Ch2. Taken

Kyo slowly swam to the shore. His body hurt so much and he was so tired that he was about to pass out when he got to the shore and laid on the mud on the edge of the river. As he laid there the thought of the village burning and all his friends dyeing ran threw his mind till his finally passed out.

"We aren't going to find the little shit Tags." One of the wolves yelled.

Out front the leader of the raid was running as fast as he can. "I said we are going to find him and we will. Do you understand Luke?"

"He jumped off a water fall, he's as good as dead. Plus if he did survive he must be miles down the river by now."

Tags came to a sudden stop and looked at the other five wolves. It was getting late and he knew that they were all getting slightly tired from running. "Ok fine. You five head back to came and get some rest."

All the wolves had smiles on their faces at the mention of rest but Luke was confused. "What about you?"

"I'll be there soon. I'm just going to keep looking for him a couple more hours then head back."

"But..."

Luke couldn't finish his sentence before Tags grabbed him by the throat and brought him so they were touching noises. "I've never lost a runaway and I'm not going to start with this one got it." The wolf just nodded and Tags let him go.

The rest of the wolves nodded their heads and the group took off and headed back to the camp. Tags turned, once again started to head down the shore line. "Where the fuck are you?" Tags spoke to himself as he jumped over a log. He stopped and hour later painting hard. "Fuck." He said as he punched the tree next to him and he turned to head back to the camp. As soon as he turned the wind picked up a little and he caught the scent of the one person he was looking for. He followed the scent to a small pile of logs, when he climbed over it he seen the human laying on his stomach in a bud puddle. Tags walked up to him and examine his body but only seen a couple of burses on his right arm and his back but his right wrist might be sprained. "Lucky basterd." The wolf chuckled to himself as he bent down and picked up the human over his shoulder and started to head back to camp.

Kyo slowly woke up and tried to move but a sharp pain came threw his whole right side. He lay on his back and looked around and seen that he was actually in a cage inside a large tent. When he looked around more he seen more and more cages with other people in them, some he knew and some he never seen in his life. As he tried to sit up the pain seemed to get worst to he fell back on to his back with a thud.

"So you finally woke up." A voice came from behind him.

Kyo looked up to see Tags crouched on the other side of the cage. Kyo's face turned angry with rage. "Why?"

Tags tilted his head to the side in confusion. "Why what."

"Why would you just attack our village like that and kill everyone."

The wolf smiled. "Because we can't let your kind thrive to the point where you can raise an army and kill our kind to the point that we can go extinct like the old times. Besides we didn't kill everyone in that pathetic village."

"What are you talking about?"

"We left half the woman and children their alone. We mainly go after the older men for they can put up a better fight. I have to say we did lose more men here than any other village I can remember."

Kyo sighed in relief that not all the villagers had died but there was still one thing that he didn't understand. "So why let me live?"

Tags started to laugh. "I didn't let you die because you're strong and I think you would make a nice slave along with the rest of your villagers that we took."

Kyo froze in shock as he finally realized why they we're all in cages and some even had collars on. "I will never be your slave."

Tags rose up and started to walk off. "Who said that you're going to be my slave? The profit that I'm going to get after I sell you should be very great."

Kyo was left there to take in the new information that he was goin to be sold as a slave to some animal. "How can this happen to me?"

Camp was broken down two days later and on the move with all the new slaves chained by the neck to march behind the wagons. Because Kyo was still in some pain by the time that they started to move he was placed in Tag's wagon to heal.

"So tell me kid..." Tags said as he was laying back agents the wall. "What's your name?"

"My name is Kyo." The human just stared up at the roof of the wagon.

Tags laid back and laughed. "Kyo? Yeah that name won't last long. You might be called anything but Kyo maybe even Bitch." Tags seen him tense up a little. "Look just to give you a heads up being a slave isn't that bad if you do as you are told. Who knows you might even be lucky and be treated like a pet then a slave. You will find out that most of us aren't that bad we care deeply for them."

Kyo turned his head the opposite way from the wolf. "Don't feed me that crap. You came to my village and killed most of my friends."

"What about your family, didn't we kill them too?" There was silence as a tear started to fall down Kyo's face.

"No, my family died a long time ago."Kyo thought about his mom's warm touch and his dad's smile. All his life he wanted to have a family again even after what happened to his. Kyo soon felt something soft move across his face and when he looked he seen that Tags moved closer and was drying his tears.

"I'm sorry. But just think that now you'll get a new family but you'll have to behave." Kyo could have sworn that he seen tags eyes started to water. "Believe me when I say this that if you don't do as you are told thing will be more difficult for you."

Kyo just lay on the floor still unable to move. ‘A new family? How can I have a new family with these beasts?' Kyo thought to himself. ‘But if he says is true then I guess I will have no choice.' Kyo sighed and looked back up to the roof.

The trip was long to the city that they were heading to. They stopped twice a day to give the slaves a rest for the wolves want them to look their best so they can get more money when they sell them.

A wolf ran up to the side of the wagon that Tags was sitting in "Hey Tags."

Tags looked to the wolf and smiled. "Yes Will."

"How much longer till we get to Frostfort."

Tags looked up to the sky. "Hmmm... I'd say about two more days." He looked down at the black wolf. "Why do you want to know?"

Will looked at the human laying in the back of the wagon. "I think we should see if he can start walking. If he can then we can build his muscle back up."

