Also posted on FA, hope you all enjoy the beginning of the exploration of my kinky new world.

James Longfellow was walking up the steps of the tall office building with a cup of coffee in one hand, and a suitcase in the other which was neatly sorted the night before. He was walking up the stairs because he was simply on the third floor, which the weasel did not find too bad. He stopped at his floor, and pushed open the next to the elevator doors. He glanced around, no clients had come in yet which was good. None were suppose to be here so early, he found opening at Eight gave him plenty of time to prepare for his day of his fine trade.

He slipped into his office, the key he brought opening the lock on the heavy oak door with a loud latch. He couldn't help but smile when he saw all things were as he had left it. Walking around and sitting down in his plush office chair, he sighed in relief. He loved his office, and it showed from all the pictures of fine deals done in the room that were hanging from the walls. Somewhere simple party pictures with himself, his secretary, and a few friends when he had his fifth year of business in the building or surprise birthday parties.

He felt more at home here than he did in his apartment.

He barely glanced up when he saw a dark shape moving outside of the darkly tinted clouded 'windows' that made up his walls toward the small lobby he had. Of course, this was Sarah his secretary. She was a tall panther who he had met working in a small coffee shop and was impressed when she threw a pair of young men out by the scruffs of their necks. He had more than a few people who found him unlikable and at rare times worried for his safety as some do in his line of work.

He was a lawyer, yes it was a stereotype that everyone thought that rodents and similar species were lawyers of the worst kind but he was not the kind one took with them to court, at least to defend them. He was a lawyer that dealt with contracts to help his 'clients' deal with their debts. Some called him scum for his kind of work, but his work was well respected by most people and so he continued making the money he had been.

"Sir, I've got your appointments for the day." Sarah said, opening the door and putting a folder of paperwork. Something she could that James found startling was her ability to slide into his office and put something on his desk without him noticing. At first it was annoying, but now it was just a fact of his life.

"Thank you Sarah, tell me when they arrive." He said taking a sip of his coffee, opening the folder with one paw reading the first name on his list. Seeing only a small handful, with small bit of information on each. Enough to draw up a few prices and offers for them, along with their tie size.

His buisiness was one of flesh, of other furs and their lives. He didn't kidnap anyone, and he certainly didn't force them into these situations where they needed to go in. No, his job was to fill out paper work to make them slaves and then sell them through his own offices to places that would train them or sell them to the public through stores.

The Original purpose was, of course, to have furs pay off outstanding debts that would destroy entire lives, but as times went on and the practice became more...accepted. More and more things were added to the laws, those signing the contracts were given more rights and more protection from their owners. Some ignored these laws and were punished accordingly, the punishment for killing your 'property' was still considered murder.

Though now using your slaves for alternative uses was acceptable, and James did it himself when he was younger living with his parents. The vixen his parents owned was freed just a year before he opened up his offices up, though he kept in contact. He smiled thinking of all the fun times they had, and not so fun times she put him through afterwards as playful revenge.

"Mister Longfellow, your first appointment is here."

James looked up, adjusted a few papers and picked the top from the pile. It was a shorter canine, a fair bust with soft curves a little plush to her stomach. Her fur was a soft brown, with white fur on her stomach behind her plain black shirt that showed just enough of her neck to tease those she was speaking to. She was older, clearly a mother as well from a glance at her paperwork. Her bright blue eyes betrayed a bit of nervousness, but a bit of curiosity.

"Miss Kendra Softpaw, A Pleasure to meet you." James said and put a copy of his paperwork, "Let's start on your paperwork and we'll have you sent to be sold quickly."
