#8 of Role Plays

Well...Finally got back to this RP, and I say it is only going to get better from here. We left off where Vaxil was trading Render off to Kur'si, who would be traveling to Grasmere to talk to Colby about getting Render back home, as if that was easy. Then we have Rintaru, Foxy and Kuroda on their watermill with Rintaru going into rut, but what could cause that? Surely not the hot chocolate he had? Up near the North we have Cedric, Klin and Kyo making their way slowly towards Grasmere to rest and sort themselves out while in the town of Hen'lai, things are starting to get tense with the arrival of Tanuki and the eventual appearance of the Black Knight. Later on we have the introduction of Hiccup and his Nightfury friend toothless along with a few new characters from Madam Poodle and myself. And during Panic journey, we find a pair of wolves in a mountain range, where they are conveniently placed for him to kill....what? I want to give him a fighting chance against the more powerful people on my world... From here on out things can only get more complicated. The attached picture is something I roughly drew up for representation of the city of Grasmere where Cedric, Klin and Kyo are heading, where Colby and his mate Cavynthra are sleeping and Hiccup, Toothless and Lyria reside within.

** ** Both dragons looked at the monkey with sword in hand, not saying anything except looking back at each other momentarily. Vaxil then nodded to Kur'si before standing up, padding up next to him with their wings partially touching. "Don't do anything to upset him if you can. Just get him to Colby so he can take him home, simple as that." Vaxil said to his companion before walking forward a few steps to take off in pursuit of some dragons and gryphon's to gather. Kur'si turned his head away from watching the bigger dark green dragon fly away to look at Render who was in turn staring at him.

After some tense moments Kur'si spread his right wing and extended his right leg in a greeting. "Hello, my name is Kur'si," The small dragon said, lowering his neck and folding his wing onto his back so that Render could get on. He was a little nervous around the monkey but he tried to not let it show, even as his blue tail flicked from side to side. Waiting patiently, he peered up to see Vaxil already flying from a cave with a golden yellow dragon beside him. For him to bring Sunray must mean he is not taking any chances, even if he is around my age. That dragon has the potential to become a strong defender from what I have seen.

When he felt that Render was settled on his back he stood up, partially spreading his wings and placing the same spell Vaxil did so he did not fall. Taking a slow walk, he began trotting before flapping his wings and pushing off with his hind legs. His takeoff was not as smooth as Vaxil's but once they were up in the air gliding, it was not as rough. Going back out from Dragon Valley and circling around the mountain range would take too long, so he decided to fly over the lake and follow the river leading between the mountains.

In the town of Hen'lai, everyone was asleep save for a few Night Drakes prowling in the alleys. They were a relative of the dragon, dark scales or leather-plated bodies with no wings. They were peaceful for the most part but did not serve as pets or companions. Erik and Jacen had been surveying the town for any more hints of who the person could have been who had cracked the fountain. They had visited the innkeeper earlier and he had shown them a bag of gold, giving a description of the person wearing a long-collar black jacket with a red Umenori-type Hakama and a blue scarf with black padded gloves. He also said his face did not look like a humans, more to that of a raccoons.

With that in mind, Jacen kept to the roofs while Erik roamed the streets. Even though the Night Drakes did not like being companions or pets, they were crucial in defending the town as they could send messages through the shadows to other people who have earned their trust. Erik would occasionally stop in an alleyway to see if a drake spotted someone to that of the description, but so far no one had come up. By now his companion Kur'si has taken Render and is flying through the mountain range to reach Colby while Vaxil gets his brother Nizar to follow him. As it would be, he is a black dragon like Calemvir though more ash gray than black.

In one shop near the center of town slept a small brown dragon similar to Rintaru with the ability to change his size. The drake was considerably younger while drowsing on the countertop with various travelling items on display including canteens on the right wall where the dragon slept. His tail flicked over the counter, swinging in the air as his left paw did the same. A soft purr came from him as he enjoyed the nighttime air. He was not guarding the shop as things were free, but he liked sleeping in the open instead of inside nonetheless.

Kuroda listened as Foxy answered, turning to catch her wallet that she threw to him. He was hesitant to see what it held but she had said she was a police officer and weapons operative, the whip making it obvious. He had never heard of the New X Metropolitan Police, so he guessed she came from a different world, which would explain her attitude earlier having found out she was not at home anymore. He looked up when she asked a question to him, nodding his head politely, tossing the wallet back with only a quick look inside. "Yes, there are towels in the bathroom and soaps as well as salts. Take as long as you need to. I will be upstairs if you need anything," Kuroda replied, walking out the door, passing Rintaru to head upstairs. Rintaru was still eating his fish on the table and would be immersed in his supper for about ten minutes without noticing if anyone went by.

Cedric looked back while still walking as night fell, listening to his question. "Yes," He replied, turning to concentrate on walking for a while. "You see, everyone on this planet has suffered some kind of loss or tragedy in their lives. When Colby started gathering people to fight a war against his false sister, I was one of the first to join him. Even when he defeated her, the Darkness came and we were outnumbered and overpowered. He began visiting other worlds to bring people sympathetic to the cause to aid him," Cedric explained, probably in more detail than asked while the stars shone bright in the night sky, faintly illuminating the city in the distance.

"It was hard, but the Darkness was subdued inside a black ball crafted by Colby and the ten Guardians to seal him away for an unknown amount of time. He then created this planet so that they could have peace. They were given a choice to stay if they had nothing left where they came from or they could return to their homes. Every person received a coin where they could contact Colby if they needed any help. For the people who stayed here, just satisfaction that they are helping others hand in hand is good enough. No doubt arguments will rise up in time and governments and money will make itself known, but for now we live in peace." Cedric finished, probably boring Klin and Kyo at the explanation.

"Interesting, very interesting," Maurel said to himself, moving his right hand over a feather. It had taken him a few hours to finally make some sense of where the feathers came from, but now he knew that sorcerer had ridden a unique bird to get to his farm. "If only I could use them to track where he is," Maurel muttered, switching the feather in front of him for a different one. "But, I could see it would be difficult to catch up to him with how fast they go." He said, leaning back in the chair to scratch his head. Night was falling and he had had a long couple of days with the attack and all. Maybe he could get Venro to get a scent from these feathers to track him...No, he must be far gone by now, and he did not know if there would be anything on them for even a gryphon's nose to go on.

His research was interrupted though as something made itself known to his left on the floor. He put the current feather in front of him with the others and looked down in the direction it came from to see what distracted him. What he sees is the cat from earlier, looking up at him with pleading eyes. "When did you?" He said, turning the chair to face the cat head on. He only stares at the cat, not knowing what to do. He looked over to where his staff was, not moving his head. Whatever this cat wanted could wait; he did not even know where it came from. "Wait," He said, placing his left hand on the armrest and moving his right hand to his chin while leaning forward to look at the cat more closely. "I saw you after that sorcerer left...Could you, be one of his spells he summoned?" He muttered to himself, scratching his head before leaning back in the chair.

Aurora decided to take a closer look to see who could be near the Tree of Life as no one has ever travelled this far yet. She spread her orange and blue wings, hopping from one branch to another until she was far enough out that her vision was not impeded by leaves. Her breathing was calm as her red and white chest billowed in and out easily. It was still too far and dark to make out the gender of the person but she would find that out in time. The temperatures dropped a good bit when it was night out so she should not let whomever it is lie on the ground for too long. Once again, she extended her colorful wings and dropped off the branch, letting the wind hold her aloft while she spread her blue and white tail feathers to balance herself. The night sky had turned into magnificent purple and dark red with faint oranges and yellows. It would take awhile to reach the knoll, so she glided on silent wings on the night sky, enjoying the breeze against her feathers.

Lying under the starry sky in front of the city with his mate next to him was definitely comforting. Propped up against Cavynthra's flank while enjoying the last rays of the sun and listening to the sounds of the city while breathing in the fresh scent of the air around him was very relaxing. Cavynthra was sleeping already, her wing hanging over my head to make it seem I was in a living cave looking out into the night. To be honest, I was afraid of what would happen when we found the sorcerer who had battled against Maurel and Lish'ua. I did not know what I would do with myself if she was hurt while she was in the condition she was in.

She was now twelve years old and had gone into her first heat. We had spent two weeks mating with each other in many different positions, on the ground, in the air, on our backs. She has been gravid for a little over a month, and now all these complications pop up where they could be flying around, waiting until she was ready to lay. In truth, I had trained her well enough to protect herself, her fire fierce, and her claws deadly. Her scales were not as hard as they were in her old body, but they were sure to harden as she grew older. I loved her like nothing else; I wanted nothing more than to please her.

I knew evil would never rest, and neither shall I. There were at least three threats I knew about, partially counting the Black Knight if what I heard correctly, he should be going after the one who cracked the fountain and or the sorcerer. I did not know if I could trust him or not, but right now there were things I had to do. In the morning, I will find out if anyone had seen the sorcerer come this way. If not, I would have to either go back to see how Erik and Jacen were doing or go to Gudon so he could help me. No matter what choice I make, I will be sure to protect Cavynthra until she can travel no longer. After that, we will go back to the Tree of Life so she can lay her egg and we can keep watch over it. Even if I want to find those two people, I care more about Cavynthra's safety and health than running around trying to find a sorcerer and an anthro raccoon.

Madam Poodle:

** ** As Render saw Vaxil off to his dragon business, it left only Kur'si there with him. Render did notice the difference in height between the two, though; he'd draw no conclusion from it in terms of difference. Narrowly, he returned his head forward, returning sword to its sheath, and then proceeding toward the drake as he tied the sheathe to the barred hilt, so that his sword wouldn't pop back out during physical activity or flight. This time around, Render was much more... silent and short-worded than with Vaxil. He was quite the touch more calm now that he's had more time to think, though he still holds true to his thoughts. He'd then mount as he finished tying, and made his introduction straightforward and brief.

"Render Gillian Williams. I'm a member of the Assassin's Guild of the Kingdom of Iresselia. You probably want to get this over and done with just the same as I, so let's get on with it. I trust you know the way, and won't make any sudden detours unless necessary? If so, then we should be on our way."

He said at the end of his sentence, having mounted himself already to Kur'si, and stayed roughly silent ever since as they took off for flight. For the while as they began take off it was still just that, no speech, and not a peep from the monkey. The ride was still a bit tough, with air resistance and flappy locks to contend with, but it wasn't the worst he's been through. Once again, it was a nighttime flight, which would bring to memory the first.

It had taken quite awhile to traverse town at night and by foot. However, it was little different than traversing a large futuristic metropolis at night; the difference being the look, atmosphere, and amount of lighting. Nonetheless, Tanuki kept his path true, walking straight, efficient paths, taking shortcuts when possible, and keeping close, but non-prying eyes out for anything out of the ordinary, although, that being said, normally there are more people about the nighttime in towns even such as this or such is usually what he's used to seeing. This put him into a bit of a higher caution, eyes and ears all about, looking out for signs of odd figures, sudden noises, or signs of ambush. Even though he took a mighty precaution to his trek, this is nothing he hasn't dealt with before now. While the spirit within him was far dormant, it was like having a second set of senses other than his own keeping watch of the surrounding area.

Before too long, a shop did come into view of him, drawing him without pause to it. Upon it, he saw a dragon upon the desk about the size of a large dog, sleeping. His head still glancing around, he did on the inside find this strange, as the times ahead where he comes from, dragons have been long extinct. Seeing one surely brought a curious thought to his mind before he would knock on the desk three times near the head of the dragon sleeping there to get his attention. He was, as his mind is, too honest and benevolent to steal anything or cause any trouble, especially for containers to store water. But even if he didn't have to pay for them, he relented going behind the desk to grab them himself, waking the dragon up sleeping there was going to be his means of asking for assistance, eyes yet still watchful. He did take notice that dragons do look like reptilian creatures, as people had often claimed they did.

Before Hen'lai in the forest, the Black Knight, as always, charged along at high-speed, taking well to clear paths in between the trees. For haste reasons, a few trees were felled, causing defoliage barely worthy of being miniscule. Trees too had souls, but were barely anything to the knight, and there wouldn't be enough of them in the world to bring anything significant to the realm of souls defined by the knight as the Netherworld, or Nether for short. Normally, people would be lost this far into the forest, but this is the Black Knight we're talking about; he knows his way around, and even if he doesn't, he finds a way. All he had to do was follow this trace of energy he was feeling from the direction he was going. Although, when he really got to scan it as he got closer, he notice this presence was as weak as when he picked up on it farther away. He knew he was closer to it only by retaining the ability to pinpoint where this presence was coming from.

Trotting hard and fast in the tempo of the music of riding, the knight was coming for him.

Having caught her wallet back in hand, she didn't bother to put it back in her pocket, as she would not be putting the outfit back on right away. On the nightstand it went for now, she'd spend one of those estimated 10 minutes or so getting up, and stretching from having been in bed all day. Careful ears heard as the man quelled up the stairs, waiting a bit to actually prepare to get going. In the meantime, she tidied up a bit, picking her badges up off the floor and sheets, also setting them on the nightstand, placing them in their recommended order, horizontally opposed as they had been on her torso.

With a quick flick of the long tail on her back, she took a deep breath, and then silently and delicately walked over, and opened the door. Remembering Kuroda's directions, she'd know which door to leave out of, and basically sailed smoothly from there. 'Straight to the wall, turn right from here, walk toward the back door, and destination on the left,' she noted mentally as she passed by each reference point. According to Kuroda's directions, this was the bathroom. Just to make sure, she peered in slowly, checking first if it was indeed a bathroom, and second if anyone was in here, though doubt already arouse from the fact she remembers at least one of the other two telling her they were the only ones who really lived on this property. Peering around and seeing no one, and that it was clearly a bathroom, she let herself in slimly, and shut the door quietly behind her; nervous shivers plaguing her body as she did so. After some time, the faucet began to run, and steam soon began to pour from the crevice under the door.

While it was half true of being bored by this story of the world, Kyo actually took the time to listen to this story, having heard longer from his father as he has a knack for telling long, over-stretched stories. Klin, on the other hand could have simply asked for a book if he wanted to know all this. Kyo actually thought such story told of quite a feat only thought to be accomplished by deities and immortals.

"... Yeah, a simple 'yes' or 'no' would have answered my question, thank you." Said Klin in his now trendy tone of irritance.

He had no hard feelings against the guy, and you can't exactly hate the guy who healed you, but getting a simple yes or no didn't seem to come without storytelling and unnecessary explanation. Nonetheless, they continued on once more, Kyo once more asking another question. This included the city nearby being Grasmere.

"Hey, Cedric, that doesn't happen to be Grasmere over there, does it? Is there something special in Grasmere? A capital, maybe? It seems rather, large and exquisitely built."

"Just like where we were back home?" Kyo said with interjection from Klin after he finished.

Klin then got in a look himself, and such was true of it. It did seem like a rather big city. The architecture was clearly not the same, but other than that, it was very similar in the look of it.

"Damn. That is huge just like home." He said, seeming surprised by that as they tread along closer toward the city.

Inside Grasmere, someone was asking around for directions to any notable stead in the city were important figures might be staying. This someone? This someone was a stranger to the people, for she was all sorts of physically different, with the neat pale-blonde hair, and ears as long and wide as large cucumbers. Eyes as blue as ice crystals, and a body as supple as carrot. Clothes that were well chosen for showing high class, gauntlets that gave protection, and a sword worth noting on the waist of this person. This person always talked formally, and skipped little on the manners. This person of question, turned up to be none other than that of young prince and queen-to-be: Royal family member, Lyria of the Kingdom of Iresselia.

At this time, Lyria was about 15 or so: the historical point in time where she was crowned prince of her country. She'd been walking around Grasmere for a couple days now, but hasn't gotten anywhere. So far, all she's gotten is as far as Colby's identity and inferences to his location and whereabouts. Nonetheless, she kept asking around. However, it was quite late this day as well, and soon, she came to be led to a place where someone like Colby maybe inclined to stay, should he visit, and want to. As such, she went in, and, no less, waited, show or no show from the person of interest.

The second and only other feather Maurel would put before him was the feather of the bird Panic! did ride there the night of the raid. And the scent of the feathers was only the scent of the feather. Even the most skilled of sniffers would only be able to pick up the scent of something like this from about 100 yards away: about the length of a football field. However...

The cat that sat below, not understanding a word he said, meowed again. It was only a kitten, so it naturally depended on people regardless. Maurel stared, and the cat stared back. Like a kitten, small and supple it appeared. Aside from the already visible pure black coat with no shine, yellow eyes that seemed to glow, and a mouth normally only visible when it opens, the cat was lean, and perky. If looked upon closely, its hind legs were longer than its front legs, which were good for legwork in cats, especially during running and jumping. Its claws, although quite sharp, were normal like those of cats. However, this was about all that was noteworthy, for the kitten lacked any other features.

Even after being told to wait, again, something it doesn't understand, it mewed again. While it may have seemed like begging was all it really seemed to exhibit, the cat had actually taken quite a good look at what Maurel was doing right then. Before Maurel could shout 'eureka,' the cat plopped back, and, somehow did exactly what the other was doing. It even got sitting on something right, though there was nothing but floor to sit on, and if one looked closely at that, the cat's tushie was sitting on absolutely nothing but air. Because it was a practically perfect representation of what Maurel was doing right then, the cat was no longer looking the other in the eye, and instead at the floor, only replicating where Maurel was staring, and in the cat's case, that meant pretty much only the floor. It was now doing as Maurel was doing, and would only change when the other did.

It was here Megumi remained particularly unconscious. It was quite awhile before anything really happened with her body, being close to a death-like state with absolutely no body movement and narrowly sufficient breathing, in terms of normal people. However, after some time had passed after this phoenix had been airborne, her body limped briefly, and then slowly lifted off the ground, and became upright. Even with her body upright after another while, her body still seemed deadened. Her upper body was slumped over her lower body for a bit, and froze like that for awhile, before it slowly, and once again began to lift, her face and body slowly starting to show some kind of life. By the time the other would have gotten into view, Megumi was being now upright. Having been in her armor, she'd look rather ridiculous, but also somewhat strange and a bit scary. She then began muttering things in a rather monotone, robotic manner.

"... Damage was sustained during last record of activity. Damage inquiry: around 15%. This is recoverable. Symptoms feel to be soreness from minor bruising and strenuous activity, minor lacerations from weaponry, and slight burns to the second degree. Injury count for each is low. All body functions are normal. Global coordinates are unknown. Temperature is around 59 degrees Fahrenheit, with low humidity. Air pressure is around 14 PSI, suggesting position to be near sea level. Signs of life are present... tch.... tch.... tch.... telepathic interference module active. Standby."

