is Getting Served 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown: Millionaire Monopoly Edition, and tonight we have three special guests for the board tonight!" Carr, the head in a jar he was, said as he moved over the stage in his robotic spider body.

Carr almost hypnotized the crowd with the act and they seemed just seemed to keep on clapping. The live crowd was of course in the bleachers in front of the board. In front of them printed on the floor was the large square white board. To their side was the countdown board with the robotic operator and to their left was the improvision area.

Behind the board was a large curtain where the all the producers would work, making sure that the game barely defined by a terrible loose set of rules would somehow manage to keep on running for the entire day.

"Our first guest is another brain on a head, and like me she also had had a major career in the 20th century, where has my life gone, Robotic Roseanne Barr!" The crowd cheered and the curtain parted and revealed another robotic spider body walking through on to the starting place on the board.

"Hello, Jimmy Carr, would you like me to sing?" She said as she walked on the board and prepared for the game ahead of her.

"Ugh, no thank you. We don't have insurance on glass." Jimmy said joking as he crawled away from the celebrity. "Our next guess can be found every night on the BBC's soap opera Doctor Who; the current Doctor Tom David-Bakerson has graced us with his appearance." The crowd really cheered as the actor dressed in a nonsensical outfit, almost like a rainbow puked on a suit and a scarf, walked into the studio making peace signs to the crowd as he walked next to Barr.

"Then we have a very special guest, he a spotted salamander. He absorbs the sun, and converts it into energy to defeat the bad guys; today we have Starlight, member of the STAR team here in New York!" Robotic Jimmy Carr said as the curtain parted for the last time. This time Arlo walked out with his STAR gear on. On his suit, a perception filter sends out waves over his face, preventing the crowd from knowing what he looked like and the waves traveling through the cameras and to the audience at home.

"Well it good to be here Jimmy." Arlo said being modest as he got the loudest of all the applause. He looked at Barr and David-Bakerson making a face because he knew that he was more popular than the two. "Suck it you two." He said whispering to the group.

"Now then, the hologram projectors are all hot now, so let's running." Carr said as behind him, a spotlight-like object activated and above each guest, a holographic box formed like a dice with changing numbers.

"Now then, jump up and let the game begin." Carr said as the game started. All three of them jumped up, and managed to hit the box at the same time. The hologram stopped and all three of them had a three above their heads.

"And already the tension is mouthwatering; now since all three of you can afford the property there is going to be a property hoedown for the property." Carr said as all three walked over to the next title.

"Well then house musician Laura Mall, if you may drop the beat!" Jimmy said as the three walked over to improv area and the music played out from Laura Hall's piano. The three started to dance, barring Barr who could only do a bit of a wiggle.

The camera caught the light bouncing off everything and captured the information. It changed it into a digital signal and transmitted the signal throughout the city for television signals to pick up around the city and the world.

"Well then look at that how did we get Arlo on that program, he is neither good with number puzzles and or word puzzles, I'm pretty sure that is going to be the kind of stuff that kills our reputation." Alison said as she watched Arlo on the television trying to rhyme flock with mock.

"It could be worse Valo wouldn't even be able to talk in front of the audience." Sarah said as she handed Alison a cup of tea from her microwave. Alison took a sip of the tea and calmed down as she watched Arlo on the television.

"Oh come on Arlo you could have gotten this if you rhymed orange with borage!" Alison said practically screaming at Arlo, Sarah felt luckily that Arlo could not hear the wolf screaming at him. "Gezz, so where did Valo and Virgil go."

"Oh well the director send them out with a mechanical guide to the play, what was it called something like My Little Princess Mononoke, or something like that." Sarah said as she talked with Alison.

"Ah, come on. I love that play why didn't the director invite me instead of Valo, when they get home I swear I will kill him for not taking me to that play." Alison said as she took a sip of her tea trying to deal with Sarah.

"Well then, maybe it will be a bad performance or something." Alison said as she wondered how Valo and Virgil were doing at the theater.

...

"And that's why we're the aristocrats." The actors on the stage said as they demonstrated a terrible act, it could not be mentioned because of how vile it was. Virgil and Valo looked down at terrible play with their eyes wondering what just happened.

