#14 of Events of an Uneventful Freshman Year

Chris yawned and pressed himself back into Mitch's warm grasp. The Wolf wrapped his arms around the human tighter and ruffed quietly. He started to sniff, and his eyes opened wide. The scent of eggs, bacon, and freshly brewed coffee wafted into the Wolf's bedroom. Mitch shifted and attempted to get out of bed, but was stopped in his tracks as Chris grabbed his arm.

"Stay right there," Chris held the Wolf's arm to him, "I'm not ready to get up yet."

Mitch chuckled and gently kissed the back of the human's neck. Chris smiled and giggled quietly. He was in heaven in the Wolf's embrace. Mitch smirked and did it again, more insistently. The human squirmed against him and giggled louder. The Wolf grinned and rubbed over his boyfriend's side.

"Baby," Chris whined, "I can't sleep if you get me all riled up."

Mitch kissed the human's shoulder and chuckled.

"I just want to feel you," Mitch began, "Your skin is so soft."

Mitch moved his paw up to trace Chris's back with the backs of his fingers. Chris sighed happily and pulled one of the pillows down to snuggle with. With a lusty smirk, the Wolf leaned down to nuzzle and kiss below the human's shoulder. The Wolf reluctantly remembered that this was the last day for a while that they'd be able to spend together and let out a quiet whimper.

"I'm going to miss you," Mitch sighed, "I know it's not really a lot of time, but it's longer than I've been able to call you my boyfriend."

Chris rolled over and faced the Wolf. Mitch was right, it felt like the pair had been dating for longer. He felt a pang of guilt as he thought about Brutus, but snapped himself out of it as he saw the pain in Mitch's eyes. Chris thought about it for a moment, and leaned forward to kiss the Wolf softly.

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?" Chris began, "We'll be fine. I'm just a phone call or a short drive away."

Mitch scoffed.

"Maybe for humans," Mitch sighed, "Missing you isn't going to make me love you more, it just makes me sadder that I can't be with you."

Chris smirked.

"Did you just say the "L" word?" Chris chuckled, "It's a bit early for that don't you think?"

Mitch growled playfully and rolled the human on his back. Chris practically yelped as Mitch started tickling his sides.

"Come on," Chris giggled loudly and kicked his legs, "Let me up."

Mitch stuck out his tongue as he pinned the human to the mattress. Chris started giggling again and closed his eyes as Mitch attacked his neck with a series of licks and nibbles. When he opened them, Mitch was sitting up with his arms crossed.

"Ok fine," Mitch began, "I'll admit it. I've developed feelings for you that transcend liking. There I said it, happy?"

Chris blushed and looked away.

"I don't know," Chris replied, "I don't know if it's a good thing or not."

"Do you believe in love at first sight?" Mitch asked, "Cause that's what happened the first time I saw you. I told you that, remember? Hell that happens to most Furs."

Chris chuckled.

"You were also drunk when we had that discussion," Chris began, "I just thought you were trying to romance me."

Mitch laughed.

"There is no one more honest than a drunk," Mitch smiled, "I wasn't just saying it to say it. It was the truth."

Chris's mind flooded with thoughts about Mitch, and Brutus. He quickly realized something. He had fallen in love too, but not with Mitch. Chris turned white as a sheet, shot up out of bed, and ran into the bathroom, nearly running into Max as he did so. The Cattle Dog whined and put the two plates of breakfast he was carrying on the nightstand.

"I don't know what I did," Mitch sat up and sighed, "I just told him how I felt."

Max whined and looked at the bathroom door. Mitch took a deep breath and walked to the closed bathroom door. He whimpered as he heard Chris quietly sobbing from inside. After a short pause, he knocked softly and put his ear to the door.

"S-sorry," Chris began, "I-I'll be right out."

"Are you ok baby?" Mitch sat against the bathroom door, "You looked like you saw a ghost."

Mitch's ear twitched as he heard Chris moving to sit with his back to the door. Chris started to sob again.

"I messed up so bad Mitch," Chris managed to get out between sobs, "I think I fell in love with Brutus when I was dating him. If you fell in love with me so easily, what if the same thing happened to him?"

"It did Chris," Mitch rubbed his arm, "That's part of what made it so hard for me while you were with him."

"Am I a bad person?" Chris began, "I didn't even know what love really was. Am I terrible for just throwing it away?"

