I highly doubted whether Giancarlo would be able to sleep tonight, exhausted by sex or otherwise, with the prospect of meeting these new creatures. But I don't think nor I really cared that much. I would have had serious trouble in the week running up to my heading to Central for the first time had I not been immersed in work, and Giancarlo didn't have that exhausting work that I did.

Giancarlo, while never having had oral sex before, appeared pretty comfortable with this fashion of intercourse, he was completely into the swing of it, rising and falling deeply on my cock allegro con brio. His hands gripped my shoulders tight as he felt the cock go deeply on him, moaning at the touch. Just as well I wasn't in bionic form right now, he would have cut himself at the rate he was going.

I was not complaining, I didn't have to exert myself. Giancarlo was quite firm about that, making sure that I was not allowed to partake in any work during this round. For one who claimed to be exceptionally submissive, I felt he was actually slightly dominant, or maybe that was just him being a slave to his master.Geez, people did find me masterly. We have Gareth, who was the first, he wanted to be my lover, end of it.Doran wasn't quite as open about it, but he liked my company, as was Alecto. I was in charge of Ryan Lewis, although we weren't into the master slave relationship, and now Giancarlo. What would Gareth think of this Avian? Hell, what would everyone think of this avian?

These thoughts flickered past my mind all through our intercourse. Giancarlo began falling more heavily as he was near exhaustion from this, and I was coming to a steady climax. The avian appeared to have little stamina, but that's what you get from a pen pusher job, and it wouldn't take much to get him ready for the endurance of the Hunt.Giancarlo in this form was quite muscular, and he was strong, he just couldn't run a hundred metres at full tilt without being out of breath. This I vowed to rectify.

But this was all lost as I came to ejaculation. Giancarlo must have heaved a sigh of relief as I gave a cry of delight and came deep into his ass. My load filled him up , and he slumped down on me in a state of expiration.

"I think a five mile run is required here." Giancarlo wheezed, he knew he was unfit too.

"Don't worry, as a scout you'll get all the running you could want. We do have tread mills at Central, and you'll quickly pick up speed after a few planet falls.I can run in full kit for a good mile before I get tired."

"Does that include rocket launcher and bag?" Giancarlo smiled panting, his head on my shoulder as he withdrew and lay on me. His ass spilled liquid only to be washed away by the hot water.I delicately placed a finger in him and gently probed his ass, loosening it and leaking more semen.

"It does, Giancarlo, and that rocket launcher is not light. It's ammunition isn't exactly feathers either."The damn thing weighed a good fifteen kilograms, and the rounds a kilo or two each. But that was the price I had to pay for carrying something like that around.

Giancarlo sighed as I fingered his ass a bit more.

"You are so skilled at this, master." he said it with utter servitude.

"I have been on Central for one and a half years, and everyone there enjoys a good shag every now and then." I replied, removing my finger and coaxing him to get off me. Dripping wet, I stepped out of the shower, and grabbed a towel from the rail. The floor in the three room flat was varying, the dining room/kitchen and bedroom were all short carpet, here it was tile. Giancarlo looked absolutely drenched, feathers always did look quite wet when they were, like fur.

"Giancarlo, just stay there, I'll dry you down."I said, coming over to him with the towel. The avian reacted by standing limply, his cock drooping after the excitement.

"Giancarlo, one question, can you change from being male to female?"

"No. I can give myself female organs, and protruding breasts, but I can't get rid of the cock. We are shape shifters, not gender changers." There was a crack, and the avian was still standing there, but he stretched his legs showing a vagina and ass. Good grief, instant hermaphrodite.

"That's something I'd like to be able to do." I looked at the avian's new genitalia.

"You are my master, you can do me as much as you want." the avian replied, and I blushed as I realised we were speaking on different frequencies. He blushed even deeper than me at my embarrassment, and I explained what I really meant, but then began vigorously drying him down.I started from the top, working down.I stood behind him, and he lifted his arms when I told him.I drew my handcuffs out, and ordered both hands behind his back, which he instantly complied.