"And we are the aristocrats because...." The actors stated as they started a song, with the trumpets and clarinet blazing in a terrible harmony. Valo and Virgil looked down in horror as they wondered what was happening.

"Is this punishment for something, why in the entire world did the director choose to send us to this terrible play?" Virgil asked as he averted his eyes from what horrors that were taking place on the stage below.

"I don't know maybe if we close our ears we can survive before this play melts our ears." Valo said as he closed his ear holes with a blast of steam.

"Wait you can close your ears, no fair please don't force me to deal with this terrible play alone." Virgil said as Valo practically shut himself down to deal with the play.

"Crap, we then let's get ready for five hours of terror." Virgil said as he prepared for the play to take down two education levels.

...

"They're probably having a good time." Sarah said as she walked out of her medbay and there was a red light on the morgue panel. She walked in and there was a body laid out on her medical table. The police must have dropped a body off after they decided that the situation would have been to supernatural for the police to deal with.

"So what are you doing?" Alison asked as she looked at the glowing crystal on Sarah's desk that seemed to connected to scanning equipment. She looked at it and it gave off a strange glow.

"Oh it's nothing, just a gem that seems to have earth energy inside of it. I'm checking to see if the energy inside can corrupt." Sarah said explain as she looked around the dead body. She looked at his neck and she gasped.

"Oh come on you could have rhymed xylophone with fliodome!" Alison yelled as she switched her attention back to television.

"Alison we have a dead body, come in here, stop complaining about Arlo." Sarah said as she started to examine the body on her table. She looked at his neck and there were two large holes in the person's neck. "Uhhh, well now then that happened."

She grabbed a knife and sliced into the man's arm. No blood came gushing out of the new wound and their appeared to be any blood in the man's body.

"Well then Sarah what do we have today?" Alison said as she looked at the dead body on the table.

"Well this man appears to have absolutely no blood in his body, so vampires?" Sarah said as she made a well thought off conclusion.

"We do we know who did it? Can we even track that kind of stuff?" Alison asked as she looked at the dead person's body. She looked at his face, his skin tone was pale blue and he seemed to be almost frozen.

"No we can't track this like that; we'd need to get a vampire to admit to that instead." Sarah said as she looked over the man's body. "I think this would be a good situation to get Virgil, maybe get him out the play."

"No, let him enjoy the play. We can do this on our own, think of this like the old days before Arlo and Valo got in the way." Alison said as she placed a body bag around the man's body and closed it.

"Yeah, but there was way more subtext between us during those days. Now then a higher-class vampire would not leave their pray out in the open, so this had to be a lower class vampire. Now Virgil said something about a vampire underground where the lower classes hang out." Sarah said as she realized what they had to do.

"Well then to the vampire underground it is." Alison said as she walked out of the morgue and prepared to go on a raid.

...

"So this is the vampire underground entrance?" Alison said as she walked into the abandoned subway station looking around. She pulled out a flashlight from her pocket and shined it around. In front of them was a massive pool of blood on the ground.

She shined the flashlight around the pool and there were three vampires drinking from the blood pool. They hissed at the light and ran away from it and into a dark corner.

"Something's not right here." Sarah said as she walked forward and touched the pool of blood. She shivered when she felt what happened to blood. She walked around the blood pool and Alison found a door with light.

They walked forward keeping the vampires in corner as they walked to the door. Alison opened the steel door, which creaked as she peered into to the dark corridor. She looked down and no vampires appeared to inside.

She started down the first step followed by Sarah, who quickly closed the door and locked it not wanting to be followed by the feral vampires. They quickly walked down to the bottom of the stairwell, finding another steel door.

They opened it unprepared for what could be on the other side of the door but had no idea of the death and despair that was on the other side. They opened it and they were in some sort of underground cavern, which they must have carved out with their bare hands.

They walked out and near the entrance; there was some sort of quazi-market place. Their seemed to be all sorts of goods on sale in the market place, from voodoo dolls to "celebrity" blood. Their appeared to be a long line especially at the man that was selling celebrity blood, but the consumers did not seem to care about the blood they were buying.

"What's the hell is going on here, it's like hell is starting beneath New York again." Alison said as she walked into the market place. The vampires trying to be sold blood must have heard or smelt the ground and started to gather around.