"You can't be a terrible person," Mitch chuckled, "You're dating me. That's like one of the best things someone can do."

Chris sniffled.

"That's not helping," Chris replied, "Am I Mitch?"

Mitch sighed.

"You didn't know Chris," Mitch began, "There's nothing you can do about it now though. He's moving on. I'm sure he's always going to care about you, and think about you, but there's not enough there to get you back to the way you used to be. You aren't terrible for trying to move on, it's just a part of life that almost everyone has to go through."

Chris's head thumped against the door.

"What do I do Mitch?" Chris asked, "I mean, do I apologize? Do I cut him out of my life? What should I do?"

Mitch thought for a moment.

"You should apologize," Mitch began, "Just not right now. The emotions are still too raw. Wait until you've dated someone else for a while, or for him to date someone else. If you do it now, you're just going to be way more confused."

Chris opened the door and wiped his eyes as Mitch stood up to hug him tightly. The human barely managed to keep himself from crying as the Wolf lovingly embraced him and whispered soothing words into his ear.

"I'm happy you aren't mad at me," Chris began as the Wolf pulled away, "I thought you would be."

Mitch shook his head.

"I'm not going to be mad at you for something silly like that," Mitch replied, "It's only natural. I'm just feeling bad because you are."

Chris smiled and nuzzled the Wolf's cheek.

"You're too good to me," Chris held Mitch's paw, "Better than I deserve."

The Wolf brought his boyfriend's hand up and bent his head down to kiss it softly.

"If there's anyone on this planet who deserves to be treated like this it's you," Mitch smiled, "I know what you've been through. You deserve nothing but happiness from me, or whoever you end up with."

Chris blinked and pulled back from the Wolf.

"Wait," Chris began, "What do you mean?"

Mitch sighed and rubbed the back of his neck.

"The reason I knew that Brutus fell in love with you is because he told me," Mitch replied, "After we went to lunch for the first time, Brutus came over to my place. He was worried about you, and told me, well, everything."

"So," Chris rubbed his arm, "That means you know about my mom."

Mitch nodded and embraced the human tightly.

"I'm sorry," Mitch began, "I'm sure that's not something you want other people to know."

Chris shook his head.

"I'm glad he told you," Chris sighed, "That means that I don't have to tell you in the future."

Mitch maintained the embrace for a while and then led the human into the bedroom. A blush crept onto the human's face as he saw Max sitting awkwardly on the bed. Mitch sat the human down and put a plate into his lap.

"I'm sorry Max," Chris began before he started eating, "I'm sorry you had to see that."

The older Dog smiled and shook his head.

"Don't worry about it, we all have moments like that every now and then," Max replied, "Eat, please, it's going to get cold soon."

Chris looked over at Mitch who was already wolfing down his meal. As Chris nuzzled up beside his boyfriend and started to eat, the Cattle Dog stretched and got up from the bed.

"I had a lot of fun you two," Max smiled, "But I should probably get home. I don't want my kid asking too many questions."

Mitch chuckled.

"Tell her we said hello and thank you for letting us have you for the night," Mitch laughed and nearly choked on a bite of egg as Chris elbowed him in the side, "What? It's only polite."

"Will do," Max winked at the pair, "Have a good day lovebirds."

Mitch and Chris waved goodbye to the Cattle Dog. As the door closed, Mitch scraped his plate clean and got up from the bed. He looked down at Chris and chuckled.

"Come on slowpoke," Mitch began, "We've got to make the most out of today."

Chris smiled and picked up the pace a little. A few moments later, Chris handed his plate to the Wolf. Mitch licked a glob of ketchup off of the plate and shot the human a grin.

"I'm going to go take care of these dishes," Mitch continued, "Are you going to drink your coffee?"

Chris shook his head and handed the cup to his boyfriend. Mitch looked it over, shrugged, and chugged the lukewarm liquid down. He wiped his mouth and let out a belch.

"I'll be right back," Mitch chuckled, "Don't go anywhere."

"Actually," Chris put up a finger, "Do you mind if I get in the shower? I want to wash some of the mess from last night off of me."

"Come on," Mitch smirked and dismissively waved his paw, "A little bit of spit and cum never hurt anyone."

Chris blushed and looked up at the Wolf.

"You can take it with me," Chris slowly rubbed over his naked thighs, "I can show you just how happy I am now that it's just the two of us."

