#2 of The Troubled

Sorry it took so long, for some reason I have more free time during school, Had to work in Waco (The City) for two weeks, I come home for one week and do jack-shit, Then I leave for summer camp, were the boy scouts forbid the use of tech, so i went dark for a week, and i've been back for three days now and managed to push out this one chapter, who knew that working on seven different stories at once could end badly?

"Do we have anything sheet metal to repair the roof?" [Garrett]

"Only 40 square feet, how much do you need?" [Hana]

"About 5, just enough to cover the leak above the garage."

"Wait, you know where it is."

"Of course I do."

"Then why'd you ask?"

"So I could do this (Leans in and kisses on the lips) Son of a bitch," She took a wild cross at my left temple, but being "Trained" for a street bought he easily dogged the shot, but couldn't avoid the same elbow crossing back and took the shot right on the end of his muzzle, I was jolted back and my vision blurred.

"Daaaaaammmm, dafaq he do?" The twins said in unison (as per their usual) they both came in through the garaged door on the first floor.

"Something dumb, you're back early, it's only like two in the afternoon" she was checking for blood on her elbow.

"Yea we thought you would want to see these though, you probably won't believe us." The twins pulled out a police radio, which appeared to still be in working condition.

"Were did you guys steal it from?" [Hana]

"We didn't steal it!"[Darius]

"Shure, and we all have some kind of half-decent family" [Me]

"We pulled it out of an old car about to get smashed." [Dallas]

"Does it still work?" [Hana]

"Doubt it." [Me]

"The cruiser was pretty beat up" [Darius]

"And it needs to be hooked up" [Dallas]

"Just bring it up here and find a place to put it." [Hana]

"While you're down there could one of you throw me the blow-torch" after that I grabbed a welding mask and a sheet of scrap metal big enough to fix that hole. I then climbed to the attic, all the while grumbling about my nose. Once I got to the leaky section I laid down and spot welded it on then welded the entire edge.

After placing the gear back together I shared dinner with the others, canned beans and corn. We sat up talking for a while before returning to our respective bunks and falling asleep to the usual late night police sirens.