"Please, ma'ams donate your blood to me. The shipment hasn't come yet and it was supposed to be here three weeks ago, we oh 'so thirsty and need some blood." A vampire said begging to the two.

"Listen we are here to find out who attacked someone, anyone got any ideas on people that went up to the surface?" Alison asked the group of vampires that seemed to be worshipping her like a god because of her blood.

"Listen, you need to talk to the head counselor he can tell you the information you need, these people will help us get our blood back!" A vampire said before announcing to the crowd what was happening.

Alison looked over behind her and saw the where the vampires were referring to, if a counselor was anywhere in a vampire community it was definitely in the massive gothic castle with artificial thunder. Alison and Sarah started to make their way towards the gothic castle, passing in to street that passed between homes that looked like Victorian apartments.

There was trash on the sides of the streets and vampire children playing in the trash, their parents sitting on the steps and begging for blood. Alison empathized with the vampires and hoped that they would be able to return the artificial blood.

"Wonder what's happening to Virgil and Valo?" Alison asked wondering where they were in the play.

...

"Sweet Jesus I cannot take this for much longer." Virgil whispered as he started to bite his fingernails. He had managed to eat his entire meal and could not push away the play any longer. Valo was literally like a shell, with his eyes and ears closed he was not forced any of the play.

"Well then you can be my wingman anything." An actor said saying the line somehow with the most possible amount of cheese in the world. Virgil's right eye started to twitch as insanity started to set in.

"Bullshit, you can be mine." Another actor said as the entire crowd started to clap. The curtains started to lower on the scene and Virgil thought it might have been over. However, he realized that he was at a play and it was only an intermission.

"Valo, wake up there's an intermission." Virgil said whispering as the lights turned on and the theater lit up again. Valo's shell shook for a second and Valo opened up again, steam streaming out of his ears, eyes, and joints.

"Oh, good how's your mental state?" Valo asked as he shook out his joints.

"I don't know how these people love this play, everything is so cheesy and there is barely any plot, these people must be idiots to love this play." Virgil said as he put his head down.

Waiters shuffled out of the kitchen and delivered platters of food to the table. Virgil almost slobbered at the site of food, and Valo grabbed a piece of bread and started to much on it. However, barely a second later the curtain rose and the play started again.

Valo quickly shoved the bread into his mouth and shut himself down again. Virgil put his head down silently crying as his torture started again.

...

"It's probably going well; I wonder how Arlo's doing though?" Sarah said as they walked down the street.

...

"Well, well, well, each of our contestants have now passed the five million dollar mark and at two hours into the game we are now entering double money mode." Robotic Jimmy Carr said to the audience clapping.

Arlo was standing a few spaces in front of the pass go, he didn't need the now measly two hundred dollars it would have given go. He was in second place and he only need Tom David-Bakerson to land on one of his properties and he'd be placed back into first place.

"Now currently Tom David-Bakerson in first place with about Six Million Dollars, Starlight has about Five and a Half and Robotic Rosanne Barr has about Five Million." Robotic Jimmy Carr said as the crowd cheered.

"Now than when each contestant reaches five million, we have free money give out!" Carr said to the crowd clapping at anything now, "Now contestants grab your bird suits and head over to the improv area!"

Arlo sighed as he walked off his board space and towards a large box, labeled "Bird Suits". He reached into the box and grabbed the yellow fluffy costume. He shamefully placed it over his body and walked over to the stage.

"Now then, you have to capture the seeds that fall from the ceiling. Each one is worth a hundred dollars, so attempt to capture the most with your mouth." Robotic Carr said as Arlo swallowed his shame.

...

"Arlo's probably doing good, but we need to help these people." Alison said as they walked by the vampires hoping that they would be able to property help them at the end of the investigation. The site saddened her, the poverty that the vampires were living in and she felt that her loyalty to Virgil would compel her to help the vampiric creatures.

"I know, I can feel their pain. They are dying, without human blood their ablitity to carry oxygen in their blood will reduce until they die of lack of oxygen." Sarah said as she walked behind Alison. She could feel the vampire's emotions. All she felt was sadness all around her

As they approached the castle, there was almost an eerie presence as they walked up. They had a group of vampires following them as if they were the messiah or something. They arrived at the steps and climbed up to the front door, almost as if the irony was needed there was a large lion head knocker on the door.

