Dracko placed both paws on the small jewel he hid in his pocket. He released the jewel and allowed it to levitate in the air. It began to expand in a bright white light, quickly dimming down afterwards. An arc was formed of the light, creating a portal to another world. Inside of the arc was a well lit room that looked well kept. "Here it is you two, now if you would please pass through the arc, I can start showing you around the facility we call home." Dracko said with enthusiasm. Junior and Maria excitedly walked through the arc with Emily and Jack right behind them. Dracko followed last with the arc closing right behind him. They were now finally in the Spectacle Country-Auroros.********************************************I looked around the room I was in. There were furs walking here and there. Some were chatting, while some were planning. I've never seen anything like this before. It felt like my life was starting over. Maria followed Jack as that was their agreement. I turned my head towards Dracko, who was explaining something to some furs. I felt a paw land on my shoulder, making me jump at the touch. I turned my head yet again to find a fur inspecting my neck. She looked as though she was a wolf, with gray fur covering what was visible from her oversized lab coat. "Say 'ahhhh' for me please." Her voice quite soothing. I did as I was asked. If I knew one thing, it was not to mess with anyone wearing some kind of lab coat, as I saw with Dracko and Jack. She took a look in my mouth for reasons beyond me, and began to jot stuff down on a clipboard she held in her other paw. But instead of letting me go to write something down, an odd crimson shadow began to creep up her arm. It dove into her pocket, pulling out a pen, and began writing for her. It definitely caught my attention, but not so much to interrupt the wolf. From the pass three days, I've met furs, saw a spirit, and was attacked by monsters. Seeing new weird stuff was starting to feel normal. "Please follow me to my room, I'll be able to produce more accurate results in a more controllable environment." Her vocabulary almost like that of a machine. I followed her out of the large room into a hallway. There were even more furs than before, some had uniforms on while others were dressed in armor. I kept close to the wolf, as I did not want to get lost in this bustling place. We passed by many types of rooms and facilities, eventually reaching her room. "Umm, might I ask what your name is, please?" I asked."I never had a name, but he calls me Justice." She said while opening a door. "Who calls you by that name?" She held out her paw, allowing the crimson shadow to creep up and rest on her paw. It formed into a flat circle with two small eyes slowly revealing itself. The crimson shadow began to rise up into a snake like form. It looked silly with its tongue sticking out, but
a second glance revealed its hidden fangs. "What is that?" I asked with curiosity."His name is Meekly. He's very obedient, but sometimes, he'll do something at his own will.""Can it talk?""No, not to others of course. For some reason, he can only communicate with me. But that doesn't seem to hinder my comrades, so I haven't researched any further." Justice explained. "But that's enough of us, I need to gather as much information on you as possible. There are also a series of questions I need to ask of you as well.""Uhh, okay. But before you do that, I need to know something.""Go on""Are you gonna dissect me after your research?" I said with a worried look. She shook her head, and I let out a sigh of relief."Unless you want to be." She added. I stepped back a little from her, inching closer to the door. "Calm down, it was just a joke." She said playfully, "Now let us begin the examination." I relaxed a little, and sat down next to her at a large desk with papers spread around. I wrote down a basic description on a few papers while simultaneously answering her questions. It took a whole hour to finish Justices paperwork, but when I did, I felt like her demands were getting a little out of hand. "Okay Junior, I need to begin the physical examination to truly determine whether or not you can truly join the ranks of this army.""Okay, so do I need to run through obstacles and stuff like that?""No, your...well, this is gonna sound a little odd to you, but I need to examine you. Nude." She said with a slight blush. I looked at her with a slight blush as well, and quickly shook my head no. And just like an angel, Dracko walked into the room."I just brought him here and already you stole him from me. I'm sorry but your science is gonna have to wait. Junior, lets go." I quickly got up from my chair and ran to Drackos side. I looked back at Justice, giving her an "I'm sorry" look. Her expression seemed to say "No problem", and I was soon out of that room. Dracko silently led me down a long hallway until we reached a door that looked like it needed repairs. Dracko opened the door to unveil a room full of furs practicing with their weapons. Alot of them were sparring with wooden weapons, but in an area of the room, I saw some furs playing with fire. Literally. It was like as if it were dancing in their paws. "This is where we're gonna find you that something to protect yourself from harm. But sadly, I have to go and give a full report about the monsters in your world, so instead of me helping you out today, my friend will help you out." Dracko motioned someone out of the crowd to come over here, and two started heading our way. One fur looked like he hadn't slept for days, and was looking kinda more on the slim side. His clothing was quite simple, mostly because
