"Musician's in my country used to say they got inspired by the trips they were on when doing purple", James said
"Maybe we should form our own band", Kuhlman said, taking another puff.
"That's crazy", James said, taking another puff
"I think it would be fun", Kuhlman said
The two stopped talking as they became more and more mesmerized by the purple haze and the music. When they had used up their joints, they put them out in the ash tray and left them there. Not too long after that, they fell asleep. The next morning, Max and Lucius woke up and looked into each other's eyes.
"You were amazing last night", Lucius said to Max
"So were you", Max said
The two kissed each other passionately. Then Kuhlman woke up and said, "You two make a cute couple."
"That's very nice of you to say that", Max said
"Thanks", Lucius said
"You're welcome dudes", Kuhlman replied.
James then woke up and said, "I had the worst trip last night."
"What happened", Max asked
"I saw you and Lucius yiffing while Kuhlman was jerking off to it. Oh the things you see when you're on drugs. You two would never yiff in real life", James said
"Actually, we did yiff", Lucius said
"You're joking right", James said, laughing
"Nope we really did have sex last night", Max said

Max frowned, but it was Lucius who was hurt the most by James' words. James was his best friend after all and not having his best friend's approval really sucked. The wolf sighed and looked down at the ground with a frown on his face.

Lucius wasn't convinced, however, and continued to be upset. Kuhlman was going to say something but he decided to keep his mouth shut.
"James is just being a hater. How about we go back to my place? I think I know how to cheer you up", Max said
"Okay", Lucius said, holding Max's hand.
The two left Kuhlman's in Max's plane while James went home alone in a plane provided by Kuhlman because Lucius had ordered his plane to return to Densville without either him or James. And so concludes the dope party.