They looked around their vampire group was pushing them towards the door as Alison grabbed the knocker and took a gulp. She lifted her hand and pushed it forward, the knocker produced a loud noise as it hit against the door. The artificial thunder blasted, and the door pulled open.

"Hello, hello, hello, anyone home?" Alison asked as she walked into the house followed by Sarah. No one from the crowd followed them into the house, leaving them to face the councilor by their self.

"Who dares, face the might of Quartz?" A vampire said above them as the artificial thunder flashed illuminating the castle. All around them was massive statues of gargoyles around the castle. A shadow jumped up and flew down before the two.

"Hello Sir, we wish to help you and you're vampires. We know you are all in pain and we wish to know what has happened to the artificial blood." Alison asked as she walked up to the vampire and tried to figure out what was happening.

"The upper class vampires have taken out artificial blood away, we can't afford to on like this forever. They always do this, taking away out blood. However, if there were no upper class vampires we would get blood." The councilor said as he started to elaborate.

"Calm down, you have no need to start a revolution here. We can always reach a peaceful agreement with the vampires and get your blood back." Sarah said as she attempted to stop any violence that would start.

"No, this has to done. We must rise up against the vampires and take back our artificial blood, then the class divides of the vampire world shall be no more" The counselor said as he turned towards the door.

"Crap, this is not going to be good." Alison said as she realized what she did. The counselor opened the door and faced the vampire crowd that was standing outside of the castle.

"Vampires, we for too long have repressed by the upper class twits, which rule this vampire structure. We shall rise up through the city and take over the vampires and we regain our blood!" The counselor said to the crowd cheering him on.

"Crap he has the crowd, we maybe they decided to something peaceful instead?" Sarah said hoping that she would turn out to be right. However, the crowd quickly took to arms and grabbed their pitchforks and torches.

"Would how'd they get pitchforks down here, and torches seem like a terrible risk." Sarah asked as she looked at the doors, that so she pulled her head back into the building and looked at Alison. "So got any good ideas?"

"Nothing, maybe this will be a good thing. Maybe an era of peace will result between the vampires and mortals?" Sarah said as she poked her head back out of the door and looked at the crowd.

"Today we shall take over the vampires and then tomorrow we shall take over the mortal world!" The councilor said as Sarah quickly pulled her head into the building again. "Maybe the crowd will disagree?" The crowd continued cheering and if anything started to cheer louder.

"Sarah please stop talking, before any more things you say come true." Alison said as she pulled back into the castle. "OK, we need to get out of here somehow."

"Oh, wait Virgil can teleport. Let's hope these vampires can't." Sarah said as she looked out of the building again. There were a few white flashes and soon the entire crowd disappeared. "Well, shite."

...

Virgil realized that he might have been released from his prison when his phone started to vibrate. He looked and he got a text from Alison. He saw something about a vampire uprising and they were in the vampire castle, he stood up grabbing the attention of the theater.

He put his hand on Valo's body and focused his teleportation energy. There was a purple flash and the two disappeared. Virgil stood up and he was in the gothic castle of the vampire underground. Valo hadn't woke up yet and fell on the ground.

"What happened to him?" Sarah asked as she looked at Valo on the ground.

"Oh, the play sent him into a cationic state, now what's the situation?" Virgil asked as he rejoined the group." There was something about a vampire uprising happening."

"Oh in all spades, we should probably get the vampire capital attempt to mitigate the situation." Alison said as she explained what was happening currently.

"Well then we have to teleport above the castle and go in the secret entrance." Virgil said as he put his hands out. "However, if we do this we might change the world, are you ready for this?"

"I'm ready to kick some vampire ass." Alison said as she placed her hand on Virgil's hand.

"You have my hand." Sarah said as she placed her hand on top of Virgil's hand.

"And you have my exoskeleton." Valo said as he woke up from his cationic state and placed his hand on top of Virgil's.

"Should we get Arlo?" Virgil asked as he prepared to teleport away to the castle.