he didn't look ready for anything. His fur was white with a gold pattern that marked his ears and neck, and he seemed to be some kind of sloth. The other fur was a whole lot bigger than the other. This large fur was a bear with brown fur. His fashion sense resembled that of a luchador, as evident that he only wore a pair of shorts and a mask that didn't really cover much. His physique matched his style, as his muscles were the main reason he was bigger than his friend. "Junior, I would like you to meet my friends Jeremy and Sid. They will enlighten you on the choices of combat, and train you in that path. So have fun!" Dracko gave me a pat on my back, and left. The sloth motioned me towards a table with lots of gashes in it. The bear dashed towards a closet marked "inventory", and came back with a book that would put all phone books to shame. "Hello..." the sloth said silently, "I'm Jeremy and this is Sid. This book is a complete list of weapons we have in our stock. Any weapons that have a little red 'x' next to is unavailable at the moment. But go ahead, choose your new way of life.yaaawn" Jeremy barely finished his sentence before falling to sleep on the table, which I don't think is a good idea considering the environment. Sid nudged Jeremy as if he were making sure of something. He then continued to move him out of the way, and took a seat right next to me. "Don't worry about him, he just has a bad sleeping schedule is all. Now lets take a look at the vast majority of weapons to choose from. Of coarse though, if your not looking to swing around some steel, we have a choice of magic and hand to hand combat." Sid opened the large book for me, taking me to a page full of illustrations that were organized and well drawn. Sid guided me through all the weapon types and weight class, even telling me how useful it is in many conditions. After about an hour or so, we finally found a weapon in stock that I could handle. Sid closed up the book and carried it back to closet. Sid carried Jeremy on his shoulder, Jeremy almost clinging to him like a real sloth. He opened the door, and led me down another hallway. We stopped at another door with a small dragon logo printed on it. Upon opening the door, we found Dracko sitting at a desk. "Alright Dracko, he's back in your paws. See ya." Sid closed the door, shutting out most of the noise in the hallways. "Okay Junior, now go ahead and make yourself at home, because this is where your going to be staying." Dracko said while spreading his arms. I took a look around the room, and felt a cozy feeling. I plopped myself onto the bed, and closed my eyes. Finally I could just take a break from everything happening around me. I was able to sprawl around on the bed, and got to relax for about twenty minutes. "Junior, I need you to get up.""Okay. Is there something important you wanted me to do?" "Yes, Justice told me that she submitted
those forms about you to the admins, and that you're officially a part of the Conquest army. And since your a part of the Warp Squad, we're gonna have to get you into the appropriate dress. So follow me." I did as I was told, and Dracko led me into a building that seemed to be dedicated to making stuff. There were blacksmiths making armor, and tailors making clothes. Dracko took me into a room with Jack and Maria present. I almost didn't recognize her from that cloak she was wearing. The only evidence I saw that resembled my sister was her black and pink tail. She turned around, happy to see me."Junior! Look at this, it really makes me blend in doesn't it?""Yeah, but who brought you here in the first place?"Maria lifted her arm, pointing towards yet another fur in a lab coat. He actually stood out when I noticed him, probably because he was shorter than everyone I saw here. His fur was black, but had green markings starting from his left eye. From the looks of it, i was able to tell that this fur was a wolf. Even though he stood shorter than the rest, his tail was about the longest I have seen. But due to its size, he kept it wrapped around his waist. He walked over to me, and held out his paw. "Your the other new fur I keep hearing about from my sister. My names Christopher. Yours is Junior, is it?"I took his paw into my mines, giving it a firm shake. "Yup, that's my name. And judging from your lab coat, your sister must be Justice." He nodded, then shifted his focus back to Maria. Dracko came up to me, giving me a set of clothes to wear. "Here, these should fit you. Now go ahead and try them on. We don't have much time to waste looking for clothes."I followed Drackos request, and went into the back room. Changing as quick as I could, I felt something watching me. I got my new clothes on, but this feeling still hung over me. I walked back to the group of furs waiting for me, all of them with a smile on their face. I reunited with the group, and we followed Dracko back to his room. I plopped myself back onto the bed, closing my eyes for tonights rest. My sister placing herself beside me, she quickly went to sleep. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and let out a sigh. Finally drifting off to sleep.