Said all by her, during this process, here visor momentarily appearing. After the standby, it seemed to vanish, and Megumi was now, Megumi. Her eyes were now suddenly full of life, and her body came a normal posture within time. A hand went to her chest, and eyes peered all about.

StarLight Nova:

** ** Kur'si flew silently through the night with Render on his back between the mountain range while following the river. It was awkward with no conversation, but he liked to concentrate so they could go the greatest distance before they had to stop. He was not as skilled as Vaxil in controlling the planets innate magic, but he was sure he could get them do the lake near the Village Hidden in the leaves by midnight. From there they could sleep until a little before noon and then head out again, reaching Grasmere no later than nightfall. As Kur'si flew, gliding for most of the time as the updrafts within the mountains were strong yet sometimes unpredictable, he saw two other figures flying high in the air, occasionally chasing one another. He could only gather that one of them was white with a slight red hint, which would mean that dragoness was Vaxil's mother returning with her mate.

Under the starry sky while time past, they had met a few other dragons resting in various caves lining the cliff side. There were not many dragons in the sky with him, but for the ones who were, they were either enjoying the night or flying somewhere. By now as the moon rose into the sky, Vaxil must have gathered a gryphon or two along with Sunray and his brother to warn the villages, towns and cities to stay indoors after dark. No doubt the citizens of Hen'lai were already told of this. That was exactly what Vaxil was doing, having brought along two young gryphon's a few years into adult hood. Their first stop would be Goulcrest deep within the mountain range, where he would then send the gryphon's off to The Village Hidden in the leaves and Ser'ofin while he and the other dragons continued on to Harnsey.

Ceale woke up at a sudden sound that he heard near his head with a startled chirp, flicking his eyes open and spreading his wings. He grasped the edge of the counter with his left paw before standing up, shaking his head to look at who had disturbed him in his sleep. His wings rested on his back as he stared at the strange man in front of him with a furry face. His mind was still hazy as he raised and tilted his head in curiosity. He was a normal brown dragon with lighter colors on his chest and stomach as well as wings. At night sometimes when the moon shined just right, it looked like he was bronze or even a dark red. The elf who was his friend was asleep inside the house while he was woken up by this man at night. "What do you want, I was sleeping." The small drake said telepathically in a tired voice. Standing was becoming too hard for him so he sat down on his hind legs and curled his tail around his forelegs while he waited.

The Night Drakes were still watching for anyone suspicious while Erik walked slowly on the opposite side of the town center where Tanuki was behind a few rows of houses going away from him. Jacen was on the outer edge of the town, trying to use his energy stealthily to find who might be walking around. The Night Drakes that responded to him were getting a little frisky, one of them being located three houses diagonally right from the shop Tanuki was at with the small dragon named Ceale. Night Drakes were exceptional hunters at night and a little below average during the day. They could see very well at night but did not have a very good sense of smell, though it appeared to be reversed during the day. Since Night Drakes rely on sight during the night, they also have a unique ability like sonar that they can send out through the shadows to located people or enemies, and this is what the drake did closest to Tanuki. The shadows had to be connected by at least a pencil width or it would dissipate.

The effects of the ripple when a Night drake did a sonar search would be like a disturbance in the water except in the shadow, reflecting some light as sound passed through like a glint on metal. Their sharp teeth and claws combined with a modest build lent them enough stamina and agility to catch nimble thieves. Their necks were shorter than a dragon's but longer than a dog's, packed with muscle to swallow large objects with unhinging jaws. Their stomachs however took some time to digest the meat or bone so they would usually sleep for about a week or more, not responding to any actions to wake them up.

Rintaru was too involved in eating to hear the fox walk past him and into the bathroom. When he heard water running he perked up his head and tilted it to the left while licking his lips to get some fish scales off. There was only one fish left and the hungry dragon would soon devour it, just after he satisfied his curiosity of who was in the bathroom. He knew better than to intrude, so he padded around his dish and flew into the adjoining room to see it empty. At least I know where the fox is, Rintaru said to himself. He was glad she was up and moving, and although he had not consciously noticed anything different about her scent, she had looked ragged. Flying back to the table and his fish, he resumed eating until he was full and sated.

After a few minutes rest on the table he opened the door into the night and grew in size to that of a Great Dane, padding around to the watermill to sit in front of the water, daydreaming. Now that he had relieved himself twice, once in his full size and a second upstairs in his smaller form, he felt relaxed yet a little edgy still. He brought his tail up to dip into the water, flicking it up to watch it fall. It was not every day that something interesting happened, but somehow he knew things would get much more so over the coming days. It was just a feeling he had, an itch. Since most dragons were magical, they often had special abilities or traits born into their species. While his kind of size shifting dragons could, well, change size, breathe fire, do some magic, they weren't all that special, yet some dragons in a good rare time could predict the future or something else not common.

Cedric listened to Kyo's question, waiting until the two had stopped talking to answer, taking a deep breath before speaking. "Yes, that is Grasmere. It's not special like you think; it is just a combination of Elvin and human architecture designs. It is one of a few major port cities on this planet." He explained, smiling as the sight of the city brought back happy memories of when he was helping build it. "I think you will like it when we get there, but for now, do any of you want to rest and continue on in the morning? I know it is only a few more miles, but night is here and it can become quite cold." Cedric asked, stopping to turn halfway around to his right, facing the river that has now disappeared as the earth rises a bit in a low but wide hill.

The people of Grasmere were rather mesmerized when a small...anthro bunny appeared. No one thought it odd as they had met other furries during their time with Colby, but it was still certainly a sight to see among the humans and elves. The dragons, did not pay her any mind but for the innkeeper of a famous gathering spot. He, like princess Lyria, was an anthro dragon and an old one at that. His emerald green scales were faded and he bore a number of scars on his chest and shoulders while his wings were tattered yet still up for flying. He was still in good shape but had retired once the war ended and became an innkeeper, a nice and easy life. It was Joryn (Yor-in) who had told Lyria were Colby might stay when he was here.

The elves were more than polite to return conversations when spoken too, gladly giving what they knew about Colby to the young princess. The humans were courteous and kind but did not stare too long at her while they went about their day. Being a large city, they had a well-stocked library on dragon, Elvin, human, dwarven and many histories on other species. The fishing was excellent and the boats were second to none in regards to elegancy, speed and design. There was more than enough food to go around and there were many activities to occupy ones day. For one rambunctious group, they liked to do something called...dragon racing. Hiccup; along with his friend Toothless, and other friends Snotlout, Astrid, Ruffnut, Tuffnut and Fishlegs with their dragons, the city could get exciting and overwhelming for a new comer.

Colby on the other hand would fall asleep with his mate Cavynthra in front of the city where Cedric, Klin and Kyo are coming in a few yards away from the entrance. Did I forget to mention that Vikings also made Grasmere their home? For a few months that is, to where they would travel back to Morresley, somewhat identical to Berk.

Maurel thought about what this cat could possibly do as it meowed again, trying to make important decisions on whether he should kill the cat or not, if it was dangerous or mostly harmless. Another meow interrupted his thoughts as he sat back, left hand under his chin with his right hand on his cheek. Scowling, his eye soon widened and his mouth became ajar when the cat began mimicking him, sitting in the exact position he was, every hand movement, body movement, everything! How could this be? Maurel thought, leaning forward with both elbows on the armchair. This is one extraordinary cat but... He stopped in mid thought, going back on the presumption he had made that this cat was summoned by that sorcerer just like that demented slay and monster.

With a sigh, he stood up, walking downstairs while gesturing for the cat to follow. His house was elaborately designed, with decorated wallpaper of huge technologically advanced cities of the past and of dragons, big and small of all colors. He led the cat into the kitchen, a rather cramped rectangle with stools like those at restaurants on an island. He made a small circle with his right hand, only his pointer and middle finger sticking out with the rest of his fingers curled in as he whispered some simple words of materializing. A small cat bowl appeared on the counter, silver and plain while he materialized some cat food within the bowl. Once it was full he grabbed it, turning around and would not be surprised if the cat had mimicked that gesture as well, shaking his head in disbelief while walking over to the couches to place it on the floor.

With a discontented huff he went downstairs to close the door all the way after having seen it cracked open coming down. He then went upstairs, grabbed the feathers and his staff and went downstairs to his private room, closing and locking the door tight to finish examining the feathers. If the cat was indeed property of that sorcerer as well as these feathers, he would need to work harder to find some way of tracking him, if not physically then with energy.

Aurora was taking her time in gliding down to the ground, the altitude she was at quite staggering, but for her it was nothing. The feathered phoenix swooped down lower for a burst of speed but tilted backwards to hover when the person on the knoll started to float. She knew it was not natural for someone to do that so she soared straight down until she was about seventy feet from the ground before pulling up, her tail feathers helping her maintain balance in the air. Gliding at a rough speed of forty miles an hour and still some distance away, she narrowed her eyes to try and see anything else about who was on the small hill.

It was still too dark to see anything, and while the stars and moon provided some light for her to see by as well as the faint vibrant glow from the Tree of Life, it was hard to make out any details except for the fact that whoever it was was alive. A burst of energy, or rather dissipation of energy was sensed in the direction of the figure on the knoll, and so Aurora guessed that whoever it was must be one of those people who were brought here to this planet just like that knight Colby fought and the one who cracked the fountain as well as the sorcerer. She knew this because the Tree of Life was connected to Colby in a mysterious way.

She was still far away but she was able to make out some details of a girl as she flew closer. Aurora wanted to know who she was yet she did not want to scare her so she only ignited her flames partially so that she would appear as a bright star only wreathed in flames and coming closer. It was not a lot, only a gentle breeze like a candle that illuminated the night around her, and with it she could see school design clothes on the girl on the gnoll. Her flames licked against her feathers, not consuming or inhibiting, but light and airy, dancing around her fragile body. She gradually dropped lower to the ground as she eventually neared where the girl was. Not knowing if her display was frightening for her, she diminished her flames until they were barely visible against her frame.

Aurora soon alighted on the ground a safe distance away from the girl as her flames vanished. She straightened herself out, puffing out her chest as she took a couple steps forward before stopping. Her demeanor was calm while she watched the girl from a little less than half a football field away. Her brilliant plumage stood out at night, glowing with vibrant energy. Her eyes were sincere, caring and in no way disdainful or piercing. A soft, low coo came from her before she spoke. "No need to be afraid of me child, I am not here to hurt you." Aurora said, ruffling her feathers a bit before settling down.

Madam Poodle:

** ** While it was a little awkward with no conversation to keep things in balance, this by going time did give the monkey some time to think. While flying did make it a little rough on his face and ears, hearing as air rapidly rushed by, he'd simply lay low, and close his eyes to keep his thoughts straight, and the air resistance minimal. His flapping locks did tickle his face a little as they flew through the night air. While his thoughts remained unchanged of what was previously established, thoughts like that had run their course, and could wait for another time. Such thoughts were just his own. Deep in his own head, Render was a rather calm, poetic thinker, and often makes use of guiding philosophies. The one he used earlier was merely an extension of something they'd taught at the guild, it having a wide range of meanings, depending upon its interpretation. He often used this one to help him practice and train at times, while keeping his thoughts calm.

As for right now, many thoughts came about the rushing chill of the air, and how high off the ground they were. Even with the blackened atmosphere of the night, everything looked so small, scary to be reminded of the height, but tiny things looked, no wonder gods and large creatures commonly look down upon the earth people; they looked so tiny, almost like they were little toys to play with. While it's been made clear to him these creatures here think otherwise of this, he was sure somewhere deep within the mind that thought existed somewhere. This made things; somewhat more clear for him now and was beginning to understand certain things a little more about how other larger creatures think sometimes.

Tanuki would leave his fingertips at the end of the desk as he moved back a little when Ceale arose right in front of him. It was quite the sight looking at it. Given he's never personally seen a dragon in his life, this wasn't something he'd be used to seeing like the people of Elpitha have for quite some time. It took a few seconds for him to answer, those rather blank, green, expressionless eyes of his staring for that couple of moments. After marveling for a minute, and being asked what he wanted, a few more seconds passing before he answered, pointing behind the other.

"... I need two canteens, please." He replied, returning his fingertips to the edge of the desk. However, just then, chills were roaming up his spine, his right eye started to flicker yellow, and his head started to feel a great momentary pressure.

All fading within a couple seconds, Tanuki then started to see colored spots and lines around him when he looked around. The other spirit inside had sent him its form of a warning signal, and these colors he was seeing was the Night Drakes ' resonance from their magic signatures. He'd see some were far, and some were close, seeing they were all over town. He'd turn his head the other way, and, start to notice one of them was really close. Looking back at the countertop, he was not a little pressed for time, and seemed in more of a hurry as to when he came by. Escape was going to be a tedious process.

But... escape was not in plans for anyone else, especially not the Black Knight. Restless both he, and his dark equine companion, gallop, trot, and spear through the woodlands they did. One would think the horse should have run out of stamina by now, but this is also a mythical legendary horse we're talking about. According to rumor, the horse could tread the width of Eurasia in a single sprint. Not so much speed as longevity of the steed. Nonetheless, gallop on the horse did, weaving in between a few more trees and they had struck mightiest of luck! They've found a trail! The dirt can now cushion the horse's feet, and they can now concentrate solely on the destination.

Within the span of following a trail in that few-minute time span, the knight could sense it! Smell it! Feel it! He was ungodly close. Where he was going was just up ahead, and his stead vocalized when it saw the clearing in the trees come just into sight. Grabbing for Gatekeeper: his signature sword, he held it up, parallel to his eyes, keeping his hands on the horse, and roaring silently in encouragement to his beast of a horse (both literally an figuratively in this case).

"Yes! That's it! Keep going, my horse of the dark; charge: full speed ahead!" He chanted almost excitedly.

From the southern area of Hen'lai, one could hear the trotting and vocalizing the horse had made upon approaching, and it grew quickly louder as he drew nearer toward the clearing of the woodland. With his Gatekeeper in hand, he charged forth. Tanuki was about to become yet another person's target, and he wasn't about to let someone else do his handiwork for him.

The water had run red hot, steaming like a teakettle, and filling the bathroom plenty with foggy steam. It quickly became very humid in the bathroom, and everything was starting to become quite sticky on her. In order, Foxy poured a dab of bath soap she found earlier, and after letting it fill with suds, sprinkled bath salts, eating some of the suds on the way. She could feel the water building up, and the heat quickly rise in the room, making her cloths a little stickier, and the floor a little moist under her exposed feet, her pads almost struggling to keep grip. She would stir the water around very occasionally; taking her hand out every brief moment, for the water was quite scalding yet.

When the tub was finally full, she shut off the faucet, and then began to wait. The water was too scalding to get in right now, so she'd take a seat beside it for a few minutes or so. She didn't really have much to pass the time while in wait, besides trying her communicator again, which yielded yet again no avail. Thinking about what the old man said didn't last long, nor get her anywhere; she only realized she hasn't seen much of the other member of their humble abode much, aside from yesterday, and vaguely the morn after. It came to mind he had her under his wing that morning, which, comforting it was, seemed quite awkward when she thought about it.

Some time passed as she waited, the humid environment a little unbearable. As such, setting Creed on the sink, she turned around, and checked the temperature of the water. It was a little cooler than before, probably enough to get used to. Besides, she didn't want to have her clothes on in this humidity, it felt pretty gross. 'Well, her it goes,' she thought, shy and nervous to do this, even if alone. Thus, her arms slipped out first, and dung through her gown, meeting where her arms could reach, and then the clothe lifted up and out, before popping off of her, leaving only her skivvies. Although she reluctantly hesitated, these items were but an easy 1-2 job. Her bra was simply unstrapped, and fell to the floor, as well as her panties, also which fell to the floor after having to wiggle it off herself. With a deep breath, she walked her now exposed body over to the water, and would proceed with getting in the water.

First came her left, starting with the toes, and then the foot, and slowly in as water proceeded up her leg. The same proceed repeated with the other side as it followed suit after the left. Another deep breath followed her down as she sank inch by inch into the hot bath water. The suds covered over her body in the water even as she went in. After a few moments, she'd finally gotten all the way into the water, finalizing as the water would soak and douse her all the up to her neck. It was hot, and a bit scalding, but with time, she grew adjusted to the water. And now she actually began bathing.

To himself only, Klin would bring to mind the "Elvin and human architecture" part of the other's words, and would question in his mind if there really is a distinguishable difference. Nonetheless, both had their attention focused when he asked if they should rest. Klin, for once, made the decision.

"Are you kidding? I've been out later than this on school nights, and a few miles aren't all that much farther to walk! Not a chill in the world that could beat us out for that small road to cover. And besides, I'm wearing my jacket, it's, torn, sure, but it gets the job done!"

He ran on for a tiny bit. Despite the bold decision, Kyo couldn't help but shrug in agreement, as he too was in that same description. While Kyo's jacket wasn't torn like Klin's, there were noticeable spots on it where something big, rough and blunt seemed to have hit him. This was like, and related to the difference in their injuries when they first met Cedric, as Klin had cuts all over, and Kyo had many bruises and minor fractures to his bones arranged in a similar fashion. This information aside, Klin piled on a bit more before wanting to proceed again.

"You aren't telling me you're hogged out right now, are you?" He asked Cedric, almost hoping he wasn't.

If he could see it, he was going to get there just fine. True they have been walking all day, but they were teenagers, they were full of energy. Tuckered out they probably were going to be once they got there, but that was really all they were looking for to accomplish in going there. After that, they can figure something out.

Being sure to say her pleases and thank you's to those who offered their information, especially to Joryn, she was on her way. On the way, she kept her mind mostly focused, looking out for details previously mentioned. Of course, one doesn't help but notice the city around them when this happens, and such did happen to her. Grasmere was quite the large city, considering she comes from a time where this kind of architecture was scarce. Lot of things she could seek, not including the skyline to her left of right. Ears tucked back, she prowled on. What she was seeing was nothing short of featful and innovative, at least to her.

The cat did copy many things Maurel did, including walking upright to the kitchen, the gestures and imitation of talking he made while casting his magic, but not the actual spell, but when it came to that food bowl, it stopped everything, and chased hopelessly after it. When he went to go put it down, it even did as much as meow again, and stand up again with eyes wide and head high and mighty as it came down. Once it had, a quick sniff came before the cat had chowed down on the bowl for a while. Even the door shutting only perked a look before it resumed eating.

Once it had finished eating, there was only a dent in the mound of food, but it did eat a lot. Licking around the maw, the cat was finished eating, and then looked about to realize it was alone again. Sniffing around, it was once again left to its devises. As such, it did something cats to best of all, hop up on the couch, found a soft spot, laid down on it, and stay there, doing as much as even taking a cat slumber on it.