"Leave the salamander alone, this is our mission." Alison said as she nodded to Virgil. The vampire glowed and it spread out through the group. Once they were all covered all four of them teleported to the castle. As it was a vampire castle, it was inherently gothic.

They landed on a balcony and Alison took charge. She walked over to one of the windows and kicked it in. She pressed a few buttons on her suit, and activated the suit inertia dampener. She jumped down followed by Virgil, and Sarah and Valo.

All four of them landed on the vampire's dining table, where they happened to eating diner.

"Well then this is a surprise, son." The largest vampire said as he stood up and looked at the four on his dining table. He towered over them even as they were on the dining table.

"Well guys, this is Diamond. He's the lead vampire and he happens to be my "father"." Virgil said making air quotes when he said father. "Anyway father there appears to be a vampire revolution coming your way, so you should find some way to peacefully give them back their artificial blood."

"I'm just going to let Virgil handle this." Alison said as she realized that this wasn't her battle for now. "Everybody stand down."

"Well then they shall die for their insolence." Diamond said in a deep voice, that echoed throughout the hall. There was a knock on the castle's door and it opened forcefully with a crowd of vampires entering the room.

"Diamond, we have come her to kill you. Stand down and we may spare you." The councilor said as he entered the castle, and a massive crowd of vampire behind him.

"You are to be exterminated for what you have done." Diamond said as he raised his fist and a massive white cannon was dragged into the room. The crowds of vampires looked in horror and started to run away. "Fire the cannon!"

"No!", Virgil said as the cannon fired hitting the vampires and causing them to fall on the ground like dominos. Their bodies glowed as the door closed and Diamond turned his attention on the vampires.

"Now then I think this would be a perfect time to take over New York, thank you for the idea." Diamond said as all the other vampires in the room stood up and looked at the group on the table.

"No, you shall not do that." Alison said going back on her previous statement. "We are the protectors of New York and you shall not lay a hand on one of its citizens!"

"And who are you little girl!" Diamond said trying to intimidate the wolf standing in front of him.

"I am Alison Smith, and I can yell as loud as you!" Alison said walking to the end of the table and standing up to the vampire that was twice her height.

"No, now then General Cuban, why don't you prepare for the hovership." Diamond said as another vampire came out from the shadows.

"Hello, Alison. It seems that your brother is more alive than I left him last time." The vampire said as Alison realized that he was Darian Cuban, the man who ran the illegal prawn business.

"We decided to get him out of prison, as to help him get his revenge on you, now then vampires attack!" The vampires around the table ran up and grabbed everyone on the table. Virgil jumped up and teleported away.

"No, stop it let us go!" Alison screamed as she tried to get out their grips. Sarah and Valo said nothing as they let the vampire's grab them.

"Get Virgil and use the cannon on him. Keep him together until you put him on the ship. Also there were one more these pests of them on a game show or something." Diamond said commanding Darian.

Darian jumped up and grabbed Virgil midair as the vampire teleported back into the room.

"No, let me go. I am royalty or something, you cannot do this me!" Virgil said as Darian grabbed him. The vampire dragged him down to the table and the vampire servants turned the cannon towards Virgil.

"No you can't do this to me, no, no, no!" Virgil said as the cannon started to charge. A white light like before shot out and hit Virgil, but didn't spread to Darian. Virgil screamed in pain, Alison and the others looking in horror as Virgil seemingly died in front of him.

"Listen you vampires; I will let myself turn into a vampire if you let my friends go. I can be of use to you!" Sarah said as she started to struggled against the vampire's grip.

"No, I don't think you'll be of use." Diamond said as he looked at Sarah. He reached into a pocket and pulled out an oversized gun. "Now, I really want to use this on you."

Diamond pointed the gun at Sarah and pulled down the trigger. A bullet flied out and hit Sarah in the chest. The Labrador looked in horror as the bullet passed through her chest and her body turned limp.

"Sarah!" Alison screamed as she tried to escape the vampiric grip of her captor. She managed to get out and ran towards Diamond.

"You have failed Alison Smith, your army has failed, you city will be taken over and you are mine!" Diamond yelled as he grabbed Alison. He bashed his head forward and knocked the daylights out of Alison.