Mitch couldn't help but stare as his mate started to feel himself up. The Wolf licked his lips and panted.

"I-I'll be right there," Mitch's tail wagged furiously behind him, "Don't get too worked up without me."

The human faked a high pitched moan as his fingers went between his legs and to his taint. Mitch gulped and ran for the kitchen. Chris giggled and got up from the bed. He walked back into the bathroom, another giggle escaping his lips as he heard the Wolf furiously washing the dishes, and stepped into the shower. He turned it on and sighed happily. He was a lucky human, he knew that for sure now.

Mitch walked into the bathroom with a towel and a swollen sheath. He composed himself and set the towel down on the counter before stepping into the shower with his mate. Chris had his back turned to the Wolf and gasped in surprise as he was pulled back into his boyfriend's strong chest. The Wolf murred and kissed gently over the human's shoulder.

"Did you miss me?" Mitch growled playfully as he teased the human's neck with his teeth, "I know I missed you."

Chris moaned submissively and pressed his rear back into the Wolf's crotch. Mitch's tail started wagging again as his paws moved to his mate's hips. He held the human in place and started to grind against him, his cock rapidly hardening against the human's backside.

"I didn't get in this shower to get dirty again baby," Chris moaned louder as the Wolf nipped along his collarbone, "Besides, shouldn't we check in on Owen?"

Mitch blinked and looked up at the human.

"Oh crap," Mitch whined, "I totally forgot about Owen!"

Chris turned around and gave his boyfriend a few quick kisses.

"Let's finish up here and give him a call," Chris began, "Then you and I can have a little bit of fun."

Mitch chuckled and reached around the human to grab some fur shampoo.

"We're going to have a lot more than a little bit of fun," Mitch slapped Chris's ass, "We're going to have a whole bunch of it."

Chris smiled and gave the Wolf another kiss before the Wolf started to shampoo himself up. Chris sighed and looked around the shower for anything he could use.

"If I'm going to be spending any more time around here," Chris began, "We're going to need to get me my own bathroom stuff."

The Wolf smiled and rinsed the suds out of his fur.

"That'll be the first thing we do when I get back," Mitch murred, "I hope you spend lots of time around here."

Chris giggled and turned back around. Mitch sighed happily and pulled the human back against him. Another bark escaped his lips as he started to lick over Chris's neck. The human closed his eyes and murred quietly in pleasure.

"I love it when you do that," Chris giggled, "It's super cute."

Mitch murred and rubbed his hips against the human.

"What's super cute?" Mitch asked with a dirty chuckle, "Not this right?"

Chris giggled and shook his head.

"That little bark thing you do," Chris began, "Why haven't I heard it before today?"

Mitch chuckled and kissed the human's cheek.

"Because I only do it when I'm super happy," Mitch replied, his tail wagging slowly, "I haven't felt like this in a long time Chris. Thank you."

Chris blushed hard and scuffed the sole of his foot on the bottom of the shower. He wasn't sure what to say. The human smiled and looked back up into the Wolf's eyes.

"If I told you I was falling in love with you," Chris began, his smile widening, "Would you do it again?"

Mitch barked happily and picked the human up into his arms. Chris giggled and moaned as Mitch's lips met his own. Mitch pulled back, his eyes twinkling, and set the human down.

"Have you finished?" Mitch asked, "We should probably call Owen up. He might be having a hard time over at the house by himself."

Chris nodded and stepped out of the shower before Mitch turned it off. The human grabbed the one towel in the bathroom and sighed.

"Are we going to share a-," Chris was interrupted by Mitch shaking his fur dry and soaking his towel, the human let out a sigh, "Towel."

Mitch grinned sheepishly.

"It can't be that wet," Mitch began, "Just tough it out. If it's too soggy you can borrow one of my dirty shirts."

Chris screwed up his face and shook his head.

"I bet it smells like wet Dog," Chris grinned, "Or week old Wolf musk."

Mitch chuckled.

"I thought you liked my musk," Mitch replied.

"What gave you that idea?" Chris asked.

"You haven't complained about it yet," Mitch shrugged, "Well, that or you just can't smell it because you smell so much like it now."

Chris blushed.

"Oh yeah," Mitch chuckled and nudged the human, "You won't have to tell your parents that you're dating someone new when you go home. They'll be able to tell the second you walk into the door."