I snapped his hands in the cuffs, and he turned in surprise, trying to free himself.

"Master, why? Please, let me out of these."

"After I've finished doing this, we're going to bed to enjoy you."

"Enjoy me?" the avian echoed,"Don't hurt me, please."

"I won't, I just want to get you off a couple of times, and then do the same myself."

"Oh." the avian looked confused,"So why bondage me?"

"Because I don't want you trying to fend me off each round."

"I wouldn't." the avian implored,"I want you to fuck me until I'm spilling all three ways."

Strange terminology, reminded me of certain friends of mine underneath a love potion, but it sounded exactly what I had in mind. Keen laughed at this too.

"He appears to like you."

"Indeed, Keen."I thought back.

"And yes, I agree with you, after tomorrow we should unmerge."

"When did I think that?"

"Earlier, you didn't want me having to live your life, so we will part tomorrow night."

"Very well, Keen. Will you want to merge again?"

"Yes, although it will be almost as painful every time. But now we know, I'm sure we can arrange it to happen again."

The glower relapsed into silence as I finished drying the avian, and then led him to his bedroom. He lay back on his back and cuffed hands, spreading his legs in anticipation, and I have yet to deny someone doing that voluntarily. I made a gentle dive on top of him, and thrust deep into his vagina, still not in bionic form. Giancarlo stiffened as I fucked him, and he moaned.

Giancarlo slept well after I had knocked him out, and while I tried to sleep, I found it impossible, and I went over to the window, looking into the street. I sat on the window sill, the glower removing my need for tiredness, so I was one hundred percent alert. The street was fairly quiet, I saw a bicycle going down the road by itself, and a sleek tank going the other way. It had two barrels, and it's rumbling engine made a bit of noise, but it was very black. The blimp passed overhead, and several birds were flying around. One landed next to me, it was a small bird, like a fantail, but it's colours were blue and black.

"Giancarlo, is this a new form?"

"No." I shook my head, smiling and looking at the bird with a smile."I am one of Giancarlo's friends. My name is Alduin."

"Where is Giancarlo right now?" the bird asked, and he flew up onto my shoulder, looking into the room. I pointed at the bedroom, and I heard the bird fly in, and then flew back.

"So why aren't you sleeping?"

"I am not weary. I would ask the same of you, it is very late."

"I noticed a lot of movement about. I thought I would investigate. Did you hear the news, by the way?"

"What news is this?"

"Apparently there are creatures about on this planet. One of the bushes told me about these creatures that teleported in, and could not change form."

You have got to be kidding.

"Oh, is it so? Any idea where they are?"

"I've seen one. A fox that carries a great staff weapon, and a bow of some kind on his back. He was walking with a creature that changes constantly, but from what I heard, he wasn't from our planet either."

Orion and Polymorph. These metamorphs got everywhere. One of the bushes I threw the scanner into must have been a metamorph, and had thus seen the arrival of the others.

"That is very interesting. You say that couldn't change form?"

"No. Apparently they spoke about it being easy to blend, because there were so many different creatures here. And the fox I saw hasn't changed once."

"So what are you doing about it?"

"Well, it's kind of difficult. There is one way of telling, the DNA is different, so...you're not a guardian, why am I telling you?"

I shrugged."I don't know. I am a very tactful and friendly person, perhaps?"

The bird glared at me."Change your form now."

"How impolite." I challenged, but nevertheless changed into my F-22 Raptor. The jet engine that pushed me into the air sent a maelstrom of currents in the room, but Giancarlo wouldn't wake up. The bird hunkered down, trying to stop being blown away by the blasts of hot air, and I changed back into my bionic form.

"Satisfied?" I asked coldly, and the bird looked away.

"You are right. I shouldn't have been so suspicious. Just, the idea of these creatures about is worrying. I mean, they don't seem to mean harm, but no one knows, and they can blend in so well."

And I was twice as scary, because I could change my form a bit, but they wouldn't be aware. The bird spoke.

