Chapter 4
Fighting For Life
Sultra was walking with Red behind him; they aren't close to the district they were heading, they've been walking for hours looking for it and it was late at night. It was still winter so it started to snow and was getting freezing. Red was freezing but Sultra wasn't because he has fur. Sultra looked at Red and he gave her his jacket. "No you shouldn't." Red said. "Oh come on I fur you need it more than I do." Sultra said. "Well, you have a point." She said.
Sultra gave is his jacket to her and he only has on his undershirt, dark jeans but he doesn't really wear boots, his feet are basically big wolf paws. "You really have big... feet." Red snickers a little. "Meh what's new?" Sultra said. Red tries on his jacket and she was warm.
"Hey Sultra I have a question." Red said. "Shoot." Sultra said and they are still walking through the snow. "Is Sultra your real name?" Red asked.
Sultras ears flickered. "Well... it's just a fake name." Sultra said. "Oh, so then what is your real name?" Red wondered. "The name doesn't matter no more." Sultra said. "Oh..." Red said and looks away.
Sultra was looking at her and looks down a bit. "My real name is Leon... Leon Angels." Sultra said. "Leon Angels... I like that name." Red said.
"Yeah but that name is fading away." Sultra said. "Can I call you Leon from now on?" Red asked. Sultra shook his head no. Red looked down a little bit. Sultra smirks a little.
"Fine... you can call me that but keep it a secret okay?" Sultra said. "Okay... Leon." She giggles. As they kept walking the coast was really clear. No fiends anywhere, but they were at the streets. Suddenly Sultra heard something and his ears flickered. He looked behind him and something huge was coming.
"Get down!" Sultra said. Sultra grabbed Reds arm and carried her, he was running from something that was huge and he ran to an alley. They both heard a loud roar that was louder than the fiends. A car come's flying over Sultra and Red and Sultra looks back more cars are being thrown from the streets. Sultra sees another street of the end of the alley and runs really fast for it and the creature was breaking through the alley. "Red you're going to have to find a safe place to hide!" Sultra shouted. "Okay!" Red said.
Sultra sees a old school that was torn and he runs to the parking lot. He tries to open the door but it was locked. "Damn!" Sultra shouted and tries to break the window and it breaks and shatters. He unlocks it from the other side and opens it. "Get inside Red!" Sultra said.
"But will you be okay?" Red asked and looked at him. "Yeah don't worry about me!" Sultra said and he shuts the door and looks back at him.
Another car was about to be thrown and Sultra dodged it and it blocked the doorway for Red. "Red!" Sultra shouted. Red was panicking but tries to stay calm. "Don't worry I'm fine, I'll find a way out!" Red shouts.
"Okay I'll take care of-"Sultra was silenced and was grabbed by the neck and was slammed to the ground on the concrete on the face and was thrown to a pole and the creature roared at Sultra. Sultra has got a good look of it though. The creature was like human structure but it was really buffed up and its arm on the right, it doesn't even have an arm it has a giant axe and it has no hair, it only has torn up pants and it has sharp claws on the other hand. It has a really huge mouth and it doesn't have any eyes. Sultra thought maybe it could have heat vision. Some fiends have that. Sultra slowly tries to get up but he got smacked by the giant fiend across the parking out and lands on a car causing the car to crush, Sultra grunts in pain. "R-Red!" Sultra shouts.
The creature rams into Sultra, causing Sultra to scream in pain. The fiend grabs Sultra and holds him still and punching Sultra in the face over and over making him spit and lose out blood. Sultra growls and holds up his hand and the creature was about to punch once more as Sultra grabs a hold of his hand and Sultra growls and wields out his sword and stabs the creature in the stomach. The creature grabs the sword and throws it behind him far away on the other side of the parking lot. The creature keeps punch his face and the rest of him, making Sultra suffer. "Leon!" Red shouts trying to open the door but the car is too heavy to move for the door to open.
Red has to go and find a way out to help Sultra. Red runs fast to find another exit and she keeps running and she can hear the punches that are being landed on Sultra. The creature leaves Sultra for moment. "You had enough?" Sultra said and coughs out blood.