The human sighed and dried himself off as best he could with the damp towel. That was a conversation he really wasn't looking forward to having. The Wolf walked up and put his paw on the human's shoulder.

"I'm sorry," Mitch kissed Chris's cheek, "I'm know that's still a touchy subject."

Chris blinked and shook his head.

"No it's ok," Chris kissed the Wolf back, "You just reminded me that I still have to let my parents know. That'll be fun. I'm sure my mom will be glad to hear it."

"Why?" Mitch asked, "Did something happen?"

"She wasn't too happy I was dating someone with FHIV," The human sighed, "We had a little bit of an argument."

Mitch whined and nuzzled the human's cheek.

"I'm sorry," Mitch began, "I think she'll be happy as long as you are. No matter who you date. If they make you happy and make your life better. She'll be happy for you."

Chris smiled.

"Thanks Mitch," Chris scratched behind one of the Wolf's ears, "You're a real sweetheart."

The human wrapped his towel around his waist and left the bathroom. Mitch paraded out behind him, totally naked, and walked over to his discarded pants on the floor. After a few moments of searching through his pockets, he pulled out his phone and sat on the bed. Chris started to redress, but stopped when Mitch held up a paw.

"Wait until we call him," Mitch began, "I'd rather you didn't get dressed unless you had to."

Chris rolled his eyes and flicked his underwear off. The Wolf murred and called Owen.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The Deer groaned and nearly fell out of bed as he sleepily rolled over to grab his phone. His hand slapped his nightstand a few times as he blindly groped for his phone. After what seemed like an eternity, he was able to pick it up and answer it.

"Hello," Owen groaned, "Who is this?"

The Deer slowly sat up and opened his eyes. He was hungover, bad, and his whole body hurt. He hadn't managed to strip completely before bed, and was still wearing his blue and green briefs and white tee-shirt from the night before.

"It's Mitch," The Wolf began, "I didn't wake you up did I?"

Owen shook his head and stifled a yawn.

"No, no," Owen replied, "I've been up for hours."

"Good," Mitch chuckled, "Do you need help cleaning up your house?"

Owen dangled his leg off of the bed. He mentally swore as he saw how far away his wheelchair was.

"Let me check," Owen said, "I'll text you if I do."

Owen hung up the phone and set it down beside him on the mattress. He bent forward and reached out for his chair, but was a few inches off from the handle. He huffed and tried again, this time falling off the bed and landing on the ground with a hard thump. Owen cried out in pain, and cradled his arm. The Deer's ears twitched as he picked up the sound of someone running into the room.

"Owen?" Brutus whined and stood at the Deer's bedroom door fully clothed, "Are you ok?"

Owen groaned and sat up against the side of his bed. The Dalmatian sighed and moved the Deer's chair closer to the bed. A sigh escaped Owen's lips as he looked down at his stump.

"I don't think I'm ever going to get used to it," Owen sighed and nuzzled into the Dalmatian as Brutus held him gently, "Is it always going to be this hard?"

Brutus sighed and shook his head.

"You'll get used to it," Brutus began, "Besides, soon enough you'll have your prosthetic. Then you won't need the chair anymore."

Owen nodded.

"That day can't come soon enough," Owen replied, "I'm just glad I get the first one at home. At least then if I fall down and bust my other leg I won't have to sit in the house alone for too long."

The Dalmatian frowned.

"That's not funny," Brutus began, "Being negative isn't going to help you at all. You've just got to tough it out."

Owen chuckled and nodded.

"So what's the apartment look like?" Owen asked, "I bet it's a fucking disaster."

Brutus shook his head.

"No I cleaned it for you," Brutus began, "Don't worry about it."

Owen blinked.

"You cleaned up for me?" Owen asked, "Why?"

"Because I said I would," Brutus chuckled, "Don't you remember?"

Owen sheepishly looked up at the Dalmatian and shook his head.

"I had a lot to drink last night," Owen began, "I don't remember anything past kissing you."

The Deer blushed and rubbed his arm.

"I um, didn't do anything foolish right?" Owen continued, "I tend to be a bit, open, when I drink."

Brutus smiled.

"You didn't do anything until everyone else left," The Dalmatian replied, "You asked me to spend the night, and for my help cleaning."

"That doesn't seem too bad," Owen chuckled, "Unless I did something else."

"You then tried to get me to sleep with you," Brutus laughed, "I declined, slept on the couch, woke up early, and cleaned up for you. I even made breakfast."

