Brit was a lonesome man, an iguana on a self-given quest to find some form of purpose that would sway him away from letting his inner demons consume him. He walked his way over the many roads and paths that the land of Daegan offered to him, traversing the numerous cities and occasional villages that inhabited the land for a goal that even he wasn't quite sure as to what it was.

As the clock struck noon on another day in the fire scorched wastes of a once vibrant forest landscape Brit took step after step in the shifting sands as he strolled along his path, until his attention was drawn to a peculiar looking figure that stood protruding from the horizon.

Brit checked his duster for a firearm to ready in case whatever lied ahead was or became hostile, after finding a low calibre pistol he resumed his glance towards the creature, only to find it was now standing directly before him.

The initial shock sent Brit buckling backwards and landing sharply on his butt. Once he gathered his bearings, he took his pistol and pointed it in his general forward direction, hoping to intimidate whatever now stood over him. He directed his glance upwards to meet with the eyes of a peculiar looking creature; he stood in a peculiar way, something was probably was the result on his anatomy, his scales her a deep but alluring shade of blue, and he back was covered by a large and sturdy looking backpack draped over his shoulder, appearing to hold a wealth of loot.

The creature simply stood and stared at Brit, which both confused and aggravated him to the point where he leaped up and kept his gun out outpointed at the being.

"What the hell are you?!" Brit sternly asserted to the creature, only to have his words seemingly shook off and the creature responded with a questioning head tilt and a jolly smile, which further irritated Brit, whose last form of social contact was a group of speciest bandits with the intention of dismembering his tail for fun, so tensions were high in Brit's mind.

Brit raised his gun wielding hand and struck it down across the creature's face, knocking him to the ground in swift succession and knocking his possessions out of his backpack.

"Am I funny to you? It that it? Do you want to laugh at me too, and beat me down until you're bored with me?!" he ranted and raved down at the toppled creature, still pointing his pistol down and the seemingly peaceful creature. One item out of the creatures' possessions peaked Brit's interest, a book of some sort, so he leaned down to pick it up. The book was entitled 'Blu's Diary', the contents depicted the creature as a 'Yoshi', with some sort of rose farming occupation.

"So, you're a Yoshi, huh? Not much of a talker though are ya? And, I have no time for people who aren't useful to me." Brit uttered in a tone of disgust before throwing Blu's book into the sands beneath him and aiming his pistol down between the Yoshi's big, sweet, innocent eyes.

But suddenly, the Yoshi leapt up and tackled Brit to the floor, pinning him down and staring down at the startled iguana with a stern look upon his face.

"G-get off me you oversized gecko!" Brit yelled before grabbing a handful of sand and throwing it into Blu's face, then shoving him backwards. As Blu buckled back, Brit crawled up and cleaved Blu upside the jaw in a violent response to the pin-down. "I've had it with you!" Brit roared as he began laying down punch after punch onto the defenceless Yoshi's skull, shortly before brandishing his hunting shotgun and jamming it to the side of Blu's head, pinning him down to the sand then pulling the trigger, unleashing an entire shell of lead through his brains and back out into the ground beneath him. Blood sprayed all over the two of them and savagely parted Blu's head down the middle.

Taking a deep sigh of relief, Brit relinquished his rage and holstered his gun, leaving the lifeless reptile to be most likely consumed by the landscape that surrounded him, but as Brit began to make his way beyond sigh of the disfigured corpse, a noise stopped him in his tracks. It made him turn to inspect it immediately, and was he saw he could not believe.

Blu was no longer laid upon the floor with his brains pooling into the sand, but instead he was standing facing Brit with his head slowly repairing itself right before his eyes. But, the more peculiar part of the current situation was that Blu did not even look mad at Brit, he just stood there with his happy-go-lively expression dawned on his face. Brit couldn't believe Blu, and even more so for himself, it wasn't often one of his rage outlets came back to smile at him, let alone come back to life at all.

"W-what are you?" Brit wailed as he sunk to his knees in defeat, waiting for whatever hell the Yoshi could possibly be capable to dealing in revenge. However, Blu simply strolled over to Brit with a steady pace. Brit closed his eyes in fear of what he thought was going to happen to him, but then he heard Blu also drop to his knees. Brit opened his eyes to see Blu staring back at him bearing a smile upon his face, which was now fully healed of any wounds he sustained from his attack.

"I guess I misjudged you, I'm sorry." Brit looked Blu in the eyes and muttered again after a gasp, "Damn, I-I'm sorry." Was all he could muster at this point, before being interrupted by Blu reaching over and wrapping his hands around Brit. Soon after Blu reached into his backpack and offered a rose to Brit as a presumable sign of good faith.

Brit took the rose and wrapped his arms around Bly in return, now caving in to his loneliness after so long and beginning to sob hard onto Blu's shoulder whilst unable to speak through his heavy and rapid breathing.

The two knelt there in the sandy wasteland, holding each other tightly in their arms, sealing Blu's forgiveness of Brit and signalling the start of a new and beautiful relationship.