The creature comes back with his sword and roars and stabs the sword through Sultras chest, Sultra scream in pain more as Red hears him and afraid that his going to die. The creature grabs a car and slams it on him causing the sword to go through more. Sultra slowly starts closing eyes and slowly passes out from too much loss of blood. Red finally finds a new exit and pushes through and rushes to find Sultra. "Sultra!" Red shouts. Sultra didn't respond. "Sultra?" She repeats.
The creature continues to roar and runs to Red. Red runs and gets back inside the building running through the hallways as the creature tries to fit through and goes inside to follow her. Sultra was too past out with the sword through his chest. Red keeps running and tries to hide.
Slowly a memory goes through Sultra's head remembering. "Leon..." something whispers to him. It all becomes a flashback. "Leon, are you okay?" A young girl was asking him.
Sultra opens his eyes and finds himself in a park. He was lying down in a field and sees a 13 year old girl next to him, which turns out to be his sister. Sultra widens his eyes and looks at his hands. He was human again and was 18 year old kid again. "Leon, you need to wake back up." His sister said.
"Serena!" Leon shouts and hugs Serena tightly. "Leon, I know you missed me for the last 88 years, but Red needs you." Serena said. Leon slowly looks down and he knew Serena was right he slowly nods but giving Serena one last long hug. Serena slowly puts her hand on Leon's back and hugs back. She slowly speaks in a gentle voice and whispers "Wake up..." Serena said.
Sultra wakes up fast and he hears Red screaming and the creature brings out Red from the old school. Sultra growls and pushes the car off of him. The creature sees him and tilts head. He then slowly grabs the handle of the sword and takes it out of him and screams in pain but not stopping. And takes it out completely and slowly gets up. "That's it get up!" Serena says in a whisper in Sultras ear. Sultra growls and his eye start glowing red. "Let go of her, this is between me and you!" Sultra shouts at the creature. The creature growls and sets the creature down gently. Red sees Sultra and sees that he was all bruised up and still has the stab wound through his chest and still not dead. "How are you still alive?" Red thought in shock. "Red, go hide!" Sultra said. "Okay!" She said.
Sultra starts walking towards the creature and wields out his sword and spits out a little bit of blood. The creature roars and gets out its axe and runs towards Sultra. The creature tries to slash Sultra with its axe but Sultra and the creature's sword clashed, Sultra slowly smirks. The creature gets mad and tries to make a slash again and the weapons clashed again. Sultra quickly starts slashing his sword on the creature and making the creature loses blood. He clenched up his fist and punches its face and the creature goes flying back. Sultra jumps on top of the creature and stabs the creature's neck and pressuring it in. Roaring in the creatures face and slowly killing the creature. He slowly takes a deep breath and takes his sword out of the creature and slowly walks away from it leaving it dead. He dropped on his knees and on his hands, dropping his sword and lies down resting for a few minutes. "Red!" Sultra shouts. "Leon!" Red shouts and runs towards Sultra and gets on her knees comforting him a little bit.
Sultra starts sighing in relive. "Leon, your chest has a hole in it!" Red worries. "Don't worry about it... I went through rough times like this, plus the demons in me heal me really fast so it should heal in a few hours, just let me lie here for an hour or two..." Sultra said.
"Will we be okay out here though?" Red asked. Sultra looks around and she had a point, it might not be safe. "Let's go inside that school over there..." Sultra said.
"Okay Leon." Red replied. Sultra slowly gets up and Red helps him up and they start walking towards the school building and they go through hall ways then find a nurse office. "In there..." Sultra said and grunts in pain a little.
Red and him slowly go inside and shut the door behind them. Red puts him on the medical bed and Sultra tries to rest. "Here, let me make you room..." Sultra tries to move. Red squeezes in and snuggles against Sultra. They made sure the door was locked and decided to stay there for the night.
"Night Leon..." Red said and slowly goes to sleep. "Night... Serena..." Sultra says but Red didn't listen because she was too tired and slowly both fell asleep.