The Deer didn't know what to say. Brutus had done so much for him over the past few days, arguably more than all but his closest friends had done for him in his life. Owen leaned up and kissed the Dog's cheek.

"I'm glad I kissed you last night," Owen smiled, "If anyone deserves it, it's you."

Brutus blushed.

"Let's get you some breakfast," The Dalmatian began, "Do you need help getting into the chair?"

Owen shook his head and crawled over to his wheelchair. He pulled himself into it and sat down. Brutus stood up and, ignoring the Deer's protests, pushed him into the kitchen. The Deer smiled and relaxed, nuzzling up into Brutus's arm.

"Someone's awful cuddly this morning," Brutus chuckled as he wheeled the Deer to the kitchen table, "I used up a box of pancake mix I found. I hope you don't mind."

Owen nodded and rubbed his head. The Dalmatian chuckled and loaded up two plates of pancakes. He slid the one without butter towards the Deer. Owen gasped and reached for the butter.

"What are you doing?" Brutus chuckled and slid the butter out of the Deer's reach. His eyes widened as he realized he screwed up. "Vegans can't eat butter, or eggs for that matter. Damnit I'm sorry, I'll make you a salad or something."

Owen crossed his arms and shook his head.

"That was Tyler's thing," Owen replied, "I only did it to impress him."

Brutus smirked and passed the Deer the butter. Owen mumbled a thank you and slapped down a hefty chunk of butter on his pancakes. The Deer started to devour his plate of breakfast. When he cleaned his plate a short time later, his muzzle fur was soaked with syrup and butter. Brutus chuckled and handed the Deer a napkin.

"You missed butter that much huh?" Brutus asked as the Deer cleaned himself up, "I'll remind myself to keep a large supply handy in case you ever visit."

Owen chuckled and cleaned himself off to the best of his abilities. He finished and set the napkin down on the table. With a blush, he reached forward and took Brutus's paw in his hand. The Dalmatian finished the bite he was chewing and smiled at the Deer.

"I want to thank you again," Owen sighed, "You've been such a huge help."

Brutus held up a paw.

"You don't have to thank me Owen," Brutus began, "It can be rough getting back into the swing of things after coming back from the hospital. It's nice to help someone else get through it."

Owen sighed.

"You might be the only guy I know who would though," Owen shook his head, "I can't think of anyone who would clean my place for me."

Brutus shook his head.

"I'm sure Mitch would," Brutus began, "Mitch and Chris would help you out in a heartbeat."

Owen practically jumped out of his chair.

"Oh shit!" Owen cried out in pain as he hit his knee on the table, "I forgot to text Mitch back."

Brutus grimaced at the sound of the impact. Owen grumbled and rubbed his knee, biting back tears as he did. The Dalmatian checked over the Deer and stood up from his seat.

"Where's it at?" Brutus asked, "I'll go get it for you."

"The bed," Owen looked up at the Dalmatian and sighed, "Thanks again."

Brutus made a mental note to come back and see what was bothering the Deer. The Dalmatian walked into the bedroom and fetched the Deer's phone. Owen smiled gratefully as Brutus handed him his phone. The phone beeped loudly as Owen dialed the Wolf's number and put the phone to his ear.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Mitch howled in ecstasy as he thrust into Chris one last time and came, hard. Chris blushed and panted as his boyfriend collapsed on top of him. They had, in a moment of desire, decided to make love on the floor of the Wolf's bedroom. It was fun, really hot, and passionate. Three of Mitch's criteria for any type of fling to be considered a successful nookie session. Chris rubbed his lower back and groaned.

"I think you gave me rug burn," Chris began, "My back stings something fierce."

Mitch sheepishly licked Chris's neck.

"Sorry," He replied, "I didn't think I was going that hard."

Chris scoffed.

"You were," Chris chuckled and kissed the Wolf's cheek, "Do you mind if we get off of the carpet? It's really uncomfortable."

Mitch's phone rang from the nightstand. The Wolf grumbled and looked up at it.

"Looks like we don't have much of a choice," Mitch sighed, "Now, we've got to figure out how to do this."

Chris blushed.

"We did alright last night," Chris looked down at their entangled legs, "Although, this position is a bit more complicated."