"Sorry, Alduin. Tell Giancarlo I dropped in, and said hi." he hopped from the windowsill, and flew off into the night. My glare followed him, and then I resumed my vigilance looking out the window.

"Is there anyone awake?" I spoke into my headset, watching around me for the smallest movement.

"I am, Alduin." Silverine spoke into my headset.

"Don't you ever sleep?"

"No, why?"

"Never mind. Look, we have a problem. One of the bushes heard about us, and there are several guardians about trying to locate one of us. Orion has already been spotted with Polymorph, and I don't think they like us. It's not that we're evil, just they don't know why we're here."

"Alduin, did you say a bush heard us?"

"I threw the scanner into some foliage, apparently one of the bushes was a metamorpher. I should have thought on that, we've got lights, blimps, tanks, even a god damn tapestry, I think even the bushes and masonry could be a cunning disguise."

"So we should meet somewhere else?"

"We should meet in the park, but we should not cause much attention to ourselves. I don't like the sound of the guardians. They are friendly creatures, these metamorphs, but they are scared."

"Can you blame us, you aren't what we are." a gargoyle said from a ledge five metres away.

"I didn't invite you to say anything." I scowled, having fallen for it again. Man these things DID get everywhere.

"I'm sorry, you're trying to talk about us behind our back.Nice trick, being able to change form and still be an alien."

"That isn't my fault. We are trying to go a simple recon job of what the population is like."

The gargoyle turned, and stared at me minutely."Not very intelligent, are you?"

"I was not prepared for it. I thought about many forms, but I didn't think plants would be popular, neither rock formations on the side of a building." I said sharply.

"Well, sorry for breathing."

"Sorry for listening in would be politer."I replied viper speed,"We go back home tomorrow, and Giancarlo is coming to explore with us.And if the population doesn't like us, that's too damn bad luck."

"Now that's being a little critical of us." the gargoyle objected, it's menacing face trying to be a bit more reasonable," It's not that we don't like the idea, just that we have no idea of your plans and character. You come heavily armed..."

"The last place tried to kill me." I interrupted.

"You come in secrecy..." the gargoyle tried.

"The demons tried to cinder us, the humans tried to kill us with guns, we've all had near death experiences with locals." I shot back.

"Alduin..." the gargoyle began.

"And I did not ask to be judged by any local because of what I do. If the universe was nicer to me, I'd be a lot nicer to everyone else.I wouldn't mind walking down the street heralded as an alien, providing I wasn't flamed at, blown up, shot at, beaten, attempted murder, raped, or otherwise abused while doing so."

"You don't have a nice job, do you?" the gargoyle asked.

"It has it's moments, very good ones. But we prefer stealth to hanging from a noose or trained on with rifles."

"So why is Giancarlo going back with you?"

"He is interested. He has the spark of interest. He could be an explorer with us,we're offering it to him. Now if you are able to get sleep, please do so. I need to think, and talk, alone."

The gargoyle shrugged, and faced it's usual position.

"Silverine,"I spoke back into the mike,"You still there?"

"Still waiting, what happened?"

"Even the masonry knows about us."

There was a heavy sigh." I really feel nervous now. Paranoid about what could be, and might not."

"I know the feeling." I replied, staring at a bouncing rubber ball jogging down the street.I meant one of those big rainbow coloured ones the size of a computer screen, and it's was casually bouncing down the street. Mental.

Silverine signed off, and I sat on the window sill, brooding. One leg dangled over the balcony, and I thought about what I had been told. These guardians, how would they know the difference, did they special devices that told them who was a real metamorph? If so, what was their intention with us? We would have to see. Keen consoled me.

"I wouldn't feel so bad. We are learning in previously unknown territory. You are intelligent, and sensible, and you have me. You can use my powers like you did in the bar, to cause as little harm to others as possible."

"Did you like that?"I asked," I thought it was a neat way of dealing with them."

"You had done the sleep trick before, the hole was clever. But with my power and your skill, you have no need to fear these guardians. They want to know more, but they do not understand, like we don't understand them. This happens all the time of foreign planets, it is through a lack of understanding, and fear of the unknown."