When it comes to the feathers and the cat he'd left behind, they were indeed technically property of him. However, being a summoner as well as a sorcerer, there's always some sort of catch. In the case of the feathers and monsters, they had virtually no direct links to Panic! himself. The only thing he'd be able to trace is the individual creatures' own assets and links. Why is because of the specific tool he was using to do it, the spell book. As it is a tool used for summoning, it can store the crests of a specific creature or person in the form of a seal, activating them by pumping them with energy in order to "overload" it, momentarily breaking the function of the seal. This seal keeps them inside the book, and even if killed in the real world, can be summoned again. Because the creatures are called forth to their users, they have no direct links to them besides a mutual contract.

Thus, even if he uses the birds and this cat as his own, they aren't actually associated with him in any way, that said, he has no idea any of them survived. Even if Maurel tried his very best, Panic! wouldn't be able to be traced by these creatures alone. But that said, since the cat was not under command from Panic anymore, it was left to Maurel to deal with. However, this wasn't any loss to Panic! whatsoever, for he can just summon another one at will. This was rather, an unexpected gain to Maurel if nothing else. And because copycats retain the ability to copy and store information, they can actually be more of a benefit to Maurel then he knows.

On the note of Panic, His journey to Tenby was only half-over, and the signs of exhaustion and lack of sleep were starting to show. He'd then take that the first thing he was going to do when he reached someplace was take a much needed rest, even being bad can be demanding. The bird, like the Knight's horse was holding up just fine, and could fly much much longer if needed.

While it took Megumi awhile to see Aurora flying through the air, initially, she hadn't realized she saw her. After turning and looking about a whole three-hundred sixty degrees, she began to notice consciously that this isn't likely where she'd been beforehand. Truth was she didn't remember quite where or even how she passed out. All she knew was that she wasn't their now, and upon awakening, she sustained minor damages. She does also have vague memories of a few altercations that happened just before she couldn't remember much else. She could gather she was fighting, as she woke up with her armor still on.

It then came into sight; it almost looked like a shooting star that was really close. So close she backed up a foot or two in preparation to flee the landing area of, whatever it was. However, the flames died down, and it was flying too slowly to be a solid falling object. As the other neared, Megumi's visor shuffled back onto her head just over top her eyes, it scanning over it, and actually gathering a reading. As it once more vanished from her face, now knew it was someone, not something. This then put her into a worrying manner, when the other landed; the first thing she'd do was dash right on forward, surveying the damage for herself as she stopped just short of the other.

"Ahhhhh! Are you alright? You aren't too badly burned, are you?" She said, in a bit of a panic over the sight of flames on even such a creature as this unidentified mythos. She still looked about the other concerned, but she didn't see any burns. A little more relieved, a hand once again planted on her chest as she tried to calm down a little.

StarLight Nova:

** ** Kur'si navigated the turn within the mountains with ease as a watermill appeared to the right of the river near the end of the mountain range. He could see it perfectly but wondered if Render could see it too. The nighttime air was definitely getting a little chilly as he dropped some altitude so that Render would not be affected by the temperature, even going as to place a warming spell on him until they reached the lake near The Village in the leaves where they could potentially rest for the rest of the night. Vaxil meanwhile was swiftly making his way above the mountains with two dragons and two gryphon's to the dwarven city of Goulcrest. They had met no opposition so far but knew there were some dangerous opponents on the planet.

By the time Kur'si had turned the mountainous corner and was heading towards the river between the lake and the larger river, the moon had risen high into the sky a little before nightfall. During the stretch of flight across open land, Kur'si had closed his eyes to get some rest. He knew he would not fall out of the sky and was careful to keep tabs on the monkey on his back. Twisting his head back, he looked at Render while the moon provided some light to see by. "Would you like to stop for now? There is a river up ahead where we can stay for the rest of the night. I am sure I can make it to the city by sunset tomorrow." Kur'si said, turning back around to watch as the silver moonlight played on the gentle waves on the lake.

By the time Kur'si asked Render if he wanted to stop, Vaxil and the other two dragons had made it to Goulcrest while the two gryphon's split off to go to their respective town and city. The dwarves, of course, invited the dragons for something to eat, saying they would spread the news underground to their brethren. They accepted the brief respite but were back in the sky half an hour so they could reach Harnsey in reasonable time. The gryphon flying towards The Village hidden in the leaves would arrive first while the other would get to the city of Ser'ofin shortly after. Of the six cities on the planet, Ser'ofin was the largest with Grasmere in close second and Calcheth in third. Morresley was in fourth and Calchester was fifth with Mournstead being the smallest just out of being a town, all of them having different builds and layouts depending on who lived there and where they were in the world.

Ceale respectively dipped his head when the person in front of him made his request. He paid no attention to what erred him, so he stood up and turned around as he stretched out his neck to grab the closest one to him by the strap. He then placed it next to him while shaking his head to clear his mind enough to work some of his magic, seeing that he was still sleepy, grumpy yet calm in front of the stranger. When he could think clearly he stood up straight and tilted his head, looking back briefly to look at the face of the man who wanted two canteens. He went back to staring at the wall, eyes going wide, remembering the warning Erik and the Protector had issued earlier today. And the man they suspected that matched the description everyone had been given was standing right in front of his, or his friend's store!

He did not know what to do except try and call for help, but he was warned not to do anything rash as he had cracked the fountain. Few people had seen it before Jacen had fixed it, and by then everyone knew that someone strong had been in town. Thankfully, Erik and Jacen were on top of this as they were searching the town right now. Ceale, not wanting to arouse the man's suspicions, knowing the Night Drakes were on the job too, quickly accessed his magic and took another canteen down and placed it next to the first before turning around. "Here you go sir. Will that be all?" H asked, sitting back down as he pushed them forward with his left paw.

While this was going on, Jacen had contacted Erik, saying one of the Night Drakes had found the man in front of a store that was conversing with a size-shifting dragon right now. Erik, being relatively close by, slide into an alleyway to communicate with a pair of experienced Night Drakes, good friends of his but still independent. He told them to spread the word to watch the man to see where he goes but to not attack. Erik then began walking to the western exit of the town near the river while Jacen was on the North Eastern wall of the town. Being patient and calm were two things he needed right now if he were to find out what this man wanted or was going to do.

Unfortunately, a few drakes that were in the forest on the outside of the establishment heard a horse galloping towards the town. When they searched to see who it was with their sonar, they reported back to Jacen immediately, showing him pictures of what they saw. Recognizing him as the knight Colby fought a night ago, Jacen alerted all the Night Drakes in the town to be on the lookout and to be wary. He formulated what to do in his head, contacting Erik so they could create a plan.

"We have to get him out of the town." Jacen said in an urgent tone telepathically to Erik who was just in front of the town gate.

"But we can't let him know we are following him, I know we need to get him away so the town is not destroyed." Erik replied, going down an alley so he would not have to worry about being seen by the man if he came this way.

"We will have to monitor him closely then, and react quickly if the knight is indeed coming for him." Jacen said, standing up to look into the town in the direction of the man who had cracked the fountain.

The Night Drakes were told to only use their sonar on the knight and even then sparingly. Three Night Drakes were across the center of the town where Tanuki was, having moved closer to only observe. Erik had contacted Ceale and told him to remain calm and not alert him to their presence. The little dragon agreed but did not speak, waiting for the man to take the canteens and go so he could get back to sleep. Maybe he would stay inside the house from now on, he thought to himself.

Rintaru could not shake the fact that something was supposed to happen soon. He did not know what it was but he had the feeling it would affect the whole planet. He dove into the water to try and splash the feeling out of him with the cool temperature, but that did not work. He remembered what had happened when he was fishing earlier and jumped out of the river to prevent it from happening again, his scales dripping water only to realize he was not erect. Sighing, he walked down the river for some time to clear his head as well as to dry off. He could not get that fox out of his mind no matter how hard he tried. He had masturbated two times already to get it out of his system, yet with the arrival of this predomination that something is going to happen soon; his body became jittery and full of energy, as if he had not slept in a week or had coffee for three days in a row.

Or maybe it was that hot chocolate he had had yesterday? Nah," He thought to himself, walking back to the house in the time the fox had finally gotten into the bathtub. He padded in a circle close to the house and curled up to sleep for the night with his tail touching his snout lightly. He closed his eyes and slowed his breathing, but as time went on thoughts and images began to flash through his mind of what that fox might look like naked, of her soft fur and curvy frame as well as her boobs and tail. He jumped when something sensitive brushed the rough grass beneath him, sitting up partially only to sigh when he saw his phallus throbbing in the moonlight. "Damn it." He muttered, closing his eyes and growling, tearing ruts in the ground.

He then knew what was wrong with him, since he normally would not fantasize about every girl or fox that he set eyes on. _"Of course I had to be in rut now."_Rintaru barked out, shivering as a breeze brought unwanted pleasure up his spine. He hissed, laying back down even if it was slightly painful for him. He did not want to go back into the river to solve this problem as he was wary of having some fish latch back onto his shaft. He panted heavily while trying to focus on what the feeling he had could mean for the citizens of Elpitha, but for him, thoughts and images of the fox still raced through his mind.

Opening his eyes and snapping at the air, he stood up before rolling over to his back with his erection bobbing freely in the cool air. Drops of pre-cum squirted out of his cock tip every so often, eliciting another shiver from him and a rattle of his scales. Yet another bath he would have to go through if he decided to relieve himself, He though privately. He was half hoping the fox would come out after her bath and help him, but he was not keen on it happening as to how she reacted to how he greeted her. He now lay on his back with his wings and hind legs spread out so as not to disturb his shaft or provoke or entice him to find release. So he only laid back and closed his eyes, hoping that sleep would take him soon enough.

Cedric listened when Klin said he wanted to continue on but pulled back when he asked if he was tired. "Of course not. I could go on for days without stopping. It didn't hurt to ask, seeing as you two were beat up when I found you," Cedric explained, rubbing the back of his head with his right hand. "Well, once we arrive you can get new jackets too if you want." Cedric asked in return, pausing before adding something else. "Would either of you be hungry?" He said, knowing by now that they might want to keep walking to have something to eat once they arrive.

He waits for a few more minutes to see if they have anything to say before turning around to begin walking up the shallow hill. Trekking for fifteen minutes they would crest and see the whole city against the backdrop of the night sky. A few lights would be on around the outside of the large city with a few dragons flying around in the air, too dark and far away to see clearly, only like a blip when a planet crossed paths with a sun. Hiccup and his friends were staying here for a few more days, and it was he and toothless among a few others who were flying in the cool night. Occasionally when Cedric, Klin and Kyo were walking down the hill to approach the city, the high pitch screech made by the night fury would be heard softly in the distance but louder by the prince in the city.

The description of Colby that Joyrn would give Lyria, as far as he knew, would be wearing a set of robes like in medieval times with the frilly handcuffs and stretchy material. He would be mostly garbed in white, blue, gold and silver with a cape on his back displaying Gudon, Cavynthra in her late form of orange and fiery red as well as Calemvir along with other dragons he had known among his life. Though one could not see him if they ventured out of the city walls to look for him, they would only spot a large dragon filled with sparkling gold, dazzling silver, deep river blue and some splotches of white under the silver moonlight. She would have three gems on her body, a blue one on her forehead, a green one on her chest and a white one on her tail.

To Cedric, Klin and Kyo, all she would look like would be an oddly shaped rock. Joryn, on the other hand, was cleaning some glasses of bear, humming a soft song to himself as the night dragged on. It was not often that his inn was empty, but on some days no one decided to stick around to hear one of his stories. He hoped that Lyria would find what she was looking for; she seemed to be a really nice lady. On her path, wherever she went, she would find elegant buildings with beautiful carvings, large buildings for school and recreation. There would be some open top buildings with nests where dragons large and small of many different species would rest, fountains spread throughout the city like those at Hen'lai but much more elaborate.

Above head, hiccup and toothless would soar by, testing their trust by evading buildings and doing all sorts of tricks. The others were asleep, as hiccup, chief of berk, or Morresley should be as well. Black as night, toothless would only be seen as a blur, and with luck, be spotted because of the lighter clothing of his companion hiccup or his prosthetic leg. The town of Grasmere held an impressive number of residences, to which Ser'ofin trumped by a few hundred thousand. With all the streets and roadways, Lyria would have surely gotten lost, if Joryn had not given her a map of the city to help her along.

For Maurel, he was scratching his head, arriving at a few conclusions that only gave way to more questions. He had done away with the feathers and was now pacing the room with a book in hand, flipping through the pages on the art of summoning, trying to find a reason why he could not trace the feather to where the sorcerer is. Venro and Lish'ua meanwhile had spent themselves with climaxing two more times before going to sleep while Maurel poured over everything he had. "If I can't find him by using the feathers, then that would mean he would not know where or if his creations or spells were dead," Maurel ranted, biting his knuckle, flipping another page to a monster similar to the cat that was in his home right now.

"Similar, but not close enough." He muttered, shutting the book and going for another one, panning through the pages. If it did not matter what he did to the cat that the sorcerer did not know what it was doing, then that means he could make it his ally. "If it has not attacked me now, then it would appear that he has to command it to do something. Probably forgot about it when my golem supposedly smashed it." He said to himself still, closing the book to head out of the room, leaving his staff behind and closing the door behind him.

He went to the couches where he had left the cat to eat, stopping as he saw it on top of one of the couches sleeping. He continued on to sit next to the cat, picking it up and placing it on his lap, stroking its fur to calm it down. He did this for a while, discreetly expanding his mind to hover it around the cat's body. Knowing that it could copy anything he did, he was careful on how much pressure he put in certain places to find out what this cat could do. If he were certain the sorcerer did not know where this cat was, then he would train it to fight back if he ever showed his face again. "Nice kitty. Good kitty. Soft ball of fur," Cedric said, knowing the last part was unnecessary.

The mountain range panic would be crossing to get to Tenby would be covered in snow while a warm breeze blew behind him, speeding him along. The collision of two different temperatures would make a snowstorm or mild blizzard in the mountain range, isolated and easy to navigate and escape, if one knew the terrain. There were caves and tunnels beneath with a variety of animals, including some revived from the dinosaur era, although mostly plant eaters and the like.

Aurora tilted her head back and spread her wings partially when the girl ran towards her, concerned about if she was all right. What a preposterous question? Does she not know my own flames can't hurt me? She thought to herself. Resettling her colorful wings on her back, she raised her crest on her head before replying. "I am fine. And if you did not know, I am a phoenix, a bird of fire. I can't be hurt in any way by any flames I create or people throw at me." Aurora said a little flamboyant of herself by spreading her stance and turning sideways a bit. It was not often other people saw her, not saying she did not visit the festival Colby hosted every ten years.

"Might I know what you are doing here so close to the Tree of Life girl?" She asked, dipping her head to peer at the girl in question. Her size would be slightly bigger than the girl in front of her, to where she would be at the height of Colby's head of 5'11. Leaning back, she studied the girl while she waited, knowing Colby would not mind at all if she brought her into the tree or his home to warm her up should the night get too cold. As now, it was nearing midnight yet the temperature was only a little breezy. Her feathers danced in the wind like her flames, protected by her soft plumage.

Madam Poodle:

** ** In simple terms, Render had still remained silent and still. His eyes only opened briefly as they made some curves in the air, and some of the mass shifted place. He couldn't open his eyes much, but the watermill they passed was in sight, but not for long as the monkey's focus soon shifted back to himself. A straight line was much more tranquil, and his eyes soon opened again, feeling him turn his head for just that one moment. He'd start to wonder if something was amiss or wrong. But the question of rest soon had arisen, and his answer was shouted back over the moving rush of air.

"Rest if you wish! I'll be fine!" He said, simply resting himself on the back of the other, his eyes heavily squinted. One couldn't help but see or notice he wasn't talking as much as he was before. His lines were short and his speech brief at best. Maybe he was tired; who knows?

The raccoon dog nodded to Ceale's question, quickly taking both, putting the necks of each one on his belt behind his jacket, and then turning around, only with so much as a thank you before he walked away... that is... only about a couple of yards or so before he stopped. Why he stopped was all in what he was seeing; when he stopped to look, he had started to see those nearby, had stopped. They weren't moving while they were so close, and that only registered as one thing: they knew he was here. Even though it was only a guess, he's been in this scenario so many times; he'd have lost count if he kept track of each one. However, even if they were, and this feeling was incredibly strong and the evidence pointing to it being plausible, it would be more so stupid than risky in calling them out on it. Let's face it, no one needs that.

As his caution led him to do in this kind of situation, he'd stay still, and not move. Often times, when people were positioned so and stationary, that usually is a dead giveaway of a trap. The fact hardly anyone was outside was another indicator to him, even though outside of his thinking, justification was partial. He looked around a bit more, looking at all of their location, noticing just how many of them there were, three of them close, and stationary. While he couldn't actually gather for himself how strong they were, the resonating color coming from each of them suggested more complex and talented creatures they were. It was a tough move for the raccoon dog to make on what to do, as, despite the spacing, he was practically cornered.

It was an odd foil, as both parties were now with to come out to new plans. With Tanuki having pinpointed where those watching him are, but Tanuki put into a rather difficult spot to tread, Tanuki stood still. He figured if any of them were looking for him, they'd seek him out, as they've always had.

For sure, one did. Having eyes that see excellent in the dark, the Knight would see the other drakes garnishing about the inside and outside of town. However, even if they wanted to stop him, he was in no mood for detours and walls in the path. Patting the head of his horse just before the trees cleared, this signaled the horse to lower its head, and why was for the knight to have enough room to swing side-to-side without hacking his horse. As such, with the town gate so close, he charged as usual, his sword ready to swing.

Blasting past the trees, the knight-horse duo and the resultant trail of darkness behind them would slash rapidly back and forth, full aware of the position of others, yet in no position to stop at once.

"Get aside! Stray from my path!" He shouted loudly, warning all those who can hear the chant of his voice, it traveling far, with such being the point.

Charging straight past through the gate, he bulleted through town, separating him from the enemy being only a few thousand yards or so. Taking the straightest path possible, his speed was blazing, and his path was iron solid. The knight soon then held his blade high, it starting to pulse and glow that infamous blue color, his growl reaching the very depths of people's ears and hearts as he did. Only mere minutes away, he closed the gap, and quickly. Not even a night drake would want to be in the line of this dark fire.