Mitch sighed and nuzzled Chris's neck. The Wolf wormed the pair closer to the nightstand, grimacing and whining in discomfort the whole way. Chris bit his lip, and hardly managed to hold back a groan of pain as Mitch reached up for the phone.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

"Owen," Mitch began,"Do you need our help?"

"Tell Owen I say hi Mitch," The human interjected.

Owen chuckled and smiled.

"Hi Chris," Owen frowned as he saw Brutus sigh and look away, "I don't need you guys to come over. Brutus took care of everything."

"That's great!" Mitch replied, "We've got to go. We're a bit, tied up at the moment. Tell Brutus thanks and to have a happy holiday. From the both of us."

Owen nodded and hung up. The Dalmatian whined quietly and rubbed his arm.

"I'm sorry," Owen began, "I didn't know that they'd be...you know."

Brutus nodded.

"It's just going to take a little getting used to," Brutus sighed, "It'll just take a little bit of time."

"Are you ok?" Owen asked, "You seem really bothered."

Brutus sighed.

"It's nothing," The Dalmatian replied, "Don't worry about it."

"Bullshit," Owen scoffed, "Come on, tell me what's going on."

Brutus whined and looked up at the Deer. It couldn't hurt to tell Owen what he was feeling. He seemed nice enough. Far nicer than a mere friend should have been.

"It just hurts," Brutus sighed, "It hurts a lot."

Owen looked over at the couch.

"Want to sit down and talk about it?" Owen asked, "I may not be able to help much, but I'm a good listener."

Brutus smiled and nodded. Brutus and Owen walked across the living room to the Deer's sofa. Owen transferred himself from his wheelchair to the couch. He smiled, this was the smoothest transition he'd had so far. Maybe this wheelchair thing wasn't so bad after all. Brutus didn't share the smile, and held one of the couch pillows tightly to his chest.

"Here," Owen removed the pillow and replaced it with his torso, "Why don't you hold on to me instead?"

Brutus hesitated for a moment and lifted the Deer closer to him. The Deer smiled up at the Dog from his lap until the Dalmatian started to cry.

"Why'd he have to leave me Owen?" Brutus sniffled, "I was nothing but good to him. What did I do to deserve being thrown aside like a piece of trash?"

Owen stammered. He really didn't know what to say. Part of him wanted to talk smack about the human, and release his own anger about the situation. The other part of him, the one that told him that it was probably a very good idea to kiss the Dog again and that the best way to do that was to simply console the Dalmatian, said otherwise. The latter part won out.

"I don't think he knows why Brutus," Owen sighed, "He made his choice, and I know it hurts now, but maybe it's for the best."

Brutus rubbed Owen's shoulders, his fingers running through the Deer's short fur. Brutus looked down, and smiled at the Deer. He was enjoying this. He hadn't really been close to someone like this since Thanksgiving.

"If he was willing to dump you just like that," Owen snapped his fingers for effect, "He's not worth your time and effort. You should be with people who respect you more than that."

Brutus bent his head a little, and got closer to the Deer.

"Like who?" Brutus chuckled, "It's going to be hard to find someone who's willing to respect someone with FHIV."

Owen blushed.

"I'm sure they're out there," Owen replied, "I think I know a few guys myself."

Brutus murred and bent his head until his lips were only a couple of inches from the Deer's.

"Oh yeah?" Brutus began, "Do you think they can handle dating a guy like me?"

Owen's ears flicked in anticipation. He curled his fingers into the fabric of the Dalmatian's sweater and pulled himself closer.

"I can try," Owen replied before pressing his lips against the Dog's.

Brutus closed his eyes, his paws moving down the Deer's back as they shared a tender kiss. Owen blushed hard and pulled away from the kiss.

"Brutus," Owen whimpered, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that."

"Why?" Brutus asked, "You were just being honest."

Owen nuzzled up to the Dog's chest.

"I'm not doing this because I'm not what I used to be Brutus," Owen sighed, "I've had a crush on you for a while. Ever since Russell first told me about you."

Brutus chuckled.

"I wasn't worried about that," Brutus began, "I'll take a good guy or girl however I can get them."

"Even if they're like me?" Owen asked.

Brutus nuzzled the Deer's muzzle and planted a kiss on his nose. Owen's breath caught in his throat as the Dog gave what was remaining of his right thigh a tender stroke with his fingers. It felt weird to be touched down there like that, but Owen really didn't mind.

