#2 of A romance in the countryside

SECOND CHAPTER! Warning, this contains material of a homosexual nature, bla, bla, bla if you can't view this stuff, get lost before I wish cancer upon you. Or gain fast enough reflexes to hide the web page from any prying eyes. For the rest of you, read on... Oh, and the [] means he's thinking.

I know what you're thinking. One of, no THE hottest guy on the planet saves me from the local homophobic son of a bitch and wants to be my friend and I'm wishing to be beaten up? Well, one thing about me is that I'm one of those gay guys who has absolutely no control over my hormones. Which means whenever I'm speaking to Alex, I'm gonna have to avoid looking at his body to make sure I didn't spring a boner in front of him.

This was going to be interesting to say the least.

And so there we were, walking down the street, talking about everything and nothing.

By now, the drizzle had died down and coincidentally enough, the sun was poking through the grey clouds, it's rays shining down on Alex, making the cheetah seem as if he was glowing. I had to be careful not to stare at him as we walked. We were having some pretty interesting conversations. It turns out, Alex and I had much in common. We barracked for the same footy team, we both preferred peace and quiet, hell we were even crazy about the same music artist.

To put it simply, within 5 minutes, we were the best of friends.

Seeing as he was new in town, I showed him around, showing him the shops, the local fancy restaurant, the video shop, the small but beautiful open concert hall and camping ground at the end of the street. By this time, the sun was fully out of the clouds and spreading it's glorious rays on the town. Alex and I had grabbed a drink from the local deli and decided to take the scenic route back through the park, although scenic was an understatement.

The main path that went through it was lined with with gum trees, shedding loose leaves on the cool winter's breeze. The sun filtered it's light through the overlapping canopy of branches, casting shadows that danced across the ground whenever the tress swayed in the wind. And it was so quiet, even though the road was just a few pawsteps away.

It was like we had entered another world.

Alex was marvelling at our surroundings.

"Wow... now I'm glad my parents moved here. It's so beautiful."

"I guess it is. So why'd your parents move here?"

"Ah, they wanted a change of pace. They were tired of the city life so we bought a place out near balingup, packed our bags and moved in. Of course winding down is the exact opposite of what they're doing right now."

"What do you mean?"

Alex suddenly looked downcast.

"They... still had some stuff to sort out in Perth so they dumped me here and raced back."

"Nice." I said sarcastically. He laughed. God, I could not get enough of that sound. I just had to smile. Of course I was left gobsmacked at what my uncontrollable mouth uttered next.

"So seeing as you don't have anything better to do, do you wanna come hang out at my house?"

[Vince you idiot! What the hell made you think that he'd want to hang out with you at your house? He'll never agree.]

"Sure. Sounds like fun!"

[But I have been wrong before...]

"Awesome! Let's go then."

And so we did. And all the way, I found myself sneaking glances at him...

We strolled through the open rusty gate, up the brick pathway lined with blooming flowers (My Grandad had a bit of a green thumb) and up to the front door.

"Aren't your parents gonna mind me being around?"

I stiffened at the mention of my parents, but not enough for the cheetah to notice.

"Oh I live with my grandad and don't worry, he won't mind."

I retrieved the spare key from under the mat, unlocked the door and stepped inside.

"Hey Grandad, I'm back!"

"In here mate."

His voice had come from the lounge room. We went in to find him kicking back on the couch warching some game show. He grinned as we walked in.

"Oh hello, who's this?"

"Grandad, Alex. Alex, Grandad."

"Hey hey."

Alex gave a little wave.

"How long have you been in Nannup Alex?"

"Am I really that obvious?"

"The clothes just scream Myer."

We all laughed.

"Here guys, come take a seat."

Grandad made room on the couch and we parked our bums. Alex then went on to tell Grandad a little about himself. I'd heard most of this already but I certainly didn't mind hearing it again. He didn't say anything about what happened with Justin. He must have got the impression that I didn't want Grandad to know about that, which I didn't. Alex also skirted around the subject of his parents.

"...So, he starts running down the hill until he can't stop. He leaps over this log but there was a ditch hidden behind it. He rolls into the ditch and then full on faceplants in a cactus!"

And then we all crapped ourselves laughing. Alex was telling us a funny story from when he had gone on a camp at his old school last year.

"Oh that would have been priceless!"

Grandad wiped a tear from his eye and looked at his watch.

"My God, it's 5:00 already."

Sure enough, I looked out the window and there was the setting sun. The three of us had just spent the whole day talking about stuff. Amazing how time can fly.

"Well yound Alex, I was thinking me and Vince could go out to dinner at Wilma's. Do you wanna join us?"

"Sounds like fun."

Alex looked at himself for a moment.

"Uh, I'll have to get changed though. When are you going?"

"Whenever you're ready."

"Cool. I'll run and get changed. See ya in a bit Vinnie!"

Chuckled at my new nickname and waved as he jogged out the door.

"Later Alex."

The door swung shut behind him.

"So are you gonna get changed too."

"Yeah."

"Then at least have a shower."

"Heh. I will."

I stood up and headed upstairs to the bathroom. I turned the water on, stripped out of my clothes and stepped into the water. My God, I was in heaven. Then I suddenly realized I hadn't taken my glasses off! Hastily, I placed them on the sink. And as I did, I felt a familiar sensation in my lower regions.

[Ah what the hell.]

