"*BEEP-BEEP*......*BEEP-BEEP*.......*BEEEEEEP-BEEEEEEP*........*BEEEE-"(knocks alarm clock off nightstand).... "Ugh"..."I hate waking up" I get up to go to the bathroom I slip on my alarm clock and fall on my tail.... "*BEEEEEEEEEP-BEEEEEEEEP*"...sighs "why can't my life ever be normal" I said, I get up and slowly walk to my bathroom I turn the light on and quickly shield myself from the blinding light, as my eyes adjust to the light I look in the mirror, My name is Yuuki O'Neil and I'm an Arctic Fox and my Platinum White fur shines in the light and pink fur covers my paws, it also covers the tip of my tail and ears. I jump into the shower and made the water as cold as can be 'So starts another night at Magic High...'I think to myself. I dry my fur off and I throw my silver jeans on with my pink and silver shirt and I place my silver and Pink choker around my neck and grab my keys and bag and walk to the bus stop.

As I stand at the bus stop I look up and see the moon right above me its lunar radiance shines down on my silver fur making it shine like the same light as the moon. " Hey Yuuki!!!!" I turn my head around to see a Golden Retriever running in my direction, you can see his orange and red fur from a mile away, his orange and red choker was bouncing on his red shirt as he was running towards me "Hi Brandon" I said, as he stops right next to me "Hey Mr. Shine watcha doin standing here by yourself why didn't you come to my house so we could walk together you know its dangerous out here at night" he says to me, I sighed as I replied sarcastically "Oh Yeah! Some random criminal is going to come up and try to mug one of lunar city's most powerful mage" Brandon laughed as he said "you do have a point but who ever said one mage is better than two, Just because your a Mental mage and I'm a fire mage doesn't mean anything, I'm just as powerful as you!" (though technically speaking Mental, Light, and Dark are harder to master than the basic elements) I roll my eyes at his ignorance "I never said your not as powerful as me I'm just saying that if we would be engaged in a fight you would just be in my way" Brandon was about to say something in response but I quickly interjected by saying the bus was here.

Once we got off the bus Brandon and I quickly went our separate ways to our own classes. The way magic high is set up is that we all come here at night because that's when the beasts in the wild awake, so our class assignments is to learn about each and every type of beast class they're is, The known beast types are Aquatic, Aerial, Astral, Insect, And Subterranean. At the beginning of the school year you are evaluated on your magic capability, there are 9 classes of mages, we have Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Lightning, Dark, Light, and Psychic. You have your classes depending on what key status you have, and you get your key status depending on what your evaluation score, they types of key classes are No Key, Bronze Key, Silver Key, Gold Key, and Gate Unlocker's. Gate Unlocker's are the highest rank but they're can only be one per Magic class, Due to the fact there's only one gate for each element. You can recognize a GU(gate unlocker) by looking for the choker around their neck, this limits the power being used by that mage, since they unlocked the magic power from the gate they are extremely powerful and can do amazing things, however the beasts are attracted to the magical essence that radiates of the doors and mages, that's why we hunt them. Only the GU's can go on missions alone, anyone else needs a veteran mage with them. However most of the other GU's like to work together, and here's my problem, the only other GU I know personally is Brandon, but in a fight he will only get in my way with his fire. He still has no control, he sprays it everywhere trying to destroy his target

'Come on one more minute until the bell rings'....tick....tick....tick....BBRRIIIIIIIIIIINNGG!!!! 'Finally now I can go hunt beasts' I dash from my seat and run down the halls to the combat room just to see Brandon is already there with Agni' Lament( A giant Garnet red Claymore with bright orange flames crawling across the blade, it even has bright orange flame designs allover the blade, even the hilt has some sort of fire design on it) 'I never was a fan of close combat, I like to stay back and attack with Konohanasakuya-hime's Writings ( It may not look like much, it is just a scroll with some cherry blossom designs on it even when you open it up its still a scroll that has flower petal designs all over it, However it's the Japanese writing that holds all the power, some say it was even written by the goddess herself.), Brandon smiles as he says "so where are we going tonight" I sigh and say " if you were to go with me tonight you would be useless" he has a hurt expression on his face and his tail stops wagging as he replies "Dude why so harsh man...." if they're is one thing that shouldn't exist in this world, it is Brandon when he looks so sad, it would make even the most cold hearted people cry, I quickly try to reply but end up stammering my words "n-n-no...t-that's not what I meant, I meant that your fire magic wouldn't work because I'm going underwater to fight some aquatic beasts, Brandon sees this as an opportunity to strike back "Oh, and how will you be fighting the beasts underwater" he has this smirk that shows he thinks he won this battle "I was just going to send down my avatars to fight them" I reply "So in other words your not going down there yourself" Brandon says, "technically no", Brandon's smile lights up once more " so that means you can come with me while you do that" he cheers as he pulls me with him out of the armory into the exit hall, "This is gonna be a pain"