"If by like me, you mean caring, sweet, and cute," Brutus smiled and pulled his paw back, "Then yes."

Owen took a deep breath and opened his mouth to speak.

"Owen," Brutus sighed, "I appreciate the interest, but I'm not ready for a relationship just yet."

Owen crossed his arms.

"How'd you know that's what I was going to say?" Owen huffed, "Maybe I was going to say you're too fat to be my type."

Brutus looked down at his toned and muscular body and burst out laughing.

"So I guess that means we can add funny to the list of things I like about you," Brutus smiled, "I want to Owen. Just not yet."

Owen opened his mouth for a snarky remark, but shut it as he realized what the Dalmatian had said. He smiled broadly and gave the Dog a nudge.

"That explains why you're so intent on kissing me all the time," Owen chuckled, "I'll accept that Brutus. I'll be patient."

Brutus squeezed the Deer's hand.

"I really appreciate that," Brutus began, "Just give me some time to move on from Chris."

Owen looked up at the Dog.

"Did you love him?" Owen clapped a hand over his mouth as he realized what he said, "Oh my god, I don't answer that."

Brutus chuckled and kissed the Deer's forehead.

"I did," Brutus began, "It's ok Owen."

Owen nodded and sighed.

"What's it like?" Owen asked, "I've never been in love before. Everyone says something different about it, so I don't even have the faintest idea what it's like."

Brutus sighed and thought for a moment.

"That's because it's different with everyone," Brutus replied, "For some people, it's so powerful it drives them to do things for that person that they'd never dream of doing otherwise. For others, they don't know they have it until it's gone."

"What was yours like?" Owen nuzzled up to the Dog's chest, "How did it feel?"

Brutus smiled and looked down at the Deer.

"Like this," Brutus leaned down to kiss the Deer's forehead, "Just being happy and secure, but feeling like it all the time."

Owen thought about what the Dog had said and closed his eyes.

"Then I can't wait until I fall in love," Owen smiled, "Because this is wonderful."

Brutus put his head back against the couch and relaxed. Owen stayed where he was for a few more moments before he felt something crawl into his grey matter, desire. Owen got off of the Dog's lap and sat beside him. Brutus was a bit taller than him, something Owen just now started to appreciate as he looked over the Dog's defined jawline. The Dog looked over at him, an eyebrow raised quizzically.

"What's going on?" Brutus asked, "Everything ok?"

Owen nodded.

"I know you said you weren't ok with dating yet," Owen blushed hard, "What about other stuff?"

"Other stuff?" Brutus sighed, "Owen you know that I have FHIV. There's not too much we can do right here."

The Deer rubbed his arm.

"I know," Owen blushed, "We don't have to go that far. Look, I really like you Brutus ok. I want to do this."

Brutus nuzzled the Deer's cheek. Owen shivered as the Dog started to kiss the side of his muzzle. The Dog kissed back to Owen's ear, which trembled as the Dog kissed the base of it. Brutus's tail wagged. At least this would take his mind off of Chris.

"Are you sure?" Brutus murred into the Deer's ear, "I might be a bit hard to handle."

Owen took a deep breath and reached down to grope the Dog's package through the front of his jeans. He chuckled, feeling bold, and murred into Brutus's ear.

"Doesn't feel too hard to me," Owen replied, "I think I'll be just fine."

Brutus growled dominantly and rapidly moved in for a kiss. The Deer tried to put up a fight, trying to push back against the Dog's wide and strong tongue, but submitted with a high pitched moan as Brutus's white fingers rubbed under the back of his underwear. Brutus pulled away from the make out session in order to catch his breath.

"Let me get these jeans off," Brutus murred and started to unbuckle his pants, "But first."

Brutus reached over with his free paw and snaked his paw into the Deer's shirt. Owen blushed hard and moaned. He pulled away, rolled the tee-shirt off, and got back into the Dog's lap as Brutus was kicking his jeans away. The front of the Dog's black boxers were already bulged and soaked with pre. Owen blushed hard and ground his own arousal against the Dog's.

Their lips and tongues met again as Owen's fingers rubbed down the Dog's powerful chest and abs to grope the Dalmatian's bulge. Brutus growled and laid the Deer on his back, his hips thrusting against the Deer's clothed rump. Owen whimpered in pleasure as Brutus pulled away with a chuckle.