Sadly for poor Rintaru, baths are no quick dip in the water. Mean time for baths is usually about an hour or so, and that's just about how long Foxy would be spending, with only urgencies able to lure her out. It was pretty foggy in the bathroom where foxy is. The bath felt nice against tense flesh; the salts were good for the skin and fur, and the soaps were good for, well, aroma. Foxy was normally very conducted, and, especially more recently, is always controlled in times of rut, much like what the old man's scaly companion was trying his darnedest to accomplish. Even so, Foxy's feelings weren't quite mutual with the others, so to note. Although, she did find it odd that she had only seen him four times in the past twenty-four hours. She's only curious as to where he's been and what he's been doing. Before this afternoon, she saw him aplenty. When she decides to get out, maybe she should pay him a visit, though, that means finding him first. Until then, coast in salted, soaped water she did.

While Foxy typically doesn't seem like it much, history shows she did have her times, and occasionally still does. Back in her later high-school days, she was a very flirtatious vixen, and, although selective, was not uncommon to see her landed up in the sac with some attractive man. After she graduated high school, this routine behavior died down, as she focused on her career options, and then even more after she landed her job as a police officer. Despite this, she still has that one time when she isn't working: perhaps on a day off, where she does try and go out, and venture out some fun in the night in more than a few ways. She's sometimes been reputed for being quite the noisemaker in the bedroom. Often times, this is why she'd choose times and places she didn't have to be quiet.

While not so much back in the day, Foxy has been relatively smart about her contraception, going as far to regularly monitor how it's working biweekly. Coming from a future time, means of contraception have reached more effective and innovative levels in convenient ways viable for consumer usage. One such example on her is a black patch aligned on the roof of her uterus, which induces hormones that suppress menstruation, and is advised to be replaced bimonthly, rather than biweekly. Another such example includes pills, two kinds of which Foxy was happening to be carrying on her before she wound up here. The first kind is an inhibitor used to slow down egg production in the ovaries, and the second generates enzymes in the body that kill the egg cell outright. As advised, she takes both weekly, and as one can see, she takes getting pregnancy prevention very seriously.

Even so, it'd been awhile, while it never crossed her mind, she couldn't remember the last time she got laid. It was quite a while ago, to put it that way. Nonetheless, this wasn't quite what she was thinking about. She just calmed her mind, and rested as easily as she could. Once her bath is over, she's going to try and find the old man's dragon companion, and well, interact with him. She's seen more of Kuroda's face than his, which, despite why she's seen him so much, doesn't quite add up.

Of course, between two of the trio, the rally of their voices and replies continued back and forth in a seemingly endless conversation. Klin now seemed to have more to say that Kyo had, clear by the fact that Kyo's been quiet for a while now.

"I wasn't so much beaten up as I was cut and torn all over. I mean, when some freaky magic man cuts you up with his stupid knife and those creepy dumbass birds of his, you tend to get cut and bleed. These school-issue jackets aren't cheap either."

Once more, Kyo nods in agreement. While his jacket only had some minor discoloration on the spot where large clubs has stricken him, it was intact and in one piece; a simply re-dying could fix that.

"In all contrasts and comparisons, friend, we were hurt when he found us. But, we're healed, so everything's fine, at least, for now. The only thing I feel is some mild soreness from the events of the day before."

"Same." Kyo and Klin had said respectively, all in reply to before he mentioned his question of hunger to the both of them.

"Psh! Who are you kidding?"

"Well, I suppose it goes without saying on my end, neither one of us has eaten since we left the hospital." Klin and Kyo replied once more respectively. Having all fronts mostly answered, they proceeded to Grasmere once more, now practically there in this large city. Again, it was quite large from their perspective.

And an ever-larger one was seen from the eyes of Lyria as she walked near for the heart of the city. Even though the technology was suitable for a time like hers, she found herself astounded by the environment around. She was a little surprised there wasn't any sort of manner, castle, estate, or stable nearby, as only architecture like this is seen by such places. She even halted a few time to see where she was, and was only more in shock, this place big to say the least, and like a big urban metropolis (Like that of New X's metropolitan area), was easy to lose your way. Although the map was at hand, it wasn't, easy for her to understand her location on it. It was late, and was probably too late to start her search. Long journey around another day, at this point, she may as well call it a night, though, being lost is a good way to end it. Many question marks popped above her head, and struggled to comprehend where was what. This was, difficult.

The cat had been asleep for quite a bit. Catnaps are always nice to take usually, especially when you have furniture to sleep on for the most part. It'd also been quite awhile since it slept, so did that it did, up until a bit of a low, tired hum came from the feline as it found itself being picked up all of a sudden. Though, pets were well accepted, as its standing posture soon delved into one that sank into Maurel's lap with a light and bubbly purr.

While Maurel was looking over the cat and its capabilities though, what this would reveal is, something odd. When Maurel would peer over the cat, its energy was, very plain, and quite weak. Any affinity in its body was barren, and most of the cat's underlying powers and abilities were of no avail. The only thing that Maurel found, also quite surprisingly, was that the cat was flowing with information. This information was pretty much everything Maurel knew already, but the cat had a lot of it, almost as if finding pure, raw data on a computer one just hacked. Beneath all that was only a small core of plain energy. It was truly a puzzle trying to figure out the cat, as it appeared virtually ordinary, and impotent. In the cat's relaxation however, those chants sounded an awful lot like a tune it once heard on a famous television show.

Panic! no doubt had flown through mountain ranges before, and so he takes this time now to recap his thinking.

It was a series of determinations and questions that seemed unanswered quite. It went as followed in his head.

"Alright, last time, I scraped by, and escaped underequipped, and not fully prepared for that. Judging by that battle, this word poses some massively powerful people as a benchmark, so what do I do to overcome it?"

"Obvious: get more powerful."

"However, there's no amount of training in the world I could do to compensate for that narrow loss."

"Fine enough... get some power then."

"Yes... but where?"

"Well.... I can't take it from people; they'll put up too much of a fight... besides, I'd need the power of 1000 human souls to double my own, and that's too much work for twice the power."

"What about a powerful creature or person."

"Unlikely. They're probably just as powerful, if not out of my league, as hard as that is to admit."

"Your summons? You can always rely on those."

"While I could, and keep handing magic commands and whatever, that's having some done your work for you, and that's just crap to rely on all the time."

"What about using the planet?"

"Are you out of your mind? Not only is that risky and time consuming, but also indiscrete; people are going to notice you borrowing raw power from the planet, because the vegetation and habitat will start to wilt."

"Since I have a seal on myself capping my power now, I'm not nearly as powerful as I was back at that crumby old farm... that being said, I wasn't going at it a full 100%. Maybe I could practice a little, but that's boring, and takes quite a bit of time."

"If you think about it though, cap off some people, taking power from whatever come your way you're sure you can take, and you can match your max in this sealed state, and be loads more powerful when you unseal it!"

Aye... it's a start."

"Hunker low though... there are some miiiigh-ty tough folk after your ass now."

"Go figure." Panic had rallied. With a simple 'Alright then' concluding his thoughts, he figured he'd stop literally thinking to himself, and get on with his journey, flying indeed through a storm or two, but he's suffered worse in magic training. A bit of cold for a few minutes wouldn't harm a ladybug in his thoughts. As such, he sat patiently, and watches the world go by, and the bird flap its great big wings.

Truth be told, Megumi knows nothing about a phoenix, that being said, her peers only know justly what a phoenix is, and often times, this wasn't quite the exact image of one. That aside, the look on Megumi's face quickly shifted from concern to question in a snap as her armor soon also vanish, two circular crests appearing above and below her as it disappeared off her body. It was here that it was revealed that Megumi had never actually touched the ground since she regained consciousness, the tips of her toes narrowly a half-inch above ground. Without her armor, she did look quite a bit smaller and less intimidating, even though the armor doesn't deform her body in any way: rather, simply covers certain parts. While this levitation she had exhibited added a couple inches, she still found herself looking up at Aurora. As far as the question went... she drew a total blank.

"... Uhh.... Uhm... Hum..." Was all she seemed to be able to mutter up. In essence, she couldn't remember what she even ate yesterday; her answer never came thusly, looped into continual thought about the question.

StarLight Nova:

** ** Kur'si nodded to Renders answer, looking off slightly to the left to see The Village Hidden in the leaves. While it did not have the great stone faces of the Hokage, it was still a nice town with Naruto as their leader. He could see something flying in the distance in the dark, and though he did not know what it was, he soon angled himself down and to the right to gradually drop altitude. He was aiming to fly past the river to land next to the lake so that they could rest for the night and regain their strength for the final trip to Grasmere. That brought another thought to mind, he did not know if Render had eaten before Vaxil had departed ways.

Still tilted so that they steadily approached the ground, Kur'si turned to ask Render the question. _"Pardon me, but have you eaten while you were with Vaxil? We can stop, or I can drop you off and I can go the nearby town to get something to eat if you want?"_Kur'si asked, as they had a while before they reached land.

Vaxil on the other hand along with Sunray and Nizar were travelling swiftly to Harnsey. Since Hen'lai was already warned as it was the town the man had first arrived in, they would cover the western half of the planet while the gryphon's spread word to the east. No doubt the gryphon heading north would be at Tenby within a day or so, and would have contact with Panic. He would then proceed to fly to Morresley, Haerndean, Taewe in the desert to come to Myrrka. The gryphon heading south would warn Mournstead then Glenarm, Calchester, flying past or close to Kuroda's watermill before going to Domburton and meeting back up with the other gryphon at Bredan or Myrrka.

Once Vaxil and his companions reached Harnsey, he would continue on to Calcheth while Sunray went to Aramore and Nizar went to Panshaw. They would then meet up with Vaxil to head north East to warn Grasmere if Colby had not done that already. This would take a few days of course even with the help of the planets magic. Calemvir meanwhile is still watching over Dragon Valley, pondering over what they would do if evil forces are on the planet of Elpitha.

Ceale was about to turn away as well to head into the house when he saw the raccoon pause. Raising his head, he looked curiously at the man, wondering what he was doing or thinking before he started look around._Oh no, he knows they are watching him!_He thought frantically, hunching down to the counter to see what he does. The three Night Drakes across the town center backed off a few feet when they noticed he had stopped as well. The one that was three houses diagonally to the right of where Tanuki was sent a reassuring thought to his brethren, but it was overshadowed by Ceales maelstrom of thoughts on what the raccoon could be doing.

The Night Drakes warned both Erik and Jacen about this and they immediately knew that he knew they were watching him. Jacen cursed, thinking of what they could do to have him walk out of the town without any confrontation, that is, until the Night Drakes close to the black knight went scampering away when he came charging and yelling. "Shit." Jacen muttered, Erik getting the same message in his own way from other Night Drakes once the ones closest to the knight got out of the way. Jacen then stood up, reaching behind his back to grab his staff and slam it on the ground on top of the wall. A brief burst of energy spread throughout the town, covering every building and hole so that no citizen heard the black knight approaching. It would not do to have a panic on their hands right now; they needed to handle this quickly and efficiently.

Erik, still in the shadows of an alleyway near the western gate, told all the Night Drakes around the raccoon to back off. They complied even as the knight got closer to his target. Jacen needed to give him time so that he could make it out of town; he did not want any destruction to happen to the town, so he leaned forward and jumped off the wall. With quick feat, Jacen leapt from rooftop to rooftop, speeding his way to where the knight was, hoping he arrived before he got to the person in front of the shop. Ceale, of course, the innocent drake that he was, stumbled back when he faintly heard the roar of the knight, thus falling of the counter in his fright. He shook his head, backing up into a far corner to get away from the raccoon and the knight.

"I am not sleeping outside anymore, I am not." The little drake said to himself while hiding in the darkest place he could, shaking as Erik looped away from the Western gate to give the man some room.

Jacen, who was still running on top of rooftops heading diagonally across the town started to prepare a spell to stop the knight. He had left his staff on the wall to maintain the spell of silence so that the citizens would be unaware of what was happening. Tanuki would probably hear the patter of tiles against Jacen's shoes, but he was more concerned with the knight right now. From what Colby said from his fight with the knight, he was strong and could extend his blade across large distances. Another fact that had him a little scared was how he powered himself up with...souls.

"I am not going to have that, nor lives lost in this town while I am here." Jacen whispered to himself, beginning to curve to the right to intercept the knight while preparing his spell.

The Night Drakes were still giving the two warriors information on if the raccoon moved and where the knight was in the town so that Jacen could intercept him. The Protector was not as versed in combat as others were, but he excelled at defense, having a wide variety of Guardian spells, traps and curses. Landing in one alleyway that would lead to the road the knight was on, Jacen twisted to his left so his momentum changed, bringing his right hand behind him and next to his hip, glowing a bright yellow, blue and white, giving his position away. There was no time to shout 'none shall pass', because as soon as he reached the corner, he could he the thundering of the horse's hooves right down the road.

He needed to time this right, so he jumped on the sides of the houses beside him to decrease his speed until he was at the exit to the alleyway. Bursting forth, he skidded on the ground while leaning to his right. After regaining his stance, he shoved his glowing right hand with a series of symbols similar to what Colby had used on the ground when he had battled the knight straight out while holding his bicep with his left hand. In the next second, the symbol expands while pushing forth a foot to stop, creating a strong barrier that, when the knight crashes into, stops his forward momentum. Hacking away at the barrier would take some time, as this is a high quality defense spell. Once Jacen had activated it, the glow had also substantially increased, lighting up the night sky so that it looked like a bonfire.

Without hesitation, he swept his right hand out, the barrier still in place to bring his thumb to his mouth and bite down. Jacen then formed a few signs unlike that for jutsu, and slammed his right hand down spread out against the ground in front of him. On the other side of the barrier beneath the knight, a blood red symbol would appear, stopping the horse in its tracks so that it could not move or pick up its legs. Standing up again, he raises both arms out while keeping his fingers spread to maintain the barrier. With eyes narrowed on the knight, if he decided to get off his horse, he too would be stuck by the spell beneath. If he wanted to jump over the barrier, it would be possible but would allow Jacen to grab a hold of it and aim it at the knight, firing it at him to push him high into the sky.

The barrier rose higher than the nearby buildings and the spell beneath spread out in a ten feet diameter. The only way for him to continue on to his target would be to jump behind him, avoiding the spell that would have his horse immobile. With the addition of the red beneath, it certainly looked like a bonfire was happening. Erik, meanwhile was instructing the Night Drakes to be ready should anything happen. General, but nevertheless good to know should the raccoon begin walking again, in which they will let him be alone, maintaining a wide enough distance from him so he can get out without stopping again.

For Rintaru, he did fall asleep like last time, but now he was having lustful dreams of the fox taking a bath. His hind paws twitched on occasion as well as his throbbing shaft, leaking more pre-cum onto his scales and crotch as he went deeper into the dream. Dragons are quite prolific and virile creatures, more so when they have magic in their grasps. That does not mean they don't have their own ways on preventing pregnancy if they do not want hatchlings. Whether a dragoness is in heat or a male in rut, those are the two times when both fertilities are boosted significantly, otherwise there is about a sixty-five percent chance of the male getting the female gravid. The best chance for his to happen is in the air, as the dragons control the skies, their hormones increase substantially when they are in the thrill of mating while in flight.

The least possible chance for impregnation would be on the ground with the male on his back. Although this does not decrease the chances of getting pregnant by much, it reduces his virility as the male can choose not to insert his knot inside the female, decreasing chances of impregnation further. As long as he does not enter the womb or egg chamber directly, it is safe to mate as many times as they want. Dragons are also one of the few races that can impregnate other species besides their own, though fertility for the male is drastically reduced in this situation. In this sense, they can take any position they want; even flying will only bring chances of getting pregnant to twenty percent.

Back to the problem at hand, wiggling on the ground, Rintaru played out in his mind of foxy in front of him, stripped naked with well-shaped breasts and a tight sex for him to penetrate. A deep growl started in his throat both mentally and physically, providing some form of stimulation for him while asleep. With this, it encouraged him to continue, prowling closer to her as she raised her arms to cup her breasts, rolling them in each hand while moaning out his name. Rintaru did not waste any time in leaping the rest of the way, pressing his head against her fur and purring, causing his member to jump while he revealed himself in his dream. With long, slow licks, he lathered her fur with his tongue, gradually making his way across her breasts, down her stomach to her sex. Foxy moaned and hugged his head in return, rubbing his scales as he licked at her entrance.

Rintaru squirmed on the ground outside the dream, grunting and whining as his phallus throbbed and squirted more pre-cum as the heat in his loins increased. He did not stop inside the dream, plunging his tongue deep within her vent to hear her gasp in pleasure. Not pausing for an instant, he moved forward, gently pushing her to the ground as he ran his tongue back up her soft body. His tail thumped the ground while his wings fluttered impatiently, veins forming on his shaft while a continuous stream of pre rolled down it, tickling him eagerly. Rintaru's eyes went wide as he positioned himself above foxy, lowering his hips to place his shaft near her sex.

If he took any longer he would climax without any stimulation in the waking world, so he thrust forward, spearing her sex and driving his phallus deep inside her vent until his knot bumped up against her hips. He roared out his pleasure both asleep and outside the dream, his member throbbing painfully as his knot swelled to its full size, prepared to deliver its load. Without a moments rest for foxy, he began thrusting in and out rapidly, the pressure already growing inside his loins until he could not take it anymore. His body was sweating and his shaft ached, providing his mind with too much pleasure as he pushed as far as he could inside foxy including his knot, tying them together before he climaxed.

He involuntarily thrust his hips outside the dream; his shaft flexing as he came hard, his semen shooting all the way to his neck while he roared out again, loud enough to be heard if foxy listened closely. He was snapped out of his lustful dream a few seconds after, looking down to see his shaft pulsing wildly, throwing his sperm halfway up his body by now without having any pressure on his knot. Blinking his eyes while breathing hard, he lifted his hind legs and reached forward with his right foreleg, lightly grasping his throbbing shaft, only to roar out slightly louder as he climaxed again, thrusting his hips into his paw. In a frenzy, he began pumping his phallus to increases the duration of his orgasm but it was gone all too soon.

He rested his hips back on the ground while panting as his tail swished across the grass lazily. He could still feel that his loins were almost on fire, rearing for many more rounds. He laid his head onto the ground to ease his breathing before standing up, walking a little tipsy to the river to clean off all the cum on his scales. He was in a daze, the dream having taken up a good forty five to fifty minutes despite how quick it was gone. The temperature of the water combated with his intense body heat with his rut making things worse. There was a soft hiss as steam rose in the air around Rintaru as he cleaned his scales and then made his way back to wear he was.