I leaned against the shower wall, gently fondling my balls to coax out my 7-incher (Yes I measured!) I started murring softly. This wasn't something I indulged in very often, but I enjoyed it immensely. Eventually, My foxhood stood rock-hard, waiting for my attention. I wasted no more time, wrapping my paw around my member andslowly stroking to an invisible rythem. I tilted my head back and moaned. I had forgotten how good this felt. I moved my free paw to play with one of my nipples. These were definatly one of my weak spots. Whenever something brushed against them, it sent shivers down my spine. Moaning even louder, I unintentionally sped up, my tail beating rapidly against the tiles. My climax was fast approaching. Then from outta nowhere, I started thinking of Alex: of how he would look naked. It was that image alone that sent me over the edge. Grunting, I climaxed, my seed exploding onto the shower curtain and washing away into the drain. I was on complete cloud nine, spots dancing before my yes. I licked off the cum that had dribbled onto my paw (again, something that I didn't indulge in often) It had a salty tang to it. I sort of washed my fur in a daze. [Why did I suddenly think of Alex? Could it mean?... No, impossible. I only met the guy today!] Try as I did to convince myself otherwise, I found myself gushing over the Cheetah. How he made me laugh, how he was so kind and caring. How he had a diamond shattering smile and how he managed to look cute and handsome at the same time. I kept thinking about him as I showered but nothing dirty. At last I got out and dried off. I had washed my fur at least 3 times, making fur almost glow in the dark. I went to my room and picked out a Black dress shirt and slacks, with leather shoes and a brown belt. Feeling that I was ready, I went back downstairs to wait for Alex. The sun was now barely peeking over the horizon. I found Grandad waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs. He grinned as I walked over."Man, you lucky it's the holidays or you'd be fending off girls left and right."

I blushed. Yeah, my Grandad doesn't know I'm gay. And he never will.

Knock, Knock.

I reached for the door but Grandad beat me to it. Knowing who it was, I was about to say hi but what I saw stopped me in mid-sentence.

There stood Alex dressed in green slip-ons, olive cargo pants and a black T-shirt that had 'diesel' printed across the front. He had changed his earrings to sleepers that I think had real gemstones in them. And around his tail was a thick silver ring that left me wondering how it could carry the weight.

[And I thought he looked stunning before...]

"Hey Vinnie."

"Er, hey."

I smiled at him.

"So as long as we're ready-" Grandad whipped out a set of keys- "I'm driving!"

We all piled down to a bloody great big 4wd parked in the driveway. It was only a 1 minute drive to our destination. Wilma's was the fancy restaurant I was talking about before. A large metal and wood structure, it looked very out of place among the old buildings of the main street. Grandad pulled up and parked out the front, turning the car off. There was a strange noise emanating from inside the place. The sound somehow turned into a tone deaf moose singing what I think was a Bob Dylan song.

[Oh God...]

I had forgotten it was karaoke night. Half of the town could NOT sing, so when we came here, I always brought my ipod. And of course tonight I had forgotten it.

[Damnit! Well there goes my hearing.]

Thankfully, the moose finished as we sat down and went back to his seat with almost no applause. Grandad pulled out his wallet.

"You two want a drink?"

"Just a coke thanks Grandad."

"Same here."

Grandad went over to the bar.

"So Vinnie, are you going to sing?"

That question caught me off guard.

"Um...n-no..."

"Oh come on!"

It was then that Grandad came back with two cokes and a vodka.

"Forget it mate, I've been trying to get him up there for ages."

"I'm going to try and sit here and not go deaf if you don't mind."

I said to them and proceeded to retrieve a napkin and pencil from a nearby table. I'm something of an amateur artist. Anything Fantasy, Sci-fi or anime I have drawn or tried to. I sort of withdrew into my own world while I was drawing, though I was still aware of everything around me. I know Grandad went up and did a few numbers. And he had a pretty good voice. By the time he was finished, a bear at the bar, who was most likely drunk was yelling "encore", Alex was clapping and whistling for him and some women in the corner were swooning over him. I had to chuckle at that. Pretty soon, the next singer was up. I didn't bother seeing who it was. Then the introduction began

[Oh my God, they're singing my favorite song! Guh, I'll bet they'll bloody...]

I couldn't finish my scathing thought when I looked up and saw who it was.

[HOLY SHIT!]

It was Alex!

The 1st verse began.

"Spend all your time waiting,

for that second chance,

for a break that will make it ok.

There's always some reason,

to feel not good enough,

and it's hard at the end of the day.

I need some distraction,

oh beautiful release.

Memories seep from my veins.

Let me be empty,

oh weightless and maybe,

I'll find some peace tonight."

I couldn't believe my ears. The cheetah had the most beautiful voice I had ever heard! His turquoise eyes locked with my ice blue ones and suddenly everything around us melted away. And there was only me and Alex, the Cheetah crooning softly to just me, making me feel completely at peace. I started singing along with him.

"In the arms of the angel,

fly away from here.

From this dark cold hotel room,

and the endlessness that you fear.

You are pulled from the wreckage,

of your silent reverie.

You're in the arms of the angel,

may you find some comfort here."

"So tired of the straight line,

and everywhere you turn,

there's vultures and thieves at your back.

The storm keeps on twisting,

you keep on building the lies,

that you make for all that you lack.

It don't make no difference,

escaping one last time.

I's easier to believe,

in this sweet madness,

oh this glorious sadness,

that brings me to my knees."

"In the arms of the angel,

fly away from here.

From this dark cold hotel room,

and the endlessness that you fear.

You are pulled from the wreckage,

of your silent reverie.

You're in the arms of th angel,

may you find some comfort here."

"You're in the arms of the angel,

may you find some comfort here."

Once the music finished, then sounded out the biggest applause I had ever heard. The cheetah got a standing ovation! Grandad even shouted for an encore. I would have been clapping as well, had at that moment I had not reached a truly amazing conclusion. I was undoubtably attracted to Alex. My head was saying that I was so deprived of friendship that I was just wishfully thinking, but my heart said...

my heart said...

I was falling deeply in love with Alex.

And there you go! The song was Angel by Sarah Mchlachlan. My personal favorite. Hope you liked this chapter! :)