"Your right. The next time we stop for the night well get that human walking." Will smiled and turned to run back to the end of the pack. Tags glanced back at Kyo. "You have been resting for a week. See if you can sit up."

Kyo placed his hands on the floor and pushed himself up slowly wincing in slight pain but didn't stop. When he was sitting fully up ward Tags smiled. "Good..." He looked at a white wolf walking on the side. "Here grab the rains." The wolf nodded and hopped up on and sat next to tags. After handing the wolf the rains to the horses he got up and moved into the back. He opened a box and pulled something out. "This will be yours till you get a new master." He pulled Kyo's shirt off and placed a collar around his neck and locked it. He clipped a small chain to it and gave it a couple of light yanks. "There, now that I know that you can sit up I've made sure that you can run off now."

Kyo cursed at himself thinking that he could have escaped if he pretended to be injured, then took off at night. Well now it can't be helped he was now stuck with the wolves now and maybe forever. It was about to be night for the sun was setting so it wasn't long till they stopped for the night and like the other nights Kyo was sleeping in the back of the wagon when he felt a yank on his collar, he quickly looked up to see Will standing with the chain in his paw.

"Get up now." Kyo slowly got up and moved to the edge of the wagon. "Good now get out." He stepped out of the wagon and slowly walked to the wolf. Will bent down and examined his body. "Yep besides these burses that will be here for a while longer you look pretty fit." The wolf stood

He started to walk and pulled the chain a little bit more. "Let's go slave." The two walked through the camp. "Slave!" Will yelled.

"Yes." Kyo asked as he looked at the wolf just to get a smack across the face.

"It's yes master. From now on everyone that's not human is known as master and second you never make eye contact unless you are told to." Kyo looked down to the ground. "You are going to have to learn these things." The wolf turned and continued to walk.

Kyo was looking at the camp and seen one tent with all the other slaves in it. He even seen some wolves starting to chain them to the other wagons but unlike him they all looked tired and beaten. "You are a lucky human you know that."

"Why is that master." Kyo was a little confused.

"Well unlike them you do as you are told. Tags was right that you will obey easer then the others." Will stopped and looked at the others being taken out of the cages and chained up. "Them they don't listen so we are forced to beat them till they do. It's something that we don't like to do but it can't be helped." The wolf looked to the floor and shook his head. "Let's go." The two walked back to Tag's wagon and will chain him to it. "You'll be walking from now on so you can get back into shape." After will got don't chaining him he gave it a couple of tugs. "There that should do. We will be moving soon so don't get to comfy."

Will was right it wasn't soon after he was chained up that he heard a howl and the grope started to move once more. It was the longest walk that he had ever done, it was hours before they stopped to eat, which was only a small piece of meat and a small bowl of water, before they started to move again. They done the same routine for two days until, camp wake up early walk and make two stops to eat and drink and then camp for the night.

The next day Luke was walking beside Kyo when he said. "There she is. Frostfort."

Kyo looked up and seen a huge city that he thought wasn't possible. A huge wall surrounded the city. In the middle of the enormous city was a palace that from the distance looked entirely white. Kyo also noticed that a river ran through the center of Frostfort. When they got near the gate four guards stood outside checking everyone that wanted to enter. They stopped when one of the guards raised a hand and said. "Halt." Two of the guards looked at the wagons and the slaves, when they seemed satisfied the one that ordered them to stop walked up to Tags. "Looks like you got another good bunch."

Tags nodded. "Yeah but I think the best of the group is chained to my wagon."

The guard looked at Kyo and smiled. "He looked nice but..." He walked over and picked up Kyo's right arm. "These burses look pretty bad. Shit you must have beat the living crap out of him."

Tags chuckled. "No the little shit actually jumped of a waterfall."

The guard busted out laughing. "I think you should stick with the beating story sounds more convincing but anyways you're good to go."

Tags bowed. "Thank you." With a crack of the rains they were off to go into the city. As they moved through Frostfort Kyo couldn't believe how many wolves lived there and to his surprise they we're all wolves. He was also astounded at how civil they we're, the females wore what looks like to be dresses while the males just wore pants. Kyo also noticed they didn't live in huts or log cabins but stone houses. He seen small pups running around and playing, a female buying a necklace, and one house that had a bunch of deer hanging to be butchered. Kyo now knew that the wolves lived an advanced and comfortable life.

They soon came up to a large two story building with cages along the side. "We're here..." Tags said softly. "And on time."

"About time..." Kyo seen one of the wolves jump out of the wagon behind him and stretched. "So once we get these humans in the cages we can go home?"

"Yep." Tags said with a smile.

All of the wolves grinned and snatched the humans by their collars and tossed them into the cages. Tags walked up to the one that Kyo was in. "Tomorrow is going to be a big day. For tomorrow we start selling you humans off. So get some rest because I want you to look your best." Tags turned and headed inside the building while the others finished locking them up and soon followed the wolf and was gone.

Kyo looked at the others who had the same look as if their lives were over. Kyo looked at what was all in the cage and all he had was a small brown blanket and a bowl of water. Kyo was to tired from walking to care that the other human were complaining and trying to open the cages that he just laid on the blanket and soon fell fast asleep.

Well here is Ch.2 and once again sorry for the errors. The one who usually corrects them hasn't been on lately to do so.