"I know, I just wish it could be easier, and that we could get on without all the fuss."

"I believe someone in your race once came up to an answer to that."

"Really, what was the answer?"

"Forty two." the glower said, and I broke into laughter. To have my own favourite texts quoted back at me, that was not nice. I wheezed in laughter, holding onto the window sill for support, and managed to speak.

"The Ultimate Answer, glower, for which there is no question. They argued that later on, that there cannot be both, only one or the other. I suppose universal peace is a question that needs an impossible answer."

"Have you ever heard someone discuss universal peace?"

"Only once. In the X-Files.The main character wanted peace for the earth as a wish from a genie, and when he left his room found everyone had vanished. The genie said it would be a lot easier to get rid of everyone, rather than mess with the conscience of six point three billion people."

I sat on the window sill, the gargoyle not five yards away occasionally turning to look at me. I closed my eyes, and began to change my forms. I woke five hours later with my usual Raptor and a new car, the vintage AC Cobra, a lovely car from the sixties. It wasn't particularly fast or stunning in handling, but it did look very nice, and went well.It was tyre blistering quick at acceleration, none to sixty miles in its day was 4.8 seconds. In the Sixties! It was less intrusive than my Rage buggy, an while I was debating on various supercars, I decided against them.

The gargoyle had not moved, and I noticed that as the sun rose, the gargoyle was actually made of a white marble. I smiled, and stretched in the dawn light.

"Good morning to you." I said, and the gargoyle rolled his eyes. I went inside, and woke Giancarlo. The avian had slept seraphically, and he was awake pretty quickly.

"Alduin, what time is it?"

"Still early, but nothing like an early start. Come on."

He got dressed and groomed, which on an avian takes about ten minutes while they preen their feathers. I walked down into the street, and changed into my AC Cobra. The '67 car looked stunning in the early light, and it's dark blue was a good choice of colour, it went well with the twin metal grey stripes running down the car. Giancarlo arrived five minutes later, and examined me.

"You were not that form yesterday." he said.

"I can change forms, but it takes me six hours to do so." I replied, and fired up the engine. The harsh engine note. The Ford V8 block snarled, and the 427CID Shelby trembled. Giancarlo smiled, and changed form with a crack. There, next to me, was an identical Cobra, except this one was a dark red with black stripes.

"O.K., first one to the park." Giancarlo laughed, starting his own engine.

Sixteen cylinders, 690 untuned bhp between us, we made all those nearby look as our dual engine notes rose. I knew the perfect rev for take off, and as Giancarlo shouted go, we took off. I gained the lead, being in the perfect power band was better than simply flooring it. The Cobra only had four gears, and a top speed of two hundred and twenty nine kph, reduced to over 190 for our smaller versions. Giancarlo chased my tail, and I gained about ten yards going into the left hand corner.

These things could turn. I almost two wheeled it as I went through the corner, but at least I kept it straight with only a slight tail whip. Giancarlo went into massive oversteer mode, and skidded almost into the footpath pluming white smoke.

"It looks good, Gian, but it isn't fast!" I called back, as I gained distance quickly. I got to the park and went onto the footpath, driving along the gravel towards the toilets I had first arrived in. Giancarlo was a good forty metres behind me, and I bumped my way over the rough gravel. I crossed the imaginary finish line, and skidded to a halt in a cloud of dirt and dust, completely obliterating my view of the town and the town's view of me.

Silverine spoke." I like it."

I used my thermo and spotted him on the roof of the toilets, the Lupogriff grinning at me. I dropped it immediately, and spoke through the cloud of dust.

"I guess that's a raging Lupogriff. Where did you sleep?"

"Oh, abouts. What is it?"

"Shelby AC Cobra." I replied, as the dust settled, and Giancarlo came zipping towards me. He slowed down less dramatically, and came to a gentle halt next to me.

"I think, "the metamorph began," that I should visit your planet to get ideas for vehicles."

"You are most certainly welcome to." I replied, changing into my human form. Giancarlo changed into a six foot squirrel, not dissimilar to our one time prisoner, Casdey. He stood and looked up at Silverine, spotting him on the roof.