His scent on this part of grass was overwhelming, and would probably drive a dragoness lust ridden even outside of heat in a short amount of time. He shook his head, trying to control himself but every step set off his nerves, making him stop to reach down and lick his shaft which was still semi hard, only to pull back a few seconds later. Snorting to himself, he sat down on the spot where he had slept, spread his haunches and took his phallus firmly in his right paw and began stroking it, down to his knot and over his flared ridges. He grunted and growled at the bombardment of pleasure, and even if he was the size of a Great Dane, he possessed great stamina. Throwing out his wings to either side for balance while his tail slapped the ground, sliding along the grass only to enhance the pleasure, he started going at it. This was going to be a long night for Rintaru to work off his rut so he would look presentable for Foxy in the morning. It was already a little past midnight, and so he gradually built up another climax and rode it, again and again.

Cedric perked up when Klin mentions the sorcerer and birds, wondering who that could be. He remembers that they said he could be on this planet, following them, so he best be on the lookout. He listened to them go back and forth yet again until he could speak. "Well, if you don't want to part with the jackets I could have someone patch them up for you," Cedric replied, looking out to gaze at the city as they started descending the hill, getting ever closer to it.

"I am glad to hear that my healing helped, and I for one am hungry since it took me awhile to heal you guys from last night," Cedric said right as his stomach growled. He rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment before continuing on. "Either way, there are many good taverns and inns in Grasmere where you can rest and think about what you want." While Klin and Kyo talk again, Cedric squinted his eyes, looking hard at the ground in front of the city. If it was not so dark, he could have sworn that that bulge on the ground was a dragon, a big one at that. "Must be one who likes the night." He whispered to himself.

The technology might look primitive on the outside in the city of Grasmere, but in certain places there were computers and electrical appliances to aid in teaching, farming and other daily things. As hiccup and his friend toothless flew over the city, Joryn was laying back, reading from an old book. For hiccup and toothless, the feel of the night air always calmed them down after a hectic day. Zooming past tall buildings, twisting around corners and flying so high that they could see Gudon's Mountain really wore them out. As they were flying back to their temporary home in Grasmere, he spotted a lone figure in the streets below. Everyone had heard of the bunny prince, and although he had not seen her, he was as curious to meet her as he had been to train dragons.

"Hold on toothless, someone's down there," He called to his buddy, causing him to hover in place before landing on top one of the nearby buildings. Toothless let out a rumble as hiccup removed his helmet to take a closer look. She wasn't that far away, and by the way things looked; it would seem to him that she was lost. "Why don't we help her out bud?" Hiccup said, patting toothless on the neck.

With a gentle leap, toothless sprang off the building with more than a clatter and landed on the street below. He walked towards the bunny with his helmet under his left arm and with toothless to his right. Approaching the lost bunny, hiccup motioned for toothless to stop and proceeded on, even as he opened his wide maw and let out a low moan like a no. Hiccup stopped and cringed, looking back at him in an annoyed look and 'ill deal with you later.' Turning back, he no doubt knew that she would have heard that, so he walked a few more steps forward and introduced himself.

"Hi, my names hiccup, and...this is toothless, sorry for scaring you. I came here because you looked lost, is there anything I can do to help?" Hiccup asked, reaching out a hand with his helmet under his left arm. The bunny up closed definitely looked royal and also young from the descriptions of her he had heard of. He knew he would have to get her to trust that toothless meant no harm first, which should not be very hard if he was nice.

"Looks like you're a treasure trove of information my little buddy," Was the first thing Maurel said when discovering that the cat in his lap had indeed been copying everything that he had seen, even back to when Colby had been visiting him. The only subject now was how he was going to use what he had found to get the cat to be loyal to him. The second he thought of it, it came to him, Lots of food, sleep, and attention were probably the best, Maurel said to himself. It was true this cat could have come from that sorcerer, but he had no way of confirming that, at least not yet. Then when he started thinking of tomorrow and how he would have to deal with Venro and his incompetence, he sighed.

The energy this cat had was small, plain and not much use on its own, but should he add some of his to its resource, this cat could be able to copy whatever move, spell or ability he uses. Might backfire if that sorcerer comes back, but until then... Maurel thought, pulling back his mental probe to let the cat sleep as he yawned out loud. "Must be later than I..." He paused when looking over to see what time it was. He almost jerked off the couch were it not for the fluffy reminder on his lap. Carefully picking the cat up, he went upstairs and blinked his eyes once he opened the door, materializing a comfy bed for his new companion beside his own. Setting the cat down, he got undressed till he was in his underwear and hopped into his bed. Just hope Lish'ua does not wake him up again, was his last thought before drifting off to sleep.

Within the small mountain range that Panic is heading for rests many caves and animals that call it home. They did not mind the snow, as it was rather comfortable for them. Food was a challenge to hunt, but not to find. On the right side of the range there is a dip in the mountains like a crescent moon. In one of the mountains at the far end was a cave that was lit up with orange light, contrasting the white sheet of snow outside. Inside lived two wolves, one of them particularly special while a fire was going merrily in the middle of it. The cave was warm and at the far back was a nest lined with many pelts taken from the various animals that live in the mountain range.

Lying in the nest were the two wolves, a mated pair resting together after a long day of hunting. The male was a silver wolf, bigger than ordinary wolves and stronger too as he was a Protector. He would reach up to a man's midsection with all the muscle and strength to go behind it. The female was close in size but considerably more lean and curvy than her mate; in fact, she also appeared slowed down and fat because she was pregnant at the moment with a litter of pups. The male had been searching for a meal for both of them to feast on, as the female was too weak and vulnerable to go out and descend the mountain while it was snowing. Now they are both cuddled up, the male resting on the back of the females in their nest as they sleep soundly.

The males name is Starlight and the females name is Lilyheart. Star, being a silver wolf and Protector has unique abilities since he is a wolf. Lilyheart though is just an ordinary wolf, mated to one who loves her very much. In their cave high up the mountain, some would think it odd that wolves would make their home so high up, but it is both for Protection and for a beautiful sunset. The peace is broken however as Lily twitches in her sleep, abdomen muscles contracting as she goes into labor. Another whimper brings her mate out of his sleep, shaking his head and blinking his eyes to find out what is the matter with his mate.

Star nudges Lily's neck, gently nibbling her fur to get her to wake up. She cringes, pulling her legs in closer to her as another contraction goes through her, causing a pained whimper to be heard by her mate but does not wake up. This time Star grabs onto her left ear and bites down carefully while prodding her with his mind. Lily gradually starts to wake up before another contraction comes. She raises her head and opens her eyes fearfully as Star retreats back, licking her neck soothingly while she growls in pain. "Lily, it is time. You are going into labor." Star says to his mate, making her turn her head to look at him.

"I wondered what I was feeling." She replies, reaching down to caress her swollen stomach with her nose but whimpers as another contraction comes.

"Easy, just lay down and rest, they will come soon enough." Star says to Lily, calming her down.

She responds by licking his muzzle then rubbing herself alongside him as the fire continuous to dance in the night, illuminating their cave so they can see. How the fire got there? Star has magic of course, being a Protector. He leans closer to wrap his left paw around her chest, pulling her back to him so she feels safe. Her contractions come steadily, slowly, painfully pushing out the first pup of the litter. It takes a long time but Star is right beside his mate to comfort her. With slow breathing and concentrated pushing, Lily eventually can feel the first pup right up against her folds.

She whimpers in fear, scared that the pain will be too much but Star is right there to calm her, licking along her cheek lovingly as she pushes, growling and grunting as the first pup slowly emerges. When it slides out and onto the floor, Lily is right there to lick the sack off and clean the pup, a healthy male. She guides it to her tits once he is clean as the contractions start again, closer together and stronger this time. Star is still there to sooth his mate through the whole process as the second one is not as painful as the first but very much tiring. It takes a good half an hour for the next one to arrive, leaving Lily panting and tired. The third one gives her no break as she just breathes through it, resting her head near her mate.

Aurora takes a step back with a surprised squawk when the girl's armor disappeared; spreading her wings as she looked her over to see that she was floating off the ground.Whoever this girl is must be special if she can do that, Aurora thought to herself. Eventually she folded her wings onto her back and cooed while the girl stood still and mumbled, obviously not knowing how to answer. After some time she sighed, going for something she hoped was much easier. "Forget about that for now," Aurora said, shaking her head. "Can you tell me what your name is?" She asked, certainly curious as to how she got here and who she is. Something's can wait, She said to herself.

Madam Poodle:

Render still hadn't said much, combating the turbulent air, still flipping and flapping around his hair over his features, eventually combing his fingers into his hairline to keep them from tickling over it as they neared the ground.

"I have rations I can make last for at least this night and next." He said, simply put. While the locks of the other still flew about like a book on a windy day, not as much of it was drafting over the eyes and face. He once more returned to silence thereafter.

While this was a very nifty and very well-crafted defense module to stop him in his tracks, Jacen would have outside his knowledge the capabilities of the horse itself and the Black Knight, having himself a magus' eye saw these formations. He had considered simply ramming right through, but that would leave him wide open, and without souls, as he would have wasted them all trying to hack the barrier, at least, so he would have liked to have resorted to. The knight has many means to mitigate spells like that which is on the ground on the other side of the imaginary wall, and his horse could have probably pushed through all on its own as well, but that would be both too much effort, and not enough discretion, and while Jacen's life meant little to him, the chance of pushing through so fast and hard would be a deathblow to him if he isn't cautious about moving beforehand, or in the nick of time.

While the Knight was prowling on, Tanuki had waited until he saw the forces back of. Strange, he didn't have the intentions on starting anything, really, crisis averted, right? But, one never knows. Do or don't, he had some places to be... well, not really, but town was a little to, hostile for him, so he'd prefer he not be here too much longer. But, he had one place yet to go, so he was to tend to that. Flipping the clerks some coins, one landing on the desk, the other missing it by a few lengths, he walked away into the night, and if one looked back to watch him off, he wasn't there long.

Back to the knight, he drew closer to this seemingly complex magic wall, he soon began to stand up, and when it seemed like he was going to jump, like one of things Jacen had foreseen him doing, he did, but with a bit of a twist. The Knight had jumped quite extraordinarily high even for him, it wasn't hard to see it, and Jacen likely would have even for as fast as it happened. What had happened was, as the Knight-on-horseback had gotten just before the wall of magic and jumped, his horse not only bucked its hind legs, giving him quite the notable boost, but, when he did jump, the horse was... gone... nowhere to been seen, seemingly. Although, its presence was still clear.

As for the knight of the armor more black than the nighttime shadows, he was a long ways up, even as his ascension started declining into a fall. He had cleared jumping over it, and now was in freefall the rest of the way down coming to an increasing fall to the ground now. It looked as if he would land on the symbol on the ground, but also like there was that slight chance he might miss it with the way he's falling. To top it off, the falling was also met with a sword pointed down, oblivious to Jacen's position however. While it exploited weakness one of Jacen's strategy against his plan to jump over, the only factor missing is the horse. In this sense, with his fall now approaching ground, the only way to counter his advance was a more direct approach, but with the Black Knight in no mood to deal with such trivialities, stopping his advancement as well as avoiding conflict or direct confrontation was going to be more than a challenge for the other. Blazing down with his fall, plumes of black seeping from every crevice on his body and armor and accelerating rapidly, Jacen would have to think quickly.

As the drake was out there having his fun dreams and tedious times with his own, problem per se, Foxy remained in her bath. Most of the time was spent coasting, relaxing, and playing with the suds a bit with her tail. While that ten or twenty percent may not sound quite like much, that percentage was statistically significant to both her, and modern science to a degree. Sadly, Foxy works like most females, and is most likely to become gravid during ovulation. Because she can't control her bodily functions quite that deeply, she takes contraception. Unlike her dragon counterpart, people as well as animals, she has to take them. If Rin did so much as engage intercourse with her without her contraception, her chances of getting pregnant skyrocket, even with a dragon's rather variable chances in mind. As statistic would normally read, should this occur, she's almost guaranteed to get pregnant with a traditional inside finish.

But even with that ten or twenty percent, that equates to roughly one-tenth to one-fifth of the time. With her contraception in place though, this percentage virtually doesn't exist, dropping way down to a mere 1.7% chance, a very promising 98.3% reduction. While the inhibitor and patch only provide a rather unsatisfactory prevention rate, her enzyme pill, given it simply releases an enzyme that kills the egg cell, boosts this rate way up to a near perfect prevention after it's done its job. If sperm is inside of her after the egg has died, it can't impregnate her.

Back to Foxy, eventually, she stayed in her bath long enough, and eventually began to quickly scrub herself down with some soap by hand, dumping water on herself to rinse it off. Using some for her face and hair, she rinsed it down using water straight from the tap rather than from the tub. Done, she pulled the tub stopper with her foot, and then got out, stepping out on a bath mat, and some old clothes she found. With water now draining out of the tub very slowly, Foxy began to shake off, and dry a little bit with her towel, making sure to blot and wipe around her body thoroughly and well. Dry enough to walk without dripping all over the floor, she wrapped her towel around herself, and headed out the door, unaware of what the other had been doing for the past hour or so. Heading back the way she came from, her trek led her back to the bedroom, where she was before. Sitting back down on the bed, she took a bit in here for her fur to dry just a bit more, keeping her towel on just in case someone wanted to enter.

It was of note to her that she did hear some faint noises while she was finishing up her bath, wondering if that was Rintaru out there. She hadn't heard it so much on her way back from her bath, so she presumed that whatever happened happened already. When she was done drying, she would surely try and catch him if nothing else to cap the night off. With that, she came to wait, occasionally rubbing her towel against herself to get some inbound moistures still within the fur.

Walking on, the conversations raved on between the three, having changed little in the past day. Grasmere just within a few paces away, the questions and suggestions of where to go for rest and food came about, which brought about a whole other aspect all together.

"... Aren't taverns just like bars or pubs, just with some tables? I mean, yeah, I've had bar food... I mean... thinking about all those drunks walking around in there."

"I should note that the bars where Klin lives have a reputation for drunken mayhem and shenanigans." Klin said with Kyo noting afterward.

True as the human said, Klin's area of town has many bars and pubs around. Many of them are fairly near one another, which unfortunately makes barhopping easy. With that in mind, it wasn't uncommon to see bar fights, loud drunkards walking about, bottles all over the place, trash bins that smell like throw-up, police cars rolling about at night, and of course, some drunken hooligan doing something bold, sometimes crude and very often ill-advised. Klin's slight fear of bars stems from this fact of reality, and to this day has never been to a place that sells alcohol in large quantities. But, Klin would wait to hear it from Cedric first as they kept to proceedings.

In Lyria's world, her head had been practically glued to the map, again, trying to wrap her head around where she was. Which way was which, and what ally was what. She had read maps plenty of times, though not only were they usually regional or national maps, but this was also a big city. She knew she was somewhere near the center, as some things labeled on the map she seemed to be able to spot way ahead. Still, it was too far to get a more accurate gauge of where she was. Quite, embarrassing for a prince of another land to be challenged by a simple map, of another land, mind you. She also stuck out quite like the proverbial sore thumb. Her attire was unlike any other's around by far, that sword was distinguishable as an original, and let's not forget those large rabbit ears are unmistakably discernible from a group of people. One simply couldn't blame her for being found so easily, not even her sudden visitor, whose ruckus got her attention as Hiccup and Toothless made to the ground.

Hearing clatter much like armor on a soldier, Lyria's head instantly picked up, and turned around with her body; hand on the pommel of her weapon, but only that as she looked to see who had made such a noise so closely. They could see the look on her face get fairly serious as she turned around, though surprise was seen in her eyes as well. She settled only a bit as the other approached her, giving a name and word of assistance. Any more or less discrete and she wouldn't have hesitated to pull her blade. Nonetheless, she calmed down from her near confrontational scare.

"I will admit, that's generous to offer your name and help after a scare like that. Although, I would have asked your name anyway." She said, her heart stopping the fast tempo, her ears sinking back, and her hands back to resting position.

With a sigh though, she turned down the request for help, only to remember once she realized she was holding the map, and picked it back up again much the same as before the duo even arrived. Face once more buried, she turned around and made just one step forward, before she stopped again, still lost, and still can't locate the map point where she is, it was a pain, but she was lost, almost refusing to admit it.

The cat made an excellent resource for gathering information, as was Panic!'s original intent in summoning it. Because Copycats are perhaps the most proficient in gathering information, it's easy to obtain from them. Even the information's of Maurel's materialization was integrated into the cat's head. Copycat's energy, although plain and often less than impressing, actually has some rather unique properties along with the cat's abilities. Copycats can copy just about anything, as has been discovered. The science behind it is more interesting, however.

As Copycats learn certain behaviors, they not only develop from them, but they can actually, given enough to go on, copy a certain action right down to its bare cor. Copycats, along with their innate ability to copy certain gestures of an action, can also sense magic signatures, magic sources, channels, conversions, and output levels; being able to adjust these perimeters to its own body is one of its many unique copying abilities, which is often usually why most techniques it can copy aren't as potent. The energy in the cat may be plain and simple to its constitute, but this makes it incredibly flexible. Because the cat exhibits no affinities, it has no biases, making nothing easy, nor hard to replicate. When it was duplicating Maurel's materialization of the food he gave it earlier, it was doing much the same thing; the only reason nothing spawned was because the cat can't speak. Fueling it with some of Maurel's own could help it, the energy of Maurel enriching its own, and gather the affinities of Maurel's, making some things easier for it.

There's even a possibility that, while Maurel couldn't have seen this, copycats can even copy the tool someone might have been using to carry out a certain action. For example, if a samurai slashed a sword, or a boxer threw a punch, the first thing the cat would copy would obviously be the gestures and movements used to carry out the action. However, if they study or see the action enough times, it can even copy a scaled down version of the things they were using during the action. In the case of the samurai and the boxer, the sword and the gloves would be copied respectively, along with the swing of the sword, and the punch the boxer threw with the glove on. Eventually, if Maurel uses it enough, the cat will very likely be able to use a scaled version of his staff as well.

But as it were time for bed, the cat once again made a somewhat light, rumbling hum out as it was picked, and placed into a cat bed where, after a few minutes of standing on it, and sniffing around, it kneaded, and eventually laid down, paws tucked in, and staying cozy as Maurel drifted away to sleep. Eventually, sometime after Maurel had been asleep, slumber eventually took the cat as well.

Panic! kept to flying, with a plan out of the way, his next thoughts led him to ask about what thing he was going to do next. Flying on, his journey only got more and more full of smiles and more settling thoughts to the sorcerer. He, although having supposedly lost the night before, was confident, and sure he was going to get what he pleased, no matter what it cost, and with where he was looking to go, this should be a chinch. For once in the entirety of his being here, imagining the looks on people's faces already in all the things of evil and bad things he could instill in the people's hearts. He knew doing so was harder than he thought it was going to be, but the thought still tickled his fancy greatly, unknowingly, the mountains being in sight nearby if he weren't lost in his imagination.

