Welp, you can pretty much guess where humanity went....

Species Name: Homo Tyrannus, commonly referred Tyrannians

Homeworld: Tyr, their Ancestors were originally transplanted from a planet known to the Starstray as "Gaius".

Average Height: 5'0 to 8'0

Average Lifespan: 80 to 140 on Tyr; 90 to 150 on their original planet

Intelligence Level: Average but adaptive learners

Civilization Level: Iron-Steel Age;Proto-Steam age

Civilization Age: 6000 years

Population: Roughly 200 Million

Culture(s): Tyrannians are a prolific race of hairless hominids can be found all over the planet and can be quite territorial by forming cultural identities based on the regions that they reside in, which has led to their evolutionary success. Now what makes Homo Tyrannus unique in terms of a species is that instead of engaging in traditional warfare like most other terrestrial races. They assimilate their neighboring bands and tribes customs to integrate them into their culture or vice versa using unconventional means.

The most prominent culture that has survived the test of time is the Tribes of Wicker, originating in the Svaldlands, by using sheer primal vigor, cunning and persistence in some of the harshest environments. Historically speaking, the first tribe that began engrossing others into its customs used underhanded trickery, stealth, and thievery, utilizing wit over physical means. The Story of how it happens though is told with a different protagonist, their God Aloika playing the tribe's part.

Aloika, The God of Storms and Mischief, came down from the eternal maelstrom after a greedy tribe took advantage of his generosity with his fair rains. He quietly crept through their lands like the whisper of the pines, slipping into their granaries before pilfering their spoils. Aloika gave the Chieftain Wicker with his ill-gotten gains then fleeing towards the Dusk to the Eternal Maelstrom.

Aside from their Modern Civilization, Tyrannians throughout their early past have been expert Hunters and tamers, mastering all that nature had to throw at them. Once their settlements spread throughout the planet, they looked to the soil by tilling it and gazed at the seas abundant with monstrous bounty waiting to be plundered. The one thing they didn't expect nature to throw at them was the Trotunn...

Beyond what nature throws at them, Tyrannians by nature, have a particularly queer style of parenting that's ingrained within their genetic structure. Most of their young around their 10th year before they dawn upon puberty are sent off into the wilderness or other settlements, most often in groups with a brave few bold enough to go alone, to survive on their own. Fortunately, most Tyrannian children are taught their parents' professions early on before this time, and often take the tools of their trade with them on their grand adventure of life.

Factions: While the Tribes of Wicker are far and many, there is one that still stands before in a face of its demise.

The Yuguri Empire, having conquered half the planet sits a sleeping giant of an empire who have used the knowledge of the beings from the great unknown to manipulate their environment, harnessing their rivers to generate electricity. Guided by their divine consuls, the Emperor and their Empress, they seek to explore the heavens above and pursue the sciences necessary to achieve their goal. Sadly this prosperity is expected to be shortly lived due to a mismanagement of resources.

While the empire is large, it has spread too far and to handle accompanied by the fact that the recent developments of Svaldlander Naval Architecture has allowed them to slip through their borders and colonize deep in Imperial territory. Despite their efforts to suppress their by building walls and canals, this has led many of their subjects to question the Empire's hierarchy. The Trotunn Elders estimate the Yuguri Empire will become a footnote in Tyr's history once the Wickers spread their influence.

Tratam, a term used to describe anyone born to both tyrannian and trotunn parent, they are widely integrated into most settlements.

Technology: Tyrannians before the arrival of their Trotunn kin, were largely doing well in terms of their technological development, experimenting with steam as a form of mechanical power and having mastered the practice of alloying metals. Some even tinkering with basic chemical interactions with the various elements of the periodic table, and refining their understanding of medicine. Their agricultural practices were also quite developed, using bronze pipes to transport water from vast distances away into their fields and cycling through various plant types during the year.