"Looks like I've got you right where I want you," Brutus chuckled and stopped the motion of his hips, "I guess I'm in charge."

Owen looked up at the Dog with a blush. His cock was already hard and throbbing, tenting the front of his briefs. Brutus chuckled and started stroking the Deer off through the fabric, making him moan and squirm underneath him. He enjoyed being in this position again. He was the dom, the stud, the one that Furs turned their asses to and begged to taste. Chris only got this treatment once. Brutus chuckled, it was his loss.

"Any requests?" Brutus smirked, his paw reaching down to tease the Deer's balls through his briefs, "Or am I just allowed to have free reign."

Owen blushed hard.

"I urm," Owen began, "Need to tell you something first."

Brutus chuckled and kissed down the Deer's neck.

"Mmm, go ahead," Brutus murred as he started to nibble, "I'm listening."

"I urm, got my FHIV shot," Owen rubbed the back of his neck, "I was worried about getting it, so I went into the clinic when I first got to school and got it done."

Brutus's tail started wagging. Furs had a vaccine that they could take if they were at risk for this disease, one that protected from the common strains, while humans had to go through a specialized drug regime in order to get the same effects for only one variation. Brutus murred, it meant that, with using a condom and antiviral lube, the chances of Owen getting infected were close to none.

"You did hold on to the supplies they gave you right?" Brutus chuckled and nibbled over the Deer's shoulder.

Owen moaned louder and wrapped himself around the Dog. He meeped and nodded as Brutus slowly moved lower.

"Good," Brutus murred, "Is it in your bedroom?"

Owen blushed hard and nodded again.

"I'll be right back," Brutus moved back up to give the Deer three, very sloppy, kisses.

As he was finishing up with the last one, the door opened. Owen's eyes went wide and tried to warn Brutus, but was stopped in his tracks when the Dog ground forward against him again. The Deer moaned loudly, his sound quickly getting swallowed up by Brutus's mouth. He closed his eyes and arched his back, trying to get as much stimulation from the Dog's movements as possible.

"Brutus?" Chris nearly whined as he saw the two entangled bodies on the couch.

The Dalmatian panted and looked up from the moaning Deer. Mitch came in behind the human, a reassuring paw placed on his shoulder. With a gasp, Owen blushed hard and did his best to hide himself from their view.

"Is," Chris gulped, "Is this a bad time?"

"What is it Chris?" Brutus looked at the human intently.

"We," Chris rubbed his arm and looked away, "Just wanted to say goodbye."

Brutus was pleased the human was getting a taste of his own medicine. Maybe now his ex-boyfriend would understand what it felt like when he saw Mitch and Chris together. Chris walked around the corner, doing his best to hide the tears in his eyes. Mitch sighed.

"We're sorry to have walked in," Mitch began, "We should have called first."

Owen poked his head over the arm of the sofa.

"It's ok," Owen replied, "Is Chris ok?"

"I'm fine," Chris called out from around the corner, "I'm glad Brutus is taking care of you."

Brutus growled as Owen recoiled from the harsh comment.

"We're through Chris," Brutus began, "If you've got a problem with what I do now that I'm single, talk to me. Leave them out of it."

Chris walked around the corner, his cheeks flushed with anger.

"It's not my problem if you're jealous," Brutus continued, "You need to take this like a man, not like some middle school kid. Deal with it. I know I have."

Chris's face softened, and tears came to his eyes.

"It doesn't feel nice," Brutus scoffed, "Does it Chris? Doesn't it just rip your heart out? I know it did for me. Maybe now you'll realize that your actions affect more than just you. I hope the next time you do something like you did to me, you'll show your partner more respect."

Tears welled up in Chris's eyes.

"Goodbye," Brutus began, "I wish you the best. Please don't contact me after this."

Chris rubbed his arm and walked out of the room, speechless. Mitch sighed and shook his head as the outside door closed.

"Do you have something to say Mitch?" Brutus asked, "Make it quick."

The Wolf sighed.

"Chris just learned a very hard lesson," Mitch began, "I think he'll thank you one day."

"That doesn't matter to me," Brutus replied, "Maybe now he'll act like a better human being. One who thinks about what his actions will make people feel."

Owen ran his fingers over the Dog's back and shoulders soothingly.

"I'll see you after break guys," Mitch paused, "He did love you Brutus, you know that right?"

Brutus sighed and nodded.

"That's what made it hurt so much."
