The unexpected sequel to Existence: https://www.sofurry.com/view/856376

What do the gods have to say about their fantastic world they built? What about Uthurunku, and other souls? Will they be safe?

"I can already tell that this new generation will be awful," Wiraqocha muttered to himself as he silently paced back and forth in front of the now abandoned house that once belonged to Uthurunku, the soul that had feared descending down to Earth once more -- and for a good reason. His tail swished a bit as he walked, and his decorative body armor glistened a bit from the sun above.

As he thought about it, he realized how fearful Uthurunku was. Perhaps he really did know about the happenings below, and they were anything but pleasant. He didn't approve of his attitude and his will to stay instead, but, as a god of good heart, Wiraqocha could understand. He still didn't think a brave and courageous soul like Uthurunku would give up just like that, though.

"Doing okay, brother?" A voice from behind him called. He turned around, instantly recognizing who it was: Pacha Kamaq, a yellow triceratops and defender of the Eternal City in the Sky. Despite being completely different species, both were brothers and divine descendants of the Sun God, Inti, destined to protect the Earth.

"Hm. I guess..." Wiraqocha replied. It was his own brother he was responding to, but he felt as if they were total strangers. Despite his tough looking appearance, Pacha Kamaq was more relaxed and calm, whereas Wiraqocha was strict and honest to his word... sometimes. His opinions conflict that of his brother's, the only reason they end up fighting at some point.

"I can see it in your eyes," Kamaq replied coyly. "It's about Uthurunku, is that not?"

"Well..." The tiger neglected talking, but eventually he spoke up. "It's more than that. The souls we've created and the ones we've sent down, especially those like poor Uthurunku... What might they be like today?"

"I thought you said you'd never care about a descended soul," the triceratops started. "Because, after all, 'their past life was just a list of what not to do next time'. Or am I mistaken?"

"I only said that because I was enraged..." Wiraqocha remembered that day perfectly. The first time Uthurunku ever came back from a life. His cause of death was murder. He was only 19 and everyone despised him. He returned crying, fearful of the next life he might have to suffer. Those memories remain stuck to him as a soul of the Eternal City. He might not remember his experiences once he is born anew back on Earth, but a tale tells that if a realization occurs in a soul, he might just have all those memories flood back and the soul gains eternal knowledge, being almost completely on par with a god.

And the only reason Wiraqocha got mad was for the same reason he was worrying about: the new generation of souls born and souls returned.

"Sometimes, I'm not sure what to say in situations like these," Pacha Kamaq broke Wiraqocha's train of thought. "But I can tell you that their fate depends on us. Especially you."

Wiraqocha remained a bit thoughtful. I suppose he's right, he thought.

The tiger slowly headed back to his throne, with Kamaq trailing behind him just a few steps away. None of them said anything to each other until they were nearing the Eternity Gates, an important location for all souls, as it's the first place they visit shortly after death.

"Look at all these souls," Kamaq noted to his brother. One at a time, most of the souls that stop at the gate are welcomed in, for being overall kind and friendly in their life. "All of these souls have been in different countries, they've been places, they've been raised differently... "

"But in the end we're just one family of grandious beings," Wiraqocha completed the sentence. It was part of his promise to Kamaq and Inti on the day the fabled Fantastic Creation was completed.

"Deep down, we know each other," the triceratops continued. "It just takes time to realize it."

"Perhaps that was our vision of our perfect world," Wiraqocha sighed. "A world where we all knew each other and actually appreciated our differences."

His brother thought about it for a minute, then said, "If that's so... then why wait?"

Over the years, Uthurunku, as a new being of the Earth, grew up to a very troublesome childhood. Once again, his fate was destined to that of teasing, bullying, and near death experiences. But it was only the night of his 15th birthday that, while sleeping, he dreamed of an amazing story about how the world was created by 3 mysterious entities that only wanted to see the world become a bright and grandious place. His story was out of the ordinary and almost like nothing ever seen before, it was just too amazing to be considered imagination...