As he was carried along, the bird he was flying on make a nice, echoing craw out to the sky. Its speed was consistent, and wings mostly stationary, only flapping every few times to keep its altitude. It craw was something of a warning to Panic! as it was going to fly lower, thus it had to change altitude. While flying lower meant the air was thicker, it was slightly warmer near the heights under the mountaintops, not still high above the valleys as they began to near, and feel the chills. Panic! seemed mostly unphased by the oncoming cold, the bird still well insulated by its thick and wholly feathers.

Megumi found this was a question she could answer. With an enthusiastic 'Oh,' she did just that. Let's be honest, giving someone there name was very far beyond simply, and at least she can remember what people call her.

"I'm Megumi Tsunahashigawa. I'm 16 years old, and go to school in a place called New X. It's a little circular island in the middle of the sea, and they call something called a 'colony.' All I know is its big, and full of shiny buildings, and people, and all sorts of things!" She said, her name turning into a short biography, and saying these things as if many of them were new concepts. A slight twitch of those rhombus-shaped protrusions out the back of her hair became noticeable, and seemed rather fine to explain, almost like a child after a field trip.

StarLight Nova:

** ** Kur'si nodded when Render replied, flapping his wings a few times to maintain his trajectory and angle as a cold gust of wind blew by. This would not affect either of them as he had placed a warming spell on Render to keep out the chill of the night while his scales and warm blood naturally protected him against these types of temperatures. The figure that Kur'si had spotted now flies off to the Veran'ki forest to meet up with one of the gryphon's carrying the news of Tanuki and the Black Knight. It takes another half an hour of gentle gliding to reach the ground where Kur'si lies on his stomach low to the earth so that Render could climb off.

Once his companion has disembarked, he walks over to the lake and dips his head down to take a long drink. Walking back, he sits on his hind legs and claws at the dirt again, muttering a few words like Vaxil did to cause wood to rise out of the ground before lighting it with a well control exhalation of fire, casting a spell to keep the wood burning longer than normal. Kur'si then settled down on his right flank, folding his wings comfortably on his back before resting his head on the ground near his paws. "Keep the food for yourself; I can hunt in the morning." Kur'si replied to Renders question that he had said over half an hour ago.

As the two settle down for the night with a fire burning bright between them, gryphon number one had been lead back to The Village Hidden in the leaves by Sai on his ink summoned eagle to inform Naruto of the situation. He would not stay long, having a quick snack before setting off again to Tenby, which most likely would take one day to arrive. Gryphon number two on the other hand was flying over the Bruhm forest next to the large mountain range and would arrive before noon to inform the inhabitants of the news his other friends were distributing.

Vaxil, Sunray and Nizar would have passed a good portion of the mountain range on their part, nearing in on the town of Harnsey while coming close to a gryphon nest. Since every one lives in peace, territories are not needed as much either and so many gryphons and dragons are seen living together in areas that suit them the most. Although, there are some of each kind who prefer to be alone, and so are able to choose to live wherever they want, tolerating any travelers, as dragons can be solitary creatures in their own rights. The largest gathering of dragons would rightfully be Dragon's Valley, lead by Calemvir.

Jacen was calm as the Knight approached, bearing down on him but still he stood firm, not wavering or blinking. For Ceale, he was ignorant of the clink of a coin on the counter and of the one that missed, dropping to the floor. He was too far scared to care about if someone paid with money on a planet where none was necessary. Curling further into his corner, he accessed his magic and made himself invisible until whatever was happening stopped or the threat was gone.

Jacen also knew from Colby about how high the Knight could jump, but the addition of the horse caught him off guard, but as he was taught, never for long. He clenched his teeth, widening his stance as he dragged his left hand back to hold his right bicep. Pivoting on his left foot, he spun around one hundred and eighty degrees before tilting up to aim his right arm at the night, bringing the shield he had used to block the knights path with him, stuck in its position of about a foot or so away from his hand and still remaining the size it was, while phasing into the ground. "Don't think you can get away from me that easily!" Jacen shouted, stomping his left foot on the ground to move the spell he had place on the ground to his will.

Leaning backwards while he positioned the blood red spell beneath the knight, he called out as the barrier in front of him changed forms. "Under the moon and stars and the breath of man, capture the evil that has invaded our land!" Jacen said as the barrier developed three points on the outer edge of the circle. Three spheres, one blue, one yellow and the other white, all positioned at equal spots as their color started to escape the spheres and travel in an arc clockwise towards the center where they coalesced. Jacen moved his left arm forward, pulling back his right sleeve to reveal his entire arm covered in an intricate tattoo of ancient design as it pulsed a brilliant yellow into the night, illuminating his face with determination and sweat.

As the speed of the colors spinning got faster, he spoke in a more urgent tone while lowering his arm as the knight fell. "From the guardian to the devil, through space and love eternal! My will will see it through, what destiny has in store for you!" Jacen said before tensing up his entire body with his energy while the barrier now spun to make the colors seem like a kaleidoscope. With a loud whirring of a buildup, he released his hold on the spinning barrier, launching it at the spot where the knight will be falling. Trailing colors of blue, yellow and white were left behind as it was sent at the knight still spinning. Spanning a twenty feet diameter, it was inevitable it would most likely hit, and when it did, the edges of the circle would curl forward to ensnare the knight within a sphere of the three colors as it dropped to the ground where he would further be immobilized by the red spell beneath.

With his arm still glowing bright yellow, he lowered it to his side as he began to walk forward while the knight fell to the ground inside his capture sphere. His abilities and training have allowed him to combine attacks of defense so if one failed; he could quickly transition to the next. Once the sphere was stuck on the red spell on the ground, he approached the knight calmly, asking him one question. "Why have you come to this town knight?" He asks, looking at him as the sphere has enough room to allow the knight to stand but is forced to crouch. The brightness of the tattoo on his right forearm determines how strong the spell is. If it should fade, then the spell is released. Right now, Jacen's breathing is slightly heavy; contributing to how much energy it took to change attack while he concentrated on containing and repressing the knight's power.

Erik, on the other hand is desperately trying to figure out where Tanuki went, as no Night Drakes have been able to see him. The one that was three houses diagonally from the store now walks forwards, hopping over the counter with ease to provide Ceale with some reassurance. Although Night Drakes do not like to be kept as pets or companions, working neutrally with anyone, they are fiercely protective of any species relative to them.

If Rintaru was not restless before, he was brimming with energy now. Still stroking his painfully throbbing phallus into the night and morning, his breathing was labored as he panted with his maw open and his tongue lolling out. His tail thumped on the ground incessantly while his wings fluttered and his pleasure constantly rose. The heat Rintaru was feeling deep within his loins was enough to make him think of nothing other than his need, the insatiable desire to relieve himself; even though he had been pressing his paw firmly against his sensitive ridges for awhile now.

Nothing else mattered except his want to orgasm, but every time he sped up to where the pressure in his loins would be too much, it felt like he could not climax and it would drop down again and he would have to start all over. Even squeezing his knot painfully so did nothing more than cause him to release another spurt of pre-cum, which would only coat his scales and crotch more so as time, went on. He faced the river, getting enough semblance of himself every so often to stand up and dive into the river with a loud splash, but he quickly leapt out for fear of having a fish latch onto his shaft. He did not want to deal with that right now, so as soon as he came back out, dripping wet, he sat back down in the same spot, spread his hind legs and balanced himself before pumping his shaft as fast as he could go.

Every time he would leap into the water, the noise was certainly loud enough to be heard by Foxy as she was drying off in her room by the time he took the first dip. It seemed like his pleasure was only continuing to build until it was released by something. Rintaru tried picturing the fox in his mind, naked and filled with his large member, but his focus was not to be, only his need to climax. He tried bending over to suck himself off, but that ended in him falling over on his side with a loud thump, no doubt something Foxy could hear now that she was closer to him in the house.

After however many minutes it took for Foxy to finish cleaning and drying herself, Rintaru had leapt back into the river two more times in frustration. Clenching his teeth, he wrenched his right arm away from his throbbing phallus with difficulty; only the soft caress of a midnight breeze brought him away, clearing his mind enough for him to think reasonably. Placing his forelegs on the outside of his thighs, away from his painfully throbbing shaft which was constantly leaking pre-cum, he shook his head to try and think of some way that he could achieve an orgasm. Breathing heavily, he took some time to roll ideas around in his mind, but that was hard when pictures of the fox always kept interrupting him.

Rintaru had to dig his claws into the ground to keep himself from reaching back and stroking himself furiously in an attempt to get off while his tail swished over the grass repeatedly. He froze however, when he unmistakably heard the front door open while his phallus throbbed between his hind legs and his eyes went wide to stare out over to the other side of the river with his breathing ragged. His wings made not a movement as he listened in on who it could be, trying to guess if it was Kuroda coming to check on him or, if it was the fox?

Cedric kept walking as Klin and Kyo said their part, but he just chuckled and smiled, looking at the horizon to watch as the city of Grasmere loomed ever closer. "Yes, they are, but this is a peaceful planet. There is whiskey and ale and stuff, but everyone respects one another. I have never heard of anyone getting too drunk where they started a fight so far. Besides, our drinks are specially made to prevent that." Cedric replied, slowing down while walking off to the right until he was besides Kyo and wrapped his left arm around him.

He waited for Klin to catch up and put his right arm around his as they continued to walk. Smiling happily at both before talking some more. "Wait till you see the inside of the city, it is even more spectacular than what you see now." Cedric explained, looking to each of them before patting them on the backs and spreading his arms high into the sky. "There are many recreational buildings, houses, of course, docks, fishing, roosts, etc. Without me or a map, I bet you would be lost within it." He said, lowering his arms as all three walked side by side, Cedric in the middle with Kyo to the left and Klin to the right.

Inside the city, Hiccup had put up his right hand when the bunny had turned around with her hand on her weapon. Toothless snarled but released not a sound, calming down as the bunny relaxed to his question. He was stumped when she turned down the request for help, must be as stubborn as me, Hiccup thought. After she turned back to read the map again, he knew she was lost, as after one step she did not move any more. Looking back to Toothless who had sat down, he walked back to place his helmet down in front of the black dragon before going up to the bunnies side.

"If you're trying to read the map," Hiccup said over her right shoulder, backing off if she jumped of whipped around to face him. "Why don't you just tell it where you're trying to go?" He said with a shrug of his shoulders. He waited for a few moments before explaining why it was not ridiculous. "The map is magical, just say where you want to go and it will lead you there." Hiccup said, crossing his arms against his chest while Toothless waited patiently behind them. For Colby, he would twitch in his sleep, feeling very subtle bursts of energy coming all the way Hen'lai through the earth with his affinity with nature and connection with the tree of life but he would not wake.

Maurel by now was fast asleep, worn out by the past few days' events and more than a couple surprises. Lish'ua and her mate Venro were cuddled up together inside the barn after having tired themselves out after mating. The farmer had some difficult choices to make in the morning, what to do with Venro and the cat he had found. If trained right he could use it as a guardian should that sorcerer ever come back, though how much progress it made would have to be seen. While the farm was peaceful once more, back in the small mountain range near the village of Tenby, Star continued to sooth his mate as she gave birth to a litter of pups.

The third was spent breathing deeply with her mate beside her, but it still hurt a lot. While the first two were suckling on her tits for milk, the next one was proving to be more stubborn. Star kept whispering soothing words to her, trying to calm her down and have her focus on him instead of the pain. The fire kept the cave lit in a respectable amount, and while it made it warm, they did not mind at all. Star continuously licked his mate's neck to comfort her as she pushed when she could, the strength draining out of her. By the way her abdomen looked, she still had a few more to go, and he hoped it went without any trouble or interference.

As it was said, after Lilyheart gave birth to their third pup and cleaned it, picking it up to bring it near his brethren, she felt a large contraction ripple through her abdomen. Practically squealing in pain, Starlight was right there to calm her and see what the problem was. Lilyheart did not respond, limps locked as she clenched down to try and stop the onslaught of pain going through her stomach. Another contraction came and brought tears to her eyes, making her flatten her ears against her head, greatly concerning her mate as to what was causing her such distress. Since it seemed she would not speak to him, he placed his left paw lightly on her slightly swollen abdomen and sent out faint pulses of energy to try and see what could be causing his mate such pain.

His eyes widened when he saw that the fourth pup was turned around so that it was coming butt first instead of head first. Star knew enough not to panic, instead he stood up and connected his mind with his mates, trying to sooth and calm her as best her could as he padded around to face her hind legs and wet fur. With three pups already nursing from her, he knew he had to be careful not to disturb them, so he lowered his muzzle and began lapping vigorously at her sex so that the pleasure would override the pain. It worked for a few seconds until another contraction came, making Lily growl out in discomfort and move her hind legs closer to her chest, disturbing the young pups.

Star placed both paws on her hips to steady her, looking up and over her shaking body to stare at her eyes, at her flattened ears and bared teeth. He began to purr, penetrating her folds with his tongue as the fourth pup made its way painfully down her passageway. Lilyheart pushed hard with all the strength she had but it only made the pain worse even though her mates attention was mitigating some of it. She returned her affections as best she could, whimpering when it became too much. Minutes turned into a few hours and the fourth pup had still not come close; the only assumption Star could make right now was that it was dead.

Lilyheart did not like that however, and told him she could feel it moving so she kept pushing, already straining her exhausted body. Star had put the other three pups in the nest a while ago and placed warm pelts around them to keep them warm while he helped Lily get through this. It was already past midnight and the fire was starting to go down so he had to get this pup out, dead or alive so she could deliver the last one or else she might not have enough strength to do it.

The first thing he did was stand up and reposition himself so he was in front of his mates abdomen as he placed both his paws delicately on the swollen patch. He closed his eyes as Lily laid her head down and breathed heavily, panting as the pain was constant and never ending yet she remained relatively quiet. Star told his mate about what he was going to do, and although she was scared, she had full trust in him. One pup was nothing to lose if it meant she was still alive and well, so Star pulled on his energy and began strengthening his mate while making the contractions more powerful with electric pulses.

The effect was instantaneous as she pushed as hard as she could while the contractions aided in guiding the dead or alive pup down the birth cannel. A few more contractions and pained whimpers later, Lily felt the pup crest butt first. Star was behind her in an instant, pressing his nose against the pup to see if it was alive or dead while he let his mate rest for a while. Ears drooping, sadly, he raised his head to look at Lilyheart with a sad expression which made her whimper; the pup had been in her too long. Placing his right paw on her hind leg, he gripped the dead pup within his jaws and pulled, causing Lily to elicit a sharp yelp of pain as Star pulled the pup put.

He stood up with the bloodied and dead pup and brought it to the edge of the cave, dropping it over the cliff to dispose of it, leaving a faint red trail in the snow down the mountain. Returning to his exhausted mate and lying against her back, they both waited until their last pup decided to make its way out. The fire was low but still going, illuminating the cave in a gentle light as the two wolves slept, Lily not knowing when the contractions would start again so she could give birth to her last pup. Star had brought the other three over so she could keep them warm and secure as the night drifted on.

"Well...that was a bit more than I expected," Aurora replied while ruffling her feathers, lookout out past Megumi at the landscape before returning her gaze after a bit of thinking. "I have never heard of a place called New X." She said, shifting from foot to foot occasionally before shaking her head, making a few flames waft up into the night sky to dissipate from her around her neck. "I am Aurora, a phoenix, as I already said," She explained, looking at the scenery some more. "How about I take you someplace warmer so we can talk, and maybe get you something to eat?" Aurora asked, turning sideways to her right, presenting the Tree of Life even though Megumi could probably see it looming over both of them in the distance.

Madam Poodle:

** ** Once down upon the ground, he hopped off of Kur'si's back with just a plop, landing on the ground easefully. Readjusting his collar, the monkey soon enough sat himself much the same way he did with Vaxil back just a night ago. Fire now started, and the other now on his side, the night did the rest after a reply on Render's end.

"Good. I didn't plan on sharing; then again, this is probably a mere flea to you. It wouldn't do you any good in anyway." He said bluntly.

Proceeding to raid on his rations, Render once more was silent. Kur'si would perhaps have a first-hand pick-up now on just how rash Render can be. Aside from that, Render stayed up for at least awhile longer than the other might have.

Tanuki wasn't so much as nowhere to be found. Tanuki, since he was detected anyway, was taking the most obvious path through town, though, taking a route closer to alleyways and divots in the road in case to sneak about. His walking was a little... slow, and his mind seemed, unconcentrated. He was, starting to stray a bit, just like earlier in the day, as his mind and body had been working overtime. He still focused on walking ahead, but it seemed to him like a longer trip than normal, something one notices little when they're used to long stints of endurance activity a day. He also had the shaking feeling of someone coming for him.

As for the knight, despite the unexpected gift of a flash show before his imprisonment, he can't say he didn't see this coming, of course, there's always one. While he tried to boulder through, he apparently got trapped, and as expected, Jacen placed him over the red mark on the ground. How appalling, 'I knew it', he'd mutter very quietly before Jacen approached and asked his question. While he normally talks quite meanly and irritatingly, he was perhaps more antsy and frustrated this time around, to him, this was costing him valuable time, like someone being stopped by the cops, or having to stop at the penalty box during a race. Thus, he made that straight and clear, and he was taking anything other than his release. A growl pitched his gullet before he spoke just what his mind was thinking.

"Dared you to stop me yes you did, but trivial defenses such as this won't hold me back any more than they would yourself. If it not been for my purpose in coming here, I would have simply broken straight through; 'how' I will not tell. Nay not you worry about your people for now! I wouldn't waste such power on ordinary mortals such as people. I'm here for another person's deed; Feel his presence, do you not?"

He asked while Jacen would ponder that, the Knight would move a hand slightly while he talked. In essence, he used this time as well as listen to work on the seal below his feet; luckily, he has magic that can help him here. As far as the barrier, what he said remains true, but he'd rather not waste his blade and power he charged up on a mere defense module.

"Pardon me, but for this, I must stand." He said, regardless of what Jacen had said or was going to do.

"By this: his hand in aid, lend us our blessing of freedom from our bounds and break loose of our links!" He said, once concluded, nothing, at least nothing visible.

In truth, the knight had cast an anti-seal, a form of dispelling magic. However, to keep it quick and without taxation, he only used a little sliver of his power. This anti-seal works by using magic to essentially destabilize magic used to bind seals. On most cases, there is usually no solution to mitigate anti-seal unless the concentration of magic is very dense, as in beyond superhuman dense. In the case of the knight, he should be free to at least stand within an approximation of around 5 minutes, for now, he remained kneeled down, for it was all he was capable of doing.