"Err, Alduin, is that one of your friends?"

"That's the leader of our entire outfit. Giancarlo, meet Silverine Defries, Silverine, meet Giancarlo."

Silverine vaulted the building, landing right in front of the squirrel, who changed smoothly back into his avian form.Giancarlo looked slightly scared of the Lupogriff.

Now for me, this was an interesting sight. Giancarlo was a metamorph, and they changed forms frequently, never truly knowing one form, so while they could fight they wouldn't beat an exactly similar real version because of the unfamiliarity of arms, legs, tentacles etc. A Giancarlo dragon would lose to Brendan, because Brendan was used to being a dragon. So the metamorph with his multi forms, standing in front of Silverine.Silverine was the exact opposite, single form, honed for years upon years until his body was the peak of physical perfection.

I think Giancarlo knew all about the first idea, and looking upon Silverine I think he quickly learnt the second. He gave a short bow, and spoke.

"Greetings, Silverine." Silverine gave a short nod of deference to the metamorph.

"You metamorphic creatures frequently intrigue me."

I heard a voice. It was a quiet voice, talking to himself, but I could hear it.

"I knew it, the wolf being is..." he got absolutely no further.

Silverine drew his sniper rifle in one fluid motion, aimed and fired within two seconds. Giancarlo dived for the ground, and admittedly I grabbed my rifle, looking for any hostility. There was an explosion of foliage, a loud oath of surprise which I won't print, and a spotted leopard like creature fell from his perch just underneath where Silverine had fired, and landed next to me at a funny angle.

"Ow." he muttered into the ground, and I bent down and helped the leopard to his feet. Silverine had his rifle pointing down, but loaded, and Giancarlo had gotten back up and taken three hasty steps away from the Lupogriff. The leopard was reasonably heavy, so I put one arm around the back of my neck and onto the shoulder, and lifted him up. He wasn't bleeding, the shot had been deliberately aimed to miss.

Silverine looked at the leopard as it opened his eyes.

"You wish to say something about my race?"

The leopard looked at me holding him in a standing position with a look of gratitude, and then looked at Silverine. He looked scared but defiant.

"What are you?"

"I am Silverine, I am not of your race, but on an exploration mission here from another star system. These two gentlemen I happened to come across as suitable for our job."

Giancarlo looked quickly at me as Silverine uttered this lie, but I gave no indication of having seen it. The leopard placed more weight on me as he tried to stand more firmly.

"Well, Silverine, the guardians are aware of your presence. You would be wise to follow me to the building where they work."

"I am not staying long, I have no wish to be dealt with by any local law enforcement. The only thing that matters is speed. End discussion."

Giancarlo came over to me, and the leopard tried to argue.

"How long you intend to be here is immaterial, Silverine...."

"I said, end." the Lupogriff growled, but the leopard wasn't going to back down.

"Silverine, you cannot tell me what...."

Silverine moved very fast. With a flash of movement, he was standing right in front of the three of us, one large clawed finger pressed against the leopard's throat.

"My office back on Central is sufficiently furnished, but if you say one more word you will be a part of it." The leopard stumbled backwards into me, and I took hold of him and stood in front of him, facing Silverine.

"Silverine, please do not threaten my fellows. I will discuss this with him."

"I am not to be told what to do, Alduin Raptormaster." He swapped into Central," Very well manoeuvred, Alduin." he turned and stalked away, standing next to the toilets with his rifle shouldered and his arms folded, staring at the three of us with a burning gaze.

I led the leopard and Giancarlo through the bushes. Giancarlo was silent, and the leopard dropped down on his hands and knees after getting deep enough in the foliage.

"He, he just...." the leopard took several deep breaths, while I gently rubbed his back, consoling him.

"Silverine is a scary creature, friend. He does not like being told to do anything, people learn that quickly."

I got down and got a side-on of the leopard's face. He was crying, and trembling.