Once the Trotunn arrived to their planet and first contact was made, the Trotunn began dispensing out their wisdom and knowledge to the natives, hoping to prevent the damage that had been done to their planet. They taught the Tyrannians how to master the sun for energy, creating solar boiler systems and sustainable dams for electricity, warning of the dangers of coal and oil. This ultimately improved their quality of life by allowing them to generate electric heat for the colder winters and build larger farms. The Trotunn plan to reveal the knowledge of their more advanced technologies once their two species become more integrated over the next generations, ensuring their collaborative survival.

Aside from their more mechanical pursuits, Tyrannians are masters of stealth and camouflage, using various dyes to paint themselves to match their environment. They often build their homes to make them blend into their surroundings to avoid be spotted from afar. Their clothing also doubles as protection from what nature has to throw at theml.

Allies: While the Tyrannians aren't exactly the most advanced civilization, they have some powerful comrades...

Trotunn, these cataclysm survivors arrived a couple hundred years ago after their planet suffered a core collapse, essentially their homeworld caved in on itself. Once they left their Solar system, they started searching for a new place to call home for the next two centuries, Sadly their Gene pool greatly diminished over time. Their DNA became fraught with instability to the point where their offspring didn't make it past the first few days of life due to a combination of defects and poor nutrition.

Luckily, thanks to a ZANC expeditionary marking the planet's natives as an "Ecological Hazard" with a beacon that automatically transmitted information whenever a sensor was tripped, namely Homo Tyranus's genetic profile. Almost out of fuel and low on time, they landed on Tyr with a majority of the Colony fleet landing in the Svaldlands, though some elsewhere due to buggy navigation software. The Trotunn managed to settle down on the planet, but the locals steer clear of them until one day...

...A tribe in the Gorag Plateau that was close to one of the Trotunn settlement's underwent a famine thanks to them damming up the nearby river to make a reservoir. They sent their chieftain to investigate their dormant ship, painting himself to match ship's color and sneak aboard to take their food. Unfortunately, he was spotted by a young Trotunn maiden whom he wrestled to the ground then somewhat forcibly mated with her.

Despite first contact between the two species resulting in rape, it did result in the salvation of the entire race from extinction. With a shot in the dark, quite literally, a healthy baby Trotunn was born from a Tyrannian father. Much less to say, thanks to 200 years of interbreeding and "Marriage", well as far as the concept of marriage goes in both civilizations. It would be downright impossible to pit these two races against one another.

Dyloi, when a passing Varandion Merchant vessel had suffered some technical errors, leading to a crash landing in the Svaldlands, its cargo of 20 Dyloi were the only survivors thanks their containment units. Once free of their confines, they began adapting to the harsher climate by developing thicker fur and interacting with Homo Tyrannus by eating its scraps. These large hyenic alien quadropeds soon became a popular mount and pet across the Western hemisphere, particularly since it was intelligent enough to help hunt down food and carry individuals across vast distances.

Enemies: Despite being a "Primitive" society, they have earned the fear of a very powerful enemy.

ZANC, when a ZANC Scientific Expeditionary Team visited the planet to research the native population, they discovered a unique "ability" Tyrannians had. When one of their scientists was exposed to physical contact by Homo Tyrannus, she began exhibiting submissive tendencies towards the subject as he repeatedly praised her over and over again in his native tongue. After an hour of the native touching her, she felt affection towards the subject and wanted to wear a crude barbaric device around her neck for reasons unknown. Once he placed the collar on her neck, He began to mate with her on the fruitless intent of reproducing with her.

Varadions, namely the Ga'Roa Corporation, when it tried recovering its lost cargo ship, ran into a pack Dyloi carrying a band of Tyrannian hunters on their backs. Much less to say, the recovery crew had fallen prey to the Dyloi's wit and ended up roasted over an open fire as their skin crackled like chicken. The lone survivor of the group that managed to high tail it off Tyr though slightly crispy, he spoke of the symbiotic relationship between the two species.

Hostility: As long as you don't look like food to them, they are awfully friendly.