After another quick look-over, and a spotty one-two with the towel there and here/here and there, the fox, realized something. It had just hit her like a bolt of Zeus' lightning thrown straight at her cranium. What had hit her so hard, and so suddenly like taking a pro boxer's right hook, was that the clothes she used to get out of the tub, were the only clothes she had. Just as she got up and took a step forward, she froze mid-step for a bit, realizing this situation. As she unfroze, and looked about, she realized more just how dire a situation she was in. On top of that... it was her uniform she stepped on.

"... Uh-oh. This is, not good." She muttered to herself, her towel held up simply by it being wrapped and tucked around her bust.

While it was still fairly early to be putting on some clothes; furred critters are often advised to dry out completely before putting on clothing where she lives, primarily because it's easy to develop fungal infection. Foxy at this point was only mildly damp, the only trace of moisture being a rather slippery coarseness when touching her fur. Now that she was drier than before, and enough to not drip much when she stands, she sighed, and did as she said she was going to do.

Having to suck up, and hold in her embarrassment whilst covering with a mere towel, she mustered up the courage, and walked out to the great nightly outdoors. Having heard someone out here before, she was quite cautious with being out there as she looked left first, then right, right over Rintaru, before she looked out and over, eventually coming upon what appeared to be the silhouette of what she might perceive as him in the nearer distance. Looking for a few moments, she'd develop a look of confusion, not only astounded he possibly being the cause of all those unusual noises (Even though Kuroda noted that to her just this afternoon), but, he seemed tense, and wasn't facing her. It was quite peculiar, but no less, she said her dues and diligences.

"Uhh, H-hello?" She said, seeing if she could get the little dragon's attention.

Klin would still be skeptical. Even in his world where bars aren't allowed to serve drinks above 30 proof in alcoholic content, there always is that one person who gets too over his limit, and even though they may not starts fights, they get pretty, loopy.

"You can never make a drink that keeps people from getting wasted, y'know, I mean, it's simply; the more they drink, they more drunk they get. Even if they don't start a fight, it's still pretty stupid. But, if you say so." He said, soon enough, having been caught by the other's arm, as well as Kyo as he was walking along, a slight 'Mrf' sounding as he was caught.

"Uhh, can I help you?" Klin asked rhetorically. And after a stammer from the pats on the back, Kyo had made a slight, silent comment to himself beside Cedric.

"That's founded on the clear premise that we've never even stepped foot into this town until just now." Kyo muttered to himself.

Nonetheless, they walked on with him, now separated by a man in the middle. Despite the different architecture and group of people, it was no different than being back home to the two of them. It never stopped them from looking, but no less, it wasn't too drastically different. for 'em.

As for our young royal rabbit friend, she would still read at the map, up until there appeared a Hiccup yond side her shoulder. Stammering a bit in the opposing direction, Lyria would, after a bit of a startle, listen to this man and what would to her sound like total gibberish. She looked on in a clear confusion, almost giving him that look like he was completely silly.

".....That's... preposterous. If maps could tell you where to go, I wouldn't need one, would I? I just, need to know which way's north, and where I am." So she replied.

She didn't believe in this map, and would prefer to skip demonstrations for the time being, concluding for, for the time being, rolling up the parchment into a small scroll she had in here pocket on the inside of her coat.

"If there's something you need, I'd be of assistance, but I advise you keep it brief, for I have my own matters that I need tendance to." She said, now a few paces away from this man, her ears once more tucked back on her head.

The mountains surely weren't beachy warm, but he's suffered worse, he supposed. However, just to keep things right, Panic! snapped his fingers, and three dim, red flames circled around him for a bit as he flew by. He could feel and see all the presences of others nearby by interpreting their magic signatures, most were dull and ordinary, as well as rather far and wide. Two had caught his eyes, but like in a couple of other place today, he'd be better off staying away from that kind of domain. Even so, it intrigued him greatly. He tried to restrain a laugh, but it wheezed out quietly to himself, mostly.

How so many powerful figures could be in the same part of the world was quite astounding; the only thing he'd have to watch for is his back. As the bird flew mostly silently, Panic! remained practically psychotic in laughter and giggles, those red eyes of his having that evil glare in them. Oh, how he was dreaming right now was, in his opinion, was better than anything a king ever could dream of. It, to him, was pure gold, and he was sure it was to work. And whom he'd see and what he'd gain was going to be spectacular to say the least.

It was not hard at all to see the tree from here. But, nonetheless, Megumi peered over as Aurora had done with pointing to it. She stopped, and was simply awe-stricken, her eyes curious and glassy as she marveled. It was, simply so big, and she did this marveling for a good few minutes or so. She seemed, rather easily amazed, or amused by things, or intrigued by even simply things (or what one perceives as simple). Looking upon the tree, she totally forgot the question, again.

StarLight Nova:

** ** Kur'si heard Renders sharp reply, opening his left eye to look at the monkey from across the fire as he ate the food that he had on him. It was true, that due to his size, even if he ate everything Render had, it would barely make a dent in his hunger. His thoughts went back to what Vaxil had said before they had departed, that he did not trust anyone, and he had sensed the irritation in his voice when he had responded. With only a soft huff, he closed his eyes and shifted his head to lie on his front paws while shuffling his wings before taking a deep breath to go to sleep. He would be able to hunt in the morning once he got some rest, and even though the night was already half over, dragons did not need as much sleep as humans or other races, able to go about a week if they did not exert much energy in the process. Once he delivered Render to Colby, which is if he stays in Grasmere for at least a day, he would be able to go back to his friend Erik to help watch over the town. Hopefully nothing bad has happened since he left.

Meanwhile, gryphon number one was flying silently over the lake where Kur'si and Render were resting for the night. With wings made of feathers, this allowed gryphons to glide efficiently among air currents for long periods of time, seldom having to flap their wings to steady their course or gain altitude. The one drawback was the maintenance that was required to keep their wings clean and free of dirt, as the extra weight can be factored in when they fly in harsher winds or storms. This gryphon's colors were of ruddy brown and dust red, the most common color among gryphons where others could be radically different, going from vibrant to nearly pitch black. The second gryphon heading for Ser'ofin was making good progress as well, being a brighter shade of red with some green along the wings and flanks. As for the group of dragons heading west, they were nearly at the town of Harnsey where they would then split up, delivering the news to stay indoors once dusk settles. Each dragon could handle themselves well enough should they come across Panic, but for the gryphon heading to Tenby, he would have to be careful as he is not as strong as Lish'ua, but that did not mean he could not flea faster given the chance.

For Ceale, the Night Drake that had come to comfort him was now reassuring the little dragon that nothing would happen with brief growls, grunts and whines. It didn't matter that they were of two different species of the same race; dragons took care of each other. Ceale's elven friend has not woken up because of the spell Jacen used so the noise of the battle between him and the Knight were silenced, giving the townspeople their sleep. However, once he gets back into the house and tells him of what happened, his friend will surely sooth him and thank the Night Drake for looking after him. With Erik, he was keeping an eye on Tanuki while Jacen fought with the Knight, and seeing his slow pace, debated whether he should confront him and warn him that someone was after him, but thought against it when he remembers him stopping, knowing he was being watched by the Night Drakes. Still, he kept his space from him, ready to stop the Knight or usher Tanuki forward so they could handle their business outside of town. If Jacen could persuade the Knight to do that, they both would be grateful and would not intervene in his affairs should he allow them that wish.

Jacen could see the anxious look on the Knights face at having been stopped, or of what he could see of it anyway behind his helmet as he spoke. He smirked and huffed out in amusement when he says he could have broken out of this if he had wanted to, oh how he underestimates the power of a protector, even if he does not know of us right now, he will soon. Hearing him speak that the townspeople were safe from him gives him little reassurance given that battles always caused destruction if it happened within a town as he had the same thoughts as Erik, get him out at the very least. His expression returns to the tense look he had with his eyes narrowing as he listens to the Knight speak of someone else here. Closing his eyes with his right arm still glowing bright, it was inevitable that he knew the Knight would try and break out of this as well as try and confront the person they had been told to be on the lookout for. Colby had told both Erik and Jacen about his fight with the Knight, including the end, and even though it was just speculation, it can now be proven that the Knight is looking for people like Tanuki that threaten the peacefulness of this world.

With a calming breath, Jacen opens his eyes to look at the Knight. "Yes, we have been on the lookout for him ever since he has damaged the fountain earlier on today. He was gone before we could track him, so we are confused as to why he is back. But I can hazard a guess from having heard of him taking two canteens from a stall in the center of town as to where he might go." Jacen replies, feeling the Knight use his magic to gradually to escape his prison. He grits his teeth and clenches his right fist as the light from the ancient tattoo flares brighter, combating the Knights attempts to break free. At first the increase in illumination considerably brightens the street and night sky, casting shadows into any house surrounding them, threatening to wake up the inhabitants while forecasting their location to Tanuki should he look in their direction. After a few seconds the lights flicker and disappear, only to be replaced by flames of the same, yellow, blue and white color sprouting out from the tattoo and up his arm. Jacen does not seem to be harmed or fazed in any way by this change, only meaning he has brought the spell to a new level to hold the Knight within until he can ask him another question.

"I know you will escape my spell eventually, no matter how long I try and deny you as I cannot hold it for long, but I must ask you this. You say you will not harm the citizens of this town, but by confronting the person we have been tracking while in this town, both of you will inevitably damage the buildings around you." Jacen begins, breathing becoming labored as the flames on his arms waver back and forth with increasing intensity from his focus and concentration while sweat drips from his forehead. "Of this I ask a favor, do not engage until he is out of town. If you accept this, we will not intervene anymore, but I will say to do this for any town, village or city where you come across those you must fight."

Rintaru's tail brushed over the grass even as he tried to stay still, eliciting involuntary shivers from him as his throbbing shaft leaked a steady stream of precum over his prominent ridges. He could sense it was not Kuroda that had opened the door, as he would have already heard his voice, so it must be the fox, and he did not want to be caught by her in the state he was currently in, as not only would that be embarrassing, but just looking at her might set him off. He hoped she would not see him though his scales were shining brighter due to the fact he was in rut. Thankfully all she would be able to see is his back, wings and tail as he was facing away from her, thus hiding his erection that would not go away even if he did not touch it. The fire in his loins only increased and he felt trapped in his own scales as his body became hot and sweaty even though the night was cool and a fall breeze was blowing by, that did not help him much with his situation. He closed his eyes while baring his teeth and tightened his grip on the earth, tearing up the grass as his shaft throbbed painfully before his breath caught in his throat.

The hesitant voice broke him out of his trance so that he jumped and spun around to his left, flaring his wings high while inadvertently displaying his throbbing phallus that lay between his hind legs. Because of the numerous times he had taken a quick dip into the river, the ground below him had become slippery, and moving as quickly as he did, his right hind paw lost its grip and he fell onto his right flank with his right foreleg following after. He let out a surprised yelp at both the sight of the fox in front of him with only a towel to cover her up and the sudden fall he took as his head crashed into the ground, leaving him dazed. His throbbing phallus hits his scaled thigh, sending jolts of pain and pleasure racing up his spine before his left hind leg compresses it against his right, intensifying the pressure and fire within his loins while it squirts out some more precum. Rintaru gradually lifts his head up off the ground as he growls, shaking it vigorously while his wings are thankfully held high and are left undamaged by the fall. He soon lifts his left hind leg to relieve the pressure and reveal his throbbing phallus that is ribbed in veins with his knot greatly swollen and his ridges prominently standing out in the cool night air.

It does not take long for Rintaru to come back to his senses and look up with a startled expression on his muzzle as well as embarrassment at having shown his phallus to the fox. His breathing quickens as he scrambles to his feet to sit on his hind legs, his member bouncing this way and that, making Rintaru grunt and shake as it causes waves of pleasure to roll through his body yet he is not able to release the building pressure. He then wraps his wings around to shield his dignity from the fox in front of him, trying to calm his breathing as he lifts his head to stare at the fox with his shoulders raised and his neck low with his ear frills drooping. The second he lays eyes on her he is unable to look anywhere else except at her breasts, swallowing hard as his shaft throbs and leaks more precum, reminding him of his overwhelming need to release his seed. He shakes his head furiously just as quickly, knowing that staring at her while a towel only covers her is rude and improper of him as she is a guest, but he can't help but imagine what her sex would look, much less feel like around his throbbing length. He growls to himself in disdain, having closed his eyes to keep himself from looking at her, so instead he turns his head to the left to stare downriver as he speaks.

"I deeply apologize for the state you see me in. It is wholly inappropriate for me to stare at you while you are only covered in a towel. I...I will get you something you can wear once I...once I..." Rintaru stumbles, not knowing what to say and how to say it as his condition has not flagged in the least, in fact, it has only gotten more irritating now that Foxy is standing in front of him with her breasts showing clearly in the night with the light of the moon shining down, arousing him more than he was when he was dreaming, causing him to self-consciously buck his hips forwards while still covered by his wings. His tail swishes frantically left to right, the soft blades of grass contacting with his sensitive scales to throw his body into overdrive while his shaft leaks precum almost as if he has already climaxed. The pressure building in his loins and the fire inside starts to become almost insatiable and he struggles to keep himself from jumping the fox in front of him to sate his lust, mating with her multiple times so he can finally orgasm while he shivers uncontrollably, digging his fore claws into the ground to keep himself still. _ _

"Just you two wait." Cedric says with a soft laugh as he brings up his arms to lace his fingers behind his neck. "It will take some time to navigate the city, but once we are there you will be surprised by the decency and the...ahh...sober atmosphere as well as the quality of the food and service. The innkeeper is also a nice guy, a friend of Colby's and mine." Cedric explains, slowing down before he eventually stops while lowering his arms to either side. "And, well, there is no easy way to say this, or maybe there is, but he's an anthro dragon," Cedric says before raising his hands with his palms facing the starry sky while smiling. "But don't let that get to you, he is a nice guy and fun to be around." Cedric continues as he jogs to retake his place between Klin and Kyo before matching their pace.

By now the trio has gotten much closer to the city to be able to see it hugging the ocean to their left with no walls surrounding it. There are gradual dips in the earth where there are small hills leading up to it. None of the buildings are as massive or as tall as those in Klin and Kyo's world, but they are more breath taking close up. The time and effort it took to design each building and the cooperation between the elves and humans sure resulted in some sturdy buildings and a beautiful atmosphere containing the elements of nature and serenity. Cedric still looks at the silhouette of the dragon lying in front of the city on a hill, trying to think if he knows whom it is or if he has seen him or her before. The closer they get the more imposing the buildings feel, but to Cedric it feels like home as the moonlight sheds some light to allow them to see where they are walking. With the help of the moon, Cedric squints his eyes and raises his right arm to put it over his eyes, seeing the dragon on the hill and the faint colors on its scales. Even from their closing distance and the fact it is night out, he can identify whom the dragon, or dragoness to be exact, is.

"Is that...?" Cedric mumbles, using some of his power to enhance his eyesight. His eyes widen slightly and he opens his mouth in astonishment as he sees who it is while he leans his head back. "I thought they were...what is she doing here? Where's Colby?" He says to himself as he lowers his arm but continues to walk towards the city, changing their course slightly to head towards Cavynthra.

With Hiccup and Lyria, after she had spoken out loud of wanting to know which way is north and where she was; a small white dot with an arrow pointing up appeared in the somewhat general vicinity of the center of town exactly where Lyria stood. Before Hiccup could speak and say there was a compass to the left of the map and that her position and direction she had asked for had appeared, the bunny had rolled up the map and put it back into her coat, leaving Hiccup with his right hand up and stuttering. Toothless tilted his head to the left while shuffling his wings and swishing his tail across the ground as Hiccup listened to Lyria, lowering his arm before placing it on his head as he remembered something.

"Well, hearing as you want to go north, are you perhaps looking for Colby?" Hiccup asks before lowering his right arm again. "Because I saw him arrive sometime after noon and heard he landed outside of the city with Cavynthra to sleep together. I believe he is still there if you need to talk to him for something." Hiccup says as Toothless growls and huffs, causing Hiccup to turn around and place both arms out to shush him as Toothless just nods his head in confirmation of what his rider just said.

It does not take long after the removal of the dead pup before a rather strong contraction wraps its hold around Lilyheart, making her yelp out in pain and fear as her abdomen clenches down around her last pup while she presses her ears against her head instinctively. Star wakes up to the sudden noise and immediately went to soothing his mate, licking her neck and purring as the movement had also woken up the other three pups nestled against Lily's chest. They started to mewl, upset that their nap had been interrupted but Star quickly stands up and brings them to their nest and calms them down before returning to his mates side as another strong contraction ripples through her just seconds after the last. Concern clearly emanates from Star as he sees the contractions are getting shorter and stronger still while knowing his mate is getting weaker as he sees her bare her teeth and bring her hind legs up against her body.

"Shh, its alright Lily, shhh, everything going to be ok. Your almost there, your doing just fine, just one more my love." He whispers consolingly to her as he moves back to lay behind her, resting his left paw on her abdomen to feel her muscles contract and spasm before she relaxes and breathes heavily. Resting her head on the ground she pants while whimpering, looking up at her mate with a worried expression that she might not make it. Star nuzzles his mate's chin while purring loudly, not wanting her to have such doubts about whether she is going to live through this. Just because they lost one pup does not mean she has to give up even as another contraction rolls over her abdomen, making her whine and writhe on the ground as her last pup slowly makes its way out of her womb.

"I...I don't think I can...continue." Lily says weakly once the contraction ends, leaving her breathless and scared for the fate of her last pup and herself. She raises her head to stare at her abdomen, seeing her crotch covered in blood from when Star had gripped the already dead pup to pull it out of her. Pain constantly flowed through her body from her abdomen as her muscles tightened and fought to move the last pup along.

"Nonsense, I will not let you or our last pup die because you don't think you can do this. I will help you get through it, I promise. We will have four healthy pups, just bear with me my love." Star says, licking her nose as she lays her head back down while shaking before snarling when another strong contraction ripples through her. He knows her strength is fading fast, and if he does nothing she will probably concede and be lost as well as the last pup she is struggling to birth. Star shakes his head, relentless that he is not going to let that happen to their first litter. If she dies then the three she has already birthed will be dependent on me, and I will be hard pressed to supply them with food...No, they won't even make it far without a mother, as they will need to nurse from her for a couple weeks before they can even start on soft foods.