"Now you run along and tell the guardians about him, but make a suggestion. He is a valuable friend, and a dangerous foe, let's try and befriend him."

"What about the others? There are others amongst the city not of our race."

"They are his companions in their job. We have been offered by them to work with them, and we agreed. I hear they are meeting at the toilets before travelling home. Maybe we should send one guardian to politely make conversation with them."

"I couldn't." the leopard looked at me, tears matting his fur," The way he looked at me, he would kill me."

"You tried to argue with him, he is liable to angry behaviour and threats."

"How can you contemplate working with him? He acts so vicious." the leopard asked.

"Would you like to retract that before I come over there?" Silverine shouted, and the leopard grabbed me.

"Don't let him hurt me!" he hid behind me and looked through the bushes towards the building.

"His hearing is razor sharp, as well." I said off hand, Giancarlo was hiding behind a tree, looking towards the bushes hiding the toilets.

"Alduin, isn't it?" the guardian asked me," I'm Clover. That's not my real name, but my guardian name, before you ask."

" Nice to meet you, Clover. Now, you go get a couple of friends, and we'll try to approach him and his group differently." I gently slapped him on the back, encouragingly, and Clover wiped a few idle tears, nodded, and changed. Suddenly there was a leopard spotted two foot tall vehicle. Clover drove through the bushes quickly, and was gone.

"You lied to me!" Giancarlo demanded as he had.

"I lied to him, in front of Silverine. I am one of Silverine's group, but would you rather talk to him, or to me?"

"So, you just brought the guardians on your own group?"

"I brought the guardians here on my own suggestion that they would get a better reaction from us if they came palms open rather than trying to force us."

"I see." Giancarlo sat down next to me," Alduin, he scares me."

I raised an eyebrow at Giancarlo."Are you kidding me? He scares everyone at Central! Except the glowers, who run the place. He scares me, you, all of the people I work with, but he is gentle some of the time. He knows how intimidating he can be, and uses it when it suits him. Which is most of the time."

"He's a good actor." Giancarlo said.

"Who said anything about me acting?"Silverine called."I meant it."

Giancarlo whimpered.I looked at him, grinned and shook my head. Silverine may say that sort of thing but he wouldn't carry it out.

"He threatens a couple of us like that occasionally. Does it to me often on account of the fact I don't do what I'm supposed to. I just laugh, and he just rolls his eyes." I whispered. Giancarlo looked at me.

"Whether he would or not, he terrifies me."

"Hey, be glad. At least he hasn't challenged you to a physical fight or tried to fuck you."

Giancarlo looked at the bushes and then back at me.Then he whispered even quieter.

"He fucks people?"

"He's one of the most sexually rapacious among us." I replied at his level. Giancarlo shivered.

"Please don't let him do that to me."

"He does it to everyone, and he hasn't killed anyone during sex.It might hurt because it's a lot faster than you expect, but having sex with him isn't fatal."

"How do you know?"

"Because I'm regularly fucked by him, that's how."

"And Alduin would know." Silverine walked through the bushes and stood in front of the metamorph. Giancarlo got back up and backed further. I stood and nodded at Silverine.

"So when are the others arriving, Silverine?"

"When ever they do." the Lupogriff shrugged.

I opened my com link. "Where is everyone? Please don't all answer at once."

Draco spoke." I'm currently on top of the blimp, having conversation with him, and running scans."

"Helicopter, two miles from your position and closing." That would have been Simba.

One by one the Centralites reported their positions, and Silverine spoke in Centralite.

"O.K., here's the picture. The guardians know we are here, and they know what we aren't. Alduin has made it look as though he's one of them, thanks to his form abilities..."

"He seems to have a knack with that." Draco interrupted.

"And while they are coming back with reinforcements, I believe they intend to try peaceful methods before they attack us."

"That's a relief." Simba commented.

"Our meeting time is half an hour from now in the bushes we are currently in." Silverine drew a scanner, and hammered it into the ground. Then he took off and vanished into the foliage. Giancarlo spoke to me.

"What do we now?" he asked.

"Now? We wait." I replied.