Physical Description: These Hairless Monkeys aren't exactly native to Tyr but ever since their ancient ancestors were transported to Tyr by the Solskips for their experiment long ago. They have adapted to the more unforgiving terrain and the harsher climates, becoming smarter and stronger as time went on. Soon, they became the Apex predator on top of Tyr's food chain without too much resistance, stomping out and taming their competition.

Homo Tyrannus is your average Anthropoidal race with a distinctly flat face and an prominent upright posture that allows them to travel for vast distances across terrain. They possess particularly long extremities such as arms and legs due to their ancestors being primarily arboreal creature that transitioned over to a terrestrial species in their evolutionary history. They also have plantigrade feet with five digits on each, and four fingers with one additional digit dedicated as a thumb.

What makes Homo Tyrannus worth study is their complexly developed emotional centers, causing them to be more empathetic towards others as well as their thicker amygdala connection that inhibits impulsiveness. Their focus tends to center on goals and tasks that benefit themselves if not an entire group, which is why some bastions of hunter gatherer groups still exist since they participate commerce with other tribes. Some might consider this behavior psychopathic but it's part of their coding from long ago when troops would celebrate over piles of food.

One should be aware due to the Trotunn's increasing genetic influence within their race, some are developing the traits such as a chameleon reflex and have grown significantly in average height. Those with a notable amount in their lineage can be identified by their large prominent canines, and their occasionally discolored skin.

Eyes: varying hues but primarily Green, Gold, Brown, Blue, Gray, and others

Hair: Mainly Earthy tones, varying shades of Blonde, Brown, Red and Black, but some Tyrannians like to dye their hair to certain degrees

Skin: Tyrannians have a variety of skin tones and pigmentation, such as those native to the Svaldlands being somewhat pale while their cousins near the equator have dark hues.

Sexual Dimorphism: The differences between male and female in his race is standard affair, males tend to be taller and bear broader shoulders while females tend to be slightly shorter. In some cases, Females on occasion will develop more masculine tendencies and traits such as more aggressive outward behavior towards her peers, especially others of her gender and establish hierarchy, presenting herself as a Troop Leader of sorts.

Sexuality: Tyrannians are an extremely promiscuous race, due to some minor genetic alterations pertaining to agression from long ago, and they won't hesistate to greet you in their native 'tongue'. This simian race has considerably the lewdest evolutionary history in the entire perseus arm, from the apeish primates who'd have grandiosely wild orgies over piles of food to its recent hominid variations who were busy trying to figure out how interbreed with one another. They are the end result of a lot of boinking over the past few eras that won't hesitate to keep that tradition up with their new Trotunn friends.

Tyrannians mate on a daily, if not regular basis, using their to greet one another then begin to grind against one another or perform manual stimulation in sort of handshake with their companions, considering to them social behavior is the same as sexual behavior. This process lasts for an hour if not more, then enter a refractory period where the intermingle with one in skin to skin contact while kissing one another. Same sex relations are also common, though females use genital to genital contact to establish dominance over one another or use it to relieve tension between one another.

Most young tyrannians learn about mating by watching their adult counterparts or parents, participating in sociosexual activities with their caregiver and their partners, or engaging with other youth. These 'incestous' activities are actually key to developing their social behavior later on in life when they become part of a community. It is lucky that these are merely recreative acts because once a young girl reaches Menarche or in case for a lad, Spermarche, they cease these interactions.

Reproduction: Tyrannians mate in the usual way most mammalian species do, Males possess an appendage that often ranges in 6 to 8 inches with a prepuce to null friction during mating and glans designed to scoop out any competitor's sperm while females possess a vaginal canal that encompasses her partner's apparatus. Tyrannian women, even at young age, possess a particular prominent clitoris, even capable of rivaling some Apacian clitori in size at half an inch to a full inch, resembling tiny penis but filled with ten thousands nerve endings. Some 'Alpha' Females, who experience heavier doses of Androgens during childhood and pubescence, tend to have the more sizeable clitori.

Fertilization: Viviparous

Gestation: 9 months

Brooding (Average # of offspring): 1 or 2, though some Tyrannian females are capable of Superfetation where they remain continuously pregnant