Star does not let those negative thoughts dissuade him as he stands up and moves to place both of his forepaws on his mate's abdomen once again. Lily opens her eyes and looks at him expectantly while her flanks rise and fall swiftly, knowing what he is going to do, knowing it will only bring more pain and suffering, but the reward of being alive and caring for her first litter along with her loving mate will be worth it. She bares her teeth and clenches her eyes as another contraction barrels down on her. At this moment Star reaches inside himself for his energy, bringing it forth and guiding it down his forelegs and into his mate, lending her the strength she needs to push while forcefully moving the pup along. Lily yelps as her aching cervix is forced open one more time without any consideration, leaving her whimpering as pain floods her mind, but at least the pup is in her birth canal by time the contraction ends.

Leaving her panting heavily and frightened, Star opens his eyes to see his mate shaking from the trauma of trying to birth their last pup. He continues to bear down on her each time a contraction hits, further aiding the pup down her birth canal and closer to the open world while she pushes. Star fears that if she takes too long, then this pup will perish just like the last, so he uses his energy whenever he can to make the contractions stronger while giving her more of his own strength so she can push. The process takes about forty-three minutes before Lily rests her head on the ground exhausted with Star similarly so from having used a lot of his energy to make sure both she and the pup made it. Lily is far too tired to attend to the pup, so Star walks to where it lays in its sack and starts licking it, cleaning it of the birthing fluids while stimulating its chest so it can breathe. The pup is extraordinarily big but will grow up to be strong and fast just like his father. Once the pup shows signs it's breathing with faint cries, Star picks it up and nudges it towards one of Lily's tits before walking around to her back and lying down.

Lily opens her eyes and shifts her head on the ground weakly, breathing heavily from the work it took to birth her last pup to lay her eyes on it. Star licks her cheek, comforting her for a job well done while happy and ecstatic that they have a litter of pups to care for now. Her eyes grow wide for a second in amazement that the pup is so big but turns her attention to her loving mate, basking in his love and adoration. "He will surely grow up to be a formidable warrior just like you." She says faintly, weak and tired, but alive and well.

"I am sure all of them will, two boys and two girls." Star replies, looking over to the others while a single tear falls from his muzzle. Lily sees his tear and lifts her neck gradually to lick his throat while purring back.

"What gender was...?" She says, trailing off, unsure if she should ask.

"...Female." Star says, closing his eyes before leaning into his mate, his love. "That does not matter, we still have four healthy pups to care for. Got any names for them?" Star says, looking down at Lily with a smile as she lays her head back down but keeps her eyes on him, not able to hold it up for very long.

"mmmmm, that can wait. How about some food?" Lily replies, obviously ravenous from the energy it took to birth the litter. Star laughs, wrapping his left paw around her back to lay it on hers before licking the back of her head.

"I will, in the morning. Lets just get some rest right now, we both need it." Star responds to where they soon drift off to sleep, but not before he brings the other three pups back to cuddle against their mothers stomach. Feeling safe and warm, the new family dozes off while the fire is nothing more than embers by now, yet it still casts a faint glow out in the snowstorm in the mountain range.

Aurora smiled and shook her head as small wisps of fire floated up into the night from her feathers, knowing how dazzling it was to first set eyes on the Tree of Life herself after Colby had created it. It really was a piece of work with roots that spanned wider than a highway and branches that could weather the strongest storm and show no signs of damage, not that any such thing was possible in this area. Deep below the roots held a massive crystal gem, a magical item that had near infinite power when worked with, but only held 200 years of energy when left in its raw form. This crystal is what gives the planet most of its magical aura and the ability for those who know of it to travel faster by connecting themselves to the stream. Aurora turned her head to look at the tree herself, sighing as she thought of her life before this, of how she made friends with Colby and helped him in the First Universal battle against the darkness. It was an honor to be able to live in the tree when it was over, and she would still serve him faithfully should any evil show itself.

Knowing that the longer they stayed here, the colder the air became as it was now past midnight with a soft breeze blowing by. Aurora walked over to Megumi and spread out her right wing, laying it gently against her back to usher her forward. "Come on, the more you stare the better the chance you will catch a cold." She says while nodding her head upwards. "I know you want answers as to what happened and where you are, and perhaps I can provide them for you once we get to the Tree." Aurora says before walking forward at whatever pace Megumi chooses. Whenever Colby gets back she could tell him of the new arrival, but she knew that probably would not be for some time, as he has other things to deal with of the same nature. Since it will take some time to get to the Tree of Life if she did not carry the girl on her back, she might as well ask her some more questions. "Tell me, Megumi, how...what exactly can you do, what is this power you have?" She says while looking down curiously at the girl.

Madam Poodle:

** ** As Render not-so-enjoys his little mealtime, he would begin to get lost in his own thoughts once again now that Kur'si was coming to rest. Young and restless be he, and his trust only just as absent as his rest at times. Some extent of contrasting norms can make it hard to understand why his trust rides so shallow, most of it being that he lived in a time where dragons were very prominent, but also quite bad. The night passed for Render quickly, his mind still endlessly churning gears as the calm breeze whips around some of his locks within it. After hearing the drake roll over in his own rest, Render popped a small huff of his own, tossing some of his bangs with it out of his eyes. Coming to look up, he'd see wings in flight, flapping about the night sky, but he could tell by their shape and altitude that those were no birds or bats flying around and above him and his rather sizely "friend" beside him.

Who or what these things were he had no idea, nor wanted to in particularly. Render's eyes would peer up into the night sky for a good few minutes, seeing the moonlight sky and all the other aerials coming about, the embers of the fire no longer a part of that group. Even though moonlight made the nighttime visible and even clear to the eyes of this assassin of the guild, the gryphon's were all but back silhouettes moving about the black and navy blue sky right above the monkey's rather keen eyes. Elusive sleep was not far behind him once those eyes closed to the night.

The raccoon dog would continue on, and despite the slow speed of walking, he was actually quite the stroller, though he proceeded more cautiously, hence his unhurried speed, it seemed. He could still see where other's presences lie; only difference in color and vague depth perception his only clues to their exact location. He knew he was being followed, even if by one...the one however makes him much more suspicious. Tanuki's heart rate would actually start to elevate, the proximity of the drake beaming a pressure in the back of his head. As well, he is more aware of the conflicts than perhaps the others could incline, having been hearing sounds and seeing what appeared to be...something pure black when he was facing a certain direction quite the ways back. Though...Tanuki became even more cautious to a point of stopping momentarily, as not only he...but Jacen and Erik could hear subconscious trotting...but no one else.

Though the sounds persist, the sound grows more faint to Jacen, but grows louder to Erik and his raccoon dog subject as it trots and trots... and trots seemingly closer. Looking around however, revealed nothing. The knight, however, knew exactly the source of the off-putting sound. In his own chambers of confinement, he would come to halt his own energy, everything he would come to build up halting, though his hands remained in the same position...himself wanting to get one thing clear to Jacen, as he has countless times and more in the past.

"I could escape your spell in a grave moment, but that's no longer important to my being now... You make a hard barter if I were who you suppose I am, but let me make myself clear on the matter, mortal: For this time I may grant mercy, but I have a duty myself to serve just the same as you!" The knight starts, what Jacen now once saw of a possible face was now gone... just blackened shade over features that have seemingly gone.

"The Black Knight holds no sword for another's reasoning... do I perhaps say that pray this reaches into the near depths of your mind. I express no elicit clauses to either attack nor spare anyone at any point in time, but, dare I say that my purpose requires me to reap the souls of mortals, living or deceased. And it is strictly under my judgment of who is brought under the Gatekeeper! A world even such as this has souls that must channel in order to keep the cycle flowing. For I know I have a different view of this blue world than you, or any of the others I have seen on prior to now!" The Knight continues to ramble...common as he does often. His features yet still gone from view, as a dark feeling about the air seems to suddenly surge, as he finishes his sentiment.

"Dare I once more say that no one's lives are safe from my sword, regardless of who is to stop me."

He speaks, his voice deeper and more growly than before, not for more than to glimpse Jacen to how and just a shred of who he is, and what it is he does. This was only followed by a very sudden climb in power... and a channels shock into the ground from his sword, the Knight only grunting lightly and turning the palm of his hand forward, showing a seal of his own perhaps... or maybe just a glowing crest of black. If jacen would continue to hold or even strengthen the hold... he's find something disrupting just that... the margin initially small, but very sluggishly growing more cumbersome.

With Erik and Tanuki, sub-conscious trotting continues to get louder and louder...

Hard to see in a dim night as it was, Foxy stands only at the threshold; hand still on the edge of such structure, the other holding up her towels over her chest. Her call seemed to reach at least someone's ears, as just near of the sound leaving her gullet did a shuffle sound back at her ear, followed by a slushed thud thereafter, with the subject of her call right before her eyes, scrambling to turn it seems. She came to wince as she heard him slip and fall, seeming him as he was now lay on nature's floor, shaken up it would appear to her. She had only few inquiries as to why he would bail so heavily upon hearing her, the most obvious being he wasn't expecting her to be there...and not long was she to see why. It was not his startling, though in retrospect, it made sense, or even his bouncing, long knotted length that caught her attention, as she understands that random erections happen.

What caught her own two prying eyes were most first a gleam of some kind off a rather stringy fluids when the dragon got up...her past would educate what that is, and after that, with the dragon already coming to growl, stand and cover himself up, she would notice that while he talked...he bucked his hips once...maybe even twice, and noticed his tail was wildly swaying behind him. While Rin spoke, she was hardly paying attention to what he was even telling her, starting to put two and two together while he spike, and even into finishing talking. It's a good few moments before she finished the equation...which was then followed by chronic nose bleeding, a sudden realization of what she just walked into, and a sensible weight of embarrassment that came to set in, her tail covering up between her legs and up over the middle of her belly and chest. Eyes peeled like a banana, she then starts to step back into shades territory, trying to keep her cool.

"N-no...uhm...take that time...f-figure that out, OK? Yeah, good!"

She hurries out near the end, just the same as her body did. Once finished saying just those few lines, she had completely stepped back into the home, not even bothering with the door she had opened prior, turning the corner, and somewhat just taking in what she just saw, eyes still peeled, and her mind all about in warp drive. For the meantime, she would remain put there, though she knows she wouldn't stay there forever...she was practically nude, after all, her towel quickly becoming damp with moisture. Remains of her blood residue bow reside all over the ground outside, and over the cusps of her nose and lips in quite the frenzy of events within the past minutes or so...

Walk on as both teems had been doing now; they just stared at Cedric for the most part for much of their long walk. But since walking was rather common for their daily routines, they showed very little exhaustion. Klin started to feel around the areas of torn cloth now, seeing the especially clean cuts pierced through his jacket and undershirt right to the cut scars just beyond each of them, feeling where the skin was smooth and where no fur grew from the scar tissue. His features grew more irritated and angered the more of his scars he came to find, remembering the pain he had felt but during and after, and the whole struggle he had to put up with just to keep himself from dying. It males him grit his teeth each time he thinks about it. A lot of cuts in his clothing he could place his hand right through... each cut at this point was an individual symbolism of just how much he wanted to pay that bastard back for what he did to him.

Kyo on the other hand wasn't so deep in his mind, though the events of that night also did a good job of reminding him what a close call that was. Sadly, being struck supernaturally hard with and ogre's fist and an oni's club is very lethal...just as lethal as being stabbed. Any harder of an impact, which very well could have happened, and he might have had much more lethal injuries that likely would have killed him that night, and even instantly. He could remember coughing and even hurling up blood that night: the first time he's ever had that happen in his life. Most all of his wounds were internal, with the only external damage being the visible wear on his clothes. For both of the two, if not for some kind of intervention, they'd both not have survived the night.

Only half paying attention however, they would come to hear mention of a dragon from Cedric's mouth, which, despite the other's attempt to catch up caused them both to stop, finding the notion oddly baffling.

"...Dragon?"

Kyo interjects just as he stops...which then triggers Klin out of his own mind and back into reality, stopping just short of the other, and looking to Kyo as he said that.

"Haven't dragons been dead for 200 years or something?"

Klin then asks, seeming certain of the notion that they were, as he surely knows there aren't any more dragons around. It could be inquired that in their world, dragons are and extinct species that no longer walks the green of their earth. And as such, they'd likely become surprised at what they next come to see once they move back forward, now that Cedric is caught up with them.

"That's the fact last time I checked..."

Kyo replies to his peer on the other side of him just as all of them once more began to move along into the night, seeing the buildings off in the distance, only slightly astonished by seeing it. It was somewhat like walking into a fantasy movie, seeing a town inside of one. Quite the turnaround from their more futuristic society and landscape, considering their home is just a circular island that's mostly urban space with tall buildings and lots of colorful lights, almost like a mix of something out of a fairy tale and a cyberpunk story. They'll admit it's surely a change of scenery, rather for better or worse. Upon further approaching the city, they'd notice Cedric mumbling to himself, making Kyo quirk a brow as to what, both watching him deviate from their path slightly, though Klin wasn't surprised. Unlike Cedric, they didn't have advanced sight, so most of what they saw was a large, dark silhouette, Cavynthra largely undisclosed to their eyes.

With Lyria, she'd hear most of what Hiccup would say, still standing straight up, just looking at the man she was discussing with with the same serious face on her features along with an identical stance to her posture. Her left paw re-asserts itself over the pommel of her sword-in-sheath, coming to state her reply to Hiccup, standing her tallest...which was not very tall.

"Pardon my asking, but who exactly is this Colby you speak of? I'd much care to know who I meet before I'm introduced."

She would state outright, the teachings of her father showing in her conduct clearly. Even though she was young and shorter than a lot of others around her, she seemed like a person who meant business just looking at her, but at the same time, one could find her to look harmlessly adorable with how she stands in contrast to the stature of her body.

Such a large, powerful presence of a signature was no barter to turn away, so something must be going on over where the sorcerer is sensing this great power. The chills flying in the blizzards of the mountaintops still had not overcome Panic! And his relatively scarce clothing for the bitter bite of the cold, and it wasn't much more of a problem than that as long of these subtle flames circle around himself to keep warm. As he continues to monitor the signature, he comes to a point where if not now, he will surely pass the opportunity up...and he may not know when another opportunity will come at such a convenient time. No one seems to be after him right this second, and something like this will only take a short while at best...after all, he did nearly have a soul of an ancient in his hands just before being in this new world...but then again, it's easier but just as fun to prey on the helpless...and it's much better when they have a bark to them.

"Hey! Turn around... I want to get a close look at what's going on down there..."

Moving his shoe to tap the back of the poor bird of the blackened world that carries his weight, as he would say this, aching a squawk from its beak. The wind was think in the cold air and snow, but the black flight could take the nature, and would come to screech again as it came to face about, its shadowed black feathers now beginning to flood the snow white valley. The feather will disappear in time once the bird either dies or is called back into the man's book of captured and summoned creatures. Perhaps one of very few cases of totally independent thought, the bird didn't just turn completely around in a traditional U-turn, especially given the wind and snow. So instead, the bird would come to fly left, turning east into a pass by the mountains in attempt to flight around the top of the mounting, even in scenarios of combating the wind.

The fly around the mountain was no short voyage, the bird mostly following the inside of a rough path of the visible valley below, Panic! Still trying to keep tabs on that now waning source of energy, wondering what's draining it so much. Perhaps whatever it is has figuratively reached past the peak of the climb. The signature was not all that high to begin with, though it was definitive that this things was stronger than he at the time... a perfect subject now that he sees. A power boost would do his being good right about now that he's cast a proverbial ceiling over his head to test his own abilities. With this power beginning to drop further and further now, and Panic! grew more and more eager as he further monitored and witnessed this rather great plunge now as the sky was black in the night.

The point where Lily and Star are at rest in their chambers, Panic! has only begun to find his camp which he'll land. All of about half an hour it took he and the bird to circle around the mountain, Panic seeing a level-enough pillar to land and camp for a few minutes just by what seemed to be an increasingly dim entrance to a cave opening in the side of the mountain, fading his own circling fires to dim the light that radiated from them. Footing the back of the birds head twice, this time without saying anything, Panic and his bird ride now come to a slow and oddly fluid glide despite the snow and wind storm before the bird drops its black talons down from its body, squawks once more, and hits down on the level edge of the mountain. The landing was not the most ideal, as the bird slide about 5 yards before actually stopping, coming frighteningly close cut to the rather steep ledge of the mountain's natural platform.

The small level was below where Lily and Star now lay with their birthed pups: much too low to be physically seen in the darkness and snow cover that fogged near distances. Once the large flier hand come to stand upright and flap its large wings, Panic! had jumped himself back, away from the bird and further into the mountain. His leap was only small, however, and landed quickly, coveted onto his knees before standing, and turning to face up at the entrance to the cave which stood quite far above him...having that disgusting vague grin over his face that just plagues his sinister nature and intentions, coming slowly to bring his spell book off his chain latched to the back of his belt. If this goes to plan this is going to be a blast for the sorcerer.

The concept of a Tree of Life was new to Megumi, though she's familiar of them through popular media depictions and their portrayal in fiction. She would never really think she'd be standing right in front of one... and boy, did it look like it took an earth just to grow it. A shred of bark must be as large as a parking lot, and a branch must go on for days on end. Perhaps she'd be staring all night if not for her insatiable curiosity, and more so the subtle push of the phoenix's wing against her back, noting that it felt rather warm. She fidgets a little bit to the sudden push, though pushing her was not all that difficult either, given her stance isn't grounded at all, be it that her feet aren't even on the ground.

Looking down, one could actually see where her suspension parted the grass below the tips of her toes. Their pacing was actually set by Aurora's ability to push on her, as Megumi would just somewhat...slide along, almost as if there was no resistance underneath her. Along with her slippery self just hovering above the plains, she starts to hear the other usher a question to her, coming to turn around to look at her first, and then down at the ground, all while still hovering forward without pause... seeing it was almost like watching an air hockey puck sit on an air hockey table and just move.

"Are...you talking about my 'floating?' Many people find it strange, but I'm not sure why. Can you fly? I can!"

She'd get a bit excited, starting to smile. This question was followed by her holding out her arms a little more, closing her eyes... and an upward ascension just immediately after both. The par in the grass below her grew as she started to lift herself off the ground, facing toward the moon as she did so. Aurora could likely feel the air flowing away from her body as she rose, its flow only dying down once she stopped rising off from the ground, her feet now just above Aurora's head, Megumi's arms dropping back down and opening her eyes back up. The whole process took all of but a minute, the moonlight now gleaming right off her face as she came to pivot to face Aurora, who is now on the ground below her.

"See?"

She'd ask now down to the phoenix, just suspended in the air...stilled right in her position, with no distortions in her flight, or any noticeable effort at all. This was only the beginning for her though, as non-aerodynamic flight was just one of her rudimentary talents.
